  • READ WITH ME – DAY 10

Topic: Forgive as You Have Been Forgiven

    Key Verse:
"Be kind and tender to one another. Forgive one another, just as God forgave you because of what Christ has done."
    — Ephesians 4:32 (NIrV)

    Today's Reflection

Forgiveness is one of the greatest expressions of God's love. It may not always be easy, but it is always the right thing to do.

Think about how much God has forgiven you. When you came to Him in repentance, He did not hold your sins against you. Instead, He showed you mercy, gave you a new beginning, and welcomed you into His family.

Because God has forgiven us so completely, He calls us to forgive those who hurt us. Forgiveness does not mean pretending the pain never happened or immediately restoring broken trust. It means choosing to let go of bitterness, resentment, and the desire for revenge, placing the matter into God's hands.

Holding on to unforgiveness only weighs us down and hinders our spiritual growth. But when we forgive, we experience the peace, freedom, and healing that God desires for us.

If someone has hurt you deeply, ask God for the grace to forgive today. Remember, forgiving others does not excuse their wrong; it reflects the mercy God has shown to you.

    Today's Takeaway:
People who truly understand God's forgiveness become willing to forgive others.

    Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for forgiving me through Jesus Christ. Help me to let go of bitterness and give me the grace to forgive those who have hurt me. Fill my heart with Your love and peace so that I may reflect Your mercy to others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  • #Day10 Living Under the Rule of the Holy Spirit

    ALL THROUGH THE SPIRIT

    Zechariah 4:6

"Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty."

As Zerubbabel faced the immense challenge of rebuilding the Temple, God reminded him that His work is not accomplished through human abilities, but by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit desires to be much more than an occasional helper: He wants to be our DAILY Guide. He desires to lead us to pray as God wants us to, through the Spirit.

When we seek God, we invite His influence into our lives. We exchange our weakness for His strength, our limitations for His wisdom, and our anxieties for His peace.

When we submit to the Holy Spirit, He takes His place to lead us according to His Rule. Prayer, therefore, becomes an expression of our dependence on God. Every time we pray, we acknowledge our need for the Holy Spirit's help.

Always begin your day by placing it in God's hands. Seek His guidance before making decisions and learn to rely more on the Holy Spirit.

Father, at the end of this series, teach me to depend on You each day. Forgive me for relying on my own strength. Holy Spirit, guide my steps, so that I may live under Your rule. In Jesus' name, amen.

THE FRUIT THAT REVEALS THE SPIRIT

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."

    — Galatians 5:22

Paul contrasts the works of the flesh with the life produced by the Holy Spirit. Where the flesh divides and destroys, the Spirit profoundly transforms the believer's heart.

The Holy Spirit does not only give visible gifts; He also produces a Christlike character.

Every day, the Holy Spirit works in us to ripen what Christ has sown.

The fruit of the Spirit is not a human effort adorned with religion.

It is the life of God growing in a heart submitted to His work. Gifts sometimes impress people, but the fruit truly reveals spiritual maturity.

    Love in a harsh world.
    Peace amidst chaos.
Self-control in inner struggles. This is the silent miracle of the Holy Spirit.
God seeks not only active believers, but transformed lives. This, too, is the work of Pentecost.

May your prayer on this day be: Holy Spirit, shape my heart so that my life bears fruit that glorifies Jesus. May your work in me be visible in my words, my thoughts, and my attitudes, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

  • #Day10 Kingdom Series

YOU WERE THE SOIL, NOW SOW
    Back to the Sower

“Behold, a sower went out to sow.” — Matthew 13:3 (ESV)

This chapter begins with a sower going out to sow. It ends with a scribe drawing from his treasure to give. The accomplished scribe of the Kingdom becomes a sower himself.

Like the sower in verse 3, he leaves home and goes to sow. You cannot sow a seed you have never carried. The depth within us always precedes the fruitfulness outside of us.

The Kingdom does not stop at personal transformation. It goes beyond that.

    - The mustard seed becomes a tree where others find shade.

    - The leaven transforms everything around it.

    - The pearl found redirects an entire life.

And the scribe shares his treasure.

The sower in Matthew 13:3 goes out. Before sowing, before seeing the fruit, he goes out. He goes to unfamiliar fields, to hearts he doesn't choose. He doesn't sow according to the soil; he sows in spite of the soil. He sows with a generosity like God himself. And you, what will you do with what you have received?

With what you have received these past few days, identify a friend, a colleague, a family member, a young believer, with whom you could share this meditation this week in a genuine conversation. That is what sowing is. Share the message with those around you, go and sow.

Lord Jesus, to unknown fields, to hearts. May what you have sown in me produce in others what you have always intended. I want to be a bearer of the seed of God's word.
