We pray for the next open door while overlooking the provision, opportunities, and lessons God has given us today. But faith is not just about waiting for God to do something new. It’s also about being faithful with what He has already entrusted to us. 🙏 LEARN TO TRUST HIS TIMING. Not every season is meant for rushing forward. Some seasons are for prayer, preparation, spiritual growth, discernment, and learning to depend more fully on Jesus Christ. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us that there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. We must learn to appreciate where God has us today while trusting Him with where He is leading us tomorrow. 🌿 GRATITUDE BEFORE GREATER RESPONSIBILITY. Before asking God for more, let us faithfully steward what we have already received. Before becoming anxious about what has not happened, let us thank Him for what He has provided. Before seeking every answer from people, let us seek the Lord through prayer and His Word. Colossians 3:17 reminds us to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. 💛 A GENTLE REMINDER ABOUT PATIENCE AND RESPECT. We all have responsibilities, commitments, and seasons that require our time, prayer, and discernment. We cannot always respond to every request immediately, and a delayed response does not automatically mean a lack of love, concern, or willingness to serve. We must learn to extend grace to one another, respect one another’s responsibilities, and avoid placing unnecessary pressure on others. Even in ministry, we need wisdom to recognize what God is asking us to do now, what requires preparation, and what must be entrusted to Him in prayer. We are called to serve faithfully, not to carry the burden of being everyone’s source of provision. 🙏 TO EVERY PASTOR, MINISTRY LEADER, AND SERVANT OF CHRIST: If God has placed a vision in your heart, continue seeking Him for wisdom, direction, provision, and discernment. Pray over the vision. Study His Word. Remain faithful in the responsibilities already entrusted to you. Seek godly counsel, and allow the Lord to direct your steps. Remember: God is the source. Jesus is the center. We are His servants. No individual is the ultimate source of your calling, provision, or direction. God can use people to encourage, support, and strengthen one another, but our dependence must ultimately remain on Him. THE SCARLET CORD "This oath you made us swear will not be binding on us unless, when we enter the land, you have tied this scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you have brought your father and mother, your brothers and all your family into your house." - Joshua 2:17-18 Rahab was a prostitute and lived in Jericho. Joshua was on his way to take the city, just as God had commanded him. Joshua sent two spies to the city of Jericho to explore it. The king of Jericho heard about this and sent men to search for these two spies. Rahab took the spies into her house, not to sleep with them, but because she feared the God of Israel. She hid them on the roof. The two spies made an oath to Rahab. They told her to hang the red cord from the window. It was the same cord she had used to let the spies down the wall to so they could flee. The red cord was the sign that she lived in that house and that would secure her and her family's life. Although she was a prostitute, she did exactly what the men told her because she believed in the God of these spies. A small act with major consequences It was not just a rope, no it was a scarlet cord. Not blue, yellow or brown, but a red cord. We see obedience to God in the small things. 'To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams' (1 Samuel 15:22). Rahab might have thought: why should this cord be red? Many people today think: why do you necessarily have to accept Jesus to be saved? Do not forget that this small act by Rahab would have major consequences. Her life and that of her family were at stake. Rahab did not understand the important symbolic meaning of the red cord. Yet she did what she was told. The red cord stands for the shed blood of Jesus. A SWORN DECLARATION OF BLESSING For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee (Hebrews 6:13-14). God’s covenant with Abraham was more than a promise—it was a sworn declaration of blessing. The Bible says that because God could not swear by anyone greater, He swore by Himself. That means the blessing was backed by God's very nature and integrity. It wasn’t just a good intention; it was a covenant of certainty. This blessing wasn’t for Abraham alone. Galatians 3:29 declares, “...If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” You’re the inheritor of the Abrahamic blessings. You’re the reason God made that promise to Abraham—to reach you through Christ. This blessing is active in your life today, and it means increase, favour, fruitfulness, and spiritual authority. God’s blessing on you is irreversible and unstoppable. That’s why no curse, opposition, or circumstance can prevail against you. You’ve been empowered to succeed and multiply. This is something much bigger than yourself. It’s not just about your needs being met; it’s about being a channel of divine flow. He said to Abraham, “...I will bless you...And you shall be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2 NKJV). You’re blessed to be a blessing. You’ve been blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). Don’t live like someone trying to be blessed. Live as one already blessed, walking in divine partnership with God and dispensing blessings. Speak blessings. Declare your increase. Expect favour and dispense favour. Multiply your resources and use them to advance the Kingdom. It’s your heritage in Christ. Hallelujah! NO SUCH THING AS LACK But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We observed in our previous study that being born again, you’ve been brought into a place of unending, boundless, and exhaustless riches. Christ is your source. He’s brought you into a “large place” (Psalm 18:19), a place of wealth untold. That’s the reality. Therefore, lack should have no place in your life as a child of God. There’s no such thing as shortage for the one who lives by the mentality of the Spirit. Think beyond this world about everything concerning your life. Keep your mindset aligned with your divine nature. You’re a child of God; therefore, your thoughts, speech, and expectations must reflect that reality. It must reflect in the excellence of your health, the excellence of your finances and everything else about your life. Don’t allow others