CHILDREN ARE GIFTS, NOT A BURDEN
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him." Psalm 127:3 NLT.
Children are a gift from the LORD, they are a part of His inheritance and plan for us. They are not our own property or possession, but belong to Him who created them. He has a purpose and a destiny for each one of them, and He invites us to partner with Him in raising them for His glory.
Children are not a burden or a mistake, no matter the circumstances of their birth, they are a blessing and privilege from God. He entrusts us with these precious lives as custodians and calls us to nurture them for Him in His ways, for the attendant rewards. Children are like arrows in the hand of a warrior (Psalm 127:4). They are meant to be launched into the world with direction and force, to make an impact for God's kingdom. They are not to be kept in our quiver forever, but to be trained and equipped for their mission. As parents, we have the responsibility and the opportunity to shape and sharpen them with God's Word and Spirit.Children are a source of joy and strength for their parents (Psalm 127:5).
They bring happiness and laughter to our homes, and they give us courage and confidence in facing life's challenges. They are also our advocates and allies, who will stand with us and speak for us when we need them. They are our legacy and our reward.Let's be thankful to God for the gift of children, and let us cherish them as His heritage. Pray for them daily, guide them with love and wisdom. We should always endeavour to celebrate their uniqueness and potentials, and should not hesitate to release them into their destiny.
Let us honour God with our children, and enjoy His blessings through them.
PRAYER BULLETS:
ABBA Father, I am thankful for the gift of these gifts from You. I ask for the grace and wisdom to train them in the way they should go; in Your Way.
