  • I guess I can't upload the daily passage posts that I make anymore like I have been. Here you can't share them or save them for yourself either and Lordsbook puts their logo on them kinda claiming ownership anyway so I think I'll just keep it all on my other platforms, way too many limitations going on here unfortunately, and I can't post the videos I create either. You can find my images and videos that are freely sharable on Facebook, Instagram & Tiktok and my name is the same: Lisa ForeverFaithful if anyone wants to. God bless you all!

  • Why Settle for Fleeting Fame When You Can Reign Forever?
The world’s version of “success” is like a Snapchat story—here one second, gone the next. But John’s message reminds us: Do God’s will, and you’ll abide forever! It’s like choosing between a crown that rusts and a crown that shines for eternity. Choose your crown wisely!

  • Thoughts for today:
Many things come to mind when we reflect on what Jesus went through on the cross. How He went through such horrible physical pain, the emotional weight of the world's sin upon Him, the hatred from those who wanted Him dead even though His message was of love, the blindness of those who could not or refused to see that The Son of God - the Savior of the world - was right before their faces in the flesh, and the list goes on and on of what He chose to bear.

This morning as all these things were brought to my mind and heart, one thing that was highlighted in my thoughts that doesn't seem to get talked about much is the patience of it all.

Knowing all the horrific things He was going to face, knowing that He would be rejected, mocked, abused, hated & tortured to death, He still chose to go through it all for us, patiently trying to teach love to a broken world in which most didn't want to hear any of it. The patience of doing and saying things at the perfect time, down to the moment He took His last breath on the cross is just mind blowing. He could've stopped it all at any moment, had enough and said it is finished way before He did, but He waited, patiently, until the right time. And here we are as a people who get impatient with the most pointless & ridiculous things to get worked up about. Things like traffic, a package that didn't arrive on time, someone not responding to a call quick enough or whatever it may be... we get so impatient.

Our goal as His followers is to be more like Him, to let His light shine through us no matter what, and I think His characteristic of patience kinda gets overlooked. I know I struggle with patience, it's definitely not one of my strengths but it is something I've been working on especially in the last few years and by His work in me I've gotten better with it, but I still have a long way to go before I could ever claim that I'm a patient person.

These teaching moments we are given are such a blessing, even when they make us reflect on the parts of ourselves we aren't proud of. In my quiet time this morning I was so grateful for all this being brought to my attention and I don't know if it was just for me or not, but I do feel led to share & hope it helps someone else out there today to be more patient also.

    Galatians 5:22-25
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, LONGSUFFERING, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
