    This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:12.
    What quality is this love? ... A love for the soul that would part with selfish gratifications and practice stern self-denial in order to elevate, ennoble, and sanctify those with whom we associate....God enjoins upon all His followers to bear a living testimony in unmistakable language by their conduct, their dress and conversation, in all the pursuits of life, that the power of true godliness is profitable to all in this life and in the life to come....A cheap Christian character works more harm in the world than the character of a worldling, for professed Christians mislead others by professing to represent Him whose name they assume.....God is love. Whoso dwelleth in God, dwelleth in love. All who have indeed become acquainted ... with the love and tender compassion of our heavenly Father will impart light and joy wherever they may be. Their presence and influence will be to their associates as the fragrance of sweet flowers, because they are linked to God and heaven, and the purity and exalted loveliness of heaven are communicated through them to all that are brought within their influence...You can surround your souls with an atmosphere that will be like zephyrs from the heavenly Eden..[ FLB 235.]

  • Good evening, brethren.
    1. Evening devotion for today.

    ED.i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST*
    (COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

    *DATE:*
    MONDAY 17TH AUGUST, 2026.

    *SUB-THEME:*
    YOUTHS: VESSELS OF GOD'S GRACE.

    *TOPIC:*
    OVERCOMING TEMPTATIONS.

    *TEXT:*
    GENESIS 39:11-14.
    11. One day he went into the house to attend to his duties, and none of the household servants was inside.
    12. She caught him by his cloak and said, “Come to bed with me!” But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house.
    13. When she saw that he had left his cloak in her hand and had run out of the house,
    14. she called her household servants. “Look,” she said to them, “this Hebrew has been brought to us to make sport of us! He came in here to sleep with me, but I screamed.

    *TOPIC:*
    OVERCOMING TEMPTATIONS.

    *THE MESSAGE:*
    Temptation is a common test that comes in various forms and from different sources. Joseph faced a powerful and subtle temptation from Potiphar's wife, yet he refused to yield, relying on God's help. Though his resistance was reciprocated with harsh punishment, he remained faithful. Many young people, though called by God, have fallen into temptation and lost their voices and vitality. Today, many innocent young men and ladies have fallen victims of rape, sexual harassment in places of work or sex for good grades. Some church workers are not exempted from this awful sin. Have you harass or have been harassed sexually? Do not give the enemy a foothold. God's grace is available to all who desire victory. You can overcome temptation and live in freedom through His grace and word.

    *REFLECTION:*
    No temptation will pass your ability to resist.

    *PRAYER:*
    Lord, help me to resist and flee temptation. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    2 TIMOTHY 2:21.
    "If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be instruments for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master, and prepared to do any good work."

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*
    EZEKIEL 4-6.

    ED.ii. GOD'S COVENANT WITH MAN

    "The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the Lord God commanded the man: You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die." - Genesis 2:15-17

    God's covenant or agreement with man was:

    1) God said that man should cultivate the garden;

    2) God said he had to take care of the garden. Adam's position as the ruler of the garden had to be preserved;

    3) God said they could freely eat from all trees except from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If they ate from it, they would certainly die.

    The consequence of the fall

    But Adam and Eve broke this agreement. They believed the evil one and preferred to follow him, that creature who had disobeyed God, opposed God and was therefore thrown out of heaven. When this sin occurred, everything seemed lost. God made everything so beautiful and appointed Adam as ruler over this. However, when Adam and Eve sinned, Adam lost his position as ruler. They both became slaves to sin.

    God's rescue plan

    However, no one but God knew that He already had an escape route for man so man could regain his previous position. The Lamb of God, He was chosen before the creation of the world (see 1 Peter 1:20). This plan to save mankind was there before the world was created.

    The reason God allowed His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross was because He wanted to give back to man the position he once had. Now man was able to rule over sin, over the evil one and over this earth. He could walk with God again and come into His presence. The human being is allowed to reign together with God as a Royal child.

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    EP.i. Evening Prayer

    He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth [shall be thy] shield and buckler. ⏤ Psalm 91:4

    God does not want us to worry about the future. He wants us to trust Him today. ⏤ Corrie ten Boom

    Father, we are like little children in this vast world and cannot take care of ourselves. But we are so grateful that we are Your children and that You are our Father. We trust in Your eternal care. We know that You will never let us fall out of Your love and protection. As night falls again, we come close to You. We hide ourselves in the secret place of Your love and protection.

    We ask You to forgive all the sins we’ve committed against You today. Renew our hearts more deeply, so that we may keep Your commandments and live in harmony with Your will in both our thoughts and actions.

