It's only once in a while that you cross paths with someone that simply elevates your spirit and helps to boast your faith. I started caring for an elderly gentleman, and I just LOVE being in his presence. He has macular degeneration, so he is going blind and unable to read from the Bible, so I brought my Bible and we read from the gospel of John and We talk Jesus in every conversation. He doesn't allow you to claim a sickness in your body, so when you tell him you "have something" he stops you and says "BY JESUS' STRIPES WE ARE HEALED, WE REBUKE THIS RIGHT NOW AND DO NOT CLAIM IT! AMEN!" We inspire one another in our faith walk and while I'm there to clean, cook, do laundry and anything else he needs, we continue to talk Jesus. He has no idea how much light he brings into mine and my family's lives and just how loved and appreciated he is. Thank you Jesus for putting this soul in our lives!
