DailyWord From Scriptures With PMA Sunday 26th July, 2026 UNDERSTANDING DIVINE LEADING (7) "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21) We must judge All Things by the Truth of God's Word Throughout this teaching series, we have repeatedly emphasized that every form of divine leading; whether through the inner witness, the still small voice, prophecy, dreams, or visions must be tested by the authoritative Word of God, the Bible. It is also important to understand that no doctrine or major life decision should be built upon a single verse taken out of context. As a biblical principle, truth is established by the testimony of two or three scriptural witnesses. "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established." (2 Corinthians 13:1; Deuteronomy 19:15) Many have made costly mistakes in life because they built their decisions solely on a prophecy, a dream, or someone's personal revelation without comparing it with the Scriptures. The Holy Spirit will never contradict the written Word because He is its Author. Jesus said: "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth... and he will show you things to come." - John 16:13 The Holy Spirit guides us into truth, and Jesus declared: "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." - John 17:17 Therefore, let the Word of God remain the final authority in every decision you make. Test every leading by the Scriptures, and hold firmly to what agrees with God's truth. Henceforth, you will not take a regrettable step. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. Declare This: I submit every decision and every leading to the authority of God's Word. The Holy Spirit guides me into all truth, and I walk in wisdom and discernment. DailyWord From Scriptures With PMA Saturday 25th July, 2026 UNDERSTANDING DIVINE LEADING (6) "And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me." (Genesis 37:9) Visions, Dreams, and Trances Another way God communicates with His children is through visions, dreams, and trances. These can all be grouped under the broad umbrella of divine revelation. Throughout both the Old and New Testaments, we see God revealing His purpose, will, and plans to individuals through such experiences. For example, God revealed Joseph's future through dreams (Genesis 37:9–10), showed Pharaoh the coming years of famine through dreams (Genesis 41:1–7), and gave Peter a vision that prepared him to receive the Gentiles into the household of faith (Acts 10:9–16). However, just like every other form of divine leading, every vision, dream, or trance must be tested by the authority of God's written Word. Do not build your life on visions; build your life on the sure foundation of God's Word. We must also remember that we are not instructed to seek visions or dreams. God, in His sovereignty, chooses how and when He communicates with His children. Under the New Covenant, the primary way God leads believers is through the inward witness of the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit came upon selected individuals because the new birth had not yet been made available. But today, every born-again believer has the Holy Spirit permanently dwelling within their recreated spirit. Therefore, every vision, dream, or trance must be interpreted in the light of Scripture and never allowed to contradict God's revealed Word. May you never miss God's direction on the highway of destiny, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Declare This: I am led by the Spirit of God and established in His Word. Every revelation I receive is illuminated by the Scriptures and confirms God's perfect will for my life. I walk in divine wisdom, discernment, and accuracy, and I will never miss my way, in Jesus' name. Amen. DailyWord From Scriptures With PMA Tuesday 21st July, 2026 UNDERSTANDING DIVINE LEADING (2) "The Spirit itself (Himself) bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God." (Romans 8:16) God communicates with His children primarily through their regenerated human spirit. Nowhere in Scripture does God promise to lead us through our intellect, emotions, or physical senses. Proverbs 20:27 declares: "The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly." Notice that it is the spirit of man, not the mind or the body that God enlightens and guides. The Holy Spirit bears witness with our regenerated spirit. His leading comes as an inward witness, a quiet conviction, or a gentle prompting within our hearts; not merely through our feelings or reasoning. Many times, because of religious traditions or a lack of understanding, people say, "Something told me," or "I just had a feeling." In reality, when it is consistent with God's Word, it is often the Holy Spirit bearing witness with our spirit. To walk effectively in divine guidance, we must remain conscious of our true identity. Man is essentially a spirit; he has a soul and lives in a body. At salvation, your spirit was recreated to fellowship with the Holy Spirit. As you grow in God's Word and maintain communion with Him, you become increasingly sensitive to His leading. God will continually direct your life by communicating with your regenerated spirit through His Holy Spirit. Declare This: I am a child of God, and I am led by His Spirit. My regenerated spirit is sensitive to the inward witness of the Holy Spirit. I discern His voice clearly, walk confidently in His guidance, and never miss His direction for my life, in Jesus' name. DailyWord From Scriptures With PMA Monday 20th July, 2026 UNDERSTANDING DIVINE LEADING "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Romans 8:14) Essentially, God leads His children in the New Covenant by His Spirit who dwells within every believer. This is what we call the inner witness, inner prompting, or the still small voice. Once you are born again, your human spirit - your heart is recreated (quickened and made alive) to interact and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Please note this truth: God does not speak to your mind, your emotions, or your physical body. Rather, He communicates with your regenerated human spirit, which is capable of receiving spiritual signals. Romans 8:27 declares: "And he that searches the heart knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God." When you fine-tune your heart - your regenerated human spirit to the frequency of the Holy Spirit, you will undoubtedly discern His promptings and understand His direction concerning every issue of life. Just as in the natural realm you tune a radio to the correct frequency to receive a clear signal, so also in the spirit realm, your heart must remain tuned to the Holy Spirit through fellowship with God and His Word. Henceforth, you will not miss your steps in life. Amen. Declare This: I am led by the Spirit of God. My heart is sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit, and I discern His leading with clarity. I will not miss God's direction for my life. My steps are ordered by the Lord, and I walk continually in His perfect will, in Jesus' name. Amen.
