And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately.
The Power of Christ
For eight years Aeneas had been paralyzed and confined to his bed. Yet when Peter spoke in the name of Jesus, healing came immediately.
Peter made it clear that the miracle was not his own doing. The power belonged to Jesus Christ. This healing became a testimony to God's authority and compassion.
While God does not always heal in the way or timing we expect, He remains the same powerful Savior. He restores lives, strengthens hearts, and works according to His perfect wisdom.