    Tonight, Father, we also remember Your other children around us. Some of them are happy; may they not forget You in their joy. Bless all pure happiness and let it lead to a closer relationship with You. Some of Your children are facing challenges. Some are struggling to find their daily bread. Some have sickness in their homes. Others have loved ones who are not living as they should, who do not love You or walk in Your ways, and their hearts are heavy with concern. Some have lost dear ones and are grieving deeply. For all these neighbors, we pray tonight. Bless them all. Give them the grace they need. Send relief and comfort in the way You know is best. And give us the grace to do our part in helping them in Your name, through Jesus Christ. Amen.

  • Daily Bible Lesson.
    TRUTH IS NOT POPULAR—WHY DO SO FEW FOLLOW JESUS IN HIS OWN SABBATH PATH?

    “As His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day.” — Luke 4:16

    Luke does not describe a rare visit.

    He reveals Christ’s custom.

    The Sabbath was not an accident in His life.
    It was part of His faithful walk with the Father.

    TRUTH IS NOT DECIDED BY THE CROWD

    Noah stood with God while the world laughed.

    Elijah stood for truth while a nation compromised.

    Jesus stood upon Scripture while religious leaders defended tradition.

    The crowd may be sincere—

    and still be wrong.

    “Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil.” — Exodus 23:2

    Jesus did not ask:

    What is popular?
    What is comfortable?
    What does the majority practice?

    He answered:

    “It is written.” — Matthew 4:4

    Truth is not settled by numbers.

    It is settled by God’s Word.

    JESUS LEFT AN EXAMPLE—NOT MERELY A MESSAGE

    Jesus did not only say:

    “Believe in Me.”

    He also said:

    “Follow Me.” — Matthew 4:19

    The Savior who died for us also showed us how to live.

    “Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps.” — 1 Peter 2:21

    Many admire Jesus.

    Few imitate Him.

    Many call Him Lord.

    Few follow when obedience becomes unpopular.

    “Why call ye Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” — Luke 6:46

    JESUS REVEALED TRUE SABBATH-KEEPING

    The same Jesus who created the Sabbath also kept it.

    “The Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.” — Mark 2:28

    He stripped away man-made burdens and restored its true beauty:

    Worship.
    Mercy.
    Healing.
    Fellowship.
    Rest in God.

    “It is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days.” — Matthew 12:12

    Jesus did not abolish the Sabbath.

    He rescued it from legalism and revealed its Christ-centered purpose.

    The Sabbath points to Him as:

    Creator.
    Redeemer.
    Lord.
    Rest for the weary soul.

    “Come unto Me… and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

    THE SABBATH WILL OUTLIVE SIN

    The Sabbath did not begin with Israel.

    It began in Eden—before sin, before nations, and before denominations.

    “God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it.” — Genesis 2:3

    Jesus honored it during His earthly life.

    And Scripture reveals that the redeemed will worship from Sabbath to Sabbath in the new earth.

    “From one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me.” — Isaiah 66:23

    The Sabbath began before sin,
    was exemplified by Christ during redemption,
    and will remain when sin is gone forever.

    What God sanctified in Eden,
    what Jesus honored on earth,
    and what the redeemed will celebrate eternally—

    should not be strange to Christ’s followers today.

    ONLY JESUS SAVES

    We are not saved by keeping a day.

    We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

    “By grace are ye saved through faith.” — Ephesians 2:8

    But saving grace does not excuse rebellion.

    It forgives the sinner, transforms the heart, and writes God’s law within.

    “I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts.” — Hebrews 8:10

    Obedience is not the price of salvation.

    It is the fruit of salvation.

    “If ye love Me, keep My commandments.” — John 14:15

    Truth without Christ becomes cold.

    Obedience without love becomes legalism.

    But faith that beholds Calvary produces loving loyalty.

    THE REAL ISSUE IS AUTHORITY

    The deepest Sabbath question is not merely:

    Which day?

    It is:

    Who rules my conscience—Christ or tradition?

    Christ warned against worship built upon human commands.

    “In vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” — Matthew 15:9

    A tradition may be ancient.

    It may be popular.

    It may be defended by millions.

    But age cannot sanctify error.

    Popularity cannot replace divine authority.

    “To the law and to the testimony.” — Isaiah 8:20

    CHRIST IS CALLING YOU CLOSER

    Perhaps you followed tradition sincerely.

    Jesus is not calling you to pride, bitterness, or argument.

    He is calling you to:

    Repentance.
    Faith.
    Surrender.
    Obedience.

    Repent of placing human authority above His Word.

    Believe—not in your obedience, but in His cleansing blood.

    Surrender to His transforming grace.

