• TRUST IN THE LORD AND DRAW STRENGTH FROM HIM

    There is only so far you can go by your strength, understanding, ability, or learning. To really go the distance you need help. We often get help from people, and that's great, but first and foremost we must seek to secure help from the Lord.

    Divine help is the only way you can truly live the fulfilling life that God has predestined for you without having to strive (Prov 10:22 NKJV). Human ability will always fall short at some point.

    I hope reading the following Passages helps you to intentionally lean on the strength that comes from God:

    My flesh and my heart may fail,
    BUT GOD IS THE STRENGTH OF MY HEART
    AND MY PORTION FOREVER. NIV

    The LORD is the everlasting God,

    TRUST IN THE LORD AND DRAW STRENGTH FROM HIM There is only so far you can go by your strength, understanding, ability, or learning. To really go the distance you need help. We often get help from people, and that's great, but first and foremost we must seek to secure help from the Lord. Divine help is the only way you can truly live the fulfilling life that God has predestined for you without having to strive (Prov 10:22 NKJV). Human ability will always fall short at some point. I hope reading the following Passages helps you to intentionally lean on the strength that comes from God: Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, BUT GOD IS THE STRENGTH OF MY HEART AND MY PORTION FOREVER. NIV Isaiah 40:28-31 28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will NOT grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 29 HE GIVES STRENGTH TO THE WEARY AND INCREASES THE POWER OF THE WEAK. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 BUT THOSE WHO HOPE IN THE LORD WILL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH.     Scripture:
    “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”
    — 2 Corinthians 4:17 (KJV)

    Reflection:

    2 Corinthians 4:17 carries a prophetic reversal:

    What you call affliction—
    Heaven calls a preparation.

    What you call delay—
    Heaven calls a process.

    What you call pain—
    Heaven calls a pathway.

    Paul uses three prophetic contrasts:

    • Light affliction → Weight of glory
    • Momentary trouble → Eternal glory
    • What hurts now → What crowns later

    This means:

    Your affliction is not your identity.
    Your affliction is not your end.
    Your affliction is not working against you—
    It is working for you.

    Pause and let this sink into your spirit:

    You are not breaking.
    You are being built.

    You are not losing.
    You are being lifted.

    Your present pressure is producing a future glory.

    Ask yourself:

    What am I calling “affliction” that God is calling “preparation”?
    Where have I overestimated my pain and underestimated His glory?
    What situation in my life needs to be seen through the eyes of eternity?
    What part of me is being strengthened through this season?

    Think deeply:

    God never wastes pressure.
    Everything you survived has a glory assignment attached to it.

    Every tear—
    Every battle—
    Every disappointment—
    Every delay—
    Every stretching—

    All of it is working, producing, shaping, preparing…
    a weight of glory.

    Pause again and ask:
    “Lord, what glory are You forming in me through this season?”

    1. Your Affliction Is Light — Compared to the Glory Coming

    “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared…” — Romans 8:18
    Your pain is real — but it is not final.

    The enemy magnifies affliction.
    God magnifies glory.

    Heaven is saying:
    “What is coming carries more weight than what you are facing.”

    Where must you shift your focus from affliction to glory?

    2. Your Affliction Is For a Moment — But Your Glory Is Eternal

    “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5
    Every affliction has an expiry date. Glory does not.

    Your night will not last forever.
    Your season will not stretch endlessly.
    Your story does not end in struggle.

    God is training you for something bigger than the moment you’re in.

    Where is God calling you to endure just a little longer?

    3. Your Affliction Is Working — Not Wasting

    “All things work together for good…” — Romans 8:28
    Pressure is not passive. It is productive.

    Affliction is not breaking you—
    It is building:

    • Stronger faith
    • Deeper wisdom
    • Sharper sensitivity
    • Greater compassion
    • Higher endurance
    • Stronger character
    • Broader capacity for glory

    The weight you feel now is strengthening your spirit to carry the weight of glory coming.

    What is God developing in you through this process?

    Say This:

    “My affliction is light, momentary, and working for my good. A greater weight of glory is rising in me.”

    Prayer:

    Father, thank You for the glory being produced in my life.
    Strengthen me to endure, trust, and rise above every affliction.
    Open my eyes to see purpose in the pressure.
    Let every trial work glory in me, every delay work maturity, and every battle work strength.
    I receive the weight of glory You are preparing for me.

    Identify one challenge you’re facing.
    Declare boldly over it:
