    COME TO JESUS AND DRINK!

    TEXT: JOHN 7:1–53

    KEY VERSE:

    «“If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” — John 7:37 (KJV)»

    John 7 reveals Jesus ministering in the midst of opposition, unbelief, confusion, and division.

    People had different opinions about Him. Some questioned His identity. Others criticized Him. Some wanted to arrest Him. Yet Jesus continued to teach and proclaim the truth.

    Then, on the final and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried:

    «“If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.”»

    This was more than an invitation for physical water.

    Jesus was speaking to the deepest thirst of the human heart.

    The world cannot satisfy the soul. Only Jesus can.

    THREE LESSONS FROM JOHN 7

    COME TO JESUS WHEN YOUR SOUL IS THIRSTY.

    Jesus said:

    «“If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” — John 7:37»

    Everyone experiences a thirst that material things cannot satisfy.

    You may have money and still be empty.

    You may have friends and still feel lonely.

    You may have success and still lack peace.

    You may have possessions and still desire something more.

    The soul was created for God.

    Therefore, don't try to satisfy a spiritual thirst with worldly things.

    Come to Jesus.

    He gives peace to the troubled heart.

    He gives hope to the discouraged.

    He gives forgiveness to the sinner.

    He gives purpose to the lost.

    He gives eternal life to those who believe.

    THE HOLY SPIRIT FLOWS FROM A LIFE CONNECTED TO CHRIST.

    John 7:38–39 says:

    «“He that believeth on me... out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”»

    John explains that Jesus was speaking about the Holy Spirit.

    God does not want us merely to receive His blessing; He wants His life to flow through us to others.

    You should not be a container that only receives.

    You should become a channel that gives.

    Receive God's love—and show it.

    Receive His grace—and extend it.

    Receive His Word—and share it.

    Receive His comfort—and comfort others.

    Receive the Gospel—and preach it.

    A life filled with Christ should become a blessing to others.

    DON'T ALLOW PEOPLE'S OPINIONS TO KEEP YOU FROM JESUS.

    John 7 is filled with different opinions about Jesus.

    Some said He was a good man.

    Others said He deceived people.

    Some recognized that He was the Christ.

    Others questioned where He came from.

    Even among the people, there was division because of Him.

    This reminds us that people will always have opinions about Jesus.

    But your salvation cannot be based on people's opinions.

    You must personally know Christ.

    Don't reject Jesus because someone else rejected Him.

    Don't abandon your faith because someone mocks you.

    Don't compromise because you want people's approval.

    Know whom you believe.

    SEARCH THE WORD FOR YOURSELF

    The people questioned Jesus' teaching because they were unfamiliar with His authority.

    Jesus said:

    «“My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.” — John 7:16»

    This teaches us the importance of knowing God's Word.

    Don't build your faith solely on what someone tells you.

    Study Scripture.

    Pray for understanding.

    Test what you hear.

    Know the truth.

    A believer who knows God's Word is less likely to be carried away by deception.

    Don't just hear the Word—search it, understand it, and live it.

    JESUS CAN SATISFY WHAT THE WORLD CANNOT

    There is a thirst inside humanity that money cannot quench.

    The Samaritan woman in John 4 needed Living Water.

    The crowd in John 6 needed the Bread of Life.

    And in John 7, Jesus again offers Himself as the One who satisfies the thirsty soul.

    The message is consistent:

    JESUS IS ENOUGH.

    When you have Christ, you have the greatest treasure.

    When everything else changes, Christ remains.

    When people leave, Christ remains.

    When circumstances become difficult, Christ remains.

    When the world cannot answer your questions, Christ remains.

    Come to Jesus and drink.

    LET THE RIVERS FLOW THROUGH YOU

    Jesus did not say that the living water would remain stagnant.

    He said:

    «“Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”»

    A river flows.

    Therefore, don't keep your Christianity hidden.

    Let your faith be visible.

    Let your kindness speak.

    Let your character testify.

    Let your words carry grace.

    Let your life preach Christ.

    Someone around you may be spiritually thirsty.

    Your testimony may encourage them.

    Your prayer may strengthen them.

    Your invitation may bring them to church.

    Your witness may lead them to salvation.

    Let the living water flow!

    JESUS WILL ALWAYS BRING A DECISION

    John 7 shows that people were divided because of Jesus.

    Some believed.

    Some doubted.

    Some opposed Him.

    Some wanted to arrest Him.

    Jesus still demands a response today.

    You cannot remain neutral forever.

    The question is not merely:

    “What do people say about Jesus?”

    The question is:

    “WHO IS JESUS TO YOU?”

