• ACTIVITIES OF MR. FLESH ~ GBILE AKANNI

    SCRIPTURE READING: GALATIANS 5:19-21.

We want to look at God's provision for old life of flesh, is there a way out and if there is a way out how can we get at it.

We don't just want knowledge but the issue that God want you to do must go beyond just the knowledge, it must become an impartation, no man can do it for us except the Lord Himself help us.

Gal. 5:19-21, the Philip Modern Language explain this passage as thus : " The activities of a lower nature are obvious, here is a list: sexual immortality, impurity of mind, sensuality, worship of false god, witchcraft, hatred, strife, jealousy, bad temper, rivalry, factions, partying spirit, envy, drunkenness, all these things like that.
Verse 21- I solemnly assure you that those who do such things will not inherit God's kingdom "._

What bothers me most is the conclusion in verse 21, if the word is as it was put in this serves some of those things we said it is not matter is capable of denying one of God's kingdom.

What you will look at casually and said it's just a mistake might be a very critical matter that will jeopardize all our effort in the work of God. We want to look at what is God doing to liberate us from the dominion and the tyranny of flesh that is God's provision for our deliverance from the flesh.

The provision of the blood:- Immediately what happened in Genesis chapter 3 in the garden of Eden, God starts to look at what to do to redeem a man right from the beginning.
I want you to know that the heart of flesh cannot please God, it cannot serve God, in fact, anything flesh touches in the purpose of God is contaminated, anything that comes from the flesh cannot please God.
When man was trying to sown leaves to cover himself, God look far beyond, He slaughtered an animal to make skin, even this is not redemption.

In Genesis 3:22-24, God made a redemptive decision, God chased them away from the garden because He did not want to immortalise the flesh. From this passage God was saying though flesh took over, it must not live for ever, it means there is an end to Mr flesh.

There is an end God want us to experience to the works of flesh in our lives. Our priority is how God will bring flesh to an end in our lives. We don't want to suppress flesh, even though we suppress it for two or three years, the day it will wake up, it will still strike and spoil all you have done for years.
Imaging a man of God that has been keeping his lust for five years, checking himself not to allow lust, the day his lust rises, all the five years effort he had made is finished completely.

We are looking for a way out from God, if we say there is no way out, then our gospel is weak. If God is pointing to a man about what can send him to hell and He did not make a way of delivering him, so why is God saying it. Some of us may say nobody is free from this and you settled into it, I want to tell you that somebody can be freed, God had made provision for us to experience total deliverance.

Right in Genesis, God had instituted that there is going to be a way out when He drove the man from the garden of Eden not to take the tree of life and immortalise himself, God was saying He has not given up on man, I have a plan for him, am still going to use him in my ministry on earth.

From that chapter three all through the old testament, you will discover that the imagination of Mr flesh is continually evil and all efforts to help him no way, the flesh is actually untamed. If you notice how flesh operate, you will discover that so many things you do, you don't want to do it.

  • AGONY OF WASTED OPPORTUNITIES ~ Bro. Gbile Akanni

Looking at the life of Joshua, you will see the agony of years exhausted but unfinished task, the agony of an open heaven that was wasted.

God has given you an opportunity to do something in your generation, but it can be wasted or diverted such that God’s own result is not achieved. it is important for you to plead for grace not to waste your opportunity.

For Joshua, God gave him an uncontested, unlimited opportunity to do something for Him and to cause His will to be done.

God sent the hailstones and made the sun to stand still for him yet he did not maximise it, to the extent that at the later end of his life, God has to announced to him that he is old yet there are still very much land to posses.

You see, ignorant people may not know the length and breath of what God has called you to do but will be clapping and celebrating you based on their faulty and incomplete information. Your cry should be, oh God, don’t let it be that at my old age, when my useful years has finished you then begin to show me what I should have done that I didn’t do.

You may be doing something in God’s name but have you heard God’s verdict? The gift that God deposited in you, and the sword He kept in your hand, what have you accomplished with them?

This your celebration is over what?

Maybe you have wasted God’s open heaven.
If God gives you another open heaven, what will you do with it?

May what God has called you to do in your generation not die in your stomach.

  • I pray for you that you won’t come to that stage where your past Christian life is better than the present time you are in. And if that is your experience, the mercy of God will locate you right now. The grace to keep moving from grace to grace will come upon you, in Jesus name.

  • M3SPOT Kingdom Circle Daily Devotion
    Date: August 7, 2025
Theme: There Is Life in His Word
    Series: Living Supernaturally

    Scripture:
“For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.”
    — 1 Peter 1:23 (NIV)

Devotional Message: The Living Seed of God’s Word
God’s Word is not just ink on paper — it is alive. It carries within it the power to transform, to heal, to deliver, and to recreate. When you received Christ, it wasn’t a mere decision; it was a divine rebirth — a spiritual regeneration through the imperishable seed of God’s Word.

Unlike the words of men that fade or fail, His Word is eternal. It plants life in dead places. It doesn’t wither, weaken, or decay. That’s how powerful it is — and it’s the very foundation of your new life in Christ.

When you feed on His Word, you feed on life. You grow stronger. You rise above. You begin to walk in the supernatural — not because of who you are, but because of the life source within you.

Let the Word work in you:

    1. Recognize the Word as Seed
Every time you hear or read Scripture, seed is being sown. But seed must be planted in faith and nurtured by obedience.
“The seed is the word of God.” (Luke 8:11)

    2. Trust the Word to Do the Work
You don’t have to force transformation — let the Word work. It has life in itself.
“My word... shall not return to Me void.” (Isaiah 55:11)

    3. Stay Rooted in the Word
Many people want results without roots. Stay planted in the Word, and you’ll bear fruit in season.
“Those planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish.” (Psalm 92:13)

    4. Speak the Word Over Your Life
Don’t just read it — declare it. Speak life over your mind, your body, your future.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” (Proverbs 18:21)

    5. Guard What God Has Planted
Don’t let the enemy steal the Word from your heart. Water it with prayer. Protect it with faith.
“Hold fast the pattern of sound words.” (2 Timothy 1:13)

    Today’s Reminder:
You were born again through the living Word — that same Word still lives in you.
If it gave you life, it can sustain your life.
Hold on to it. Speak it. Live by it. There is life in His Word.

    Prayer Point:
    Father,
Thank You for the power of Your living Word.
Let it continue to work in me — transforming, renewing, and strengthening me daily.
Plant me deep in Your truth.
Help me to treasure Your Word and live by it.
Let my life bear fruit that glorifies You.
    In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    πŸ—£ Declaration of Faith:
I am born again by the living Word of God.
That Word is working in me — changing me from the inside out.
I have life, not by chance, but by divine seed.
I speak God’s Word and see results.
My roots go deep, and my fruit will remain.
