• MEANING OF SACKCLOTH AND ASHES.

    Sackcloth and ashes originates from biblical texts and is used to symbolize:
    MOURNING,(*Deep sorrow and grief)
    REPENTANCE, (*Desire to change)
    AND HUMILITY.(*Humbled to Father in shame)

    Wearing sackcloth, is uncomfortable and course fabric. Usually made from goats hair. Sitting in ashes were traditional practices during times of great spiritual and physical distress or showing their penance for sins.

    In the Bible, figures such as Job and the people of Israel used sackcloth and ashes to express their sorrow and seek forgiveness from Father. This showed a deep sense of remorse and the desire to turn away from their iniquity.

    These biblical stories of mourning, repentance, and humility show someone who is experiencing regret for transgressions by taking responsibility for their actions, and bowing down to the heavenly Father. Demonstrating the act of being nothing but dirty ashes. Burnt up and consumed with the trials and tribulation of this life.

    REPENTANCE OF NINEVEH
    (Jonah 3:5-6)
    When Jonah prophesies the destruction of Nineveh, the king and the people respond by donning sackcloth and sitting in ashes as a sign of repentance.

    THE PEOPLE OF NINEVEH BELIEVE

    Jonah 3:5-10 KJV

    1 SO THE PEOPLE OF NINEVEH
    Believed God,
    And proclaimed a fast,
    And put on SACKCLOTH,
    From the greatest of them
    Even to the least of them.

    6 FOR WORD CAME
    UNTO THE KING OF NINEVEH,
    And he arose from his throne,
    And he laid his robe from him,
    And covered him with SACKCLOTH,
    And sat in ASHES.

    7 AND HE CAUSED IT TO BE PROCLAIMED
    And published through Nineveh
    By the decree of the king and his nobles,
    Saying, Let neither man nor beast,
    Herd nor flock, taste any thing:
    Let them not feed, nor drink water:

    8 BUT LET MAN AND BEAST
    Be covered with SACKCLOTH,
    And cry mightily unto God:
    Yea, let them turn every one
    From his evil way, and from the violence
    That is in their hands.

    9 WHO CAN TELL IF GOD WILL TURN
    AND REPENT,
    And turn away from his fierce anger,
    That we perish not?

    10 AND GOD SAW THEIR WORKS,
    That they turned from their evil way;
    And God repented of the evil,
    That he had said
    That he would Do unto them;
    And he did it not.

    KING DAVID MOURNS
    (2 Samuel 12:16-17)
    After the death of his child, with Besthsheba, David fasts and mourns, emphasizing humility and sorrow. The child was born through adultery and murder. God did not let it live.

    THE DEATH OF DAVID’S SON

    2 Samuel 12:15-23 KJV

    15 AND NATHAN DEPARTED
    Unto his house.
    And the Lord struck the child
    That Uriah's wife bare unto David,
    And it was very sick.

    16 DAVID THEREFORE BESOUGHT GOD
    For the child;
    And David fasted,
    And went in,
    And lay all night upon the earth.

    17 AND THE ELDERS
    OF HIS HOUSE AROSE,
    And went to him,
    To raise him up from the earth:
    But he would not,
    Neither did he eat bread with them.

    18 AND IT CAME TO PASS
    On the seventh day,
    That the child died.
    And the servants of David
    Feared to tell him that the child was dead:
    For they said, Behold,
    While the child was yet alive,
    We spake unto him,
    And he would not hearken unto our voice:
    How will he then vex himself,
    If we tell him that the child is dead?

    19 BUT WHEN DAVID SAW
    That his servants whispered,
    David perceived that the child was dead:
    Therefore David said unto his servants,
    Is the child dead?
    And they said, He is dead.

    20 THEN DAVID AROSE FROM THE EARTH,
    And washed, and anointed himself,
    And changed his apparel,
    And came into the house of the Lord,
    And worshipped:
    Then he came to his own house;
    And when he required,
    They set bread before him,
    And he did eat.

    21 THEN SAID HIS SERVANTS UNTO HIM,
    What thing is this that thou hast done?
    Thou didst fast and weep for the child,
    While it was alive;
    But when the child was dead,
    Thou didst rise and eat bread.

    22 AND HE SAID,
    While the child was yet alive,
    I fasted and wept:
    For I said,
    Who can tell whether God
    Will be gracious to
    me, that the child may live?

    23 BUT NOW HE IS DEAD,
    Wherefore should I fast?
    Can I bring him back again?
    I shall go to him,
    But he shall not return to me.

    QUEEN ESTHER'S PLEA
    (Esther 4)
    Esther asks the Jews to fast and wear sackcloth as they seek deliverance from impending doom.

    ESTHER AGREES TO HELP THE JEWS

    Esther 4 KJV

    1 WHEN MORDECAI PERCEIVED
    All that was done,
    Mordecai rent his clothes,
    And put on sackcloth with ashes,
    And went out into the midst of the city,
    And cried with a loud and a bitter cry;

    2 AND CAME EVEN
    BEFORE THE KING'S GATE:
    For none might enter into the king's gate
    Clothed with sackcloth.

    3 AND IN EVERY PROVINCE,
    Whithersoever the king's commandment
    And his decree came,
    There was great mourning
    Among the Jews,
    And fasting,
    And weeping,
    And wailing;
    And many lay in sackcloth and ashes.

    4 SO ESTHER'S MAIDS
    And her chamberlains
    Came and told it her.
    Then was the queen exceedingly grieved;
    And she sent raiment to clothe Mordecai,
    And to take away his sackcloth from him:
    But he received it not.

    5 THEN CALLED ESTHER FOR HATACH,
    One of the king's chamberlains,
    Whom he had appointed
    To attend upon her,
    And gave him a commandment
    To Mordecai,
    To know what it was,
    And why it was.

    6 SO HATACH WENT FORTH
    TO MORDECAI
    Unto the street of the city,
    Which was before the king's gate.

    7 AND MORDECAI TOLD HIM OF ALL
    That had happened unto him,
    And of the sum of the money
    That Haman had promised
    To pay to the king's treasuries for the Jews,
    To destroy them.

    8 ALSO HE GAVE HIM THE COPY
    Of the writing of the decree
    That was given at Shushan
    To destroy them,
    To shew it unto Esther,
    And to declare it unto her,
    And to charge her that she should go
    In unto the king,
    To make supplication unto him,
    And to make request before him
    For her people.

    9 AND HATACH CAME
    And told Esther the words of Mordecai.

    10 AGAINST ESTHER
    SPAKE UNTO HATACH,
    And gave him commandment
    Unto Mordecai;

    11 ALL THE KING'S SERVANTS,
    And the people of the king's provinces,
    Do know, that whosoever,
    Whether man or women,
    Shall come unto the king
    Into the inner court,
    Who is not called,
    There is one law of his to put him to death,
    Except such to whom the king
    Shall hold out the golden sceptre,
    That he may live:
    But I have not been called to come in
    Unto the king these thirty days.

    12 AND THEY TOLD TO MORDECAI
    Esther's words.

    13 THEN MORDECAI COMMANDED
    To answer Esther,
    Think not with thyself
    That thou shalt escape
    In the king's house,
    More than all the Jews.

    14 FOR IF THOU ALTOGETHER
    Holdest thy peace at this time,
    Then shall there enlargement
    And deliverance
    Arise to the Jews from another place;
    But thou and thy father's house
    Shall be destroyed:
    And who knoweth whether thou art come
    To the kingdom for such a time as this?

