War is unfolding in the Middle East. As Israel and Iran clash, pray for God’s merciful hand of restraint amid the bloodshed, and for the advance of his purposes through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Ask the Lord to bring true peace through repentance and faith in Christ. Pray that both Israelis and Iranians would see in Jesus the only Savior and the true hope of the world.
Lift up specific prayers:
• For missionaries and gospel workers in and around both nations to walk wisely and boldly.
• For Christian believers in Israel and Iran to stand firm in faith and abound in love.
• For the church to shine brightly and bear witness to Christ in the face of fear and confusion.
• For many to be awakened by the gospel, even in the shadow of war.
• For the protection of innocent life, especially among the household of faith (Gal. 6:10).
