• THE ANCIENT OF DAYS

Before there was time, before kingdoms rose and fell, He was.

Daniel was given a vision of the heavenly throne room:

“The Ancient of Days took His seat… His clothing was as white as snow, and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was flaming with fire.” — Daniel 7:9

The vision reveals a God who is eternal, holy, righteous, and sovereign over all creation. His throne burns with fire, thousands stand before Him, and judgment proceeds from His presence.

The Ancient of Days is not merely ancient in the sense of age. He is the One who existed before all things and whose dominion has no end.

And then Daniel saw “one like a son of man” coming with the clouds of heaven, receiving everlasting dominion, glory, and a kingdom. — Daniel 7:13–14

The kingdoms of this world will pass. His kingdom will never pass away.

“His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.” — Daniel 7:14

May we never forget who sits upon the eternal throne.

    THE ANCIENT OF DAYS.
    ETERNAL. HOLY. RIGHTEOUS.

    Daniel 7:9–14

THE GREAT PROPHETIC DIVERSION: How the "Times" Were Changed.

For centuries, the world recognized the "Little Horn" of Daniel 7 as the Roman Catholic Papacy. To stop this realization, a strategic "re-writing" of prophecy occurred. This is the fulfillment of Daniel 7:25—the "changing of times."

    The Jesuit Counter-Reformation
When the Reformers pointed to the Papacy, the Church needed a way to shift the blame. They commissioned Jesuit scholars to create two opposing "times" for prophecy:

    1. Preterism (The Past)

The Architect: Luis de Alcazar (1554–1613).

The Move: He pushed the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation into the distant past, claiming they were fulfilled by Nero or Antiochus Epiphanes.

The Result: If it already happened in 70 AD, the Papacy can’t be the Antichrist today.

    2. Futurism (The Future)

    The Architect: Francisco Ribera (1537–1591).

The Move: He pushed the "Little Horn" into the distant future, claiming the Antichrist would only appear for 3.5 literal years at the very end of time.

The Result: If he hasn't arrived yet, the Papacy is off the hook.

    Changing the "Times"
By moving the fulfillment to the far past or the far future, they successfully removed the attention off the Papal system’s 1,260-year reign in the middle of history.

Today, most of the world (including many Protestant churches) has accepted these Jesuit-led interpretations without realizing they were designed to hide the true identity of the Little Horn.

The Bible warns that he would "think to change times." This isn't just about calendars—it’s about the timeline of God's truth.

  • Daniel’s dream had him troubled and alarmed.
But here's the truth: God is still on the throne, no matter how beastly the world gets.
Be encouraged. The Kingdom is coming!

  • Daniel 7:25 (KJV) And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

This quote is by Ellen white
    The Great Controversy

    A catastrophic change

Says Daniel of the little horn, the papacy: "He shall think to change times and law" (Daniel7:25 R.V). And Paul styled thesame power "man of sin," who was to exalt himself above God. One prophecy is a complement of the other. Only by changing God's law could exalt itself above God; whoever should understandingly keep the law as thus change would be giving supreme honor to that power by which the change was made.
