• * DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 200*
    *DATE: 19TH JULY 2026*
    DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION
*TOPIC: THE MESSAGE OF THE LORD*
    *ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: JONAH 3:4 (NKJV)*
*And Jonah began to enter the city on the first day's walk. Then he cried out and said, 'Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!'"*
    *Devotional message:*

When God sent Jonah to Nineveh, the prophet initially resisted the assignment and attempted to flee from the presence of the Lord. Yet God's purpose could not be frustrated. After the Lord redirected him, Jonah faithfully proclaimed the message God had entrusted to him. The result was extraordinary. From the greatest to the least, the people of Nineveh believed God, humbled themselves with fasting, put on sackcloth, confessed their sins, and turned from their wicked ways. Even the king proclaimed a nationwide fast that extended to the animals. Seeing their genuine repentance, God showed them mercy and withheld the judgment He had intended to bring upon the city.

This reveals the heart of God. His desire is not merely to pronounce judgment but to bring people to repentance and reconciliation with Himself. Throughout Scripture, God's message has always been a call for men and women to turn from sin and return to Him.

The same pattern is seen in the ministry of John the Baptist. Emerging from the wilderness, his message was, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Many responded by confessing their sins and being baptized in preparation for the coming Messiah. Likewise, when Jesus began His public ministry, His central message was the proclamation of the Kingdom of God and the call to repentance. The message of heaven transformed hearts because it carried the authority and purpose of God.

After Christ's resurrection, He entrusted this same mission to His apostles. As they faithfully proclaimed the Gospel, God confirmed His Word with signs and wonders, and entire cities were transformed. Their effectiveness did not come from persuasive speech or popular ideas but from faithfully delivering the message the Lord had placed in their hearts.

This teaches us an important principle: every believer has been entrusted with a divine assignment and a message that God desires to communicate through his or her life. The power to transform lives does not lie in preaching what is popular, entertaining, or intellectually impressive, but in faithfully proclaiming what God has spoken.

Therefore, every preacher, teacher, worshipper, evangelist, and intercessor must cultivate intimacy with God. It is in His presence that we receive His heart and His message. Worship leaders must release the sound that heaven births within them rather than simply following what is trending. Intercessors must labor over the burdens that weigh upon God's heart rather than merely presenting personal desires. Ministers of the Word must proclaim God's truth rather than seeking the approval of people.

Child of God, spend quality time in God's presence. Let His Word shape your heart and His Spirit reveal His will. When you carry the message of the Lord instead of your own message, He will confirm it with His power, and lives will be transformed for His glory.

Lasting transformation comes when we faithfully proclaim the message God has entrusted to us rather than our own ideas or popular opinions.

    *Prayer:*

Heavenly Father, thank You for entrusting me with the privilege of representing You. Draw me into deeper intimacy with You so that I may know Your heart and faithfully proclaim Your message. Deliver me from the desire to please people, and help me to speak only what You have placed within my spirit. Let my life, my words, and my service turn many hearts back to You for the glory of Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  • Dear Father,

Absalom devised evil against his father, King David. He led a nationwide rebellion and tried to overthrow him. He slept with his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel, and even went to war against him. It seems quite extraordinary that a man would go to such lengths against his own blood, and I have often sought the reasoning behind it.

Something tragic transpired long before Absalom's rebellion. His own sister, Tamar, was raped by his half brother, Amnon, and the Scripture records, "Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house." King David, however, did absolutely nothing about it. The wounds of rape were not hidden in those days; they often left a woman without justice and with little hope of rebuilding her life.

Day after day, Absalom would look upon the face of his sister and ponder how one avoidable act had stolen her future. Then he would think of his father, King David, and his silence over all that had transpired. Perhaps daily, his resentment grew, eventually bearing the fruit of rebellion. Why, though, was David silent about what happened between Amnon and Tamar? Perhaps his own sin of taking another man's wife, Bathsheba, and his attempt to conceal it by murdering her husband weighed heavily upon him. Why correct a man whose need for grace is no less than your own?

Perhaps David was restrained by guilt. I think of how often we let our mistakes define and silence us. Unknown to us that, a hero with scars may be in the best position to guide one who has none.

  • Turkish authorities denied a planned stop for a chartered LGBTQ+ cruise carrying approximately 1,900 passengers, most of them Americans, according to local officials and the event organizer.
The Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady was scheduled to visit Kuşadası and Istanbul. However, officials in Turkey’s Aydın province said the group was “known for behaviors incompatible with the fabric of our society and our moral values,” and the planned port calls were canceled.
Turkey has no nationwide law prohibiting LGBTQ+ visitors, but government leaders have increasingly emphasized traditional family values in recent years. The decision has sparked discussion over the balance between a nation’s right to uphold its cultural standards and the expectations of international tourism.