    15 THEN ESTHER BADE THEM
    Return Mordecai this answer,

    16 GO, GATHER TOGETHER ALL THE JEWS
    That are present in Shushan,
    And fast ye for me,
    And neither eat nor drink three days,
    Night or day:
    I also and my maidens will fast likewise;
    And so will I go in unto the king,
    Which is not according to the law:
    And if I perish, I perish.

    17 SO MORDECAI WENT HIS WAY,
    And did according to all
    That Esther had commanded him.

    PROPHET JEREMIAH
    (Jeremiah 6:26)
    Jeremiah calls for mourning in Israel, invoking sackcloth as a sign of sorrow for sin.

    IMPENDING DESTRUCTION FROM THE NORTH

    Jeremiah 6:16-30 KJV

    16 THUS SAITH THE LORD,
    Stand ye in the ways, and see,
    And ask for the old paths,
    Where is the good way, and walk therein,
    And ye shall find rest for your souls.
    But they said,
    We will not walk therein.

    17 ALSO I SET WATCHMEN OVER YOU,
    Saying,
    Hearken to the sound of the trumpet.
    But they said,
    We will not hearken.

    18 THEREFORE HEAR,
    Ye nations, and know,
    O congregation,
    What is among them.

    19 HEARKEN, O EARTH:
    BEHOLD,
    I will bring evil upon this people,
    Even the fruit of their thoughts,
    Because they have not hearkened
    Unto my words, nor to my law,
    But rejected it.

    20 TO WHAT PURPOSE COMETH THERE
    To me incense from Sheba,
    And the sweet cane from a far country?
    Your burnt offerings are not acceptable,
    Nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.

    21 THEREFORE THUS SAITH THE LORD,
    BEHOLD,
    I will lay stumblingblocks
    Before this people,
    And the fathers and the sons together
    Shall fall upon them;
    The neighbour and his friend shall perish.

    22 THUS SAITH THE LORD,
    BEHOLD,
    A people cometh from the north country,
    And a great nation shall be raised
    From the sides of the earth.

    23 THEY SHALL LAY HOLD
    ON BOW AND SPEAR;
    They are cruel, and have no mercy;
    Their voice roareth like the sea;
    And they ride upon horses,
    Set in array as men for war against thee,
    O daughter of Zion.

    24 WE HAVE HEARD THE FAME THEREOF:
    Our hands wax feeble:
    Anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain,
    As of a woman in travail.

    25 GO NOT FORTH INTO THE FIELD,
    Nor walk by the way;
    For the sword of the enemy
    And fear is on every side.

    26 O DAUGHTER OF MY PEOPLE,
    Gird thee with sackcloth,
    And wallow thyself in ashes:
    Make thee mourning, as for an only son,
    Most bitter lamentation:
    For the spoiler shall suddenly
    Come upon us.

    27 I HAVE SET THEE FOR A TOWER
    And a fortress among my people,
    That thou mayest know and try their way.

    28 THEY ARE ALL GRIEVOUS REVOLTERS,
    Walking with slanders:
    They are brass and iron;
    They are all corrupters.

    29 THE BELLOWS ARE BURNED,
    The lead is consumed of the fire;
    The founder melteth in vain:
    For the wicked are not plucked away.

    30 REPROBATE SILVER
    Shall men call them,
    Because the Lord hath rejected them.

    THE ISRAELITES
    (Isaiah 15:3, Micah 1:10)
    Throughout the books of the prophets, sackcloth is often mentioned as part of national mourning or individual repentance.

    JUDGMENT ON ISRAEL AND JUDAH

    Micah 1 KJV

    1 THE WORD OF THE LORD
    That came to Micah
    The Morasthite in the days of Jotham,
    Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah,
    Which he saw concerning Samaria
    And Jerusalem.

    2 HEAR, ALL YE PEOPLE;
    Hearken, O earth,
    And all that therein is:
    And let the Lord God
    Be witness against you,
    The Lord from his holy temple.

    3 FOR, BEHOLD
    The Lord cometh forth
    Out of His place,
    And will come down,
    And tread upon
    The high places of the earth.

    4 AND THE MOUNTAINS
    Shall be molten
    Under him,
    And the valleys shall be cleft,
    As wax before the fire,
    And as the waters that are poured down
    A steep place.

    5 FOR THE TRANSGRESSION
    Of Jacob is all this,
    And for the sins of the house of Israel.
    What is the transgression of Jacob?
    Is it not Samaria?
    And what are the high places of Judah?
    Are they not Jerusalem?

    6 THEREFORE I WILL MAKE SAMARIA
    As an heap of the field,
    And as plantings of a vineyard:
    And I will pour down
    The stones thereof into the valley,
    And I will discover the foundations thereof.

    7 AND ALL THE GRAVEN IMAGES
    THEREOF
    Shall be beaten to pieces,
    And all the hires thereof
    Shall be burned with the fire,
    And all the idols thereof will I lay desolate:
    For she gathered it of the hire of an harlot,
    And they shall return to
    THE HIRE OF AN HARLOT.

    8 THEREFORE I WILL WAIL AND HOWL,
    I will go stripped and naked:
    I will make a wailing like the dragons,
    And mourning as the owls.

    9 FOR HER WOUND IS INCURABLE;
    For it is come unto Judah;
    He is come unto the gate of my people,
    Even to Jerusalem.

    10 DECLARE YE IT NOT AT GATH,
    Weep ye not at all:
    In the house of Aphrah
    Roll thyself in the dust.

    11 PASS YE AWAY,
    Thou inhabitant of Saphir,
    Having thy shame naked:
    The inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth
    In the mourning of Bethezel;
    He shall receive of you his standing.

    12 FOR THE INHABITANT OF MAROTH
    Waited carefully for good:
    But evil came down from the Lord
    Unto the gate of Jerusalem.

    13 O THOU INHABITANT OF LACHISH,
    Vind the chariot to the swift beast:
    She is the beginning of the sin
    To the daughter of Zion:
    For the transgressions of Israel
    Were found in thee.

    14 THEREFORE SHALT THOU GIVE
    Presents to Moreshethgath:
    The houses of Achzib
    Shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.

    15 YET WILL I BRING AN HEIR UNTO THEE,
    O inhabitant of Mareshah:
    He shall come unto Adullam
    THE GLORY OF ISRAEL.

    16 MAKE THEE BALD,
    And poll thee for thy delicate children;
    Enlarge thy baldness as the eagle;
    For they are gone into captivity from thee.

    The significance of sackcloth and ashes in the Bible, demonstrates moments of deep emotional strive and the desire to reconcile with The Father.

    The 2 witnesses come teaching
    sackcloth and ashes.They are described as prophetic figures who proclaim God's message during the end times.

    The Two Witnesses (Revelation 11:3-6)
    As having the power to prophesy for 1,260 days while clothed in sackcloth.(*shortened by Christ in Matthew 24:22-24/ Revelation 9 to 150 days. The 7 years given to Satan was deduced to those 5 months/140 days.
    The 2 Witnesses time was given in days and when shortened to days they are given about a week longer to prepare and warn the house of Isreal.)

    THE TWO WITNESSES

    Revelation 11 KJV

    1 AND THERE WAS GIVEN ME A REED
    Like unto a rod: and the angel stood,
    Saying, Rise, and measure
    The temple of God,
    And the altar,
    And them that worship therein.

    2 BUT THE COURT
    Which is without the temple leave out,
    And measure it not;
    For it is given unto the Gentiles:
    And the holy city shall they tread
    Under foot forty and two months.

    (*Shortened by Christ, Matthew24, to 5 months of Revelation 9, for the elections sake, so they could stand.)

