• On September 30, 2020, I saw in a vision of something I could not shake.

A swarm of flaming locusts sweeping across the globe.

Not cute. Violent swarm carried by the wind.

Not symbolic in some shallow religious way.

    It was violent in purity.
    Ordered in movement.
    Terrifying in holiness.

A living picture of a people seized by God and carried by wind.

Then I heard the Lord say:

“Even so must My people be. Prepare. Make ready. For there comes a final mighty wind of My Spirit to launch you as a flaming army.”

I have carried that word for years.
    Quietly.
    Carefully.
    Soberly.

Because not every vision is meant to be posted the moment it is seen.

Some things must sit in the fear of the Lord long enough to burn the pride out of the messenger.

And I am saying this now with trembling:

I believe the time of preparation is narrowing.

God is not raising up a casual people for a casual hour.

    He is not gathering performers.
    He is not anointing ambition.
He is not breathing on religious noise.

He is preparing a people who know how to wait until the wind comes.

Because locusts do not move alone.
    They move in swarms.
    They move by timing.

They move with a force greater than themselves.

And when the wind takes them, what was hidden becomes unstoppable.

That is what I believe the Spirit of God is doing in the earth.

He is forming a flaming army in the secret place.

    Not famous people.
    Faithful people.

    Not polished people.
    Prepared people.

    Not people addicted to platforms.
People who have been burned clean at the altar.

This is not the hour for borrowed oil.
This is not the hour for loud mouths and empty lamps.

This is not the hour to jump because something looks exciting.

This is the hour to discern the wind of God.

    To know when to wait.
    To know when to move.
    To know when to leap.

Jeremiah 51:10–16 speaks of the Lord bringing forth His righteousness and calling His people to declare His work.

Nahum 3:14–17 speaks of preparation, siege, fire, locusts, and scattering.

There is a pattern here for those with ears to hear.

    Preparation before release.
    Fire before movement.
    Discernment before assignment.
    Formation before harvest.
    And hear me clearly:

The darkness we are called to confront must first be burned out of us.

Because an unpurified vessel cannot carry holy fire without turning it into strange fire.

So I am praying this again.

    Lord, prepare us.

Strip the laziness out of us.
Burn the compromise out of us.
    Deliver us from spiritual performance.

Teach us to discern what is You and what is only noise wearing Your language.

Give us timing to jump so the wind can take us
    Give us obedience.
    Give us holy fire.

Let the mighty wind of Your Spirit come upon a prepared people.

    Make us one body.
    One swarm.
    One flaming army.

    Not to be seen.
    To be sent.

    Not to make a name.
    To bear Your name.
    Not to destroy people.
    To destroy darkness.
Not to consume souls with control.

To gather souls into the harvest of Jesus Christ.

    This is not hype.
    This is warning.
    This is preparation.

This is the sound before the wind.

I’ve seen enough to stay awake.
    I love enough to warn.
I fear God enough to speak.

Rotten Eggs, Garlic, and Burnt Rubber.

    August 10th, 2026

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word “skunk”? It is probably the strong, foul odor used by these cute little striped black and white polecats to protect them from danger. Most animals and people are smart enough to stay clear of the scent glands used by skunks as a defensive weapon. Someone once described the odor as a mixture of rotten eggs, garlic, and burnt rubber. Because of muscles around these glands, skunks are pretty accurate in their aim at up to 10 feet away. People can easily smell this odor up to a mile away.

Actually, the skunk is reluctant to fire this weapon. It has enough to shoot five or six times, but then needs about 10 days to make another supply. Seeing the black and white stripes (or spots) is enough for most animals and people to stay clear. But if pressed, the skunk will still give warnings by hissing, stamping its feet, and raising its tail high before spraying. The stink is so strong it will even drive a bear away. But there is one predator of the skunk, the great horned owl, which, as you might guess, has a poor sense of smell!

Some states in the U.S. permit people to make pets out of skunks and have their scent glands removed. Most people come across skunks that are searching for food near garbage cans or trying to find cat or dog food in a garage. Because of their poor eyesight, skunks are often hit by cars on the road. Skunks also carry rabies, though it is more common in raccoons. (Almost all rabies cases in people come from dogs and bats.) Perhaps it is because their spray is enough to keep people away.

