🌱 Christ is the New Root of the New Humanity Union is a union of life with death. Therefore, if true death is not the separation of the soul from the body, but the separation of the soul from God - for God is life, and whoever is separated from life is dead - how can new life sprout in humans who through sin have been separated from God?! God had already prepared another root, different from the old root from which the old humanity sprouted. This root is Christ. The Creator designed a human root for our race to restore us to what we were, meaning the state of incorruption; because just as the image of the first man, who was of dust, carved in us the image of death and the necessity of death and remaining in death, likewise - as a counter-action - the second beginning, meaning the one who came after Adam, Christ, became so that we might become conformed to His image and likeness through the Holy Spirit who imprints in us incorruption. And as disobedience subjected us to judgment in the first root, so through complete obedience and submission, we became partakers in the heavenly blessing from the Father. And how did this happen? The only Son, the Word of God, descended from heaven voluntarily, and death did not rule over Him as it ruled over us, as if Adam had also transferred our death to Him. This is impossible; because He is the Life who gives life to all. But He became incarnate to teach us that our form, which corruption had seized, would be transferred into life through Him... It is inconceivable to believe that Adam, born from the earth as a human, was able to wound the entire human race, so the curse became an inheritance and the power of death dominated everyone, while Emmanuel who is from heaven and who is God by nature did not give us from His side a rich sharing in His life, meaning for those He calls to partake in Him and become like Him through faith. #NewCreation #ChristTheRoot #Incarnation #Incorruption #TheLastAdam