    Is He your Saviour?

    Is He your Lord?

    Is He your King?

    Are you following Him?

    Are you obeying His Word?

    ✍🏽 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

    The world offers temporary satisfaction, but Jesus offers Living Water that becomes a river within us. Come to Him, drink deeply, and let His life flow through you.

    🏽 PRAYER

    Heavenly Father,

    Thank You for giving us Jesus Christ, the source of Living Water.

    Lord Jesus, I come to You with every thirst, emptiness, weakness, and need in my heart. Fill me with Your presence and satisfy my soul with what only You can provide.

    Holy Spirit, work deeply within me. Let rivers of living water flow through my life.

    Help me not to be controlled by the opinions of people. Give me courage to stand for Christ even when others reject or misunderstand Him.

    Give me a deeper hunger for Your Word and greater understanding of Your truth.

    Use my life as a channel of Your love, grace, and Gospel. Let someone encounter Jesus because of my words, actions, and testimony.

    May I never look to the world for what only Christ can provide.

    In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. 🏽

  • *TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - MONDAY, 24TH AUGUST, 2026.*

    *FAITH THAT REACHES OUT TO JESUS*

    Scripture:
    “For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” — Mark 5:28–29 (KJV).

    *Reflection – One Touch Can Change Everything.*

    In Mark 5, we meet a woman who had suffered for twelve years. She had endured a painful and exhausting situation, but she refused to allow her circumstances to destroy her hope.

    When she heard about Jesus, she said within herself, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” She moved toward Jesus in faith, reached out, touched His garment, and immediately experienced a change.

    Her story teaches us that faith takes action. She did not merely hear about Jesus; she moved toward Him. She did not allow the crowd, her past, or the length of her struggle to stop her.

    Today, you may have been waiting for an answer for a long time. You may have prayed repeatedly and wondered when your situation would change. Do not give up.

    Keep reaching out to Jesus.

    Your breakthrough may come in a way you did not expect, but your confidence must remain in Christ.

    *Prophetic Declaration:*
    Today, I declare that my faith is alive and active. I will not allow the length of my struggle to destroy my expectation. I will continue to reach out to Jesus Christ.

    I declare that every situation that has resisted human solutions is surrendered into the hands of the Almighty God. The Lord shall intervene according to His perfect will and timing.

    Today, I receive fresh faith to believe God again. Where disappointment has weakened my expectation, may the Lord renew my confidence. Where delay has made me tired, may He strengthen my heart.

    I declare divine intervention over my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and destiny. May the Lord touch every area that needs His transforming power.

    I proclaim that no crowd, obstacle, discouragement, or past experience shall prevent me from pursuing Jesus. I will keep praying. I will keep believing. I will keep trusting. I will keep moving forward.

    I declare that every legitimate expectation according to God's will shall receive divine attention. The Lord shall make a way where He has ordained a way, and He shall give me grace to trust Him where I must wait.

    Today, I reject hopelessness. I reject the belief that nothing can change. I reject the voice that tells me to give up.

    I declare that my faith shall overcome fear, my hope shall overcome discouragement, and my trust in God shall overcome uncertainty.

    I proclaim restoration over every area of my life that has experienced loss, weakness, stagnation, or disappointment. May God restore my joy, renew my strength, and establish me according to His purpose.

    I declare that my testimony shall encourage others. What God does in my life shall become evidence that faith in Christ is never misplaced.

    Today, I reach out to Jesus with confidence.

    I will not give up.
    I will not turn back.
    I will keep believing.
    I will keep trusting.
    I will keep reaching for Jesus.

    Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!

    *Action Steps for today:*
    Begin with faith: Thank Jesus because He is still able to intervene in every situation.

    Read Mark 5:25–34: Meditate on the faith and determination of the woman who reached out to Jesus.

    Declare: “By faith, I reach out to Jesus. My hope is in Him, and I will not give up.”

    Bring one long-standing concern to God: Pray about it again—not from desperation, but from renewed faith.

    Take a faith-filled step: Do something constructive today toward a God-honoring goal you have been postponing.

    Encourage someone: Remind someone who has been waiting for a breakthrough that they should continue trusting God.

    End with thanksgiving: Thank God for what He has already done and trust Him for what is still to come.

    *Prayer:*
    Heavenly Father,
    I thank You for the example of the woman who reached out to Jesus in faith.

    Lord Jesus, today I reach out to You with every need, burden, desire, and expectation in my heart. Give me faith that refuses to give up.

    Where I have been discouraged, renew my hope. Where I have experienced disappointment, restore my confidence. Where I have waited for a long time, give me patience and strength.

