• EVERYONE REJECTED THE FOUR LEPERS...

GOD CHOSE THEM TO ANNOUNCE THE MIRACLE.

    Israel was starving.

Food had become so scarce that people were dying inside the city.

    Hope was gone.

    Outside the city gate...

    Sat four lepers.

    They were outcasts.

    Unwanted.

    Unclean.

    Forgotten.

    They couldn't enter the city.

    They couldn't join the enemy.

    They had nowhere to belong.

    Then one of them said,

"Why sit here until we die?"

    It was a simple question.

    But it changed everything.

They decided to walk toward the Syrian camp.

    They weren't expecting a miracle.

They were simply refusing to die without taking one step of faith.

    What they didn't know...

Was that God had already gone ahead of them.

The Lord caused the Syrian army to hear the sound of horses and a mighty army.

    Terrified, they fled.

    Leaving behind...

    Their food.

    Their gold.

    Their silver.

    Their clothing.

    Everything.

    When the four lepers arrived...

    The camp was completely empty.

    The people everyone avoided...

Were the first to experience God's provision.

    At first they ate.

    Then they hid some treasure.

    But suddenly they stopped.

    They said,

    "We are not doing right.

This is a day of good news...

And we are keeping it to ourselves."

So they returned to the city...

And announced that God had performed a miracle.

    The entire nation was saved...

Because four forgotten men refused to remain where they were.

    Here's the deeper revelation.

    Your greatest limitation...

Does not limit God's greatest purpose.

The world may call you forgotten.

God may call you His messenger.

    LESSON

God often chooses the overlooked to reveal His glory.

    The people others ignore...

May become the people God uses most.

    SCRIPTURE ENCOURAGEMENT

"God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong."

    — 1 Corinthians 1:27

  • EVERYONE SAW A RIVER...

GOD SAW A STEP OF FAITH.

The Jordan River was overflowing its banks.

    On the other side...

    Was the Promised Land.

Israel had waited for this moment for over forty years.

    But there was one problem.

    There was no bridge.

    No boats.

    No way across.

Then God gave Joshua an unexpected command.

Tell the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant to walk toward the river.

    Notice something.

God didn't stop the river first.

He asked them to move first.

Imagine standing at the edge of a flooding river.

    Holding the Ark.

Knowing one more step would put your feet into rushing water.

    Human logic says,

    "Wait until the water stops."

    Faith says,

    "Step because God has spoken."

    The priests obeyed.

The moment their feet touched the edge of the Jordan...

    The waters stopped.

    A path opened.

And an entire nation walked across on dry ground.

    Here's the deeper revelation.

At the Red Sea, God parted the waters before Israel moved.

At the Jordan, God waited until they moved.

    Why?

Because God was teaching a new generation that faith is not merely believing His promises...

    It is acting on them.

Some miracles begin only after the first step of obedience.

    LESSON

Delayed obedience often delays what God wants to do.

Faith doesn't wait for perfect conditions.

    Faith moves when God speaks.

    SCRIPTURE ENCOURAGEMENT

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

    — Proverbs 3:5–6

  • EVERYONE SAW AN EMPTY JAR...

GOD SAW A HEART THAT WAS STILL AVAILABLE.

The prophet Elijah had just been fed by ravens.

Now the brook had dried up.

God sent him to a widow in Zarephath.

    But when Elijah arrived...

    He didn't find abundance.

He found a widow gathering sticks.

She had only a handful of flour.

    A little oil.

    And one final meal.

    She told Elijah,

"I'm gathering a few sticks to prepare one last meal for my son and me. After that... we will die."

    Imagine that.

    She wasn't planning for tomorrow.

She didn't believe she had one.

Then Elijah spoke words that made no human sense.

    "Do not be afraid.

First make a small loaf for me...

Then make something for yourself and your son.

For this is what the Lord says:

'The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the Lord sends rain on the land.'"

    She had a choice.

Hold tightly to what little she had...

Or trust the God she had just heard about.

    She chose faith.

    And that changed everything.

    Day after day...

    The flour never ran out.

    The oil never failed.

Not because the widow had much...

But because the God who made the promise is always faithful.

    Here's the deeper revelation.

The miracle didn't begin when the jar stayed full.

It began the moment an empty-handed widow trusted God's Word.

God often asks us to trust Him before we see what He's going to do.

    Faith doesn't wait for evidence.

    Faith responds to God's promise.

    LESSON

God's greatest miracles often begin where human resources come to an end.

When we place our little in His hands, He proves that He is more than enough.

    SCRIPTURE ENCOURAGEMENT

"And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

    — Philippians 4:19

If you remember one thing, let it be this...

  • EVERYONE ABANDONED THE PROPHET...

BUT ONE FOREIGNER STOOD UP TO SAVE HIM.

    His name was Ebed-Melech.

He was an Ethiopian servant in the palace of King Zedekiah.

During a dark time in Judah, the prophet Jeremiah warned the people to turn back to God.

    But instead of listening...

    The leaders rejected him.

They threw Jeremiah into a muddy cistern and left him there to die.

    Everyone saw his suffering.

    But most people did nothing.

    Then one man stepped forward.

    Ebed-Melech.

    He was not a priest.

    He was not a prophet.

He was not a powerful leader.

He was simply someone who feared God and cared about what was right.

He went before the king and said:

"This man is going to die."

Because of his courage, the king commanded him to rescue Jeremiah.

Ebed-Melech gathered ropes and old clothes.

He lowered them into the pit and carefully pulled Jeremiah out.

The same man others had thrown away...

Was lifted because one person chose compassion.

But the story does not end there.

When Jerusalem faced judgment, God remembered Ebed-Melech.

    God told Jeremiah:

"I will rescue you on that day... because you trusted in Me."

    Here's the deeper revelation.

God sees the people who stand for Him when it is unpopular.

The world may forget your kindness.

    People may overlook your sacrifice.

    But God remembers.

    LESSON:

You don't need a position of power to make a difference.

A heart that fears God can bring hope into a place of darkness.

    SCRIPTURE ENCOURAGEMENT:

"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles."