SAME-SEX MARRIAGE—WHEN HUMAN LAW CHALLENGES GOD’S CREATED ORDER
Marriage belongs to the Creator—not to culture, courts, or changing society.

Beloved, the question is not: “What does society allow?”
The question is: “What did God create?”

    Human law may legalize.
    Culture may celebrate.
    Courts may redefine.
But no earthly power can rewrite the blueprint of Heaven.

“Male and female created he them.” — Genesis 1:27
“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife.” — Genesis 2:24

Jesus Himself pointed back to Eden:

“He which made them at the beginning made them male and female… For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife.” — Matthew 19:4–5

Christ did not redefine marriage. He restored it to creation: one man, one woman, one covenant, under God.
    ---

    MARRIAGE WAS CREATED BY GOD

Marriage did not begin in government.
It did not begin in culture.
It did not begin in courts.

    It began in Eden.

“God celebrated the first marriage. Thus the institution has for its originator the Creator of the universe.”
    — Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 46

“Marriage is honorable”; it was one of the first gifts of God to man.
    — The Adventist Home, p. 25

If God created marriage, man has no authority to redesign it.
    ---

SCRIPTURE DOES NOT SANCTIFY WHAT GOD FORBIDS

    The Bible speaks plainly:

“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” — Leviticus 18:22

“Even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men…” — Romans 1:26–27

“Be not deceived… nor abusers of themselves with mankind… shall inherit the kingdom of God.” — 1 Corinthians 6:9–10

But heaven’s mercy does not stop there:

“And such were some of you: but ye are washed… sanctified… justified in the name of the Lord Jesus.” — 1 Corinthians 6:11

God’s Word exposes sin—but Christ’s blood can cleanse every surrendered sinner.

    This is not hatred.
    This is not cruelty.
This is not permission to mock anyone.

Christians must love every soul—but we must never call sin holy.
    ---

    LEGAL DOES NOT MEAN HOLY

Same-sex marriage was first legalized in the Netherlands in 2001.
In the United States, it became nationwide in 2015 through Obergefell v. Hodges.

But legality is not the test of truth.

    Human law once protected slavery.
Human law once condemned Bible believers.
    Human law once crucified Christ.

“We ought to obey God rather than men.” — Acts 5:29

A thing can be legal before men and still be rebellion before God.
    ---

    THE REAL ISSUE IS AUTHORITY

If society can redefine marriage, what will it redefine next?

    Marriage?
    Gender?
    Family?
    Morality?
    Truth itself?

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil.” — Isaiah 5:20
“Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come.” — Revelation 14:7

When man removes God from morality, sin becomes policy and rebellion becomes progress.
    ---

    SODOM IS A WARNING

Sodom was not destroyed because God lacked love.
Sodom fell because sin became bold, public, and unrepented.

“The men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.” — Genesis 13:13

“Sodom and Gomorrha… going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example.” — Jude 7

“The sin of Sodom is the sin of many cities now in existence.”
    — Manuscript Releases, Vol. 4, p. 121

When a generation mocks warning and celebrates what God condemns, it is walking near the edge of judgment.
    ---

    ILLUSTRATION: THE BLUEPRINT

Imagine an architect giving builders the perfect blueprint.

    But the builders say:

    “We prefer our own design.”
    “We will move the foundation.”
    “We will change the structure.”
“We will still call it the same house.”

    Then the building collapses.

    Why?

Because sincerity cannot save a structure built against the blueprint.

    Marriage has a blueprint.
    The Architect is God.
No generation can safely rebuild what God has already defined.
    ---

    APPLICATION

    Christian, wake up.

Do not let culture disciple your conscience.
Do not let emotion erase Scripture.
Do not let “love” silence holiness.
Do not let compassion become agreement with sin.

We must be tender with people—
    but firm with truth.

    We must love sinners—
    but never bless rebellion.

    We must speak with tears—
    but still speak.

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” — John 17:17

A church that refuses to warn sinners is not loving—it is sleeping.

    THE REMEDY IS CHRIST

This message is not only warning.
    It is hope.

    Jesus can cleanse the broken.
    Jesus can restore the confused.
    Jesus can forgive the guilty.
    Jesus can transform the heart.
Jesus can make every surrendered soul new.

“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us… and to cleanse us.” — 1 John 1:9

The gospel does not leave people in sin.
It forgives, cleanses, restores, and transforms.
    ---

Beloved, this is not the hour for silent Christianity.

