  • Winning Souls for Christ – Our Divine Assignment!

    Winning souls for Christ is not the job of only pastors, prophets, or evangelists—it is the calling of every believer.

    The moment you gave your life to Christ, you were commissioned as His ambassador on earth.

    Jesus did not save us just to go to heaven alone; He saved us to bring others with us.

    Proverbs 11:30 says:
    “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he that winneth souls is wise.”

    Soul-winning is not a suggestion. It is a command, a responsibility, and an expression of love.

    1. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WIN SOULS?

    To win a soul is to bring someone from darkness into the light of Christ, from sin into salvation, from eternal separation into eternal life with God.

    Daniel 12:3 says:
    “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”

    Every soul matters to God. Jesus left the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep (Luke 15:4). This is the heart of God toward the lost.

    If God values one soul so much, how much more should we?

    2. THE GREAT COMMISSION – OUR MANDATE

    Matthew 28:19–20
    "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you."

    This is not only for missionaries—it is for:

    * Students

    * Traders and business people

    * Engineers

    * Teachers

    * Parents

    * Youths

    Wherever you are, that is your mission field.

    Church is not a hiding place—it is a training ground.

    3. WHY MUST WE WIN SOULS?

    Because hell is real – Matthew 25:41

    Because Jesus died for all – John 3:16

    Because time is short – Hebrews 9:27

    Because we will give account – Ezekiel 3:18

    Because heaven rejoices for one soul – Luke 15:7

    If one soul gives heaven joy, then one soul must also matter to us.

    4. HOW DO WE WIN SOULS FOR CHRIST?

    a) By Living It First
    Your life is the first sermon people read.

    Matthew 5:16
    "Let your light so shine before men…"

    A holy and loving lifestyle opens hearts before your mouth speaks.

    b) By Telling the Gospel Simply
    You don’t need big grammar, only a big heart.

    Romans 10:14
    "How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?"

    Share:

    What Jesus did for you

    Why you chose Him

    How they can come to Him

    c) By Praying for Souls
    Prayer softens hearts and opens doors.

    Colossians 4:3
    "Praying… that God would open unto us a door of utterance."

    d) By Showing Love and Compassion
    People listen more to love than to noise.

    Jude 1:23
    "Save with compassion, pulling them out of the fire."

    5. REWARDS FOR SOUL WINNERS

    Eternal crown – 1 Thessalonians 2:19

    Divine favor

    Heavenly stars – Daniel 12:3

    Joy on earth and in heaven

    God’s approval

    When you win souls, you touch the heart of God.

    6. BARRIERS THAT STOP SOUL-WINNING

    Fear of rejection

    Lack of boldness

    Love for comfort

    Lack of compassion

    Spiritual laziness

    But 2 Timothy 1:7 says:
    "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power…”

    Fear is not your master—Christ is.

    7. YOUR CONFESSION TODAY

    Say this prayer in your heart:

    “Lord Jesus, give me a heart for souls.
    Make me a light in darkness.
    Give me boldness, wisdom, and love
    to win many to Your kingdom.
    Use me as Your vessel,
    In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

    CONCLUSION

    You may not be a preacher in a pulpit yet, but you are already a preacher in your world.

    A true Christian is not known by how much Bible he knows, but by how many lives he influences for Christ.

    One day, someone will enter heaven and say:
    “Because you spoke to me, I am here.”

    Let that be your testimony.

    1 Corinthians 9:22
    "…That I might by all means save some."

    Now go and WIN SOULS FOR CHRIST!

  • Rescue the Perishing — A Call to Win Souls for Christ

    The heartbeat of God is the salvation of souls.

    From Genesis to Revelation, one theme rings loudly: God wants to save the lost.

    Every believer is called, commanded, and commissioned to bring sinners to Christ.

    We are saved to save others. We are delivered to deliver others. We are rescued to rescue the perishing.

    Proverbs 24:11 says,
    “Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter.”
    This is a divine assignment for all believers.

    1. THE CONDITION OF THE PERISHING

    John 3:18 – “He who does not believe is condemned already.”

    The perishing are not just going to be condemned; they are condemned already.

    Sin has blinded them (2 Corinthians 4:4).

    They are walking in darkness (John 12:46).

    Their souls are at the edge of eternal destruction.

    The tragedy is not that they are sinners, but that no one is reaching out to them.

    If we keep quiet, souls will keep dying.

    2. THE COMPASSION OF CHRIST

    Matthew 9:36 – “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion…”

    Jesus did not just look at sinners — He felt for them.

    His compassion pushed Him into action.

    * He preached to them

    * He healed them

    * He loved them

    * He sought them out (Luke 19:10)

    When compassion fills your heart, evangelism becomes natural.

    We must ask God for a fresh burden for lost souls.

    3. THE COMMISSION TO ALL BELIEVERS

    Mark 16:15 – “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

    Soul winning is not a gift.
    Soul winning is not a calling for pastors alone.
    Soul winning is not optional.

    It is a command.

    Three truths every believer must know:

    A. We Are Christ’s Ambassadors

    (2 Corinthians 5:20)
    We represent Christ. We speak on His behalf. We plead with sinners: “Be reconciled to God!”

    B. We Are Watchmen

    (Ezekiel 3:17–18)
    If we fail to warn the wicked and they perish, their blood will be required from us.

    C. We Are Light in Darkness

    (Matthew 5:14–16)
    Light is useless if hidden. Our faith must lead others to Christ.

    4. WHY WE MUST RESCUE THE PERISHING

    A. Because Hell is Real (Luke 16:23–24)
    A place of torment, regret, and eternal separation from God.

    B. Because Time is Short (Romans 13:11)
    Every minute a soul goes into eternity — saved or lost.

    C. Because Heaven Rejoices Over One Soul (Luke 15:7)
    Every soul matters to God. Every soul is worth heaven’s celebration.

    D. Because Someone Once Helped Us
    We are saved today because someone preached, prayed, or invited us.

    We owe this generation the gospel.

    5. HOW TO RESCUE THE PERISHING

    A. Pray for Souls (Romans 10:1)
    Every revival begins on the prayer altar.

    B. Preach the Gospel (Romans 1:16)
    Share the message of Christ boldly and lovingly.

    C. Live as a Witness (Matthew 5:16)
    Your lifestyle can draw or push people from Christ.

    D. Go after the Lost Intentionally (Luke 14:23)
    “Compel them to come in.”

    E. Use Every Tool Available

    * Social media

    * Tracts

    * Phone calls

    * Personal conversation

    * Crusades

    * House-to-house evangelism

    * Invitations to church

    Nothing must be wasted.

    6. THE REWARD FOR SOUL WINNERS

    A. Divine Wisdom (Proverbs 11:30)
    “He that wins souls is wise.”

    B. Stars in Your Crown (Daniel 12:3)
    You will shine forever.

    C. Divine Provision (Luke 22:35)
    Soul winners never lack.

    D. God’s Special Presence (Matthew 28:20)
    “I am with you always…”

    Nothing attracts God like rescuing the perishing.

    Souls are dying. Hell is enlarging itself. Heaven is waiting.

    And Christ is asking: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” (Isaiah 6:8)

    Will you answer the call today?

    Let this be your declaration:
    “Lord, make me a soul winner. Use me to rescue the perishing.”

    ALTAR CALL
    If you are not born again, Jesus is calling you now.
    Accept Him, and join the army that rescues others.