The Bible talks about the judgment of God against Judah when it turned away from the Lord. Especially condemning the luxury of these self-sufficient people, God lists jewels, clothing, and perfumes used by a haughty and proud people. Isaiah writes that the Lord will take away the perfume boxes. “Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench” (Isaiah 3:23). A selfish life stinks. When we give our hearts to Jesus and live to bless others, it is a sweet smell to all around us.

    Key Bible Texts
Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour. (Ecclesiastes 10:1 KJV)

  • “QUIT DUMBING DOWN THE WORD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD”
    Texts: Jeremiah 23:28–29 • Hebrews 4:12 • 2 Timothy 4:1–5 • Revelation 2–3
INTRO WHEN GOD SENDS A SOUND
There are moments when God doesn’t whisper.
    He doesn’t nudge.
    He doesn’t suggest.
    He ROARS.
He releases a sound that shakes nations, rattles churches, exposes idols, and summons His people back to the ancient, unshakable, unchanging truth of His Word.
This is not a teaching moment.
This is not a gentle reminder.
This is a clarion call a trumpet blast from the throne of the Most High.
Because the church has grown too comfortable with:
    a gospel that costs nothing
    a discipleship that demands nothing
    a Christianity that confronts nothing
    a Word that changes nothing
But the Spirit of the Lord is thundering:
    “ENOUGH.
    QUIT DUMBING DOWN MY WORD.”

    I. THE WORD OF GOD IS A VOLCANO NOT A VIBE
Jeremiah 23:29 “Is not My word like fire… and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”
    A. The Word is not a suggestion it is a SUPERNATURAL FORCE
The Word is not meant to be cute.
It is not meant to be comfortable.
It is not meant to be culturally acceptable.
    It is meant to ERUPT.
    It is meant to BREAK.
    It is meant to BURN.
    It is meant to TRANSFORM.
    B. We have turned the Lion of Judah into a housecat
We preach Him like He needs our help.
We present Him like He needs our approval.
We treat His Word like it needs our editing.
But the Lion does not need permission to roar.
    C. The Word is not fragile WE ARE
The modern church acts like Scripture is too harsh.
No our flesh is too soft.

II. THE WORD OF GOD IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE
    Hebrews 4:12 “Sharper than any two-edged sword…”
    A. A sword that never cuts is a decoration
If the Word never wounds your flesh, it will never heal your soul.
    B. The gospel is not meant to be “relatable” it is meant to be REVOLUTIONARY
Jesus didn’t come to fit in.
    He came to overthrow.
    He came to disrupt.
He came to divide light from darkness.
    C. Revival does not come through comfort it comes through CONFRONTATION
Every revival in history began when the Word was preached without apology.

III. THE CHURCH HAS LOST ITS APPETITE FOR TRUTH
2 Timothy 4:3 — “They will not endure sound doctrine…”
    A. We have raised believers who want inspiration, not instruction
They want sermons that make them feel good, not sermons that make them holy.
    B. We have created a Christianity that avoids the cross
    We preach resurrection without repentance.
    We preach blessing without obedience.
    We preach grace without transformation.
    C. We have replaced the altar with an audience
People don’t come to be changed they come to be entertained.
But revival does not come to the entertained.
Revival comes to the broken, the hungry, the repentant, the desperate.

IV. GOD IS CALLING HIS PEOPLE BACK TO THE HARD TRUTHS
This is the revival cry the trumpet blast the shaking of the foundations:
    1. Return to the FEAR OF THE LORD
    Not fear of culture.
    Not fear of criticism.
    Not fear of losing followers.
    Fear of the Most High.
    2. Return to HOLINESS
    Holiness is not legalism.
    Holiness is not optional.
Holiness is the standard of the Kingdom.
    3. Return to REPENTANCE
    Not excuses.
    Not explanations.
    Repentance.
    4. Return to OBEDIENCE
    Not partial obedience.
    Not convenient obedience.
    Total obedience.
    5. Return to DOCTRINE
Doctrine taught to us is not boring, it is the backbone of revival.
    6. Return to the FULL COUNSEL OF GOD
Not the parts that make people shout.
Not the parts that make people comfortable.
    All of it.

    V. ILLUSTRATION — THE WATERED-DOWN ANTIDOTE
A city is dying from a deadly poison.
A doctor has the antidote — pure, potent, life-saving.
But he waters it down so people won’t complain about the taste.
    They drink it.
    They smile.
They feel better for a moment.
But they die because the antidote lost its power.
This is what happens when the church waters down the Word.