    Follow wherever His truth leads.

    “The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.” — 1 John 1:7

    “These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth.” — Revelation 14:4

    “The strongest argument in favor of the gospel is a loving and lovable Christian.” — The Ministry of Healing, p. 470

    The narrow path has never been crowded.

    But Jesus walks there.

    The crowd cannot forgive you.

    Tradition cannot transform you.

    A denomination cannot save you.

    Only Christ can.

    Do not measure truth by the crowd.

    Measure everything by Christ and His Word.

    Prayer
    Lord Jesus, forgive my compromise. Cleanse me by Your blood, write Your law upon my heart, teach me to keep Your Sabbath as You did—with worship, mercy, love, and joy—and give me courage to follow You from this earth into eternity.

  • DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 226
    DATE: 14TH AUGUST 2026
    TOPIC: BE HONEST
    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:1 JOHN 1:9 (NLT)
    “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”
    Devotional message:

    One of the differences between a believer who experiences genuine restoration and one who remains trapped in repeated failure is the way we respond when we make mistakes. Many people, when they appear before God after falling, immediately begin to justify themselves, explain why they failed, or point to someone else as the reason for their actions. We see this pattern in the Garden of Eden. When Adam was confronted by God, he pointed to the woman, while Eve pointed to the serpent. Instead of immediately acknowledging their disobedience, they shifted responsibility.

    Child of God, God cannot restore what we are unwilling to acknowledge. Restoration begins when we become honest before Him. There is no need to hide from the One who already knows everything about us. When we come before God with a broken and contrite heart, acknowledge our error, repent, and ask for His help, we position ourselves to receive His mercy and grace.

    The Psalmist understood this posture. David did not merely try to conceal his failures; he came before God and cried for mercy and cleansing. He understood that his greatest need was not to defend himself but to be restored. Psalm 51:10 (NLT) says, “Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.”

    Sometimes the reason a person keeps repeating the same failure is because they have never truly confronted it before God. They keep explaining it, blaming others, minimizing it, or pretending that it is not serious. But when we acknowledge, “Lord, I cannot overcome this by my own strength; I need Your help,” we begin to experience the grace that enables us to stand.

    This does not mean we should live under condemnation. There is a difference between condemnation and conviction. Condemnation tells you that you are hopeless and should remain in your failure; the Holy Spirit convicts you so that you can repent, be cleansed, and return to fellowship with God.

    Child of God, do not allow pride to keep you in a cycle of defeat. If you have fallen, arise. If you have erred, acknowledge it. If you have become weak, ask for strength. If you have wandered, return to the Father. Your failure does not have to become your permanent identity.

    The moment you acknowledge your insufficiency and surrender yourself to God's help, you open your heart to His transforming grace. His mercy is greater than your failure, and His grace is sufficient to help you walk uprightly.

    True restoration begins with honest acknowledgement, genuine repentance, and dependence on God's grace. Stop justifying the error and allow God to restore you.

    PRAYER

    Heavenly Father, I come before You with an open and honest heart. Forgive me for every error, disobedience, and failure I have tried to justify or hide. Give me the grace to acknowledge my weaknesses without shifting blame.Let Your mercy restore me and Your grace strengthen me to stand. In Jesus' name, Amen.

PRAYER Heavenly Father, I come before You with an open and honest heart. Forgive me for every error, disobedience, and failure I have tried to justify or hide. Give me the grace to acknowledge my weaknesses without shifting blame.Let Your mercy restore me and Your grace strengthen me to stand. In Jesus' name, Amen. • Whenever I remember the marriage of the prophet Hosea and Gomer, I am reminded of just how radical God’s love truly is and how precious humanity is to Him. Who are we, after all? Mortals whom He created in His own image!

    When we fell in Eden, He came to us in the flesh and gave Himself on the cross, so that He might reconcile us to Himself and restore us to fellowship with Him. We prostitute ourselves through all manner of sin, yet He looks upon us through the blood of Jesus Christ, extends mercy to us, and restores us to Himself.

    If His love is this profound, just imagine how fearful His judgement must be for those who ultimately die in their sins. The same God whose mercy relentlessly calls us back to Himself is also the righteous Judge who will judge sin.

