  • “A Jesus who never wept could never wipe away my tears.”
— Charles H. Spurgeon

What a powerful reminder of the compassion of our Savior.
Jesus is not distant from our pain. He is not untouched by grief, loss, sorrow, or heartbreak. He does not look at our tears with indifference. He entered into this broken world, felt the weight of suffering, stood beside the grieving, and wept.

Because Jesus wept, we know He understands.
He understands the ache that words cannot explain.
He understands the heaviness of a weary heart.
He understands what it feels like to stand at the place of sorrow.
He understands the tears we cry in private and the burdens we carry quietly.

But the beauty of Christ is not only that He weeps with us — it is that

He has the power to wipe our tears away.

The same Jesus who stood at Lazarus’ tomb and wept is the same Jesus who called him out of the grave. The same Savior who draws near to the brokenhearted is the same Savior who brings resurrection, hope, healing, and peace.

Your tears are not ignored by God.
Your pain is not too small for His care.
Your grief is not too heavy for His grace.
Your sorrow is not the end of the story.

We serve a Savior who is both tender enough to weep with us and mighty enough to redeem what has broken us.

So today, bring Him your tears. Bring Him your questions. Bring Him your grief. Bring Him the places that still hurt. He is not ashamed of your sorrow, and He is not absent in your suffering.

    Jesus sees.
Jesus cares.
Jesus weeps with us.
And one day, He will wipe away every tear.

    “Jesus wept.”
— John 11:35

If you are walking through a hard season, may you be reminded today that Christ is near, compassionate, and faithful.

  • God’s Greatness and Nearness

“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”
    A. W. Tozer

God is beyond all we can imagine. He is limitless in power, wisdom, and presence. As Psalm 147:5 says, “Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.”

Yet the beauty of God’s greatness is not just seen in His power, but in how He chooses to use it. God does not use His greatness to dominate or control. He uses it to love, to serve, and to draw near to humanity.

This is greatness redefined: Power that lays itself down.
Might that kneels to wash feet.
Divinity that gives itself for others.

Philippians 2:6–7 reminds us that although Christ was God, He humbled Himself and took the nature of a servant.

The God who created the universe is also deeply personal. From the beginning, He formed humanity with care and breathed life into us (Genesis 2:7). He is not distant or detached—He is near.

The clearest picture of God’s nearness is Jesus Christ: “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” — John 1:14

The infinite God stepped into human history so we could know Him personally.

What an incredible truth: The God who is above all is also close to all.

“Come near to God and He will come near to you.” — James 4:8

  • GOD DOESN’T IGNORE YOUR SILENCE

There are prayers you never said out loud…
    Tears nobody saw…
Battles you tried to hide behind a smile…

But GOD saw ALL of it.

    Even in your quietest moments…
    Even in your darkest nights…
Even when you felt completely alone…

    HE NEVER LEFT YOU.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted…” — Psalm 34:18

God hears the prayers whispered through tears.
He sees the pain hidden behind silence.
And He is working in ways you can’t even see yet.

    Your silence is not weakness.
    Your waiting is not wasted.
Your story is still being written by GOD.

    Hold on.
    Keep praying.
Keep trusting Him through the silence.

Because sometimes GOD does His greatest work in the moments nobody else understands.

If GOD has carried you through silent battles, drop a or in the comments!!

  • Even here… God hasn’t let go of you.

In the quiet breaking, in the tears no one sees, in the moments you feel undone—
    you are still held.

    Not barely… not temporarily…
    but fully, faithfully, and forever.

He is closer than the pain.
He is stronger than what’s trying to break you.

    Hold on… He’s holding you.
