• “Be careful what you feed your soul; it shapes who you become.”

Just as our body needs good food to remain healthy, our soul also needs the right spiritual nourishment. Every day, we feed our soul through what we watch, what we hear, what we read, the conversations we engage in, and the thoughts we continually allow into our minds.

Not everything that satisfies our curiosity will strengthen our soul. Not everything that makes us happy will help us grow spiritually. Some things may seem harmless, but little by little, they can fill our hearts with fear, anger, impure thoughts, negative thinking, and worldly desires.

Whatever we continually consume will eventually influence our thoughts, desires, words, and way of life.

That is why we must be very careful about what we allow into our hearts. Instead of constantly filling our souls with the noise of the world, we should fill them with God’s Word, prayer, worship, godly fellowship, and things that draw us closer to Christ.

    Jesus said:

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
    — Matthew 4:4

It is not only about asking, “What am I watching?” or “What am I listening to?”

    We must also ask:

“What are these things doing to my soul?”

Because what you feed your soul today will eventually shape who you become tomorrow.

Therefore, guard your heart. Wisely choose the things that influence your life. Make God’s Word the daily nourishment of your soul.

“Fill your soul with things that strengthen your faith, but do not fill it with things that slowly weaken it.”

  • LACHISH
He besieged the city. Then he had the siege carved into his own palace wall, in stone, with his name attached. Twenty-six centuries later, archaeologists dug up the city he was bragging about — and found it exactly where he said it was.
In 701 BC, the Assyrian king Sennacherib marched against the kingdom of Judah. The Bible describes it in three separate places — 2 Kings 18–19, 2 Chronicles 32, and Isaiah 36–37 — during the reign of King Hezekiah. One of the cities he attacked was Lachish, Judah's second most important city after Jerusalem.
Sennacherib didn't just conquer Lachish. He was proud enough of it to commission an enormous series of stone relief panels depicting the siege in vivid detail, and installed them in his own palace at Nineveh. They show archers, siege engines, a massive ramp built against the city wall, defenders on the ramparts, and rows of captives being led away. An inscription beside the panels records Sennacherib reviewing the plunder of Lachish in person.
Archaeologists excavating Tel Lachish in Israel — across decades of work by Starkey, Aharoni, Ussishkin, and Garfinkel — found the physical siege ramp still standing, built from roughly 20,000 tons of stone. They found a destruction layer of ash and collapsed walls dated to the same period. They found arrowheads, sling stones, and a chain believed to belong to one of the battering rams shown on the Nineveh reliefs.
This is not a case of faith filling in gaps where evidence is silent. This is a Judean city, a Judean king, and an Assyrian campaign attested independently in Hebrew scripture, in Assyrian royal inscriptions, in a palace relief carved by the victors, and in the ground itself. The relief shows a ramp. The excavation found the ramp. The Bible says the city fell. The archaeology shows it burned.
The Bible is not describing a mythical world disconnected from history. It places its people, kings, cities, and battles in a real geographical and historical setting — and Lachish is one of the places where those claims can still be walked on, dug into, and verified today.

  • 3 WAYS TO DEVELOP AND STRENGTHEN YOUR PROPHETIC CALLING

The prophetic gift is not something we should treat casually. What God places within us must be cultivated through spiritual discipline, intimacy with Him, and the right spiritual environment. If you desire to mature in the prophetic, you must intentionally build a life capable of carrying what God entrusts to you.

    ## 1. Give Yourself to Prayer and Fasting

Prayer develops our intimacy with God, while fasting helps bring our flesh under submission. The prophetic becomes clearer when our hearts are continually turned toward the Lord.

A prophetic gift cannot be sustained by gifting alone. We need a life of prayer that keeps our hearts sensitive to the Holy Spirit and a life of consecration that teaches us to put God's desires above our own appetites.

There are times when God calls us into deeper levels of prayer and fasting because He is preparing us to receive, discern, and carry greater spiritual responsibility.

*If you want greater sensitivity to the voice of God, make room for deeper consecration.*

    ## 2. Establish Yourself in the Word of God

The prophetic must always be anchored in Scripture. Revelation should never become an excuse to neglect the written Word of God.

The Bible teaches us how to recognize God's character, test what we hear, and distinguish truth from our own emotions, desires, assumptions, or deception. Scripture gives us the foundation by which prophetic impressions and revelations can be examined.

The more deeply the Word of God is established in you, the stronger your spiritual discernment becomes.

    > *“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”*
    >
    > — Psalm 119:11, KJV

Don't seek revelation while neglecting the Book that teaches you how to recognize truth.

    ## 3. Surround Yourself With the Right Spiritual Atmosphere

The environment around you can influence what develops within you. There are environments that can weaken your spiritual hunger, and there are environments that can awaken gifts and desires that God has placed inside you.

We see an example of this in the life of Saul. When he encountered the company of prophets, Scripture tells us that the Spirit of God came upon him and he prophesied among them.

    *1 Samuel 10:10–11*

This shows us the importance of spiritual atmosphere. What surrounds you matters.

Make room in your life for prayer, worship, the Word, sound biblical teaching, genuine fellowship, and people who sincerely pursue the presence of God.

The right environment does not replace your personal relationship with God, but it can encourage, strengthen, and help develop what He has already placed within you.

    ### BUILD A LIFE THAT CAN CARRY THE FIRE

If you desire to grow in the prophetic, don't focus only on receiving prophetic experiences. *Build the character, discipline, prayer life, biblical foundation, and consecration necessary to carry what God gives you.*

The greater the fire God entrusts to you, the greater the responsibility to maintain the altar.

*Cultivate the presence. Guard the Word. Strengthen your prayer life. Choose your atmosphere wisely. And allow the Holy Spirit to mature what God has placed within you

  • Lord,
I am so humbled and grateful to be in your presence. Guide me in my day into alignment with your will. May I seek your purpose and not be distracted by the things of this world. Show me your ways and renew my thoughts in your word. I lift up my loved ones and ask that they can experience your peace and strength in their own daily lives. May we all draw near to you so that you will draw near to us. In Jesus name, Amen

  • GOD’S GRACE IS ENOUGH

You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to be perfect. You simply need to trust God and allow His grace to carry you through.

When your strength is not enough, His grace is sufficient.
When you don’t know what to do, His Spirit will guide you.
When you feel weak, His power can sustain you.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Let go of your worries. Give them to God. He’s got you.

  • MY MINISTRY JOURNEY — JOSHUA ANDAMAN

God called me to serve Him and to reach people with His love. My ministry is not about myself—it is about serving God, serving people, and bringing hope to those in need.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of reaching children, families, youth, villages, and needy communities. We provide educational materials and school supplies to children, support families with essential provisions, conduct outreach programs, and share the Word of God with those who need hope and encouragement.

During difficult seasons, including the lockdown period, we stood with needy families by distributing food and essential provisions. We have also reached remote communities, conducted gatherings, encouraged young people, and helped children experience love, dignity, and hope.

Every child we help, every family we encourage, and every life we touch reminds us that small acts of love can make a great difference.

This ministry continues by faith. I cannot do everything alone. Your prayers, encouragement, and support can help us reach more children, more families, and more communities with the love of Christ.

“Let us not grow weary while doing good...” — Galatians 6:9
