Gods Creation, 100 / evolution, 0 WHY DID T. REX HAVE TINY ARMS? Few animals capture the imagination quite like Tyrannosaurus rex. It's one of the most recognizable dinosaurs in the world. Towering over the landscape with a massive skull and bone-crushing jaws, one feature has puzzled scientists for decades: those tiny little arms. A new study claims to have solved the mystery. After examining the skulls and forelimbs of dozens of meat-eating dinosaurs, researchers found that species with larger, more robust skulls generally had smaller arms. From that relationship, they proposed that as these dinosaurs supposedly changed over millions of years, the head gradually became the primary weapon while the forelimbs became less important. It's an interesting observation, but does that explanation really follow? The study identified a relationship between skull size and arm size. It didn't discover how that relationship came to be. Instead, the evolutionary story is added afterward because that's the framework through which the evidence is being interpreted. But there's another explanation that's much simpler. Think about a playground teeter-totter. If one side becomes much heavier, the other side has to compensate or everything falls out of balance. A two-legged dinosaur faces the same engineering challenge. Its head, neck, torso, hips, legs, tail, and forelimbs all have to work together to keep its center of gravity exactly where it belongs. A massive skull combined with equally massive forelimbs would place tremendous weight toward the front of the animal. Something else would have to compensate. The tail would need to become larger, the hips would need to change, or the body would become increasingly unstable. Suddenly those tiny arms don't seem strange at all. They make perfect engineering sense as part of a balanced, integrated body. The researchers also describe the arms as "reduced" or "vestigial," yet they still don't know exactly what purpose those arms served. History has shown why we should be cautious with that conclusion. Again and again, structures once dismissed as evolutionary leftovers have later been found to perform important functions. The difference ultimately comes down to where we begin. If evolution is the starting point, then every feature must somehow be explained through millions of years of gradual change. But if we begin where Scripture begins, with God as Creator, then coordinated engineering is exactly what we should expect. The Bible tells us God created every creature according to its kind during Creation Week. From that perspective, T. rex wasn't a work in progress. It was created as a complete, fully functional animal whose skull, arms, legs, hips, and tail all worked together from the very beginning. The word "dinosaur" wasn't even invented until 1842. Before that, these incredible creatures would simply have been known as dragons, great beasts, or perhaps even among the kinds of magnificent animals described in passages like Behemoth in the book of Job. Whatever name people used, they were part of the "very good" creation God made during Creation Week. The tiny arms of Tyrannosaurus rex aren't evidence of a failed evolutionary experiment. They are another reminder that God's creation displays remarkable engineering, thoughtful design, and purpose, even in places where scientists are still searching for answers.

Instead, whale milk is extraordinarily rich, containing roughly 35-50% fat depending on the species, compared to about 3-5% fat in human milk. Its thick, paste-like consistency helps it stay together underwater so the calf can consume it rather than watching it wash away. This nutrient-dense milk fuels incredible growth. A blue whale calf can gain 150-200 pounds every day, drinking well over 100 gallons (400+ liters) of milk daily during its first months of life. A whale calf is typically born tail first, helping prevent drowning during delivery while its head remains inside the mother until the final moments of birth. From birth to feeding, every detail is perfectly suited for life in the sea. These coordinated systems had to work together from the very beginning. MANY OF us remember singing in church, ‘Every promise in the Book is mine!’ Exciting words—but are they entirely true? If you’ve prayed for the fulfilment of a Bible promise that didn’t materialise, you may have wondered, felt disillusioned, or even stopped trusting. What’s true is that every promise in the Book intended for you, is yours! God is committed to keeping every promise He has made (Matthew 24:35). So how can you know which Bible promises are yours? Here are some scriptural guidelines to help you: 1) Be sure you understand the promise. God is committed to His Word, not to your interpretation of it. When Jesus said, ‘…Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up’ (John 2:19 NKJV), His audience completely misunderstood Him, thinking He meant the literal temple when He meant His body. 2) Walk in the Spirit, not the flesh. Walking in the Spirit, Peter received divine understanding of Christ’s deity. When Jesus asked, ‘Who do you say I am?’ Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’ Jesus replied, ‘…this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father…’ (Matthew 16:15-17 NIV). Soon afterwards, walking in the flesh, the same man totally misunderstood Jesus and was severely rebuked by Jesus (Matthew 16:21-23). Why? This alone creates a problem for the idea that behavior slowly evolved through experimentation trial and error over millions of years. Learning requires time, failure, and correction. Instincts do not. They activate on schedule, execute correctly the first time, and often determine survival within minutes or hours of birth. Sea turtle hatchlings, moments after emerging from the sand, orient themselves toward the ocean using light reflection and magnetic cues they have never encountered before. No parent teaches them. No rehearsal occurs. The neural circuitry is already in place. Likewise, newly hatched cuckoo birds instinctively push rival eggs out of the nest within hours of hatching, despite being blind and featherless. This behavior is precise, timed, and goal directed without learning. Salmon raised in hatcheries and released into rivers still return years later to the exact stream of their birth to spawn, guided by an internal navigation system that includes olfactory memory and geomagnetic sensing. Orb weaving spiders spin mathematically precise webs the very first time they attempt it. Honeybees perform waggle dances that encode distance and direction before they have ever observed another bee do it. And these are just a few examples among many! These behaviors require integrated sensory systems, motor control, timing, and interpretation from the start. Programmed behavior points to preloaded information. Information does not arise from chance. Instincts are evidence of foresight, not improvisation. Scripture aligns with what we observe. Job 38 asks who gives the ibis wisdom and who gives the rooster understanding. Proverbs 30 speaks of creatures that act wisely though they are small. These animals do not learn their roles. They are equipped for them. Instinct is not evolution practicing. It is design executing.