    3 AND I WILL GIVE POWER
    Unto my TWO witnesses,
    And they shall prophesy
    A thousand two hundred
    And threescore days,
    Clothed in sackcloth.(*Repentance)

    4 THESE ARE THE TWO OLIVE TREES,
    And the two candlesticks
    Standing before the God of the earth.

    5 AND IF ANY MAN WILL HURT THEM,
    Fire proceedeth out of their mouth,
    And devoureth their enemies:
    And if any man will hurt them,
    He must in this manner be killed.

    6 THESE HAVE POWER TO SHUT HEAVEN,
    That it rain not
    In the days of their prophecy:
    And have power over waters
    To turn them to blood,
    And to smite the earth with all plagues,
    As often as they will.

    THE WITNESSES KILLED

    7 AND WHEN THEY SHALL HAVE FINISHED
    Their testimony,
    The beast that ascendeth out
    Of the bottomless pit(*Abbadon, Appolyon)
    Shall make war against them,
    And shall overcome them,
    And kill them.

    8 AND THEIR DEAD BODIES
    Shall lie in the street of the great city,
    Which spiritually is called
    Sodom and Egypt,
    Where also our Lord was crucified.

    9 AND THEY OF THE PEOPLE
    And kindreds
    And tongues
    And nations shall see their dead bodies
    Three days and an half,
    And shall not suffer their dead bodies
    To be put in graves.

    10 AND THEY THAT DWELL
    UPON THE EARTH
    Shall rejoice over them,
    And make merry,
    And shall send gifts one to another;
    Because these TWO prophets
    Tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

    THE WITNESSES RESURRECTED

    11 AND AFTER THREE DAYS AND AN HALF
    The spirit of life from God
    Entered into them,
    And they stood upon their feet;
    And great fear fell upon them
    Which saw them.

    12 AND THEY HEARD A GREAT VOICE
    From heaven saying unto them,
    Come up hither.
    And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud;
    And their enemies beheld them.

    13 AND THE SAME HOUR WAS THERE
    A great earthquake,
    And the tenth part of the city fell,
    And in the earthquake
    Were slain of men SEVEN THOUSAND:
    And the remnant
    Were affrighted,
    And gave glory to the God of heaven.

    (*The 7000 fallen angels that take over the government's of the world with their new world order will die forever.)

    14 THE SECOND WOE IS PAST;
    And, behold,
    The third woe cometh quickly.

    Sackcloth is a symbol of humility and sorrow, indicating their role as prophets of repentance in a time of great tribulation of the apostasy of God's people. The sackcloth worn by the Two Witnesses provokes their somber mission, calling for the repentance of the nations and pointing out their eminent demise.

    The 2 serve as messengers of God's judgment, calling people to repentance. They are granted the power to perform miraculous signs, such as shutting the sky to prevent rain and turning waters into blood, emphasizing their authority as God's representatives.

    After their testimony, they are killed, signifying the rejection of their message. Like that of Jesus message they will lay in the street 3 days and half. They are later resurrected and taken up to heaven, symbolizing the ultimate vindication of God's

