• God Has Not Forgotten You!

Many people pass through seasons where they feel forgotten.

Prayers seem unanswered, doors remain closed, and expectations appear delayed.

Some wonder, "Has God remembered me?" There are moments when pain, delay, rejection, and unanswered prayers can create the feeling that heaven is silent.

But feelings do not determine truth. God does not forget His children.

Human beings may forget promises, abandon relationships, and disappoint us, but God never forgets His covenant and His plans.

God's silence is not God's absence. His delay is not His denial.

    Bible Texts: Isaiah 49:15–16, Genesis 21:1–2, Psalm 34:17, Hebrews 6:10, Jeremiah 29:11

"Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands." — Isaiah 49:15–16

    1. God Remembers His Promises

    Genesis 21:1–2
"And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken."

Sarah waited many years for the promise of a child. She laughed in doubt because the promise looked impossible. But at God's appointed time, He remembered His word.

God is not a man that He should lie. If He speaks, He will bring it to pass.

    God's promises have timing.

    Delay does not mean cancellation.

God's calendar is different from human calendars.

    2. God Sees Your Tears

    Psalm 56:8
"You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?"

God sees tears that nobody notices. Some cry publicly, others cry privately. Some smile before people but carry pain inside.

    The tears of:

    Hannah were seen.

    Joseph's suffering was seen.

    David's struggles were seen.

God records every pain and every cry.

    Psalm 34:17
"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."

    3. God Does Not Forget Your Service

    Hebrews 6:10
"For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love."

Sometimes people serve faithfully and wonder why their efforts seem unnoticed.

You may pray, give, help others, work in ministry, or remain faithful during hardship, yet people overlook your sacrifices. But heaven keeps records.

    People may forget:

    Your kindness

    Your sacrifices

    Your support

    But God does not forget.

    4. Delay Does Not Mean Rejection

    Habakkuk 2:3
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time... Though it tarries, wait for it."

    Some blessings mature with time.

Joseph waited before becoming a ruler.

    David waited before becoming king.

Lazarus' situation looked too late, yet Jesus still came.

When God delays, He is often preparing something greater.

    5. God's Thoughts Toward You Are Good

    Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you... thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

    The enemy may whisper:

    "You have been abandoned."

    "Nothing will change."

    "God has forgotten you."

But God's word says otherwise. His plans are filled with hope and purpose.

    What To Do While Waiting
    Keep praying — Luke 18:1

    Keep trusting — Proverbs 3:5–6

Keep serving God faithfully — Galatians 6:9

    Keep speaking God's promises — Romans 10:17

Keep expecting your testimony — Psalm 126:1–3

    Conclusion

Your present condition is not your final destination. The God who remembered Noah in the ark, Hannah in her sorrow, Joseph in prison, and Sarah in old age has not forgotten you.

The same God who opened closed doors before can do it again.

Your season of waiting will become a season of testimony.

    Prayer Points

Father, every spirit of discouragement in my life, let it disappear in Jesus' name.

Lord, remember me and visit me with Your mercy and favor.

Every delayed blessing assigned to me, receive divine release in Jesus' name.

Father, turn my tears into testimonies.

Lord, let my season of remembrance begin now in Jesus' name.

Father, help me trust You even when I cannot see the answer.

    Declaration:

"God has not forgotten me. My time of favor is coming. My prayers are heard, my testimony is near, and God's promises over my life will come to pass in Jesus' name."

    LESSON: Genesis 21: 1-7

    TOPIC:
WHEN GOD DECIDES TO REMEMBER A MAN

    TEXT:
And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. Genesis 21:1 (NKJV)

    INTRODUCTION:
Divine remembrance is the moment God steps into a person’s situation to change their story forever.
When God remembers a man, delay breaks, shame disappears, and impossible doors begin to open. Throughout Scripture, every person God remembered experienced a visible turnaround. May Heaven remember you today through this message in
    Jesus powerful name.

    EXPOSITION:
    [1] DIVINE REMEMBRANCE ENDS
    LONG SEASONS OF DELAY
    Text: Genesis 21:1-2, Habakkuk 2:3, Luke 1:57
Sarah carried the promise for years before manifestation came. Humanly speaking, it was too late, but God’s remembrance operates beyond time and limitation. When heaven remembers a man, prophecy begins to manifest and waiting seasons suddenly expire.
Many believers today are discouraged because answers seem delayed, but God is never late. His promises may tarry, yet they will surely speak at the appointed time. One moment of divine remembrance can accomplish what years of struggle could not produce.

    [2]. DIVINE REMEMBRANCE BREAKS
    SHAME AND REPROACH
    Text: 1 Samuel 1:6-20, Luke 1:25, Psalm 126:1-3
Hannah was mocked because of her condition, but when God remembered her, the same mouth that cried in bitterness began to sing songs of victory. Elizabeth also testified that God removed her reproach among men.
There are battles people hide silently behind smiles, but divine remembrance brings public restoration. God can turn mockery into celebration and convert years of tears into testimonies that glorify His name openly.

