  • Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 1 June 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. (Matthew 24:35)

    Where are the Bibles?
In several countries around the world the Bible is a rare book, and this is for various reasons such as poverty, restrictions on religious freedom or widespread illiteracy.
And what about where we are? There are probably more than enough Bibles. But where are they? Perhaps one is in the attic in a moving box, another in the closet, and who knows where the others have ended up – maybe in some dusty corner?
“But on Sundays, don’t you need a Bible to go to church?”
“What? You go to church? Sunday is the only day I can really sleep in and have brunch!”
“And what about when you have a quiet moment during the day or in the evening when you’re at home? Do you read God’s book then?”
“No, I check my messages or browse online.”
This fictional conversation is likely reality in many households: hardly anyone cares about the abundant Bibles. No one opens them. People constantly look at screens and monitors, but the Word of God is not read. The disastrous thing about it is that when we have to say goodbye to the earth, we will suddenly lose all our possessions, properties or savings. Only the Word of God and what we have recognised, believed, and lived from it – that remains for eternity.
To get to the point: Do you own a Bible? And if so, do you read it?

    Today’s reading: Lamentations 2:11-22 – Psalms 44:1-8

  • Good morning everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

Just in case you did not know, our God is an Awesome God. I know that some do not believe that, but I am here to tell you that it absolutely true. He showed me that again yesterday, just so that I would not forget.

The grown-ups wanted to go down to the Dollar General, but the two older kids wanted to stay with me. Remember, there is a major communication barrier, but … we manage. Later after breakfast, they wanted to go to the park, again … no parents, just us kids. We spent an hour with no supervision. And of course, because it was so hot, we had to go get us some ice cream at the Dollar store. Who cares that it was 1030 in the morning. Call it brunch.

After that, I had to leave to go to town for an appointment and to pick up a few items at the store. While in town, I spoke extensively with someone very dear to my heart and they shared with me their new journey…to start again on their walk with Him. We spoke about different avenues and my heart melted as I listened to Him speak through them.

When I returned home, the little ones helped me prepare the meatloaf. Nothing like getting to dig your hands into raw hamburger to play squishy squishy. They had a blast and they did a good job. While dinner was cooking, we had two grand games of Candy Land. But the true blessing for me yesterday, the one that totally melted my heart. The blessing that rejuvenated all the kid in me, when all three little ones crawled up on my lap, let my husband take the photo, then … all three sat through me reading them a story. There is nothing like having the love of a child snuggled up to your chest. Even when they do not understand the words that are coming out of your mouth. They feel your heart.

That my friends is the relationship you can have with the Father. You are not always going to know what he is saying. Sometimes there is going to be a huge language barrier. Sometimes you just have to stick your hands into the raw meat of the deal and trust that the meal will be delicious. Sometimes you just need to crawl up on his lap and listen to the Love of His heart. There is nothing like it.

Today I encourage you to find Him where you are. Sit with Him and enjoy His Love. It does just as much for him.

    Be blessed today my friends.

***And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. – 1 John 4:16