VI. THE FINAL REVIVAL CALL — LET THE WORD BE THE WORD
This is not the hour for soft preaching.
This is not the hour for diluted doctrine.
This is not the hour for comfortable Christianity.
    This is the hour for:
    Fire
    Repentance
    Holiness
    Truth
    Boldness
    Conviction
    Unfiltered Scripture
    Let the fire burn.
    Let the hammer break.
    Let the sword cut.
    Let the truth thunder.
    Let the Word stand.
Quit dumbing down the Word of The Most High God
and let revival shake the earth.

  • EGYPT:
An Egyptian priest dressed in white was in his sanctuary. His name was Potipherah. A torch was lit and placed in a stone handle on the wall. The limestone walls were covered with sacred hieroglyphs that narrated the ancient stories of the gods, and before him was the majestic and beautiful statue of his beloved solar deity, Ra. The statue of Ra was at the center of the altar. On his right was the beautiful goddess, Isis, breast-feeding her son Horus, and on the left was Osiris, lord of the afterlife. The sanctuary had other small statues of the gods of Egypt, like Horus the adult with his head in the shape of a falcon and his long hair, the goddess Bastet with a cat head, Anubis, with a jackal head, and a few amulets of the same gods that were used for protection.
Potipherah loved the gods and believed the gods loved him back, which was why he was praying to Ra that night. He was a bit anxious because he had recently awoken from a nightmare.
"Mighty Ra, I know that it is better to pray to you during the day, but I had the most disturbing dream. I pray to you for your protection. I am not sure what this dream means. I believe that you or one of the gods has sent me a message tonight. There will be a foreigner among us. A foreigner who will rule. I pray to you that this does not happen. Please prevent it. Egypt is mighty and prosperous, and I am afraid that we might be conquered. I pray to you. Please prevent a conquest of Egypt, if that is what will pass. I love you. I venerate you and worship you. I beg you to listen to my prayer—me, the Priest of On, Potipherah, your humble and obedient servant. Ra, I will leave you here with this offering of fruits. Please, I beg you to accept this offering in exchange for an answer."
Potipherah then grabbed a basket filled with the best fruits for the god Ra, fruits like dates, figs, grapes, and raisins. He left the basket at the foot of the statue. Potipherah looked up at his god and bowed, showing deep respect to the statue. Then, he prayed to the other gods beside Ra and made offerings to them too.
He lit some frankincense, closed his eyes, and prayed silently again. After he was done, he approached the statues and kissed the feet of each one. He grabbed the torch from the sanctuary's sconce and took it with him. The sanctuary remained dark. Afterwards, he left the room and noticed that his daughter, Asenath, was calling him. She was in her bedroom, in her bed, whispering to him.
    "Father. Father. Father," she said.
Potipherah walked into her room. Potipherah placed the torch on his daughter's sconce. The bedroom had hieroglyphs on the walls and paintings of Pharaoh, Ra, Bastet, Osiris, Horus, Isis, and other gods. She slept in a wooden, long, rectangular-shaped bed carved with lions' paws. Her sheets, fitting her status as the daughter of a wealthy high priest, were woven from the finest, bleached Egyptian linen.
"Asenath? Why are you up, you little girl? Your teacher will come tomorrow," Potipherah told her.
"Father, I heard you were up. I was scared," Asenath said. Potipherah hugged his daughter.
"All is well, sweetheart. Go to sleep," Potipherah told her, and he kissed her on the cheek.
"Father, I had a strange dream," Asenath told him, and this immediately interested her father.
"You did?" Potipherah asked her, and although he could only see shades of her in the dim firelight, he noticed a brief smile. She nodded.
"Yes, father, I did," she replied, so Potipherah asked her about it.
"I dreamed of a boy. He was very cute. He looked at me and smiled. Then he held my hand," Asenath said.
"And what happened next?" Potipherah asked.
"That's all. Then, I woke up. Oh, father, he was so cute. I didn't want to wake up. I wanted him to kiss me," Asenath said. Potipherah arched an eyebrow.
"Asenath, and tell me, what did you feel during this dream?" Potipherah asked her.
"Love, father. I felt loved," she replied. This was not the answer he expected, but it wasn't a bad answer.
"Okay, time to go to sleep now. Your teacher is coming early tomorrow," Potipherah told her, and then he tucked her in.
"Goodnight, sweetheart. May Osiris and Isis protect you," Potipherah told her. Asenath lay back and smiled.
"Thank you, father. May Ra protect you," she replied.
Potipherah kissed her on the cheek, and then he took the torch from the sconce and left. He thought that this peaceful dream was the exact answer that he needed from Ra. He believed the offering had been accepted, and so, as he walked to his room, he thanked the god for answering his prayer—wholly unaware that the true, living God of Heaven was already arranging the pieces of history.

