Through, Not Alone

(Isaiah 43:2 NKJV)

God does not promise a life without difficulty, but He does promise His presence in the midst of it. Isaiah 43:2 reminds us that trials are seasons we pass through, not places we remain. Waters rise, fires burn, but God walks with His people through every trial they face.

Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly assures His people that hardship does not separate them from His care. Israel passed through the Red Sea, not around it. The three Hebrew men walked through the fire, not away from it—and God was present in the flames. God’s presence does not always remove the trial, but it always limits its power.

Walking with God means trusting His nearness even when circumstances feel overwhelming. What threatens to consume us cannot overcome us when God is with us.