    His love is extreme. His mercy is immeasurable. But His judgement is equally certain.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    THURSDAY AUGUST 13, 2O26.
    "RESPONDING TO FAILURE"

    ‘A righteous person may fall…but he gets up again...’ Proverbs 24:16 GWT

    YOU CAN tell a lot about somebody by how they respond to life. Everybody gets knocked down, but how fast you get up again is what counts. Verla Gillmor says: ‘Failure teaches us things we can’t learn any other way…Treat it as a visitor allowed to deliver unpleasant news, but don’t let it take up residence. Remember, all failures aren’t equal. For example, when a beautiful, talented young woman is the first-runner-up in a beauty contest, some say she failed. Yet some people would give their right arm to be named the second most attractive female in a competition. It’s a matter of perspective… [examine] your failures and weigh them according to their importance in the overall scheme of things…I once received a ‘D’ at college…it’s ridiculous, but that sticks in my mind like a pebble in my shoe. Why do I fixate on that and not the fact that it happened during the term I carried nineteen credit hours, worked part-time, got engaged, and spent six weeks in the college health centre with mononucleosis? When I put the experience in context, it loses its power to undermine my confidence. Failure teaches us what’s important. I have a friend who was made redundant…It caught her by surprise because she was good at her work. “I tended to be full of pride,” she says. “I got away with it because I was so successful. Losing my job…humbled me. With pride you have no permission to fail. It’s a heavy yoke…and I don’t wear it any more. I feel lighter in my spirit without the burden of having to be perfect.’’’

    *A MORE DESCRIPTION OF HEAVEN*

    *TEXT:* REVELATION 21:1-8.

    1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
    2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
    3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
    4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
    5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
    6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
    7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
    8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

    *Timeless Truth:*_"For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God"_ (Hebrews 11:10).

    *INTRODUCTION*

    When Garden Eden was created, it was the most beautiful place Adam could ever conceive of, with all the beautiful birds, animals, plants and cool weather. However, nobody needed to tell Adam that there must be a better place because the God that used to commune with him in *"the cool of the day"* was not living in Eden. He must be dwelling in a better place. This faith was carried on from generations to generations until the time of Abraham, who in spite of all the wealth promised him, his affection was focused on the better city. *"For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God"*. Nobody was given a better revelation of heaven than Apostle John. Enoch and Elijah were said to be translated to heaven. How heaven looked like was left to human imaginations. Jesus Christ also mentioned heaven as the abode of the Triune God. He only told us it has many mansions. At the mount of transfiguration was revealed the glory of heaven and how the inhabitants will look like. Nothing more was revealed. Stephen saw heaven at the point of death but just faintly (Acts 7:55-56). Paul the apostle was taken to heaven which he called the third heaven, but he said he was not permitted to reveal what he saw to any except that he exposed that it has many foundations (Acts 11:10, 2 Corinthians 12:2-4). The text shows us the climax of God's revelation about heaven. Yet the Bible writers were short of words to describe heaven except that it is the place where God dwells from eternity, with all His created angels and saints. *"How beautiful heaven must be"*.

    *1. Prepared Heaven*

    a. Those who doubt the testimony of Apostle John must be ready to doubt his gospel and epistles that have transformed lives and brought supernatural comforts and revelation of Jesus Christ to mankind for centuries. *"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth"*. He was not told or heard from a third party. He saw it himself. It was not a remodelled new heaven and earth, but a totally new heaven and a new earth. *"And there was no more sea"*. There are three types of heaven mentioned in the Bible. There is the atmospheric heaven where the rain comes from (Deuteronomy 11:11). There is the second heaven called heavenlies where we have the galaxies including the primary domain of demonic forces and angelic conflicts (Ephesians 6:12). Then we have the third heaven or paradise where God dwells (2 Corinthians 12:2). *"For the first heaven and the first earth were passed away"*. The first two heavens were passed away except the third heaven. 2 Peter 3:12, 13 reveals how this will happen. *"….. wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. "*. The earth and the heavens will be destroyed through fervent heat. Jesus Himself confirmed that heaven and earth with all their structures, beauties, learnings and philosophies shall all pass away except the Word of God (Matthew 5:18, 24:35). In fact, all the human bodies will give way to eternal and indestructible bodies. Thus, what Apostle John saw was the giving away of all things that are visible and temporary for things that are eternal.
    b. *"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven"*. The earthly Jerusalem was referred to as the city of the Great King (Psalm 48:2, Matthew 5:35). This is referring to the Millennium holy Jerusalem from where Jesus will rule the whole world physically. John the apostle said that Jerusalem ceased to exist, but gave way to a completely New Jerusalem. This New Jerusalem was seen coming *"out of heaven"*. Obviously, it is seen coming from the third heaven which is the eternal throne of God. He used the imagery of the beauty of a bride coming to meet the husband to describe the beauty of heaven. This is the best description human language can give. *Prepared as a bride adorned for her husband"*. He then heard the voice of God announcing the plan of God right from eternity. What was that plan? That God will physically, live among men as King over loving subjects; as Father over His children in a happy family set up and as God over His redeemed and people. *"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God"*. This is the beginning of heaven, happy and holy eternity.

