Proverbs 18:13 teaches us that "To answer before listening-that is folly and shame" (NIV). - I didn't realize I was standing in the valley of decision until everything around me grew still. The noise that used to affirm me no longer fed me, the plans that once brought excitement suddenly felt hollow, and all I could sense was the quiet weight of His presence asking me to slow down. It wasn't punishment... it was invitation. Heaven had drawn near, and I could feel the collision of divine invitation and human will inside of me.
It was as though God had placed me between two worlds: the one I knew how to control, and the one He was asking me to trust. And in that space, nothing counterfeit could survive. I wanted movement, but He wanted surrender. I wanted answers, but He asked for consecration. The valley became a place of refinement, where He began to cut away the pieces of me that were built for survival, not surrender.
I didn't know that obedience could ache like that. It felt like loss, but it was actually deliverance. Every time I let go, I could feel something sacred taking root. The longer I stayed in that stillness, the clearer I became. The striving stopped. The noise broke. And what remained was presence - pure, steady, holy.
That's when I began to see the beauty of it all. The destruction of the old season wasn't punishment; it was preparation. He was restoring what had been devoured, but in a way that required me to release what I thought I needed to keep. The valley taught me that consecration is not about what you lose, it's about what you make room for.
Because when I finally chose heaven over the comfort of what was familiar, the fountain began to flow again. The life, the clarity, the oil, it all returned; but this time it was rooted in something unshakeable. The valley didn't break me.

- The older I get, the more I see why God wants us to depend on Him first. Humans will disappoint you every time. The Bible repeatedly shows us that God restores people who thought their story was over. He rebuilds what was broken, redeems what looked wasted, and breathes purpose into places that seemed hopeless. Never mistake a difficult chapter for the end of your story. - Adam was never born.
He has no childhood.
No first word.
No mother to resemble.
No memories before consciousness.
He opens his eyes as a fully formed man, and the very first face he has ever seen is the face of God.
Think about how impossible that is.
The first voice he ever heard was not human.
The first relationship he ever knew had no fear. The first love he ever experienced had no conditions.
Which means Adam never had to learn who God was.
He only had to learn what life felt like after losing what he once knew perfectly.
Maybe that's why humanity has spent every generation searching for something it cannot explain.
Perhaps every soul carries an echo of a home it never personally remembers but was originally created for. #LordsbookAdam was never born. He has no childhood. No first word. No mother to resemble. - Please stay away from alcohol and cigarettes-they are not good for you.!
To those who are still struggling with these habits, we lovingly encourage you to leave them behind. They do not bring lasting good. Choosing to walk away from them can be a blessing not only for your own life, but also for your family.
In the name of Jesus, who truly loves you, there is hope. Come to Him today.
Jesus, please look upon the people of our land. Give them hearts that love and honor You, and fill them with wisdom. Amen.

- Sometimes God will lead you right back into the places that broke you... not to disappoint you again, but to redeem what you thought was over. The disciples fished all night and caught nothing-exhausted, discouraged, frustrated. But when Jesus stepped into their boat, everything changed. The same sea. The same nets. The same men.
But a different outcome, because His presence shifts the impossible.
This is how God works:
He revisits the places where you lost hope.
He re-enters the chapters where you felt unseen.
He breathes life into the moments that left you empty-handed.
Not to shame you... but to show you His power.
Not to repeat your disappointment... but to reverse it.
Not to expose your weakness... but to reveal His strength.
If you're standing in front of something that once failed you, don't be afraid. Don't walk away. Don't assume it's pointless. When Jesus steps into the story, even the waters that once swallowed your efforts can become the waters that deliver your miracle.
What defeated you before will not defeat you again-because this time, you're not casting alone.
Let this be your reminder:
With Him, nothing is truly empty.
With Him, no story is too far gone.
With Him, even your "nothing" can become more than enough.

- Are you actually connected to God?
Your fruit will tell you.
Jesus said it plainly: "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." - John 15:5
Here's what I keep coming back to: a branch doesn't strain to produce grapes. It doesn't wake up at 5am to try harder. It just stays attached.
So when love feels forced... when peace won't come... when patience runs out by 9am - the question usually isn't "how do I get more of this?"

If obedience is better than sacrifice, then being a daughter of God will always outweigh being anyone's wife.
And a woman that's so preoccupied with adding weight to her left hand will never realize the full weight of Jesus holding her right. In her need to be one flesh she will run to the wrong altar. Because how many times have we pleaded to become one with someone else's soul over being one with Jesus and the Lord alone? The heaviness of true value has been diminished to the weight of a ring, to such a small thing, to the holding of a woman's skin. It has diminished to two souls being bonded together rather than being Jesus' kin. In the trading in of being called daughter of God to be called lover by another is yearning for partnership over resurrection. It is desiring human love over eternal salvation and a man's " I do" won't save you. A man's I love you won't make you. Wearing white won't raise you from the dead. A diamond ring won't set you free. And a man's love won't fill the part of you that feels empty and needs filling. And it's grevious, that. and covering, and you feel nothing because you don't desire his hand, you desire the love of another man and is that not an idol? When you praise and plead and worship to be another man's need more than worship the one who died so you could be?

Greetings family, @all Faith is essential, but wisdom is what builds something that lasts. I was reflecting on this verse Proverbs 24:3 which says, a house is built by wisdom and established by understanding. Not passion. Not good intentions. Not even faith alone.
Wisdom.
Whatever God has called you to build (your family, your business, your ministry, your life) it needs wisdom as much as it needs faith. Wisdom isn't the enemy of faith. It's what keeps your faith from becoming reckless. Faith gets you started. Wisdom keeps you standing. You need both. Ask God for wisdom today as boldly as you ask Him for miracles.
He gives it generously to those who ask. (James 1:5)