Then was the queen exceedingly grieved; And she sent raiment to clothe Mordecai, And to take away his sackcloth from him: But he received it not. 5 THEN CALLED ESTHER FOR HATACH, One of the king's chamberlains, Whom he had appointed To attend upon her, And gave him a commandment To Mordecai, To know what it was, And why it was. 6 SO HATACH WENT FORTH TO MORDECAI Unto the street of the city, Which was before the king's gate. 7 AND MORDECAI TOLD HIM OF ALL That had happened unto him, And of the sum of the money That Haman had promised To pay to the king's treasuries for the Jews, To destroy them. 8 ALSO HE GAVE HIM THE COPY Of the writing of the decree That was given at Shushan To destroy them, To shew it unto Esther, And to declare it unto her, And to charge her that she should go In unto the king, To make supplication unto him, And to make request before him For her people.🤥✡️ 9 AND HATACH CAME And told Esther the words of Mordecai. 10 AGAINST ESTHER SPAKE UNTO HATACH, And gave him commandment Unto Mordecai; 11 ALL THE KING'S SERVANTS, And the people of the king's provinces, Do know, that whosoever, Whether man or women, Shall come unto the king Into the inner court, Who is not called, There is one law of his to put him to death, Except such to whom the king Shall hold out the golden sceptre, That he may live: But I have not been called to come in Unto the king these thirty days. 12 AND THEY TOLD TO MORDECAI Esther's words. 13 THEN MORDECAI COMMANDED To answer Esther, Think not with thyself That thou shalt escape In the king's house, More than all the Jews. 14 FOR IF THOU ALTOGETHER Holdest thy peace at this time, Then shall there enlargement And deliverance Arise to the Jews from another place; But thou and thy father's house Shall be destroyed: And who knoweth whether thou art come To the kingdom for such a time as this? 15 THEN ESTHER BADE THEM Return Mordecai this answer, 16 GO, GATHER TOGETHER ALL THE JEWS That are present in Shushan, And fast ye for me, And neither eat nor drink three days, Night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; And so will I go in unto the king, Which is not according to the law: And if I perish, I perish. 17 SO MORDECAI WENT HIS WAY, And did according to all That Esther had commanded him. 👉PROPHET JEREMIAH (Jeremiah 6:26) Jeremiah calls for mourning in Israel, invoking sackcloth as a sign of sorrow for sin. IMPENDING DESTRUCTION FROM THE NORTH Jeremiah 6:16-30 KJV 16 THUS SAITH THE LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, And ask for the old paths, Where is the good way, and walk therein, And ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. 17 ALSO I SET WATCHMEN OVER YOU, Saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken. 18 THEREFORE HEAR, Ye nations, and know, O congregation, What is among them. 19 HEARKEN, O EARTH: BEHOLD, I will bring evil upon this people, Even the fruit of their thoughts, Because they have not hearkened Unto my words, nor to my law, But rejected it. 20 TO WHAT PURPOSE COMETH THERE To me incense from Sheba, And the sweet cane from a far country? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, Nor your sacrifices sweet unto me. 21 THEREFORE THUS SAITH THE LORD, BEHOLD, I will lay stumblingblocks Before this people, And the fathers and the sons together Shall fall upon them; The neighbour and his friend shall perish. 22 THUS SAITH THE LORD, BEHOLD, A people cometh from the north country, And a great nation shall be raised From the sides of the earth. 23 THEY SHALL LAY HOLD ON BOW AND SPEAR; They are cruel, and have no mercy; Their voice roareth like the sea; And they ride upon horses, Set in array as men for war against thee, O daughter of Zion. 24 WE HAVE HEARD THE FAME THEREOF: Our hands wax feeble: Anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain, As of a woman in travail. 25 GO NOT FORTH INTO THE FIELD, Nor walk by the way; For the sword of the enemy And fear is on every side. 26 O DAUGHTER OF MY PEOPLE, Gird thee with sackcloth, And wallow thyself in ashes: Make thee mourning, as for an only son, Most bitter lamentation: For the spoiler shall suddenly Come upon us. 27 I HAVE SET THEE FOR A TOWER And a fortress among my people, That thou mayest know and try their way. 28 THEY ARE ALL GRIEVOUS REVOLTERS, Walking with slanders: They are brass and iron; They are all corrupters. 29 THE BELLOWS ARE BURNED, The lead is consumed of the fire; The founder melteth in vain: For the wicked are not plucked away. 30 REPROBATE SILVER Shall men call them, Because the Lord hath rejected them. 👉THE ISRAELITES (Isaiah 15:3, Micah 1:10) Throughout the books of the prophets, sackcloth is often mentioned as part of national mourning or individual repentance. JUDGMENT ON ISRAEL AND JUDAH Micah 1 KJV 1 THE WORD OF THE LORD That came to Micah The Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, Which he saw concerning Samaria And Jerusalem. 2 HEAR, ALL YE PEOPLE; Hearken, O earth, And all that therein is: And let the Lord God Be witness against you, The Lord from his holy temple. 3 FOR, BEHOLD The Lord cometh forth Out of His place, And will come down, And tread upon The high places of the earth. 4 AND THE MOUNTAINS Shall be molten Under him, And the valleys shall be cleft, As wax before the fire, And as the waters that are poured down A steep place. 5 FOR THE TRANSGRESSION Of Jacob is all this, And for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Are they not Jerusalem? 6 THEREFORE I WILL MAKE SAMARIA As an heap of the field, And as plantings of a vineyard: And I will pour down The stones thereof into the valley, And I will discover the foundations thereof. 7 AND ALL THE GRAVEN IMAGES THEREOF Shall be beaten to pieces, And all the hires thereof Shall be burned with the fire, And all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: For she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, And they shall return to THE HIRE OF AN HARLOT. 8 THEREFORE I WILL WAIL AND HOWL, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, And mourning as the owls. 9 FOR HER WOUND IS INCURABLE; For it is come unto Judah; He is come unto the gate of my people, Even to Jerusalem. 10 DECLARE YE IT NOT AT GATH, Weep ye not at all: In the house of Aphrah Roll thyself in the dust. 11 PASS YE AWAY, Thou inhabitant of Saphir, Having thy shame naked: The inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth In the mourning of Bethezel; He shall receive of you his standing. 12 FOR THE INHABITANT OF MAROTH Waited carefully for good: But evil came down from the Lord Unto the gate of Jerusalem. 13 O THOU INHABITANT OF LACHISH, Vind the chariot to the swift beast: She is the beginning of the sin To the daughter of Zion: For the transgressions of Israel Were found in thee. 14 THEREFORE SHALT THOU GIVE Presents to Moreshethgath: The houses of Achzib Shall be a lie to the kings of Israel. 15 YET WILL I BRING AN HEIR UNTO THEE, O inhabitant of Mareshah: He shall come unto Adullam THE GLORY OF ISRAEL. 16 MAKE THEE BALD, And poll thee for thy delicate children; Enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; For they are gone into captivity from thee. 🔥The significance of sackcloth and ashes in the Bible, demonstrates moments of deep emotional strive and the desire to reconcile with The Father. 👉The 2 witnesses come teaching sackcloth and ashes.They are described as prophetic figures who proclaim God's message during the end times. The Two Witnesses (Revelation 11:3-6) As having the power to prophesy for 1,260 days while clothed in sackcloth.(*shortened by Christ in Matthew 24:22-24/ Revelation 9 to 150 days. The 7 years given to Satan was deduced to those 5 months/140 days. The 2 Witnesses time was given in days and when shortened to days they are given about a week longer to prepare and warn the house of Isreal.) THE TWO WITNESSES Revelation 11 KJV 1 AND THERE WAS GIVEN ME A REED Like unto a rod: and the angel stood, Saying, Rise, and measure The temple of God, And the altar, And them that worship therein. 2 BUT THE COURT Which is without the temple leave out, And measure it not; For it is given unto the Gentiles: And the holy city shall they tread Under foot forty and two months. (*Shortened by Christ, Matthew24, to 5 months of Revelation 9, for the elections sake, so they could stand.) 3 AND I WILL GIVE POWER Unto my TWO witnesses, And they shall prophesy A thousand two hundred And threescore days, Clothed in sackcloth.(*Repentance) 4 THESE ARE THE TWO OLIVE TREES, And the two candlesticks Standing before the God of the earth. 5 AND IF ANY MAN WILL HURT THEM, Fire proceedeth out of their mouth, And devoureth their enemies: And if any man will hurt them, He must in this manner be killed. 6 THESE HAVE POWER TO SHUT HEAVEN, That it rain not In the days of their prophecy: And have power over waters To turn them to blood, And to smite the earth with all plagues, As often as they will. THE WITNESSES KILLED 7 AND WHEN THEY SHALL HAVE FINISHED Their testimony, The beast that ascendeth out Of the bottomless pit(*Abbadon, Appolyon) Shall make war against them, And shall overcome them, And kill them. 8 AND THEIR DEAD BODIES Shall lie in the street of the great city, Which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, Where also our Lord was crucified. 9 AND THEY OF THE PEOPLE And kindreds And tongues And nations shall see their dead bodies Three days and an half, And shall not suffer their dead bodies To be put in graves. 10 AND THEY THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH Shall rejoice over them, And make merry, And shall send gifts one to another; Because these TWO prophets Tormented them that dwelt on the earth. THE WITNESSES RESURRECTED 11 AND AFTER THREE DAYS AND AN HALF The spirit of life from God Entered into them, And they stood upon their feet; And great fear fell upon them Which saw them. 12 AND THEY HEARD A GREAT VOICE From heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; And their enemies beheld them. 13 AND THE SAME HOUR WAS THERE A great earthquake, And the tenth part of the city fell, And in the earthquake Were slain of men SEVEN THOUSAND: And the remnant Were affrighted, And gave glory to the God of heaven. (*The 7000 fallen angels that take over the government's of the world with their new world order will die forever.) 14 THE SECOND WOE IS PAST; And, behold, The third woe cometh quickly. 👉Sackcloth is a symbol of humility and sorrow, indicating their role as prophets of repentance in a time of great tribulation of the apostasy of God's people.

  • My First Album - The Jeremiah Experience

    Each song is more of a cinematic alternative style, hard and dark in its lyrical expression.

    A compilation of some of the most profound worship songs inspired by the life and writings of the Prophet Jeremiah that reflect his role as a leader during the chaotic period of the late seventh and early sixth centuries BC, where he delivered God's messages to His obstinate people. Jeremiah articulated that his dialogue with God was a source of joy and nourishment for his soul.

    Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts. Jeremiah 15:16

    The prophet Jeremiah engages in raw and honest conversations, fervently seeking God's awareness and calling for justice as he endures suffering due to his unwavering faith in proclaiming God's truth. His candid expression of pain and the sacrifices he makes for his obedience stand out as the most profound among all the prophets of the Old Testament.

    Burning Light is my first lyrical interpretation of Jeremiah 15:10-14, and I hope you step into "The Jeremiah Experience" of worshiping God. Put on your headphones, turn up the volume, stand to your feet with your eyes closed, and prepare to love Abba Father in a state of deepest worship.

    *Burning Light: Jeremiah 15:16*

    Alas, my mother, for you gave me birth, a man with whom the whole land strives and contends! I have neither lent nor borrowed, yet everyone curses me.

    When darkness comes, this painful, lonely calling burns deep in my soul. When shall I find comfort? When shall I see you, Abba, my Father?
    In my deep despair, I wish I had never been born. I have done no wrong to provoke personal enemies—yet, they oppose and curse me for simply speaking God's truth.

    When darkness comes, this painful, lonely calling burns deep in my soul. When shall I find comfort? When shall I see you, Abba, my Father?

    Yet my Lord said to me, “Surely I will deliver you for a good purpose; surely I will make your enemies pleadwith you in times of disaster and times of distress. Can a man break iron—iron from the north—or bronze?

    When darkness comes, this painful, lonely calling burns deep in my soul. When shall I find comfort? When shall I see you, Abba, my Father?
    In my darkness, you have come; in my darkness, you bring the light.

    I am assured that you will deliver and care for me, ensuring my future vindication. You will make me strong and invincible against my attackers.