Human law is challenging God’s order.
    Culture is rewriting God’s design.
The world is calling rebellion love.

    But Heaven has not changed.

“Come out from among them, and be ye separate.” — 2 Corinthians 6:17
“Be ye also ready.” — Matthew 24:44

    Speak truth with love.
    Stand firm without hatred.
    Warn with tears.
    Pray with burden.
Call sinners to Christ—not to condemnation, but to cleansing.

Human law may redefine marriage, but Heaven still recognizes the blueprint of Eden: one man, one woman, one covenant, under one Creator. Therefore, repent while mercy still pleads, break away from every sin God condemns, return fully to Christ, and warn others before culture makes rebellion look like love and sin feel like righteousness.

Thus the institution has for its originator the Creator of the universe.” — Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 46 “Marriage is honorable”; it was one of the first gifts of God to man. — The Adventist Home, p. 25 If God created marriage, man has no authority to redesign it. --- SCRIPTURE DOES NOT SANCTIFY WHAT GOD FORBIDS The Bible speaks plainly: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” — Leviticus 18:22 “Even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men…” — Romans 1:26–27 “Be not deceived… nor abusers of themselves with mankind… shall inherit the kingdom of God.” — 1 Corinthians 6:9–10 But heaven’s mercy does not stop there: “And such were some of you: but ye are washed… sanctified… justified in the name of the Lord Jesus.” — 1 Corinthians 6:11 God’s Word exposes sin—but Christ’s blood can cleanse every surrendered sinner. This is not hatred. This is not cruelty. This is not permission to mock anyone. Christians must love every soul—but we must never call sin holy. --- LEGAL DOES NOT MEAN HOLY Same-sex marriage was first legalized in the Netherlands in 2001. In the United States, it became nationwide in 2015 through Obergefell v. Hodges. But legality is not the test of truth. Human law once protected slavery. Human law once condemned Bible believers. Human law once crucified Christ. “We ought to obey God rather than men.” — Acts 5:29 A thing can be legal before men and still be rebellion before God. --- THE REAL ISSUE IS AUTHORITY If society can redefine marriage, what will it redefine next? Marriage? Gender? Family? Morality? Truth itself? “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil.” — Isaiah 5:20 “Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come.” — Revelation 14:7 When man removes God from morality, sin becomes policy and rebellion becomes progress. --- SODOM IS A WARNING Sodom was not destroyed because God lacked love. Sodom fell because sin became bold, public, and unrepented. “The men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.” — Genesis 13:13 “Sodom and Gomorrha… going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example.” — Jude 7 “The sin of Sodom is the sin of many cities now in existence.” — Manuscript Releases, Vol. 4, p. 121 When a generation mocks warning and celebrates what God condemns, it is walking near the edge of judgment. --- ILLUSTRATION: THE BLUEPRINT Imagine an architect giving builders the perfect blueprint. But the builders say: “We prefer our own design.” “We will move the foundation.” “We will change the structure.” “We will still call it the same house.” Then the building collapses. Why? Because sincerity cannot save a structure built against the blueprint. Marriage has a blueprint. The Architect is God. No generation can safely rebuild what God has already defined. --- APPLICATION Christian, wake up. Do not let culture disciple your conscience. Do not let emotion erase Scripture. Do not let “love” silence holiness. Do not let compassion become agreement with sin. We must be tender with people— but firm with truth. We must love sinners— but never bless rebellion. We must speak with tears— but still speak. “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” — John 17:17 A church that refuses to warn sinners is not loving—it is sleeping. THE REMEDY IS CHRIST This message is not only warning. It is hope. Jesus can cleanse the broken. Jesus can restore the confused. Jesus can forgive the guilty. Jesus can transform the heart. Jesus can make every surrendered soul new. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us… and to cleanse us.” — 1 John 1:9 The gospel does not leave people in sin. It forgives, cleanses, restores, and transforms. --- Beloved, this is not the hour for silent Christianity. Human law is challenging God’s order. Culture is rewriting God’s design. The world is calling rebellion love. But Heaven has not changed. “Come out from among them, and be ye separate.” — 2 Corinthians 6:17 “Be ye also ready.” — Matthew 24:44 Speak truth with love.

As this week closes, my outreach has had a wonderful impact on 35,000 souls across social media, videos, audios, and printed material, nationwide and worldwide. From the streets to the internet, it is my greatest artwork for the glory of God.

What is really cool about all this is that 32,000 new folks have joined, but the 3,000 of you regulars keep praying and keep hitting the streets, for each of you represent my legacy for Christ and I'm honered to be of service.