    HEBRON:
Everything was dark until the fireball appeared before him. It was huge, radiant, and hot. Then, a few feet in front of that huge ball of fire, appeared a silver sphere. Joseph realized that he was looking at the sun and at the moon. Later on, tiny dots of bright lights appeared in the dark void. Joseph counted each one, and together they amounted to eleven. These, he noticed, were stars. The rest of the universe was dark.
"The sun, the moon, and the stars," Joseph said to himself.
The sun, the moon, and the stars strangely developed into bodies that were all dressed in white undergarments. Joseph noticed that the bodies seemed familiar. One of the stars had the body of a boy who looked like Benjamin. Another one had the body of a man, and it looked like Reuben's. The moon had a female body; maybe the moon was Leah. The sun looked like his father, Jacob. All of them bowed down flat to the earth before Joseph, giving reverence to him. Joseph woke up to the light of day, the prophetic weight of the vision resting heavily upon his spirit.

HEBRON: Everything was dark until the fireball appeared before him.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
    Matthew 6:20

    Practical Preparation

What a lot of practical commands there are in the Bible concerning preparation. How often are we warned of the foolish consequences of ignoring them.. yet how many of us really heed such cautions? How many of us truly obey His Word? “Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven… we are warned where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:20

    Heavenly Home

This is not an airy-fairy tales of princesses and peas – or dungeons and dragons. This is no cute little bed-time fantasy to escape from the drudge of a hard life. This is the reality of God’s plans and purposes for each blood-bought child of His. Heaven and its wonders will still be rich and glorious in the future ages to come. Heaven will still be a fact when this world has slipped into a distant bygone age, And we are charged to store up treasure in the world to come – our heavenly home, and if we comply with this directive, we will be blessed both here and there.

    Man’s Mind

But what does it mean to store up treasure? Should we give everything away, like the rich young ruler was instructed? Should we eat husks; sleep under cardboard; retire to a cave? – I doubt i, But God does desire an undivided heart.. and He does know the evil intent of man’s mind.

    Divided Heart

God knows that your possessions; your home; your bank balance can become your god. He knows that in a divided heart, (mammon and God) cannot reign together, and mammon is so much more than money – much more than dollars or pounds. Mammon is the whole realm of riches, possessions, property and commerce.. and God knows if our eye is not single – for God knows the inner heart.

    His Light

But if our eyes are on Him, our vision is unimpaired and we walk in His Light: and if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 1John 1:7

    Our Choice

Treasure is not to do with whether we have much or whether we have little. It is not to do with whether we have goods or money; houses, career or position. It is whether we have become so attached to them they we prefer them to Him. It is a choice between the two – for only one can rule your heart and life.

    Master or Friend

So what does it mean to make friends with mammon? Why in Luke 16, are we instructed to: “make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon” Luke 16:9 Does this not contradict scriptures, which warn us against the love of money? No, it does not contradict scripture, but is does have an important meaning. God has entrusted us with many things, one of which is our money – mammon. Mammon is not to be our master – but we are to master our goods and wealth.

    Wise Servant

The world is shrewd in the way it conducts itself – and we must be shrewd too, but they are shrewd in an ungodly way and make mammon their god. We too must be shrewd with all we have by dealing with it a godly way. We are to act wisely with all that has been entrusted to us. God translates faithfulness into a faithful and wise servant in His service. He is watching to see if we are faithful and wise in all that He has entrusted to us… waiting to see if we fall into the category of a divided heart – waiting to see if He is all in all.

    Warning Words

It is only when a crisis arrives in our lives that our true attachments surface. It’s only when we truly recognise our position in Him that we can remain undivided. This world is not our final resting place – we are sojourners, passing through, and these little warning words against a divided heart have a deeper meaning. They are unmistakably linked to the any-day return of our Lord Jesus for His own.

    Seek Him First

We are entreated in all things to have our hearts set upon Him. We are implored to, seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; for if we do: all the things we need shall be added unto us. But life from start to finish is made up of many choices. We can choose the good or we can choose the evil – but we cannot have both. We cannot serve God AND mammon – the choice is God OR mammon.