    *Question*

    Are you getting prepared for heaven in the practical sense of it? If Not, then you don't actually, believe in heaven.

    *2. Pacification with Happiness*

    a. The Apostle further gave a glimpse of how we will feel in heaven. *"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes"*. Tears of sorrow, anguish, lost loved ones, physical and psychological pains, etc.will all be forgotten. This is difficult to imagine for man. It is like imagining how God promised that *"your sins and iniquities will I remember no more"*. We don't have a problem with God forgiving our sins, but God forgetting our sins will be difficult to imagine. We will all forget the painful past as we will be overwhelmed with the glory of God for eternity. *"There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away"*. The pains and the tears, called *"light afflictions"* will be for a moment. They will not survive the joy of eternity.
    b. For those who have difficulty with believing, *"he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful"*. Heaven is prepared already. When Jesus Christ was about going to heaven, He assured the disciples of going to build mansions for them. About 60 years later, when John saw the revelation, he was told by the Lord that it was done. It means it is a settled and concluded matter. *"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end"*. In heaven there will not be any heat or tension, but total refreshments and happiness. *"I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely"*. Everything God has will be totally ours. All the gifts of God, physical or spiritual, will belong to us as possessions. Nothing needed or useful will be denied. We suffer different lacks while on earth. Heaven will be the opposite. *"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son"*. Are you an overcomer over sin, Satan and all his temptations?

    *Question*

    What are the things you are suffering on earth? Do you see them as temporary?

    *3. Punishment of Hell*

    What are the things that will disqualify any from entering heaven? What would be the abode of those who will miss heaven? The answer is fearful. *"But the fearful, and unbelieving"*. Every evil action stems from fear and unbelief. Unbelief of what God has spoken and the consequences of disobedience, fear of man and what man can do are terrible paralysing feelings that draw men to perdition. *"And the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars"*. Notice that all those sins are now also found inside the Church among professing saints. So there will be eternal surprises when those who profess that heaven is their home find themselves in a totally different place called hell. They *"shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone*.

    *Question*

    Are you transparently free from all sins?

    *Prayer Points*

    1.Give praises to God that you are in that number saved by grace .
    2.Ask God to search your life, expose, purge and cleanse you from all disqualifying habits .
    3.Pray that the vision of heaven will get brighter and brighter to you and your mind and affections will be focused on heavenly things .
    4.Pray that all believers will be delivered from all forms of self deception and will take entering heaven more seriously .