    Touch every area of my life that needs Your intervention. Touch my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and future.

    Lord, I surrender my timeline to You. Help me to trust Your wisdom and Your perfect timing.

    Give me courage to keep moving toward You even when the journey is difficult. Let my faith become stronger through every challenge.

    May my life become a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may my testimony encourage others to trust You.

    Jesus, I reach out to You today. Let Your grace be sufficient for me and let Your perfect will be accomplished in my life.

    In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

    *Blessing for today:*
    May the Lord strengthen your faith today. May He give you courage to keep reaching toward Him even when circumstances appear difficult.

    May divine intervention come into every area of your life that needs God's touch. May the Lord renew your hope, restore your joy, strengthen your family, establish your work, bless your ministry, and guide your steps.

    May every season of waiting produce deeper faith and greater dependence on God.

    May your faith produce a testimony that will encourage many others to seek Jesus.

    Your faith shall not fail.
    Your hope shall remain alive.
    Christ shall sustain you.
    Your testimony shall come according to God's perfect will.

    “IF I MAY TOUCH BUT HIS CLOTHES, I SHALL BE WHOLE.” — MARK 5:28

    Keep reaching out to Jesus. Keep believing. Keep trusting. Your story is still in God's hands.

    Good morning beloved and do have a blessed, faith-filled, peaceful, and testimony-producing day
    Shalom!

  • PROVERB OF THE DAY

    ( Proverbs 24)

    1. Do not be envious of evil men,
    Nor desire to be with them;

    2. For their heart devises violence,
    And their lips talk of troublemaking.

    3. Through wisdom a house is built,
    And by understanding it is established;

    4. By knowledge the rooms are filled
    With all precious and pleasant riches.

    5. A wise man is strong,
    Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength;

    6. For by wise counsel you will wage your own war,
    And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

    7. Wisdom is too lofty for a fool;
    He does not open his mouth in the gate.

    8. He who plots to do evil
    Will be called a schemer.

    9. The devising of foolishness is sin,
    And the scoffer is an abomination to men.

    10. If you faint in the day of adversity,
    Your strength is small.

    11. Deliver those who are drawn toward death,
    And hold back those
    stumbling to the slaughter.

    12. If you say, “Surely we did not know this,” Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it?
    He who keeps your soul, does He not know it?
    And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?

    13. My son, eat honey because it is good,
    And the honeycomb which is sweet to your taste;

    14. So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul;If you have found it, there is a prospect, And your hope will not be cut off.

    15. Do not lie in wait, O wicked man,
    against the dwelling of the righteous;
    Do not plunder his resting place;

    16. For a righteous man may fall seven times
    And rise again,
    But the wicked shall fall by calamity.

    17. Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not
    Let your heart be glad when he stumbles;

    18. Lest the LORD see it, and it displease Him,
    And He turn away His wrath from him.

    19. Do not fret because of evildoers,
    Nor be envious of the wicked;

    20. For there will be no prospect for the evil man;
    The lamp of the wicked will be put out.

    21. My son, fear the LORD and the king;
    Do not associate with those given to change;

    22. For their calamity will rise suddenly,
    And who knows the ruin those two can bring?

    23.These things
    also belong to the wise:

    It is not good to show partiality in judgment.

    24. He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,”
    Him the people will curse;
    Nations will abhor him.

    25. But those who rebuke the wicked will have delight,
    And a good blessing will come upon them.

    26. He who gives a right answer kisses the lips.

    27. Prepare your outside work,
    Make it fit for yourself in the field;
    And afterward build your house.

    28. Do not be a witness against your neighbor without cause,
    For would you deceive with your lips?

    29. Do not say, “I will do to him just as he has done to me;
    I will render to the man according to his work.”

    30. I went by the field of the lazy man,
    And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding;

    31. And there it was, all overgrown with thorns;
    Its surface was covered with nettles;
    Its stone wall was broken down.

    32. When I saw it, I considered it well;
    I looked on it and received instruction:

    33. A little sleep, a little slumber,
    A little folding of the hands to rest;

    34. So shall your poverty come like a prowler,
    And your need like an armed man.
    PROVERB OF THE DAY ( Proverbs 24) 1. Do not be envious of evil men, Nor desire to be with them; 2. For their heart devises violence, And their lips talk of troublemaking. 3. Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; 4. By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches. 5. A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; 6. For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety. 7. Wisdom is too lofty for a fool; He does not open his mouth in the gate. 8. He who plots to do evil Will be called a schemer. 9. The devising of foolishness is sin, And the scoffer is an abomination to men. 10. If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small. 11. Deliver those who are drawn toward death, And hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. 12. If you say, “Surely we did not know this,” Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds? 13. My son, eat honey because it is good, And the honeycomb which is sweet to your taste; 14. So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul;If you have found it, there is a prospect, And your hope will not be cut off. 15. Do not lie in wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; Do not plunder his resting place; 16. For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity. 17. Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not Let your heart be glad when he stumbles; 18. Lest the LORD see it, and it displease Him, And He turn away His wrath from him. 19. Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the wicked; 20. • What are you hiding?