    A Single Heart

Do you remember Lot’s wife? – Do you remember what she did as she fled the wrath to come? She looked back – all she had built up over the years was back in Sodom, and she couldn’t bear to let it go. She compromised the grace that was afforded her – in the day of her crisis. Her actions and attitudes demonstrate the realities of a divided heart. She had not come to terms with true singleness of heart.

    Treasure in Heaven

How important singleness of vision and an undivided heart is in this day of crisis – whosoever shall gain His life shall lose it.. but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall gain it. “store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, we are warned where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    EP.i. Evening Prayer

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it. ⏤ Isaiah 55:11

It is possible to move men, through God, by prayer alone. ⏤ Hudson Taylor

We come back this evening, our Father, to continue our prayer for the coming of Your kingdom. The day is past, and the work of Your servants is done. Thousands of ministers have preached Your word, tens of thousands of teachers have taught the children, and in millions of Christian homes, supplications and prayers have been offered. Let not all this work be in vain. May Your Spirit gather up all that has been done for You today and give it Your divine blessing, without which nothing can come of it.

Revive Your work in this land and in the world through this Sunday's ministrations. May many of Your children carry new earnestness and zeal into their living and work tomorrow. May the seeds sown in the furrows today take root and grow. Let not the birds gather up and devour what has been sown. Let not the thorns spring up and choke it. Let not the heat of trials scorch the tender growths. May the good seed grow wherever it has been sown, and may abundant harvests wave on thousands of fields. Prosper Your work on the earth.

May Your peace rest upon our home tonight. May the gentle Dove descend and spread His white wings over us, sheltering us while we sleep. May holy influences rest upon us from this Sunday, and may its teachings and impressions stay with us throughout the week. Keep each of us from the world's ungodly power. Hold us all near Your heart, in the warmth of Your love, in the strong security of Your grace. May the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God our Father, and the comfort of the Holy Spirit be with us forever. Amen.

  • Good evening, brethren.
    1. Evening devotion for today.

    ED.i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST*
    (COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

    *WELCOME TO JUNE, 2026.*

    *SUB-THEME:*
    EXAMPLES OF GOD'S AMAZING GRACE.

    *INTRODUCTION:*
Praise God for His faithfulness in watching over us and bringing us to the middle of the year. Our focus for June is "EXAMPLES OF GOD'S AMAZING GRACE". This month, we will explore how God intervened in the lives of specific individuals, meeting them at their points of need and blessing them beyond their wildest imagination. God reaches out to men and women in love, bringing life even when not warranted. God pours His Grace on people for them to experience a personal and intimate relationship with Him in order for them to avoid eternal damnation. May we open ourselves to receive God's Grace for daily living. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    JOHN 1:16.
"From the fulness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another."

    *DATE:*
    MONDAY 1ST JUNE, 2026

    *TEXT:*
    JOHN 8:1-11.
    1. but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
    2. At dawn He appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around Him, and He sat down to teach them.
    3. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group
    4. and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.
    5. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do You say?”
    6. They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing Him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with His finger.
    7. When they kept on questioning Him, He straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”
    8. Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.
    9. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.
    10. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
    11. “No one, Sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

    *TOPIC:*
    THE ADULTEROUS WOMAN.

    *THE MESSAGE:*
According to the law, both parties to adultery should be stoned to death (Lev. 20:10; Deut. 22:22). In our text, the Jewish leaders brought a woman to Jesus whom they said was caught in the act of adultery, but with an ill motive to entrap Jesus.
Why did they not present the man with whom she was committing the act?
Jesus asked them that the one without sin should throw the first stone. They all left one after the other since none of them was sinless. Unlike her accusers, Jesus acted graciously. He did not condemn her; instead, He forgave her, set her free, and urged her to sin no more.
Are you stuck in any sin?
Jesus is always gracious, offering forgiveness and deliverance to those who repent. Repent and be set free today.

    *REFLECTION:*
Jesus took the violence for you and me.

    *PRAYER:*
Thank You Lord, for identifying with me. Amen.

