THE PILGRIMS GUIDE THURSDAY AUGUST 27, 2026 SPIRITUAL STAMINA A WORD FROM THE WORD: "...Then we will be able to run life's marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us." Hebrews 12:1 TPT. Just like it takes physical stamina to run in, win a marathon, it requires spiritual stamina to run in and win the spiritual race. It's not every victory that comes suddenly, and some breakthroughs are products of trained endurance, passion and determination; that is the grace to remain standing, believing, and obeying even when answers seem not to be forthcoming. For many, they start well but give up along the way due to the lack of spiritual stamina. The admonition we get from God's Word opines that 'the race is not to the swift' (Ecclesiastes 9:11 NKJV), but to those who refuse to give up. Spiritual stamina is that quiet strength that keeps praying when results are not forthcoming, that keeps trusting God when evidence is barely visible, and keeps obeying when emotions are tired. God never withholds His grace from those who asks, when spiritual stamina is at work, discouragement loses its grip, faith matures, and destiny is secured. Spiritual stamina is not a given, but is developed in the quarry of trust and obedience, as you align with God's will and purpose for you. The benefits are out of this world as you will not quit halfway, or succumb as you inch closer to the finish line. PRAYER BULLETS: Loving LORD, thank You for showing Yourself strong on my behalf. THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SUNDAY AUGUST 23, 2026 STEADFAST UNTIL VICTORY A WORD FROM THE WORD: "So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures." 1 Corinthians 15:58 TPT. Faith is not only believing God for miracles, it's required steadfastly also when results are slow and answers seem to be delayed. Many believers start in faith but end up in the flesh, and unstable when pressure increases. Yet Scripture makes the call of God upon us to stand firm, that is to remain unmoved by situations, circumstances, opinions, and momentary setbacks. Steadfast faith is quiet but powerful. It is not given to panic, neither is it spasmodic or subject to mood swings. It does not quit or fluctuate with emotions. It is faith that remains rooted in God’s Word even when feelings disagree and situations resist. Those blessed with steadfast faith do not waste energy fighting fear, rather they stay and are focused on obedience. One undeniable product of steadfast faith is undeniable results. God is strengthening your spiritual footing, to give you undeniable and unshakable victory. May you not be distracted, and remain firmly focused until your victory manifests. The first one to speak sounds true until you hear the other side and they set the record straight." Wisdom requires patience before judgment. This principle is especially important for anyone entrusted with leadership, responsibility, or the task of helping resolve disputes. Because we deal with people who have different perspectives, emotions, motives, and experiences, we must be careful not to make conclusions based solely on the first account we hear. The first person to report a matter may sound convincing, but their version may not contain the entire story. If we act too quickly, we may make an unjust decision, damage someone's reputation, or become unknowingly involved in a conflict we do not fully understand. God's Word teaches us to establish matters carefully: Deuteronomy 19:15 (TPT) "A single witness shall not suffice against a person for any crime or for any wrong in connection with any offense that he has committed. Only on the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses shall a charge be established." Therefore, do not judge a matter simply because someone came to you first, spoke with strong emotion, or presented a convincing story. Emotions can influence how people describe events, and every person naturally sees situations from their own perspective. Wisdom listens carefully, asks questions, examines the facts, and gives people an opportunity to be heard. This does not mean that every accusation is false or that wrongdoing should be ignored. It means that justice should be pursued with patience, fairness, and discernment. If you are in a position of leadership, never allow haste, partiality, or emotional pressure to control your judgment. Seek the truth before making a decision. Hear the matter carefully, consider all relevant perspectives, and allow God's wisdom to guide you. Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the wisdom of Your Word. Give me patience and discernment whenever I am required to make decisions or resolve conflicts. Wisdom teaches us to prepare for the future while making the most of the opportunities available to us today. Ecclesiastes reminds us of the importance of diversification and wise stewardship because no one knows everything that tomorrow may bring. A rigid mindset can limit a person's ability to recognize possibilities, while wisdom enables us to explore, grow, and respond appropriately to changing circumstances. Seek knowledge, count the cost, and make decisions with wisdom. We are living in a rapidly changing world, especially with the growth of technology and artificial intelligence. Therefore, it is important to remain informed and develop relevant skills. Explore how emerging technologies may create new opportunities for learning, work, business, and investment—but always approach every opportunity with wisdom, careful research, and responsible judgment. Most importantly, remember that our confidence is not in money, markets, technology, or human systems. Our confidence is in God, who gives wisdom, creativity, strength, and the ability to recognize and steward opportunities. Be flexible, remain teachable, plan wisely, and prepare for the future. As you look in different directions, trust God to guide your steps and give you the wisdom to recognize the opportunities He places before you.