to measure you by their limitations. The one who thinks lack assumes everyone else is in lack. The one who feels pain assumes everyone must feel the same pain. But you’re different. Therefore, think differently, speak differently and live differently. You’re from above; you live in Christ, and in Christ there’s no lack. Refuse to reason from the realm of need; you came from the realm of abundance. You function from heaven’s supply. The Lord Jesus didn’t die for nothing. He brought us into sonship. He made us heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. That means all things are yours now. See and speak from this divine position of advantage and abundant grace. There’s money for you everywhere. There’re resources laid up for you to execute the assignments God has committed to you. The doors are open; the supply is endless. Act like the Word is true, because, indeed, it is! It says, “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing” (Psalm 34:10 NIV). Hallelujah! Instead of considering how to honour God and help others with his abundance, the man focused on accumulating wealth for his personal comfort. He planned to build bigger barns, store his possessions, and enjoy life for many years. However, he forgot one important truth: we may make plans for tomorrow, but only God holds tomorrow in His hands. God called him a fool, not because he was wealthy, but because he had prepared for earthly comfort without preparing his soul for eternity. Beloved, there is nothing wrong with working hard, building a business, saving money, investing wisely, or planning for your family's future. The danger begins when we become so occupied with material possessions that we neglect God, our spiritual lives, and our responsibility to others. You can have money in the bank but lack peace in your heart. You can own a beautiful house but neglect the spiritual condition of your home. You can become successful in business and still fail to fulfil God's purpose for your life. True riches are not measured only by what you possess, but also by your relationship with God, the love you demonstrate, and the eternal value of your life. Letting go isn’t always as simple as opening your tightly-clenched fist, although deliverance sometimes is immediate. For example, some people quit smoking cold-turkey, while others chew nicotine gum for years! Old habits die hard, and letting go of resentment means: a) Recommitting to your decision as many times as old thoughts of unforgiveness pop into your head. b) Making peace with the space formerly occupied by bitterness, regret and thoughts of revenge until the Holy Spirit takes up full-time occupancy in the new digs! c) Releasing old, toxic relationships and people whose only purpose is keeping your old wounds fresh. When people change around unchanging people, it makes them aware of their own need for change, and it scares them. d) Just as your salvation was immediate yet you have to walk out your sanctification, the release of your forgiveness is immediate but you have to walk out your healing. e) Living a life free from the burden of resentment and the toxicity of unforgiveness is a choice followed by a series of choices. It is a true story where mercy and judgment met and it produced grace and hope, present and eternal, for mankind which cannot be improved upon by man in this world and in the world to come. It is a story which no finite mind can ever think of conceiving. The effect of it effectively neutralises and destroys all the consequences, known and unknown to man, of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. For those who accepted and believed, it brought man from the lowest depth of dungeon and hell and brought him to sit at the table of God as children and joint heirs with Christ for eternity. Eternally, happy is he who believes with the faith of a child and better never to be born is anybody who hears to doubt, reject or scorn. *1. Core Comparison of Righteousness* a. The fact that righteousness is an indispensable requirement for mankind to be in tune with normal human living and pleasing God is not in question. Without righteousness, man will be reduced to animalistic behaviours that will even make him worse than animals. Many of the vices of modern man are even strange to the animal kingdom. Animals generally, protect, nurture or coexist within their groups by instinct, whereas humans can betray, exploit, abandon or scheme against their own children, partners and kin for greed or ego. Humans possess a conscience and the knowledge of good and evil, yet they frequently choose corruption, deceit and malice despite knowing the harm it causes. b. The interim arrangement God made to enforce some sort of righteousness was by writing moral laws in the conscience of man, giving Israel his Law through Moses for the moral direction of man. Obeying those laws, both moral and ceremonial, was counted as righteousness. It is a righteousness that is void of grace and additional divine inputs or support. Man must strive by his will power to obey the laws though human nature is accustomed to evil. The man that can discipline himself and deliberately do all his best to live it out will be called the righteous then. That life of obedience to the Law would qualify him to be called righteous. *"The man that doeth them shall live in them"*. However, that righteousness was just for the interim. It could not please God and it was far below the divine standard of righteousness. It falls short of the standard and the glory of God. In order to live that life, God must give divine enablement to the weak and depraved nature through recreation and transformation of the heart. What would move the surgical hand of God to do that? What would be a leveller that would be affordable to all so as to get God's precious righteousness? Faith. Faith in Christ. Period. *"The Law is not of faith"*. The Law looks at human efforts, faith looks at divine help through Christ. Faith is what is affordable by all. *Question* Do you put your faith in Jesus so as to get the righteousness of Christ? *2. Cancellation of Curses for the Redeemed* a. Curse is all about limitations in life. If a student fails an examination, he is given limitations that he cannot move to a higher class. If an employee cannot pass his promotional interview, he is given a limitation that he cannot move to the next level. This is normal and not necessarily wickedness. There is a divine curse to every disobedience. It is called the "curse of the Law". This curse has no mercy and is not discriminatory. It