One Nation Under God

"To truly champion democracy, it is essential to understand its significance. It’s not simply because the populace is always right; history teaches us that decisions can be misguided, as seen in the demand for Barabbas. We defend democracy because, in our imperfect world, no individual should have unchecked power. Therefore, accountability between those who govern and the governed becomes crucial for protecting our freedoms and principles.

It is crucial for the electorate to establish a strong standard to hold our government accountable—one enriched with clear principles of right and wrong. Without this unwavering benchmark, which should stem from a source beyond fluctuating public opinion, we may fall into a "might makes right" mindset. Together, let us wholeheartedly commit to upholding these essential ideals for the benefit of everyone!" ... ray mileur