    Let me ask you a difficult question:

    What are you hiding?

    Not from your friends.

    Not from your pastor.

    Not from your family.

    From everyone.

    Maybe you still attend church.

    Maybe you still lift your hands during worship.

    Maybe people still call you “Brother” or “Sister.”

    But there is a part of your life you desperately hope nobody discovers.

    Saints with Stain is not written to shame people.

    It is written to expose the danger of pretending that everything is fine when it isn't.

    Because healing cannot begin where honesty is forbidden.

    Sometimes freedom begins with admitting, “This is where I am.”

  • St. Bartholomew

    St. Bartholomew was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. He is the same person of Nathaniel mentioned in the Gospel of John. When Philip told Nathaniel about Jesus, "We saw the Messiah as told in scriptures, who is the Jesus of Nazareth", Nathaniel then told "Can anything good come from Nazareth". Then Philip introduced Nathaniel to Jesus and Jesus told about him "Israelite……..incapable of deceit". Bartholomew is mentioned as one of the disciples of Jesus in gospel of Mathew (10: 1 \- 4), in the gospel of Mark (3: 13\-19) and in the gospel of Luke (6: 12\-16). He is mentioned as Nathanael in the gospel of John (1: 45\-51). Eusebius of Caesarea and St. Jerome says that Bartholomew went on missionary work to India also. Then along with Apostle Jude, Bartholomew went to Armenia in the first century. By his missionary work, Bartholomew converted Polymius, the king of Armenia to Christianity. But the king's brother Astyages ordered the execution of Bartholomew. He was martyred in Armenia (Albanopolis) by crucifixion, head downward. St. Bartholomew and St. Jude are considered as the patrons of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

  • If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

    John 14:3 ɴᴋᴊᴠ

    There are two things that constitute the joy of a Christian, which are his strength on the road, and the object constantly before his heart. First, present communion and fellowship with God the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. Second, the hope of the coming of the Lord. And these two cannot be separated without loss to our souls, for we cannot have all the profit without both of them.

    If we are not looking for the coming of the Lord, there is nothing that can separate us in the same way from this present evil world; neither will Christ Himself be so much the object before the soul, nor yet shall we be able, in the same measure, to apprehend the mind and counsels of God about the world, if there be not this waiting for His Son from heaven.

    Again, if this hope be looked at apart from present communion and fellowship with God, we shall not have present power, the heart being enfeebled by the mind being too much occupied and overborne by the evil around. For we cannot be really looking for God’s Son from heaven without at the same time seeing the world’s utter rejection of Him, that the world itself is going wrong, its wise men having no wisdom, all is going on to judgment, the principles of evil are loosening all restraints. The soul thus becomes oppressed, and the heart sad; but if, through grace, the Christian is in present communion and fellowship with God, his soul stands steady, and is calm and happy before God, because there is a fund of blessing in Him which no circumstances can ever touch or change. The evil tidings are heard, the sorrow is seen, but the Christian’s heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord, and this carries him far above every circumstance.

  • A BACK-TO-SCHOOL BLESSING CAN BEGIN WITH YOU

    “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will reward them for what they have done.” — Proverbs 19:17

    As children prepare to return to school, there are many who have the desire to learn but lack the basic requirements they need to begin the term with dignity and hope.

    I am starting a Back-to-School Children’s Support Campaign to help provide school essentials such as shoes, books, pens, brooms, school supplies and other scholastic materials to children who need a helping hand.

    This is not only for Ugandans. It is an invitation to anyone, anywhere in the world, who believes that every child deserves an opportunity to learn.

    You may think your contribution is small, but to a child, a pair of shoes can mean confidence, a book can mean opportunity, and a pen can become a tool that writes a brighter future.

    Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” — Matthew 19:14

    Let us put faith into action. 🏽

    If you feel led to give school materials, sponsor a child, contribute financially, or partner with this vision, please INBOX me. Every contribution, big or small, will be received with gratitude and directed toward helping children get ready for school.

    One child. One opportunity. One act of kindness. One brighter future.

    May God bless every hand that chooses to give. 🏽