    When darkness comes, this painful, lonely calling burns deep in my soul. When shall I find comfort? When shall I see you, Abba, my Father?

    You promise me, my Lord, that their wealth and treasures you will give as plunder, without charge, because of all their sins.You enslave my enemies, for your anger will kindle a fire that will burn against them. In my darkness, you have come; in my darkness, you bring the light; in my darkness, you deliver me by the light.

In my darkness, you have come; in my darkness, you bring the light; in my darkness, you deliver me by the light.

    Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    TUESDAY AUGUST 4, 2O26.
    " PATRIA POTESTAS"

    '...you received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing son-ship]...’ Romans 8:15 NKJV

    PAUL’S AUDIENCE would have understood his use of Roman adoption in teaching the benefits we receive as redeemed members of God’s family. A Roman father held absolute right and control, legally entitled ‘patria potestas’, over his children at any age. Roman adoption was a two-step process that transferred children from one patria potestas to another. 1) Emancipation. This step included a symbolic sale where the natural father twice ‘sold’ and ‘bought back’ his child, and a third where he didn’t buy them back, ending his paternal rights. 2) Vindication. Here the adoptive father presented his case for adoption to a Roman magistrate, who legally transferred the child to his patria potestas. Likewise, we have been transferred from satan’s grip to our heavenly Father’s blessed patria potestas! The benefits of Roman adoption were Paul’s chief focus in Romans chapter eight: a) The adopted person lost all rights in their old family and gained a new father, plus all rights of a legitimate member of their new family. b) They became heir to their new father’s estate. When there were other siblings, they became joint-heirs together. c) All their debts were completely cancelled, legal records of their history were expunged; the past had no effect on their new life. d) Seven citizens witnessed all legal adoptions. If the adoptee’s legitimacy was ever challenged, each witness could testify to their legitimate standing. Thank God, ‘The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children’ (Romans 8:16 NIV). No less than the Holy Spirit Himself validates your membership in God’s family!

    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices" (2 CORINTHIANS 2:11).*_
    *In His book, _Uncommon Friends,_ James D. Newton (1905 - 1999) related the story of Thomas A. Edison, who was working on a light bulb, which took a team of men 24 hours to complete. When he finished, he gave it to a young boy to carry upstairs. The boy held it nervously and mistakenly dropped it at the top of the stairs. The entire team took 24 more hours to make another bulb. Finally, tired and ready for a break, Edison was prepared to have his bulb carried up the stairs. He handed it to the same young boy who had dropped the first one. That was a demonstration of true forgiveness.*
    *Apostle Paul, in today's text, showed similar forgiveness to an errant member of the Corinthian church. The young man was involved in the egregious sin of sleeping with his father's wife. News of this incest and the associated scandal so grieved the apostle that he cancelled his planned trip to them and wrote a stern rebuke, instructing them to excommunicate the offender. With time, when the discipline had had the expected effect of godly sorrow and repentance on both the incestuous fellow and the church, the apostle recommended that the man be restored fully to fellowship. The penitent offender needed the forgiveness and acceptance of the church to assuage his agony and recover his spiritual confidence.*
    *This narrative highlights a balanced blend of chastisement and charity. Apostle Paul reasoned that abandoning the excommunicated offender, even after his repentance, would cause him further torture and give Satan a chance to hijack the affair; "...for we are not ignorant of his devices", he said. Many believers seem to be ignorant of Satan's devices in this regard. Very often, a fallen Christian is left to rot on the island of banishment. Many such forgotten ones would have traced their way back home to Calvary and church, but for the hostile attitude of the believers around them.*
    *If God, Apostle Paul, and the Corinthian church could forgive the repentant incestuous backslider, who are we to keep such fallen brethren away from the means of grace? Let us give Satan no advantage over the church.*
    ```Key Verse:``` _*"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid" (Matthew 5:14).*_

    Light is very important because it helps us see and find our way. When it is dark, we can feel lost or scared, but light makes everything clearer and safer.

    Just like a small light can brighten a whole room, God's light help us find hope and peace even in tough times. For believers, this light shows the way to follow God's love and truth, guiding us through any challenge we may face.

    Light has an amazing power to reveal what is hidden and guide people safely through the dark. Jesus calls us to be that light in the world. Just like a light helps us see in the dark, believers are like lights showing kindness and love to everyone around them.

    *When we help others, share love, and talk about God's goodness, we are being the light in the dark world. God wants us to shine bright and make others feel happy and loved, just like a light makes the environment brighter.*

    *Being a light does not require doing something extraordinary. It means living out the love of Jesus in your daily life; being kind, being honest, being helpful, and sharing His message of love. Every act of kindness you show is like a little spark that points others to the light of Christ.*

    *PRECEPTS ON CHURCH DISCIPLINE*

    *TEXT:* 2 CORINTHIANS 2:6-11.

    6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
    7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
    8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.
    9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
    10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
    11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

    *Timeless Truth:*_"But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons"_ (Hebrews 12:8).

    *INTRODUCTION*

    Church discipline is a biblical expression of love, holiness, and restoration. A church without discipline for erring members is not a church of Christ, but a mere association of religious people. God disciplines those that err and He expects us to follow suit.
    *"But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons"* (Hebrews 12:8).
    It is not designed to destroy offenders, but to correct, restore and preserve the purity of Christ's church. In this passage, Apostle Paul instructed the Corinthian believers on how to handle a repentant offender. He emphasized that discipline must be fair. Repentance and forgiveness must be genuine and believers must be vigilant against Satan's schemes. Every church should maintain a proper balance between firmness against sin and compassion toward the repentant. The attitude of those on discipline should also reflect humility and teachability according to the Word of God.

    *1. Proportionateness in Discipline*

    a. The offender committed immorality with his step mother. That was a heinous sin with no sign of remorse from the culprit and no discipline from the church leadership, until Apostle Paul rebuked them of the gravity of the sin. The man was eventually, excommunicated from the church (1 Corinthians 5). The most serious sin next to physical murder attracted the most serious discipline of excommunication. The discipline must be commensurate with the evil or wrongs that need to be judged or corrected. Paul the apostle declared that the punishment already administered by the majority was sufficient. This teaches that discipline must always be proportionate to the offence and should never become an instrument of revenge or bitterness. There are disciplines that only demand rebuke while there are some that will have more severe punishment. The punishment is to show God's displeasure with sin and to wake up the backslider or sinner from spiritual slumber.
    b. The first is to determine the gravity of the sin and what we want the punishment to achieve, which is majorly restoration. Once the purpose of correction has been achieved, prolonged discipline only produces unnecessary pain. God expects church leaders to administer discipline with wisdom, fairness and love, remembering that the ultimate goal is restoration rather than condemnation. This person was restored to membership and fellowship when the purpose of the excommunication was fulfilled. In fact, the church was not willing to shorten the punishment until Apostle Paul passionately, intervened. True and right attitude of repentance and restitution should command total and timely forgiveness and restoration, especially when the tendency to revert to such things have been crucified and destroyed.

    *Question*

    Do I administer correction with love and fairness or do I prolong discipline beyond what is necessary?

    *2. Pardon for Deserving*

    a. After genuine repentance comes genuine forgiveness. The man had the right attitude towards discipline. Some church members are averse to church discipline. Instead of enduring the pain, they decide to go to other churches where their sins would be overlooked. Such are not heaven bound. This man had originally separated himself from the Gentile sinners and identified with believers in Corinth. But the discipline put him in isolation from the only set of people he was closed with, i.e. the believers. Obviously, it is expected that there would be loneliness, isolation and sorrow. Since he refused to go back to the world, but endured the punishment, that was a commendable and expected attitude.
    b. Paul the apostle urged the church to forgive, comfort, and reaffirm their love for the disciplined brother so that he would not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. True Christian discipline always opens the door for restoration. Refusing to forgive a repentant believer contradicts the grace that God has freely extended to us in Christ. Forgiveness heals wounds, restores fellowship and reflects the heart of the gospel. The same thing happens when we are offended by fellow believers. We should be magnanimous in grace and forgiveness when there is genuine repentance.