    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" (REVELATION 21:4).*_
    *John Harper, a Scottish Baptist pastor and evangelist, died on the _RMS Titanic_ in 1912. His last words, as testified by survivors, were "I have seen heaven, and it is beautiful" and "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." Despite his death, Harper used his final moments to preach the gospel, expressing his deep assurance that beyond death lay a place of eternal peace. A rescued survivor testified that Harper, clinging to the wreckage, asked if he was saved and urged him to believe in Jesus Christ. The survivor later accepted Christ and called himself "the last convert of John Harper."*
    *Today's passage paints a breath-taking vision of the new heaven and new earth. John sees the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending from God, adorned like a bride. A powerful voice declares that God will dwell among His people, wiping away every tear. Death, mourning, crying, and pain will be gone forever. The former things will pass away, and everything will be made new. God, the Alpha and Omega, promises the water of life to those who thirst. But He also warns that those who reject Him (those living in sin, fear, unbelief) will face eternal separation in the lake of fire.*
    *In this world, we experience suffering in many forms such as loss, illness, disappointment, pain and injustice. But for those who belong to Christ, these trials are temporary. Christ assures us that a glorious future awaits us, one where God Himself will comfort us, and all suffering will cease. This hope should encourage believers to endure hardships with faith, knowing that one day, we will step into a place where joy is endless and pain is no more. It also calls us to live righteously, rejecting sin and embracing the promise of eternity with God.*
    *No matter what trials you face today, hold unto the hope of heaven. Let this promise strengthen your faith, drive you to share the gospel, and encourage you to live in readiness for Christ's return. A day is coming when all suffering will cease and there will be no more tears, pain or death. Get ready to be part of this eternally glorious moment.*
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. ⏤ Galatians 5:13
    Let your religion be less of a theory and more of a love affair. ⏤ G.K. Chesterton
    O God, who has redeemed us by the precious blood of the Lamb, help us to live for Your praise and glory in all that we do. Since Jesus Christ has died for us and we are not our own, we want to live lives worthy of Your holiness. We confess and renounce all our sins. Teach us to hate sin and give us the grace to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, to the glory of Your holy name.
    We ask You to reveal Yourself to us this morning as we go forth and to give us the assurance of Your presence. You have promised that as our days are, so shall our strength be, and that Your grace will always be sufficient for us. We cling to these promises as we enter a new day whose experiences we cannot predict. We do not know what dangers we will encounter, what burdens will be placed on us, what temptations will whisper in our ears, what pitfalls will lie in our path, or what insidious influences will threaten the purity of our souls.
    So we hide ourselves in You and trust You to keep us safe all day.
    We desire to be useful and helpful to others. Save us from selfishness and self-centeredness. Teach us the great lesson of service. May we have the mind of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. May we serve one another in love. May we live to help others and do good.
    Help us to see the needs we can meet, to perceive the ways we can serve, and then give us the true spirit of ministry so that we may do the things that will bless others. Fill us with Your Spirit so that we may be like You. We ask all this in the name of our Savior. Amen.
Then we have the third heaven or paradise where God dwells (2 Corinthians 12:2). *"For the first heaven and the first earth were passed away"*. The first two heavens were passed away except the third heaven. 2 Peter 3:12, 13 reveals how this will happen. *"….. wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. "*. The earth and the heavens will be destroyed through fervent heat. Jesus Himself confirmed that heaven and earth with all their structures, beauties, learnings and philosophies shall all pass away except the Word of God (Matthew 5:18, 24:35). In fact, all the human bodies will give way to eternal and indestructible bodies. Thus, what Apostle John saw was the giving away of all things that are visible and temporary for things that are eternal. b. *"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven"*. The earthly Jerusalem was referred to as the city of the Great King (Psalm 48:2, Matthew 5:35). This is referring to the Millennium holy Jerusalem from where Jesus will rule the whole world physically. John the apostle said that Jerusalem ceased to exist, but gave way to a completely New Jerusalem. This New Jerusalem was seen coming *"out of heaven"*. Obviously, it is seen coming from the third heaven which is the eternal throne of God. He used the imagery of the beauty of a bride coming to meet the husband to describe the beauty of heaven. This is the best description human language can give. *Prepared as a bride adorned for her husband"*. He then heard the voice of God announcing the plan of God right from eternity. What was that plan? That God will physically, live among men as King over loving subjects; as Father over His children in a happy family set up and as God over His redeemed and people. *"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God"*. This is the beginning of heaven, happy and holy eternity. *Question* Are you getting prepared for heaven in the practical sense of it? If Not, then you don't actually, believe in heaven. *2. Pacification with Happiness* a. The Apostle further gave a glimpse of how we will feel in heaven. *"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes"*. Tears of sorrow, anguish, lost loved ones, physical and psychological pains, etc.will all be forgotten. This is difficult to imagine for man. It is like imagining how God promised that *"your sins and iniquities will I remember no more"*. We don't have a problem with God forgiving our sins, but God forgetting our sins will be difficult to imagine. We will all forget the painful past as we will be overwhelmed with the glory of God for eternity. *"There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away"*. The pains and the tears, called *"light afflictions"* will be for a moment. They will not survive the joy of eternity. b. For those who have difficulty with believing, *"he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful"*. Heaven