  • Laboring and Prospering with the LORD

    1. A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.

    2. It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep.

    3. Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.

    4. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.

    5. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

  • WE CAN STAND IN THE GAP!

    Child of God,

There is a mandate upon the Church: we are called to occupy until the Master returns.
And part of that occupation is taking spiritual territory through the power of intercession.

Through prayer, we stand in the gap for nations.

Through prayer we can take over territories, mountains and valleys, cities and villages, lands and forests, oceans and seas.

Through prayer we can cry out for the sovereignty of God to be established wherever men and women are found.

Wherever man is found, Jesus must reign as Lord and King.

    God's word declares:

“Pray... Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.”

    How does His kingdom advance?

When saints bend their knees and cry out to God under the power of the Holy Spirit, we invite divine intervention into families, churches, communities and nations.

Revival can only be ignited when men pray.

This is the time to pray for governments and lawmakers, decision-makers and leaders.

This is the season to pray for troubled regions, warring nations and places where darkness seems to have taken hold.

You can become God's watchman over your family, church, nation, and land.

“I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land...” — Ezekiel 22:30

God is still looking for men and women who will stand in the gap.

He is looking for intercessors who will pray for India, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, the United States, Ukraine, Russia, North Korea, and the nations of the world.

He is looking for a people who will pray until revival breaks out, God's glory is revealed, and His will is established in the earth.

This is what it means to occupy until He comes.

If you have a passion to see God's sovereignty established over your family, church, nations and territories, I invite you to join us this Tuesday for a powerful 30–40 minutes of Spirit-led intercession.

    We will pray.
We will stand in the gap.
We will cry out for the nations.
We will believe God for intervention.
    We will contend for revival.
And we believe God will answer.
    Revival will spring forth.
    Jesus will be glorified.

  • Good evening, brethren.
    1. Evening devotion for today.

    ED.i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST*
    (COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

    *DATE:*
    SATURDAY 8TH AUGUST, 2026.

    *SUB-THEME:*
    YOUTHS: VESSELS OF GOD'S GRACE.

    *TOPIC:*
    ANSWERING THE CALL OF GOD.

    *TEXT:*
    ISAIAH 6:8-10.
8 Then I heard the voice of the LORD as He was asking, “Whom will I send? Who will go for Us?” “Here I am!” I replied. “Send me.”
9 “Go!” He responded. “Tell this people: “‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’
    Mat 13:14 Mar 4:12 Luk 8:10 Joh 12:40 Act 28:26 Rom 11:8 [Psa 69:23] [Jer 5:21] [Eze 12:2]
10 Dull the mind of this people, deafen their ears, and blind their eyes. By doing so, they won’t see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their minds, turn back, and be healed.”
    Jer 5:21 [2Co 3:14] [2Co 4:4]

    *TOPIC:*
    ANSWERING THE CALL OF GOD.

    *THE MESSAGE:*
God, in His sovereignty, has a divine purpose for every individual and desires our obedience to fulfill it. Isaiah's prompt and wholehearted response to God's call serves as a model, especially for young people. Although many fear that the call to ministry is humiliating and an obstruction to their dreams, on the contrary, it is a high and glorious calling. God's call is for everyone to serve in the area for which they are predestined. Therefore, be sensitive to recognise your area of call and serve Him with a passion and with a sense of accountability to the one who called you. What are your hopes and plans for life? Ensure they do not conflict with God's will. Besides, do not be self-centered to miss His call or direction. Is anyone confused about his call? Prayerfully seek counsel.

    *REFLECTION:*
God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the called.

    *PRAYER:*
Oh Lord, help me to respond to my call. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    2 TIMOTHY 2:21.
"If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be instruments for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master, and prepared to do any good work."

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*
    JEREMIAH 26-29.

    ED.ii. DELIVERED FROM SLAVERY

"Commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery, because the Lord brought you out of it with a mighty hand." - Exodus 13:3

It was quite important for the Israelites to celebrate this day of freedom and liberation. They commemorated this day during the Easter celebration. It was to be passed on from generation to generation. The Israelites had to continuously teach their children about this and talk about it (see Deuteronomy 11: 19-21).

    Spiritual freedom

We read throughout the book of Numbers that the living God had delivered the people of Israel from slavery. If God imprinted on His people's minds so strongly to always commemorate and remember that they were freed from slavery, how much more should God's children continually remember that they were freed from slavery by the blood of Jesus Christ? 'I am free from the burden of the evil one. I am free! I am free from the burden of sin.'

How does someone who just came out of jail feel? Freedom is a great thing. However, spiritual freedom is even more important than the physical one. It is better to be in prison with a liberated spirit than to be outside and bound by the power of the evil one. Paul says in Romans 6:17-18: 'At one time you were held by the power of sin. But now you obey with all your heart the teaching that was given to you. Thank God for this! You were made free from the power of sin. Being right with God has power over you now.'

Dear readers, do you still remember being a slave to sin? Do you still remember when Jesus delivered you from this? You are no longer a slave, but free from the power of sin. Jesus shouted: 'My task is fulfilled.' By doing this, Jesus broke the power of sin and is able to free everyone who comes to Him in faith and accepts Him as their personal Savior and Redeemer.

    Evening Prayer for today.

    EP.i. Evening Prayer

In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were ]not [so,] I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. ⏤ John 14:2

Our prayers lay the track down which God’s power can come. Like a mighty locomotive, his power is irresistible, but it cannot reach us without rails. ⏤ Watchman Nee

Our Father, as another week comes to a close, we are reminded that we are now closer to our eternal home than ever before—closer to our Father’s house with its many rooms, closer to the great white throne, closer to the crystal sea, closer to the end of life where we will lay down our burdens. Beyond the shadows of death lies Heaven.

Help us to believe in the unseen things of our Christian faith and to not fear any night that leads to the dawn of Your glory. It may be that we are nearer to our heavenly home than we realize. Father, strengthen our trust. Let our spirits be firm in faith when the hour of death comes, knowing that our feet are set on the solid rock of a living faith.

We ask You to accept and bless our week. If this week is the last one we live in this world, we leave it now with You, asking for Your gracious forgiveness for anything wrong in our conduct, words, or attitudes. We place our lives in Your hands, trusting in Your mercy. We sin many times each day. Our hope is always in Your grace. Take our week and cleanse it. May all its experiences work for our good. May the lessons we’ve learned be well remembered and never forgotten. May the work we’ve done be blessed.

Grant us sweet, refreshing sleep tonight, and prepare us for a quiet and good Sunday filled with Your love and grace. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. Amen.

Amen.