    *Question*

    Am I willing to forgive and restore those who sincerely repent, just as Christ has forgiven me?

    *3. Projects of the Devils*

    a. Satan is never idle or passive. He has his own mapped out agenda, plans, projects for the saints and he always looks out for loopholes and times of carelessness through which he strikes at the least prepared time against the saints. Apostle Paul warned that unnecessarily prolonging the discipline and failure to forgive could give Satan an advantage over the church. The devil exploits bitterness, division, resentment and unforgiveness to weaken Christian fellowship.
    b. While discipline protects the church from sin, unforgiveness opens the door to Satan's destructive work. Believers must therefore, remain spiritually discerning, resisting every scheme of the enemy by walking in love, humility and reconciliation.

    *Question*

    Is there any unforgiveness or bitterness in my heart that could give the devil an opportunity in my life or church?

    *Prayer Points*

    1.Lord, grant me the wisdom to uphold biblical discipline with justice, love and compassion .
    2.Father, give me a forgiving heart that willingly restores every genuinely repentant believer .
    3.Give me the right attitude of humility, patience and teachability when I am rebuked or put under discipline .
    4.Lord, deliver Your church from bitterness, division and every scheme of Satan .

    *TOPIC:*
    SET YOUR HEART ON ETERNAL THINGS.

    *THE MESSAGE:*
    The youth of the 21st century is preoccupied with worldly affairs. Today's text urges the believers to shift their focus from worldly pursuits to eternal values. It warns that loving the world and its fleeting pleasures hinders one from experiencing God's love and grace. Loving the world and mundane things is an indication that the love of the Father is absent. Earthly things are temporary, while eternal things last forever. To truly walk with God and be used by Him, young people must let go of materialism and worldly entanglements, setting their hearts on things above. You can achieve this through constant study of the word, a life of prayer, and fellowship with the brethren. On what have you set your heart? Evaluate!

    *REFLECTION:*
    The world and it's desires are temporary.

    *PRAYER:*
    Lord Jesus, help me to pursue eternal things. Amen.

    ED.ii. TRULY BORN AGAIN

    "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" - 2 Corinthians 5:17

    There are a few essential points when it concerns being born again.

    1) There must be a confession of sins. In other words: you must regret your sins. You have to acknowledge that you have sinned against God. An example is King David's prayer which shows his remorse: 'Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love… Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin… Against You, You only, have I sinned' (Psalm 51:1-4).

    2) You have to know what Jesus Christ did at Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. Jesus Christ is the only One who can take sin away. 'The blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin' (1 John 1:7).

    3) There must be a real change in your heart when you are born again. This change is so great that you can say like 2 Corinthians 5:17 that you are created again by God. A whole new life has begun.

    A radical change

    These are the essential points to be truly born again. It is not only by believing that you come to heaven; nor do you get to heaven because you go to church. The evil one also believes that Jesus is the Son of God. There are so many things people say which make them think they are born again. My question is: 'what happened when you gave your life to Jesus'? To truly be born again this radical change has to take place in your life. This change makes you turn your back on your old self. If this is not yet the case for you, pray the sinner's prayer with all your heart to God.

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    EP.i. Evening Prayer

    I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. ⏤ Psalm 3:5

    Prayer is aligning ourselves with the purposes of God. ⏤ E. Stanley Jones

    To whom, Lord, shall we go but to You? You have the words of eternal life! You alone know our needs—and You alone can meet them. You alone can give us guidance, wisdom, help, comfort in sorrow, forgiveness for sin, and eternal life. We bow at Your feet tonight, knowing that there is no need we have that You cannot meet. You can provide for our bodily needs. You can supply everything we need for our mental and spiritual lives.

    This has been a profitable day for us because You have blessed us. We have received new mercies from Your hand. We have had food and clothing, and many of life’s good things. For these common mercies, we thank You. We thank You for all the good that has come to us through our human friends—their sympathy and kindness. We thank You for the love and trust in our home, for all that our home means to us. It is a shelter from life’s storms. We can turn away from the world’s insincerity, self-interest, envy, and bitterness, and always find within our own door—love that is true, deep, unselfish, enriching, and comforting. Here we are sure of each other’s love. We do not need to be on guard as we do when we are outside. So we thank You for the blessing of our home, for its companionship, its joy, its comfort, and the healing of its love.

    Help us to make our home holier, more loving, truer and purer, more full of inspiration—the best place in the world to grow. Now while we kneel together as a family around the family altar in our evening prayer, we ask for Your blessing. Abide with us. Be our guest tonight. Bless us in our sleep. Prepare us for a new day, and give us new blessings when it dawns. We ask all in the name of our Redeemer. Amen.

God wants us to shine bright and make others feel happy and loved, just like a light makes the environment brighter.* *Being a light does not require doing something extraordinary. It means living out the love of Jesus in your daily life; being kind, being honest, being helpful, and sharing His message of love. Every act of kindness you show is like a little spark that points others to the light of Christ.* 🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥🍥 ```🅿️rayer:``` _*Jesus, help me to shine Your light in the world around me so others can see and enjoy Your love and truth.*_ 🙏🏽 ```📖 Further Reading:``` *Philippians 2:13-16* A Light In The Dark https://dailymanna.app// *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#SincereMilk4thAugust2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS] [03/08, 9:36 pm] Pastor Attah: *MEDITATIONS ON DAILY ⓂANNA* TUESDAY, 4TH AUGUST, 2026. *PRECEPTS ON CHURCH DISCIPLINE* *TEXT:* 2 CORINTHIANS 2:6-11. 6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many. 10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; 11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. *Timeless Truth:*_"But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons"_ (Hebrews 12:8). *INTRODUCTION* Church discipline is a biblical expression of love, holiness, and restoration. *1. Proportionateness in Discipline* a. *Question* Do I administer correction with love and fairness or do I prolong discipline beyond what is necessary? *2. Pardon for Deserving* a. *Question* Am I willing to forgive and restore those who sincerely repent, just as Christ has forgiven me? *3. Projects of the Devils* a. *Question* Is there any unforgiveness or bitterness in my heart that could give the devil an opportunity in my life or church? *Prayer Points* 1.Lord, grant me the wisdom to uphold biblical discipline with justice, love and compassion 🙏. 2.Father, give me a forgiving heart that willingly restores every genuinely repentant believer 🙏. 3.Give me the right attitude of humility, patience and teachability when I am rebuked or put under discipline 🙏. 4.Lord, deliver Your church from bitterness, division and every scheme of Satan 🙏. *HYMN:* Lower and lower *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOHN 8-9. Loving the world and mundane things is an indication that the love of the Father is absent. Earthly things are temporary, while eternal things last forever. To truly walk with God and be used by Him, young people must let go of materialism and worldly entanglements, setting their hearts on things above. ED.ii. TRULY BORN AGAIN "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" - 2 Corinthians 5:17 There are a few essential points when it concerns being born again. A radical change These are the essential points to be truly born again. If this is not yet the case for you, pray the sinner's prayer with all your heart to God. https://www.theblessingdevotional.com 2. Evening Prayer for today. EP.i. Evening Prayer I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. ⏤ Psalm 3:5 Prayer is aligning ourselves with the purposes of God. ⏤ E. Stanley Jones To whom, Lord, shall we go but to You? Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/29/evening #taptapstudio #youdevotion.

