  • It's only once in a while that you cross paths with someone that simply elevates your spirit and helps to boast your faith. I started caring for an elderly gentleman, and I just LOVE being in his presence. He has macular degeneration, so he is going blind and unable to read from the Bible, so I brought my Bible and we read from the gospel of John and We talk Jesus in every conversation. He doesn't allow you to claim a sickness in your body, so when you tell him you "have something" he stops you and says "BY JESUS' STRIPES WE ARE HEALED, WE REBUKE THIS RIGHT NOW AND DO NOT CLAIM IT! AMEN!" We inspire one another in our faith walk and while I'm there to clean, cook, do laundry and anything else he needs, we continue to talk Jesus. He has no idea how much light he brings into mine and my family's lives and just how loved and appreciated he is. Thank you Jesus for putting this soul in our lives!

  • The Way, the Truth, and the Life

1.“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.

2.“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3.“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

4 “And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

5.Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

6.Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

    HISTORY OF VALENTINES DAY

When Emperor Claudius demanded that Christians deny their consciences and worship pagan idols, Valentine refused. Valentine was arrested, dragged before the Prefect of Rome, who condemned him to die.
While awaiting execution, his jailer, Asterius, asked Valentine to pray for his blind daughter. When she miraculously regained her sight, the jailer converted and was baptized, along with many others. Right before his execution, Valentine wrote a note to the jailer's daughter, signing it, "from your Valentine."

Valentine was beaten with clubs and stones, and then beheaded outside the Flaminian Gate on FEBRUARY 14, 269AD.
This eventually developed into the 18th-century English traditions of presenting flowers, offering confectionery and sending Valentine greeting cards.
People often sign Valentine cards with X's and O's. “X" became a common
abbreviation for the name Christ. In Medieval times, the "X" was called the Christ's Cross.

This is the origin of signing a Valentines' card with an "X" to express a pledge before God to be faithful and an "O" to seal the pledge with a kiss of sincerity.

  • I am so thankful for what the Lord has done for me and my family. He deserves WAY MORE praise than we give Him. Thank you Jesus, for your forgiveness and love, though we don't deserve it!