is prepared already. When Jesus Christ was about going to heaven, He assured the disciples of going to build mansions for them. About 60 years later, when John saw the revelation, he was told by the Lord that it was done. It means it is a settled and concluded matter. *"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end"*. In heaven there will not be any heat or tension, but total refreshments and happiness. *"I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely"*. Everything God has will be totally ours. All the gifts of God, physical or spiritual, will belong to us as possessions. Nothing needed or useful will be denied. We suffer different lacks while on earth. Heaven will be the opposite. *"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son"*. Are you an overcomer over sin, Satan and all his temptations? *Question* What are the things you are suffering on earth? Do you see them as temporary? *3. Punishment of Hell* What are the things that will disqualify any from entering heaven? What would be the abode of those who will miss heaven? The answer is fearful. *"But the fearful, and unbelieving"*. Every evil action stems from fear and unbelief. Unbelief of what God has spoken and the consequences of disobedience, fear of man and what man can do are terrible paralysing feelings that draw men to perdition. *"And the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars"*. Notice that all those sins are now also found inside the Church among professing saints. So there will be eternal surprises when those who profess that heaven is their home find themselves in a totally different place called hell. They *"shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone*. *Question* Are you transparently free from all sins? *Prayer Points* 1.Give praises to God that you are in that number saved by grace 🙏. 2.Ask God to search your life, expose, purge and cleanse you from all disqualifying habits 🙏. 3.Pray that the vision of heaven will get brighter and brighter to you and your mind and affections will be focused on heavenly things 🙏. 4.Pray that all believers will be delivered from all forms of self deception and will take entering heaven more seriously 🙏. *HYMN:* How Beautiful Heaven Must Be. *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOB 16-18. Despite his death, Harper used his final moments to preach the gospel, expressing his deep assurance that beyond death lay a place of eternal peace. A rescued survivor testified that Harper, clinging to the wreckage, asked if he was saved and urged him to believe in Jesus Christ. The survivor later accepted Christ and called himself "the last convert of John Harper."* *Today's passage paints a breath-taking vision of the new heaven and new earth. John sees the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending from God, adorned like a bride. A powerful voice declares that God will dwell among His people, wiping away every tear. Death, mourning, crying, and pain will be gone forever. The former things will pass away, and everything will be made new. God, the Alpha and Omega, promises the water of life to those who thirst. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. ⏤ Galatians 5:13 Let your religion be less of a theory and more of a love affair. ⏤ G.K. Chesterton O God, who has redeemed us by the precious blood of the Lamb, help us to live for Your praise and glory in all that we do. Since Jesus Christ has died for us and we are not our own, we want to live lives worthy of Your holiness. We confess and renounce all our sins. Teach us to hate sin and give us the grace to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, to the glory of Your holy name. We ask You to reveal Yourself to us this morning as we go forth and to give us the assurance of Your presence. You have promised that as our days are, so shall our strength be, and that Your grace will always be sufficient for us. We cling to these promises as we enter a new day whose experiences we cannot predict. We do not know what dangers we will encounter, what burdens will be placed on us, what temptations will whisper in our ears, what pitfalls will lie in our path, or what insidious influences will threaten the purity of our souls. So we hide ourselves in You and trust You to keep us safe all day. We desire to be useful and helpful to others. Save us from selfishness and self-centeredness. Teach us the great lesson of service. May we have the mind of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. May we serve one another in love. May we live to help others and do good. Help us to see the needs we can meet, to perceive the ways we can serve, and then give us the true spirit of ministry so that we may do the things that will bless others. Fill us with Your Spirit so that we may be like You. We ask all this in the name of our Savior. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/39/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion.
  • The Attraction Of Distraction
    • Adam and Eve were distracted by satan in the garden of Eden.
    o Genesis 2:15-17
     And YHWH Elohim took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And YHWH Elohim commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
    o Genesis 3:1-5 Eve is deceived by satan.
    o Genesis 3:6-7 Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit.
     And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
    • Satan puts distractions in front of us whenever he can.
    • You see, satan is a master of distraction
    o Example: My wife and I went out to eat at a restaurant recently a TV was on behind both of us and could easily distract us.
    • We’ve been in restaurants have TV’s all over the place.
    • You can’t go anywhere without seeing a TV. (Dr.’s office, auto shop, bank, etc.)
    • This isn’t the only way that satan has to distract us.
    • This is BIG distraction (Pull out cell phone).
    o You might say “Isn’t having a cell phone a good thing?”
     “We can keep in touch with our children and spouse when we’re not together.”
     “We can get ahold of our family in an emergency!”
     “We can keep in contact with friends.”
    o I’m not saying that all these are not a good reason to have a cell phone.
    o I’m saying satan can use your cell phone as a distraction.
     You get a notification and you become distracted
    • During prayer. You look to see what it is.
    • During service.
    • In the middle of family time.
    • Satan uses distractions to get our minds off our main goal (This happened while I was typing this line for my teaching! My phone buzzed as I was typing this line and I was about to stop and check my phone).
    • Distracts us from what?
    o A total dedication of ourselves to Yahwah
     Praying
     Reading the word