    [3]. DIVINE REMEMBRANCE PROVOKES
    RESTORATION AND FAVOR
    Text: Esther 6:1-10, Joel 2:25, Nehemiah 13:14
Mordecai was forgotten after his good works, but one night God disturbed the king’s sleep and the book of remembrance was opened. What people ignore, God can suddenly announce before nations. When God remembers a person, lost opportunities are restored, helpers arise, and favor begins to speak where rejection once prevailed. Divine remembrance has the power to recover wasted years and reposition a man for honor.

    CONCLUSION:
    GOD NEVER FORGETS HIS OWN
Men may forget, systems may fail, and helpers may disappoint, but God never forgets His own. The same God who remembered Noah, Hannah, Sarah, and Mordecai is still alive today. Your season of divine remembrance shall not pass you by, in Jesus’ name.

    Prayer
Father, remember me for good. Let every long-standing delay, hidden reproach, and forgotten blessing in my life receive divine intervention. Open the book of remembrance concerning my destiny and let my testimony appear speedily, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

    Goodwill Message
May the God of divine remembrance visit your home, ministry, family, and destiny with uncommon favor and undeniable testimonies. What has delayed for years shall receive speedy manifestation in Jesus’ name.

    HAPPY EXCITING SUNDAY
    HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK.

  • FORGOTTEN PEOPLE: But God Has Not Forgotten You.

One of the deepest pains in life is the pain of being forgotten.

Many people are surrounded by crowds but still feel abandoned. Some are forgotten by family, friends, leaders, society, and even people they once helped.

Psalm 27:10 — “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.”

    There are people who:

Helped others but were abandoned in return

Sacrificed for family but received rejection

Served faithfully but were never appreciated

Cried silently while nobody noticed their pain

However, the good news is this: Men may forget you, but God never forgets His own.

People may overlook your labor, your tears, your prayers, and your sacrifices, but Heaven keeps records.

    1. JOSEPH — THE FORGOTTEN PRISONER

    Genesis 40:14-15, 23

Joseph interpreted the dream of the butler and asked him to remember him before Pharaoh. But after the butler was restored, he forgot Joseph.

Joseph remained in prison for years despite his innocence.

Sometimes people you help may forget you

    Human promises can fail

    Delay is not denial

God may allow isolation before elevation

The same Joseph who was forgotten in prison later became ruler in Egypt.

Your present condition is not your final destination.

    2. HANNAH — THE FORGOTTEN WOMAN

    1 Samuel 1:6-20

Hannah was mocked because she had no child. Year after year she cried before God.

People saw her pain but could not solve it.

But one day, God remembered Hannah.

    God remembers silent tears

Delayed answers are not permanent rejection

Your season of mockery can become a season of testimony

1 Samuel 1:19 — “And the Lord remembered her.”

    3. THE MAN AT THE POOL OF BETHESDA'S

    John 5:1-9

This man suffered for 38 years. Nobody helped him into the pool.

    He said:

    “I have no man.”

He was surrounded by people yet abandoned.

But Jesus visited the forgotten man personally.

    God visits forgotten people

    Heaven specializes in impossible cases

Jesus notices those ignored by society

When men reject you, Christ can still locate you.

    4. THE THIEF ON THE CROSS

    Luke 23:39-43

    One criminal beside Jesus cried:

    “Lord, remember me…”

    Jesus answered him immediately:

“Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

Even in his dying condition, mercy remembered him.

It is never too late for God

Divine mercy can rewrite a destiny

    Jesus remembers sincere hearts

    5. GOD NEVER FORGETS HIS PEOPLE

    Isaiah 49:15-16

    Psalm 9:18

    Hebrews 6:10

    God said:

“I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands.”

    This means:

Your name is known in Heaven

    Your labor is recorded

    Your prayers are remembered

    Your tears are counted

Even when nobody appreciates you, God sees everything.

    SIGNS OF A FORGOTTEN PERSON

    Repeated abandonment

    Lack of recognition

    Feeling isolated

    Constant disappointment from people

    Delayed breakthroughs

    Emotional exhaustion

But today, God is changing the story.

WHAT GOD DOES FOR FORGOTTEN PEOPLE

    1. God remembers them
    Genesis 8:1

    “And God remembered Noah…”

    2. God visits them
    Luke 1:68

    3. God restores them
    Joel 2:25

    4. God announces them publicly
    Esther 6:1-11

Mordecai was forgotten for years, but one night changed everything.

HOW TO OVERCOME THE SPIRIT OF REJECTION AND FORGETFULNESS

    1. Keep trusting God
Do not allow bitterness to destroy your faith.

    2. Continue praying
    Persistent prayer brings divine remembrance.

    3. Remain faithful
    God rewards consistency.

    4. Avoid envy
    Your time will come.

    5. Stay connected to God
Your relationship with God matters more than human approval.

    PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS

May God remember you this season

Every forgotten blessing shall locate you

    Every closed door shall open

Helpers assigned to your destiny shall arise

    You will not die unnoticed

    Your testimony shall speak publicly

God shall change your story suddenly
