Yes, it makes a difference. No, you can't make it "all about Jesus." You don't have the power or authority to do that, to sanctify any day. The Bible clearly tells you that. In fact, scripture specifically warns us to NOT try to christianize pagan traditions and even says that doing so is an ABOMINATION unto God. Don't let your traditions cause you to offend God. Don't teach your children that disobedience to God is OK. Stop sending the message that you should feed your flesh before seeking to please your Creator. It starts with learning. We can help.