     Witnessing to the lost
     Spending time with family and friends
     Taking care of the sick and needy in our neighborhoods
    • Matthew 13:18-23 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
    • Psalms 88:15 I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted (H6323 A primitive root meaning to turn, that is, be perplexed.)
    • 1 Corinthians 7:35 And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
    Will our planet be the “new earth” after Jesus’ second coming?
    August 11th, 2026
    God created Eden and the rest of our world with perfection and beauty, but then sin came and polluted the earth. The Lord’s plan was corrupted, perverted, and tainted by the devil. However, Satan will not ultimately confound God’s plan. The Lord is going to create a new heaven (a new atmosphere) and a new earth.
    The Bible teaches that someday “the meek … shall inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5). It’s pretty clear that, right now, proud and controlling people mostly rule the Earth. But someday, this will change. Daniel says, “The kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High” (Daniel 7:27). The Earth will not be in the same condition that it is now, for the Lord will make “a new heaven and a new earth” (Revelation 21:1).
    The apostle Peter encourages us, “We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells” (2 Peter 3:13). When will this take place? First, the righteous will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air at the second coming of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:17). Then they will spend a millennium in heaven, living and reigning with Jesus (Revelation 20:4).
    At the end of the millennium in heaven, John writes, “I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven” (Revelation 21:2). The New Jerusalem is the city of God, and its new home will be this planet. There will be no pollution; it will be this Earth made new. In this new home, “They shall build houses and inhabit them, they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit” and “the wolf and the lamb shall feed together” (Isaiah 65:21, 25). Our new home will be a real place!
  • HEAVEN IS YOU OR ME IN CHRIST THE MESSIAH
    Many people carry misplaced understanding of the Bible. How? When they asked Jesus Christ about the Kingdom of God , HE said that it is here and now which means that when you accept the Messiah by being sorry for your sins, confessing them and allowing Christ into your dead spirit or soul then a rebirth that is heaven sets in. HEAVEN is simply delight or Garden of Eden or soul plus spirit plus body of peace and joy in God. The heaven that is you and the heaven of being with God or in the bosom of God like Father Abraham. That's why our master and King taught us simple prophesy of the kingdom in the LORD'S prayer :"Let they kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven". (Matthew 6:7 - 14,,10)The first
    kingdom of God that should come is on earth, focusing on you as an individual and expanding to others and to the outermost parts of the earth. The second kingdom is when we leave this world then the resurrection and the eternal dominion in Christ's presence. Every prayer that we pray must cover all these areas of heavenly realm. You can't pray only for the wealth of the world, protection, or everything concerning the world without praying for future unseen activities or the whole heavenly plans of God. You pray for yourself as heaven because you carry light and this light carrying is equivalent to you as salt of the earth which is why the scripture says that out of your belly or my belly shall flow rivers of living water. The belly herein is your soul and Spirit and physical body that carry the Holy Spirit of God after acquiring Acts 2:1 ff experience then you're confirmed just as our master who sets the pace was in the Baptism and Transfiguration. Acts 2 is the stamp and mark of God that you have been made in the image of God which is equivalent to carrying heaven in earthly vessels. As a heaven, you are no longer human because you carry God just like the ark of God and the Ark of Noah that teach and represent a prophetic reality. You as Ark of Noah must be willing to carry every living thing in your sojourn by feeding, taking care of them, protecting them and loving them like Noah did for those days the Ark was on the water. The Water that kept them afloat represent the Living Water (Let the Living Water flow over my soul; Let the Holy Spirit come and take control.... all my cares and burdens I lay on to you -Jesus Christ -) or Holy Spirit or Jesus Christ same as the Ark that carried them just as being in the cleft if the Rock. Remember that Moses was also hid in the Cleft of the Rock because he wasn't pure enough to behold God or Christ's glory as a brazen personality of Spirit. As a clay carrying heaven, our lives must never be ours again which is the mistake many seasoned men and women of God make and are still where they are defecating constant spiritual defecation (the life of randometricity which was the vocabulary of the Holy Spirit to me years back which is not in any dictionary on earth now). As heaven, we are now the Ark of God as the firmer ark of wood has no relevance now because God has left that Ark empty but dwelling in us which is Immanuel or Emmanuel and rightly put is God in man dwelleth. As heaven in earthen vessels we are gods or little gods carved out of the breath of God for God put HIs life force in man at creation before sin and came back passing through the cross to deposit it back again.
The Water that kept them afloat represent the Living Water (Let the Living Water flow over my soul; Let the Holy Spirit come and take control.... all my cares and burdens I lay on to you -Jesus Christ -) or Holy Spirit or Jesus Christ same as the Ark that carried them just as being in the cleft if the Rock. Remember that Moses was also hid in the Cleft of the Rock because he wasn't pure enough to behold God or Christ's glory as a brazen personality of Spirit. As a clay carrying heaven, our lives must never be ours again which is the mistake many seasoned men and women of God make and are still where they are defecating constant spiritual defecation (the life of randometricity which was the vocabulary of the Holy Spirit to me years back which is not in any dictionary on earth now). As heaven, we are now the Ark of God as the firmer ark of wood has no relevance now because God has left that Ark empty but dwelling in us which is Immanuel or Emmanuel and rightly put is God in man dwelleth. As heaven in earthen vessels we are gods or little gods carved out of the breath of God for God put HIs life force in man at creation before sin and came back passing through the cross to deposit it back again.