    THE UNMASKING: WHEN PEOPLE THINK THEY KNOW YOU (PART 2) —

    DIVINE VINDICATION AND THE SHOCK OF THE UNVEILING

    Grace, apostolic authority, and the uncompromising fire of the Holy Ghost be multiplied to your spirit. In our previous session, we surgically dealt with the agonizing curse of familiarity and the necessity of dying to the need for human validation. We established that God hides His sharpest weapons to protect them from premature exposure.

    Today, we are advancing into the prophetic dimension of your actual revealing. Nature abhors a vacuum, and a season of hiddenness must eventually give birth to a season of manifestation. But how you handle the unmasking determines whether you will steward the glory of God or shipwreck your destiny. Prepare your spirit—it is time to step out of the shadows properly.

    The Temptation of Premature Exposure

    "Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready... For neither did his brethren believe in him." — John 7:5-6

    Before you can experience divine unmasking, you must survive the temptation to unveil yourself. In John 7, the brothers of Jesus—who did not even believe in His mandate—tried to manipulate Him into showcasing His ministry to the world. They essentially told Him, "If you are really who you say you are, prove it publicly."

    This is the exact trap the enemy sets for emerging apostolic voices. When you are carrying a massive mandate but feeling overlooked, the flesh will scream at you to advertise your anointing, to manipulate your way onto platforms, and to forcefully defend your calling. Notice Jesus’ response: "My time is not yet come, but your time is alway ready." The flesh is always in a hurry to be seen. The Spirit waits for the appointed time of the Father. If you unmask yourself, you will have to sustain yourself. But if you wait for God to pull back the veil, He will underwrite your entire mandate with His backing.

    The Shock of the Apostolic Unveiling

    "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus." — Acts 4:13

    When the season of your hiddenness is over and God finally unmasks you, it will send shockwaves through the religious and carnal systems that tried to contain you. The Sanhedrin looked at Peter and John and saw what they had always seen: ordinary, uneducated fishermen. They thought they knew them.

    But when the unmasking occurred, the manifestation was so irrefutable that it shattered their carnal assumptions. The Scriptures say, "they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus." True divine vindication does not happen because you finally convinced your critics with a clever argument; it happens when the raw, undeniable power of the resurrected Christ erupts out of your life. When God vindicates you, your critics will not praise you—they will be forced to acknowledge the Christ who has taken up residence inside of you.

    Stewarding the Unmasked Glory

    "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me..." — Galatians 1:15-16

    Here is the most critical test of Christ Discipleship: Why do you want to be unmasked?

    If you are waiting for God to reveal you so that you can finally rub it in the faces of those who doubted you, you are still operating in the flesh. You are still too carnal to be trusted with the platform of the Kingdom. The unmasking is never about you getting your revenge; it is about God getting His glory. The Apostle Paul understood this mystery: God separated him and called him so that He could reveal His Son in him.

    The ultimate goal of your unmasking is not to show the world how gifted, anointed, or powerful you are. The goal is that when the veil is pulled back, you are entirely invisible, and only the Lord Jesus Christ is seen reigning from the throne of your life.

    The Altar of the Appointed Time

    Are you willing to let God determine the timeline of your revealing? You must bring your ambition, your frustration, and your desire to prove your critics wrong and lay them on the altar of absolute surrender. Stop trying to kick open doors that the Holy Ghost has deliberately locked for your protection. Wait on the Lord. The unmasking is imminent, but it requires a dead man to carry the glory.

    Prophetic Decree and Prayer of Divine Vindication

    "Father, in the supreme, sovereign Name of Jesus Christ, I bring my soul to the altar of Your perfect timing. I completely repent for every time my flesh has tried to force a premature manifestation. I crucify my desire to be seen, known, and celebrated by men. I surrender my need to prove my critics wrong! Lord, burn out every trace of carnal ambition in my heart. I ask for the grace to remain hidden until the exact moment it pleases You to unmask me. And when that day comes, Father, I decree that they will not see me—they will only see the resurrected Christ operating through me! Prepare my vessel to steward Your raw glory without touching it. In Jesus' matchless Name!"

    THE UNMASKING: WHEN PEOPLE THINK THEY KNOW YOU

    Grace, apostolic authority, and the uncompromising fire of the Holy Ghost be multiplied to your spirit. I know the silent agony of carrying a massive Kingdom mandate while the people around you treat you like you are completely ordinary. I understand the frustration of being misjudged, overlooked, and boxed into the limitations of your past.

    Today, the Spirit of God is addressing a profound spiritual warfare that occurs when the call of God on your life collides with the carnal perceptions of men. We are dismantling the need for human validation and preparing your spirit for divine vindication. Prepare yourself, for the season of your hiddenness is about to produce a radical manifestation.

    The Curse of Familiarity

    "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him." — Mark 6:3

    People will always attempt to lock you in the prison of their last memory of you. When Jesus walked into Nazareth carrying the absolute fullness of the Godhead, His own community could only see a woodworker. They reduced the Savior of the world to His earthly resume.

    Familiarity is a demonic veil. The enemy uses the people closest to you to project an outdated version of your identity onto your current season, hoping to abort your apostolic mandate. When people think they know you, they will consistently underestimate the deposit of the Holy Ghost inside of you. But hear the Word of the Lord: You are not who you used to be, and you are not who they say you are. You are a new creation, carrying a weight of glory they do not yet have the spiritual capacity to comprehend.

    The Wilderness of Hiddenness

    "And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? ... I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart..." — 1 Samuel 17:28

    When David stepped onto the battlefield carrying the solution for the nation, his own brother misjudged his prophetic courage as carnal pride. When people think they know you, they will frequently misinterpret your spiritual passion as fleshly ambition.

    But God will deliberately hide you in plain sight. He will allow you to be misunderstood, ignored, and marginalized. Why? Because the wilderness of hiddenness is where the flesh is crucified. God hides His sharpest arrows in the quiver until the exact moment of the battle. If God is allowing you to be misunderstood right now, it is a sign of His mercy. He is protecting you from the poison of premature exposure, ensuring that when you are finally revealed, you will not seek your own glory, but His alone.

    The Apostolic Unmasking

    "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God." — Romans 8:19

    The word "manifestation" in the Greek is apokalupsis—which literally means an unmasking, an unveiling, a revealing of what has been completely hidden.

    Creation is not waiting for another talented speaker; it is waiting for the unmasking of dead men and women who have totally surrendered their souls to Christ. God did not hide you to abandon you; He hid you to incubate you. But here is the critical key of discipleship: To be properly unmasked by God, you must completely surrender the urge to unmask yourself.

    The Altar of Human Validation

    You must lay down the exhausting machinery of self-vindication. Stop trying to prove to your family, your peers, or your critics that God has called you. Human validation is a cheap, toxic substitute for divine vindication.

    Are you exhausted from trying to make people see your worth? It is time to let that flesh die. When you stop fighting for your reputation and fully surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, God Himself will orchestrate the moment of your unmasking. When He finally pulls back the veil, they will no longer see the old you—they will come face to face with the resurrected Christ operating through you.

    Prophetic Decree and Prayer of Vindication

    "Father, in the supreme, chain-breaking Name of Jesus Christ, I bring my soul to the altar today. I repent for the exhausting cycle of trying to prove my calling to people who are committed to misunderstanding me. I willingly surrender my need for human validation. I forgive those who have boxed me into my past, and I refuse to be offended by the curse of familiarity. Lord, I embrace the wilderness of hiddenness. Crucify my flesh. Strip me of my desire for premature exposure. I ask that You alone would be my vindicator. Prepare me in the secret place, so that when the season of my unmasking arrives, the world will see nothing of my flesh, and absolutely everything of Your Glory! In Jesus' matchless Name!"

