John 19:30 - “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

“It is finished” refers to the end of Christ’s work as the sacrificial Lamb — not the end of salvation’s plan. The sanctuary teaches us there is still the Holy Place and Most Holy Place work to come, which is what Christ has been doing since.

By studying the earthly sanctuary and its service, which were copies of the original, we can see where in Heaven Christ is now and what He is doing.