can come from God directly or through agents of curses. Jesus does not only give His righteousness which makes someone a new creature, but also breaks the power of curses or limitations in the life of that person since it is unrighteousness that attracts the curses. He did this once and for all to all those who will put their faith in Him as their Deliverer and Saviour. It is left for individuals to key into it through repentance from all unrighteousness and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Faith in Christ is all about confidence in the power of Christ to deliver from all sins and curses and make a person totally holy. *"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree"*. *Question* Do you put your faith in Christ to redeem you from all curses and limitations known and unknown to you? *3. Consequences of Christ's Redemption* There are two consequences mentioned here. One, *"that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ"*. The blessings of Abraham include earthly blessings and prosperity. It includes security and protection from enemies. It includes family blessings (Genesis 12:2,3). It includes being a great blessing to others. It is left to each believer to key into it by faith. The second blessing has not yet been enjoyed by Israel as they will only enjoy it during the millennial reign of Christ. The Gentiles who believe in Jesus are enjoying it now. *"That we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith"*. The promise of the Spirit includes the spirit of adoption. It includes Holy Ghost power for all God's children. It includes the gifts of the Holy Spirit. In fact, it includes the Holy Spirit coming to reside on the earth in the heart of all believers just like Jesus came to reside on earth before going back to heaven. It is a mighty mother of all blessings which the merely religious or mere having the righteousness of the Law cannot attract. *Question* Are you enjoying the blessings of the Holy Spirit yet or are you still clinging to your religion or good works without Christ? *Prayer Points* 1.Praise God for the Redemption story that brings the greatest blessing to man at no cost because Jesus paid for it 🙏. 2.Confess that your faith is only in Jesus and pray that your faith in Him will never fail, but will increase 🙏. 3.Ask for revelation and cancellation of any stubborn limitations in your life by the blood of Jesus🙏. 4.Pray for the merely religious in the church that they will repent from self righteousness and submit to the righteousness of Christ by faith alone 🙏. *HYMN:* Wonderful Grace of Jesus Christ. *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* LUKE 23-24. Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 13 October 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar. But I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lᴏʀᴅ, because He has dealt bountifully with me. (Psalm 13:5) Today’s verse describes a positive spiritual development that God wants to bring about in us.  We know from the Bible and from our experiences with God that He is kind. In Psalm 103:11, we read, “For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him.” And in Psalm 107:1, it says, “Oh give thanks to the Lᴏʀᴅ, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”  The deep awareness of God’s goodness produces in us a firm trust in Him. We believe that He will not abandon us and will carry us through all our difficulties. Even if we do not yet see how things will turn out, we trust in the help of our God. We are convinced that He makes no mistakes and intends only good for us.  Confidence in God in everyday life brings forth in our hearts great joy over His salvation. Although we don’t know when and how the problems will be resolved, we are not crushed by the situation. Instead, we rejoice in the Lord, who will never put our faith to shame.  The joy in God and in His future salvation prompts us to sing songs of praise. We praise our God, who has given us true joy in our hearts and will reward our trust in Him in His time. We praise Him for all His blessings that He has shown us and will continue to bestow upon us. *||RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL||* *||💜|| UNDERSTAND WHO IS BEING ADDRESSED |💜||* *|| Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law... (Romans 3:19). ||* Tuesday 13th, October. Pastor Chris One of the most important principles for understanding the Scriptures is recognising contexts and target audience. Some become confused in their study of God's Word when they read verses without considering their actual context, audience, and purpose. Not everything written in Scripture applies to the new creation. The Apostle Paul demonstrated this clearly in Romans chapter three. After quoting several passages that described the condition of those under the Law, he made a remarkable statement: “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law...” (Romans 3:19). Did you notice that? The Law spoke to those who were under its jurisdiction. Paul wanted this understanding to be clearly established, and it’s vital because many have read the declaration, “...There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10), and assumed it applies equally to everyone today, including those who are born again. But Paul wasn't describing the new creation in Christ. He was presenting the Law's verdict on those who lived under the old covenant. The context makes this unmistakably clear. When you understand who is being addressed, the Scriptures become clearer and more meaningful. You learn to distinguish between the Law and grace, between the Old Testament and the New Testament, and between what was spoken concerning man's condition apart from Christ and what is true of those who are now in Christ. This prevents confusion and helps you to rightly comprehend and apprehend God's truth. The Bible is a progressive unveiling of God's redemptive plan. Therefore, it's important to follow the flow of revelation in the Scriptures. Don't isolate a verse from its context and build your understanding around it. Study the whole counsel of God and allow Scripture to interpret Scripture. The Bible says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). As a child of God, always study and receive the Word in the light of your identity in Christ and the realities of the new creation. That's how God's Word produces faith, confidence and victories in your life. *||PRAYER||* *|| Dear Father, thank you for the light of your Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit who guides me into all truth.