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*

    The Faithful and Wise Servant

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord hath made ruler over His household, to give them meat in due season?”
    Matthew 24:45

    A Faithful Servant

What a lovely picture of the judicious and faithful servant of the Lord. How we all would hope to be like this wise, trustworthy, and dedicated steward. He is to provide spiritual food and nourishment to those entrusted into his care: “Feed my lambs…” John 21:15 He is to feed the little flock, given into His charge with the whole council of God. “Feed my sheep…” John 21:16. He is to give his fellow-servants their portion of food in due season. “Feed my sheep…” John 21:17

    A Blessed Servant

How blessed is this faithful, trustworthy, dedicated servant of the Lord. The Lord Himself tells us: “Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord, when he comes shall find so doing” Luke 12:43. How illuminating it is to reflect on the words of the apostle in Luke 12. Peter asks the Master if He is speaking to the disciples, or the unsaved: “Lord, are you speaking in this parable to us, or to everyone?” Luke 12:41

    Consequences of Worldliness

Only a few verses earlier Christ warned them of the consequences of worldliness – chiding them for their worldly outlook and prompting them to, “lay up treasure in heaven….” for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” Luke 21:34

    Christian Preparedness

Jesus then gives a clear outline of what wise Christian preparedness is. He is the faithful servant – the trustworthy servant that feeds the household of God. He’s the wise steward –who gently nurtures and tends for the little flock in his care. He is the one that feeds the Lord’s lambs and tends the Lord’s sheep. What an incredible privilege and what an awesome and formidable responsibility.

    Necessary Warnings

Taking care of the household of the Lord is vital in these last days. The family or God needs to be fed, cared for, encouraged, uplifted, edified, yet the family of God also needs to be warned.. Whatever the situation in your life and whatever the conditions in mine. We would do well to recognise the favour and duty laid on our shoulders.

    Little Flock

Each of us have a little flock, whom the Lord has entrusted into our care. It may be one tiny little lamb or perhaps a flock of wandering sheep! But each of us have been called upon to tend some part of the masters vineyard. And most have been entrusted into the care of an under-shepherd’ Christ being the Chief Shepherd as well as being our Good, Great Shepherd

    Burden of Responsibility

May we each carry out our burden of responsibility as wise and faithful servants. May we each recognise the strain of the task laid on the one who cares for us: “Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when He cometh shall find so doing. Of a truth I say unto you, that He will make him ruler over all that he hath.” Matthew 24:46

    2. Evening Prayer fordtoday.

    EP.i. Evening Prayer

If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light [are] both alike [to thee]. ⏤ Psalm 139:11-12

You can do more than pray after you have prayed, but you cannot do more than pray until you have prayed. ⏤ S.D. Gordon

Breathe upon us with Your breath of grace and love, our Father, and give us an evening blessing. Let our prayers rise before You as fragrant incense. Let Your peace be upon us. The shadows have deepened around us, but You are in the shadows, and we are safe. Darkness holds no danger when You are watching over us. Night is as day when . . .
Your eye keeps watch on us,
    Your hand protects us,
    And Your arm embraces us.

We go to our rest without fear or anxiety, for You are keeping us. Human arms, though their embrace is dear, are not strong. They cannot always hold us. Even the strongest of them must one day fall in the weakness of death. But Your arms are everlasting. Nothing can tear us from Your grasp. Nothing in the universe can separate us from Your love. No one can snatch us from the hand of our Savior. We bless You for Your love, for our security in it, and for the eternity of Your grace. Your promises are sure forever. We are as safe as if we were already in Heaven, for You are our God and Father, and we are Your redeemed children.

Whatever sins we have committed today, please forgive. If we have harmed one of Your little ones, show us how we have done it so that we may seek to make it right. If we have lost our temper and spoken unadvisedly, impatiently, unkindly, or uncharitably, either to or about someone else, we ask for forgiveness. Take not Your Holy Spirit from us. Restore to us the joy of Your salvation. Grant us grace and teach us the better way, the more excellent way, the way of love. We want to show forth Your praise in all our lives. Bless us and enable us to manifest Jesus wherever we go. We ask all this in the name of Jesus our Redeemer. Amen.

This expresses reverence and a lifelong devotion rooted in a relationship. God's greatness transcends human understanding, inviting perpetual awe and praise. Indeed, God is love, just, faithful, and full of mercy. Such testimonies encourage others to trust and praise God. How often do you express gratitude to God for His goodness in your life? Do not allow life challenges to deter you from giving God praise. Make praise an ethos of your life!

    *REFLECTION:*
Praise the Lord even amid trouble.

    *PRAYER:*
I praise You Lord, for Your abounding grace in my life. Amen.

Amen.