    THE HOUR OF JUDGMENT.

    Many people tremble at the thought of judgment because they see it only as a scene of condemnation and fear. But the judgment of God is not merely about exposing the wicked—it is also about the vindication of the righteous. It is Heaven's declaration that God's people, who have trusted in His grace and remained faithful to Him, have been justified through Christ and are heirs of His eternal kingdom.

    The prophet Daniel revealed this beautiful truth when he declared that judgment would be given "in favour of the saints of the most High" (Daniel 7:22). What an amazing promise! The judgment is not designed to terrify those who have surrendered their lives to Jesus. Instead, it confirms before the universe that God is just, merciful, and righteous in saving those who have accepted His grace.

    In the days of Solomon, the principle of judgment was clearly stated:
    "Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked... and justifying the righteous." (1 Kings 8:32)
    God does not arbitrarily choose some to be saved while condemning others to be lost. Every person is morally responsible for his or her own destiny. Heaven respects the freedom of human choice. God invites, pleads, convicts, and empowers, but He never forces. The judgment simply reveals the choices we have made throughout our lives.

    The final judgment is not the moment when God decides whether He will accept or reject us. Rather, it is the time when God confirms the decision we ourselves have made concerning Christ—a decision demonstrated by the fruits of our lives.

    Our destiny is being shaped today.

    Those who abide in Christ have their vindication already assured. Those who reject Him remain under condemnation. Jesus Himself described the judgment scene in Matthew 25:31–46, where both the sheep and the goats stand before Him. The difference was revealed by the evidence of their lives.

    The apostle Paul solemnly reminds us:
    "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ..." (2 Corinthians 5:10)
    Every thought, every motive, every action, every hidden deed is known in Heaven. Nothing escapes the eyes of the eternal Judge.
    Yet amid this solemn reality shines the glorious hope of the gospel:

    We are saved by grace.

    We are justified by faith.

    We are judged by works.

    Our works do not earn salvation. Salvation is God's free gift purchased through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. But our works reveal whether our faith is genuine. They testify whether Christ truly dwells within us.
    The standard in the judgment is not human opinion, culture, popularity, or tradition. The standard is God's holy moral law—the divine constitution of His government—summarized in the Ten Commandments. As James declares, we shall be judged by "the law of liberty."

    The heavenly tribunal is now in session.
    Cases are being carefully investigated.
    Names are being reviewed.

    Decisions are being made concerning those who will inherit the everlasting kingdom and dwell in the New Earth.

    But praise God—we are not left to stand alone!
    Jesus Christ is our High Priest. Jesus Christ is our Advocate. Jesus Christ is our Righteousness.
    Soon the solemn words of Revelation 22:11–12 will echo throughout the universe:

    "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still... and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still... And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me."

    The final verdict will soon be pronounced.
    The King of kings will return in glory.
    And one question remains:
    Where will your name be found?

    Will it remain written in the Book of Life?
    Will Jesus confess your name before His Father and before the holy angels?
    The promise still stands:
    "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels." — Revelation 3:5

    Beloved, now is the time to surrender completely to Christ. Now is the time to repent, to overcome sin through His power, and to walk daily in obedience born out of love and faith.
    The Judge of all the earth is also the Savior who died for you. The One who examines the records bears the scars of Calvary in His hands.
    Choose Jesus today. Live by His grace. Walk in His truth. Remain faithful until the end.

    For very soon, the heavenly court will close, the trumpet will sound, and the King will appear in majesty and glory.

    May your name be found written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Amen.
    Daily Bible Lesson. In the days of Solomon, the principle of judgment was clearly stated: "Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked... and justifying the righteous." TODAY IS SYMBOLIC: THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE ARK THAT RESTED ON THE SEVENTEETH DAY OF THE SEVENTH MONTH GENESIS 8:4

    Grace, apostolic power, and the multiplied peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be upon your spirit. As disciples of the living Word, we must understand that the Holy Spirit does not waste dates, numbers, or geographical locations in Scripture. The Bible is not a mere historical ledger; it is an active, living, prophetic blueprint.

    Today, we are unlocking an ancient portal of divine revelation hidden within the timeline of the Genesis flood. We are examining the profound eschatological and personal mystery of the Seventeenth Day of the Seventh Month. Prepare your spirit, for this is a summons out of turbulence and into the radical dimension of divine rest.

    The Architecture of Prophetic Timing

    "And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat." — Genesis 8:4

    To the carnal mind, this is just a date on a calendar. To the apostolic disciple, this is a masterpiece of divine orchestration. In biblical numerology, the number seven (7) represents divine completion, perfection, and the finished work of God. The number seventeen (17) is universally recognized in the Spirit as the number of complete victory and the overcoming of the enemy.

    Consider the profound prophetic parallel: Centuries later, Jesus Christ—our ultimate Ark of Salvation—would rise from the dead in absolute victory over sin and death on the exact same date on the Hebrew calendar: the seventeenth day of the month of Nisan (which was originally the seventh month of the civil calendar before the Exodus).

    God is decreeing a mystery: The seventeenth day of the seventh month is the day the turbulence stops. It is the day the victory is secured. It is the day the Ark rests. It is the day you and me enters our season of rest round about.

    The Death of Striving and the Mountains of Ararat

    For months, Noah and his family were tossed by the violent, chaotic floodwaters of judgment. They had no steering wheel, no compass, and no sail. They were entirely at the mercy of God's sovereign navigation.

    The name Ararat carries the prophetic meaning of "the curse reversed" or "holy ground." Notice that the Ark did not rest in a valley; it rested upon the high places.

    When your soul is perfectly surrendered to the Lordship of Christ, God does not just deliver you from the flood—He elevates you above it. But elevation requires the absolute death of fleshly striving. You cannot navigate the Ark of your own destiny. You must take your hands off the wheel. The chaos of your current season is not meant to drown you; it is the very water God is using to lift you higher, provided you remain hidden in Christ.

    The Altar of Absolute Surrender

    Many believers are exhausted because they are trying to paddle an Ark that God intended them merely to ride in. Are you still fighting for control? Are you still operating in the exhausting machinery of human intellect and fleshly anxiety?

    The mystery of this specific day is an apostolic invitation into Divine Rest. Rest in the Kingdom is not inactivity; it is Holy Ghost-directed activity born out of absolute trust. It is the complete surrender of your timeline, your resources, and your vindication to the Master.

    God is announcing to you today: The floodwaters are receding. The season of chaotic transition is coming to an end. It is time for your spirit to rest upon the high places.

    Prophetic Decree and Prayer of Consecration

    "Father, in the supreme, conquering Name of Jesus Christ, I decree that my season of chaotic wandering and fleshly striving ends TODAY. I yield my mind, my will, and my emotions entirely to Your navigation. I ask that the Ark of my life, my family, and my destiny would come to rest upon the high places of Your presence. I strip myself of every carnal agenda. Let the floodwaters of Your Spirit wash away my fleshly ambitions and elevate me to the Mountains of Ararat—the place of the reversed curse and complete victory. I surrender my soul to Your rest. Consume me, Lord, until only Christ remains! In Jesus' mighty Name!"

    Beloved, if your spirit bears witness to this apostolic decree and you are ready to completely surrender the steering wheel of your life to the Holy Ghost, type AMEN in the comments below as a public seal of your consecration.
