"Where in the world is your faith taking you?" After His resurrection, and before He ascended back to heaven, Jesus told His disciples to teach the lessons they have learned while living and walking with Him. As a modern day follower of Christ, my personal experience of becoming homeless is the reason I have chosen to discuss the niche topics of homeless recovery and emotional healing with you. Lack of a place to call home was the nightmare I didn't see coming, but after many years of healing, the RECOVERY aspects of ending homelessness have become the grand adventure that I am here to share with you!! There ARE solutions to homelessness, so the question I ask today is rooted in the fact that my faith in Jesus took me into the territory of American homelessness so He could TEACH ME how to implement the solutions He has in mind for ALL of us. My new studio space is prepped and ready for me to share my artsy, crafty social studies guides with you, and I invite you to join me as I show you how Jesus led me into, then through, and then out of the ugly reality of having no place to belong. The topic can be frightening to think about and the conversations can be awkward... but, the need to help people is more important than our fear of the discussion. So, let's talk about these things!!