Good evening, brethren. 1. Evening devotion for today. ED.i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST* (COCIN DEVOTIONAL) *WELCOME TO JUNE, 2026.* *SUB-THEME:* EXAMPLES OF GOD'S AMAZING GRACE. *INTRODUCTION:* Praise God for His faithfulness in watching over us and bringing us to the middle of the year. Amen. *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:* JOHN 1:16. "From the fulness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another." *DATE:* MONDAY 1ST JUNE, 2026 *TEXT:* JOHN 8:1-11. 1. but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2. At dawn He appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around Him, and He sat down to teach them. 3. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4. and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do You say?” 6. They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing Him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with His finger. 7. When they kept on questioning Him, He straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8. Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11. “No one, Sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” *TOPIC:* THE ADULTEROUS WOMAN. *THE MESSAGE:* According to the law, both parties to adultery should be stoned to death (Lev. *REFLECTION:* Jesus took the violence for you and me. *PRAYER:* Thank You Lord, for identifying with me. Amen. *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:* PSALM 1-6. ED.ii. “Feed my sheep…” John 21:17 A Blessed Servant How blessed is this faithful, trustworthy, dedicated servant of the Lord. The Lord Himself tells us: “Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord, when he comes shall find so doing” Luke 12:43. How illuminating it is to reflect on the words of the apostle in Luke 12. Peter asks the Master if He is speaking to the disciples, or the unsaved: “Lord, are you speaking in this parable to us, or to everyone?” Luke 12:41 Consequences of Worldliness Only a few verses earlier Christ warned them of the consequences of worldliness – chiding them for their worldly outlook and prompting them to, “lay up treasure in heaven….” for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” Luke 21:34 Christian Preparedness Jesus then gives a clear outline of what wise Christian preparedness is. Necessary Warnings Taking care of the household of the Lord is vital in these last days. The family or God needs to be fed, cared for, encouraged, uplifted, edified, yet the family of God also needs to be warned.. Whatever the situation in your life and whatever the conditions in mine. We would do well to recognise the favour and duty laid on our shoulders. Little Flock Each of us have a little flock, whom the Lord has entrusted into our care. It may be one tiny little lamb or perhaps a flock of wandering sheep! But each of us have been called upon to tend some part of the masters vineyard. And most have been entrusted into the care of an under-shepherd’ Christ being the Chief Shepherd as well as being our Good, Great Shepherd Burden of Responsibility May we each carry out our burden of responsibility as wise and faithful servants. May we each recognise the strain of the task laid on the one who cares for us: “Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when He cometh shall find so doing. Of a truth I say unto you, that He will make him ruler over all that he hath.” Matthew 24:46 Post navigation Previous Post Previous Where Is Your Treasure? Proudly powered by WordPress. 2. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light [are] both alike [to thee]. ⏤ Psalm 139:11-12 You can do more than pray after you have prayed, but you cannot do more than pray until you have prayed. ⏤ S.D. Gordon Breathe upon us with Your breath of grace and love, our Father, and give us an evening blessing. Let our prayers rise before You as fragrant incense. Let Your peace be upon us. The shadows have deepened around us, but You are in the shadows, and we are safe. Darkness holds no danger when You are watching over us. Night is as day when . . . Your eye keeps watch on us, Your hand protects us, And Your arm embraces us. What a lot of practical commands there are in the Bible concerning preparation.

Amen.

