- I came across someone who said "since I have been a Christian following the steps of Jesus nothing was working out, but immediately I changed religion and becomes a traditionalist everything changes and now I have a car and a house".
Well i responded with, "Congratulations on your new car, and I am genuinely happy for you, especially if it was acquired through honest and legitimate means".
However, i shared something with him. I told him that, one of Hollywood's most successful actor(Will Smith). He once expressed in a podcast that he had reached the pinnacle of wealth and possessed virtually everything money could buy, yet he still found an emptiness within and could not find true satisfaction for his soul.
Many people believe that money is the solution to all of life's problems. But there comes a level of wealth where a person realizes that money, by itself, cannot truly satisfy the human heart. Material possessions can provide comfort and pleasure, but they cannot fill the deepest void within a man.
The only satisfaction that leaves no emptiness, no longing, and no vacuum in the soul is found in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. True peace, fulfillment, and lasting joy are not found in possessions or riches, but in a genuine relationship with Him.
I don't know the reason why people equate the material things of this world with eternity.

Child of God listen to this: once you give room for compromise or lust, automatically a foothold becomes a stronghold.

- While meditating on the Word of God in 1 Samuel 18:5, the Holy Spirit impressed a profound truth upon my heart.
And what is this truth?
Character.
The Scripture tells us that David went wherever Saul sent him and "behaved himself wisely." As a result, Saul appointed him over the men of war, and he gained the acceptance of both the people and Saul's servants.
David's promotion was not solely the result of his courage, strength, or military achievements. It was also a consequence of his character, wisdom, and conduct.
We live in a world that often celebrates talent, wealth, and power, yet God places great value on character.
Men of genius are admired.
Men of wealth are envied.
Men of power are feared.
But men of character are trusted.
Character has a remarkable way of positioning a person for greater opportunities and lasting influence. It is the foundation upon which true leadership is built and sustained.
A man without character may attain power, but he cannot sustain it for long. Power without character inevitably leads to destruction, while character coupled with wisdom produces a legacy that endures.
If David's life teaches us anything, it is that God not only elevates gifted men, He elevates trustworthy men. Therefore, let us labor not only to develop our talents but also to cultivate godly character, for character is the currency of lasting greatness. While meditating on the Word of God in 1 Samuel 18:5, the Holy Spirit impressed a profound truth upon my heart.
