Later in Paul's ministry, he spoke warmly of Mark and recognized him as valuable for ministry, showing that God's grace brought restoration over time. This passage reminds us that even sincere believers can experience disagreements. While conflict should never be desired, God is able to accomplish His purposes despite our imperfections. He calls us to extend grace, seek reconciliation whenever possible, and remain committed to His mission.