Good evening, brethren. 1. Evening devotion for today. ED.i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST* (COCIN DEVOTIONAL) *DATE:* SUNDAY 31ST MAY, 2026. *SUB-THEME:* RESPONSE TO GRACE. *TOPIC:* PRAISE. *TEXT:* PSALM 145:1-3. 1 I will speak highly of You, my God and King, and I will bless Your name forever and ever. 2 I will bless You every day and I will praise Your name forever and ever. 3 The LORD is great, and to be praised highly, though His greatness is indescribable. Job 5:9 Psa 18:3 Psa 150:2 *TOPIC:* PRAISE. *THE MESSAGE:* Praise is simply lifting God. It expresses admiration and thanks. Everyone who has received grace must learn to praise God daily. Today's text emphasises God's majesty, the believer's response, and the boundless nature of divine greatness. David commits himself to extol and bless God always. *REFLECTION:* Praise the Lord even amid trouble. *PRAYER:* I praise You Lord, for Your abounding grace in my life. Amen. *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:* TITUS 2:12. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age. *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:* JOB 40-42. ED.ii. Skip to content Dalily Devotional by Elizabeth Haworth Posted onMay 31, 2026 by Editor Where Is Your Treasure? Christian Applications Store:: Christian devotional App Store; Explore Recommended Christian Books and Devotionals For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:20 Practical Preparation What a lot of practical commands there are in the Bible concerning preparation. Matthew 6:20 Heavenly Home This is not an airy-fairy tales of princesses and peas – or dungeons and dragons. Man’s Mind But what does it mean to store up treasure? Should we give everything away, like the rich young ruler was instructed? Should we eat husks; sleep under cardboard; retire to a cave? – I doubt i, But God does desire an undivided heart.. and He does know the evil intent of man’s mind. Divided Heart God knows that your possessions; your home; your bank balance can become your god. He knows that in a divided heart, (mammon and God) cannot reign together, and mammon is so much more than money – much more than dollars or pounds. Mammon is the whole realm of riches, possessions, property and commerce.. and God knows if our eye is not single – for God knows the inner heart. His Light But if our eyes are on Him, our vision is unimpaired and we walk in His Light: and if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 1John 1:7 Our Choice Treasure is not to do with whether we have much or whether we have little. It is not to do with whether we have goods or money; houses, career or position. It is whether we have become so attached to them they we prefer them to Him. It is a choice between the two – for only one can rule your heart and life. Master or Friend So what does it mean to make friends with mammon? Why in Luke 16, are we instructed to: “make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon” Luke 16:9 Does this not contradict scriptures, which warn us against the love of money? No, it does not contradict scripture, but is does have an important meaning. God has entrusted us with many things, one of which is our money – mammon. Mammon is not to be our master – but we are to master our goods and wealth. Wise Servant The world is shrewd in the way it conducts itself – and we must be shrewd too, but they are shrewd in an ungodly way and make mammon their god. We too must be shrewd with all we have by dealing with it a godly way. We are to act wisely with all that has been entrusted to us. • Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

    Lawn Mower Blades.

I know. That is exactly what all of you would expect from my brain, right? Yesterday was adaptability … today lawn mower blades. Show of hands on how many THINK I have lost it already in retirement.

Since the gentleman who used to mow our yard expressed concern for his health and the amount of yard that we have to mow, we have had to find another way to keep the yard nice. A friend of ours has a nice zero-turn and mowed the first week, but the next week, we asked if he would be willing to drop the mower off, and I would mow the yard. He has a very full schedule, and adding our yard when I am quite capable. He agreed.

After mowing a couple of times, I noticed that sometimes I would have to mow a section more than once. At first, I thought maybe it was because I am somewhat blind, but then I wondered if maybe the blades might need to be sharpened. Part of my yard is kind of rough, so I assumed that my yard was the reason. We asked and came to find out … the blades were quite old. As compensation for allowing us to borrow his mower, we bought new blades. Then I asked if I need to worry about buzzing my yard now. We all laughed. Honestly, I am eager to see how well the new blades cut.

How long have you been witnessing without sharpening your blades? (See how I took that hard left turn?) How long have you been walking in His Light without checking on the wick of your candle? How long have you been speaking Truth without fact-checking yourself?

Let me start this with I am the guiltiest of all guilty when it comes to not filling my own fuel tank with His high-octane Word. I am very guilty in trying to witness without my blades being sharp enough to cut through Satan’s lies … and wondering why I am still mowing this same piece of property. I am the guiltiest for thinking that I do not ‘need’ church, I don’t need to read, I can survive on the memes and cute little social media posts … I am guilty as charged.

Fortunately, God has a way of getting my attention and reminding me that without fuel, my witness is slow at best. Without sharpened blades, I will remain in the dense grass. Without fire and a trimmed wick, my light is dull at best. Without Him, I cannot successfully fight the enemy.

One of the ways that the enemy is winning in destroying the church is by going to church and causing all the flaws to show, hence the thought “Why would I want to sit with ‘those’ people, those liars, those thieves? They don’t practice what they preach.” And it has worked very well.

Today, I encourage you to pick up your bible, turn to Proverbs 3, read the wisdom in those verses. Start there. Then play a little bible roulette and read where it lands. Get your feet wet. Open up the new blades. Trim the wick of your candle. Drive to the gas station. At least you are in the right vicinity to walk on the water, sharpen your blades, shine your light, and fill your tank.

    Be blessed.

***But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33