He equipped these birds with astonishing eyesight, roughly four times sharper than ours. From a thousand feet in the air, an eagle can pick out a rabbit roaming anywhere within a three-square-mile area. That kind of precision is no accident. It is design. Here are a few more remarkable facts about eagles: Bald eagles are not bald. Their snowy white head feathers contrast with their dark brown bodies, creating the appearance of a bare head. The longest recorded lifespan for an eagle is 38 years. Eagles build some of the largest nests in the bird world. Most are 2 to 4 feet deep and 4 to 5 feet wide, but the biggest ever found measured 20 feet deep and 9.5 feet wide and weighed more than two tons. Female eagles are larger than males. Bald eagles live only in North America. Scripture captures their majesty perfectly: “Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up and makes his nest on high? On the rock he dwells and makes his home, on the rocky crag and stronghold. From there he spies out the prey; his eyes behold it from far away.” Job 39:27 through 29 KJV

Christianity is inherently divisive, and that division is by design. It draws a bright line between right and wrong, good and evil, and calls people to love what pleases God rather than what merely pleases human appetites or cultural fashion. The Gospel centers on the fact that Christ suffered bodily for our sins while keeping His soul pure and undefiled. Modern culture has inverted this. Instead of recognizing that we are not required to suffer for others’ sins in the same redemptive way, many now compel their own minds, hearts, and consciences to accept, celebrate, and affirm those sins. We treat affirmation as compassion and judgment as the only real offense. Nowhere is this inversion clearer than in the widespread celebration of hedonism, homosexuality, abortion, sexual perversion, no-fault divorce, and other practices Scripture identifies as contrary to God’s design. These are frequently defended with the claim that “people are just being themselves” or “we are not God and therefore must not judge.” Both claims collapse under scrutiny: personal authenticity does not override moral reality, and the biblical command is not to refrain from all moral discernment but to judge with right judgment while leaving final condemnation to God. In short, the faith that once distinguished light from darkness is now pressured to erase the distinction in the name of kindness. That is not an evolution of Christianity; it is its negation. It is rejection of the gift Christ and his message!

It dangles this appendage from its head that lights up so other fish are lured in making it so much easier for the anglerfish to hunt when the unsuspecting fish come too close. Did this just magically appear after supposed millions of years while the angler fish just starved it out? Not a chance. The angler fish also has a very strange mating strategy. When the male latches onto the female, it never lets go, and slowly will morph his body into hers, becoming one single fish with a new circulatory system and everything! I'd like to see the evolutionist explain this one! Again, not a chance! Created, not evolved.

These people were not primitive. They were calculating, designing, and engineering with a level of precision that still impresses modern scholars. This is the mathematical world Moses grew up in before he wrote Genesis. So, the tired atheist cliché that biblical figures were "clueless goat herders" can be dismissed.
