• St. Stephen of Hungary

St. Stephen was from a very noble family and was born in the year 997 to father Prince Geza and mother Sarolt of Hungary. He married Giselle, the daughter of Duke Henry-Ii of Bavaria. He took very sincere efforts to spread Christianity and extended patronage to Church leaders. St. Stephen was anointed as king of Hungary by Pope Sylvester-II on the Christmas day in the year 1001, with the consent of the Holy Roman Emperor Otto-III. St. Stephen dedicated his crown to Holy Mary, during the coronation. His only son Emeric died after being wounded in a hunting expedition in the year 1031. Therefore St. Stephen was having no son left to rule his Kingdom. So in his death bed he raised the Holy Crown by his right hand and prayed to the Holy Mary to take the Hungarians as Her subjects and to become the Queen of Hungarians. He died on August 15, 1038, on the commemoration day of the Assumption of Mary.

St. Stephen's right hand is kept as a relic and is called as the "Holy Right" by Hungarians. His right hand remains uncorrupted due to the reason that with this hand he raised the Holy Crown towards heaven and prayed to the Virgin Mary. The right hand is now in the Basilica of King Saint Stephen in Budapest.

He is venerated as the patron saint of masons, stone cutters and brick layers. He was canonized by Pope Gregory-VII on August 20, 1083.

  • The flaunting of "LGBT rights": a smokescreen

Glorifying the so-called LGBT has become a sort of identity symbol for the globalist elites, the flag of the omnipresent power (political, military and ideological) of woke globalism and a smokescreen to hide the real problems and thus distract people's attention. We saw it yesterday in Budapest (Hungary) where thousands of people flocked from abroad (including the leaders of the Italian PD!) for the "gaypride" demonstration and thus "challenge Orban". Viktor Orban has not only (rightly) banned gay propaganda (to protect minors), but has promoted laws in favor of families (the real ones) and the well-being of the population. I am not only concerned about LGBT exhibitionism, but (even more importantly) the instrumental use that is made of it for other and hidden purposes. Confirming all this is the recent statement by Ursula Von den Leyen, who hypocritically exalts the EU as a "champion of rights", but hides the growing EU totalitarianism, its corruption and its warmongering ambitions. Conservative Christians should therefore not only fight (rightly) the perversions and abuse of human sexuality, but make a systemic political criticism of those who brandish (even literally) LGBT symbols to achieve other ends and thus endorse other injustices, no less disgusting than LGBT exhibitionism.

  • She was drowning.
    And nobody noticed…
    Nobody, except her.

It was June 2022, at the World Championships in Budapest.
Anita Álvarez, an American artistic swimmer with Mexican roots, was performing a flawless routine.
But when her performance ended… she didn’t come up for air.

    She had lost consciousness.
Her body floated for a few seconds, then began to sink.
Slowly. All the way to the bottom of the pool.

The audience didn’t notice. Neither did the judges.
    Everyone was clapping.

But her coach, Andrea Fuentes, noticed.
She knew Anita—knew exactly how long it took her to surface.
She felt in her heart that something was wrong.

Without thinking twice, she dove in.
    Fully dressed. Shoes and all.

She swam straight down, grabbed Anita by the waist,
    and brought her back up.
    She saved her life.

    This story left me thinking…

Who knows you well enough to notice when you’re not okay, even if you’re still smiling?
Who would dive in for you without hesitation when you no longer have the strength to come up for air?

    And more importantly…

Would you be that person for someone else?
Are you present enough in your loved ones’ lives to sense the moment they start to sink?
Or are you just another spectator, clapping, not realizing that inside, they’re fading?

In this life, we all need someone who doesn’t just see us—
    but truly notices us.
Someone who knows when we’re about to give up,
and has the courage to jump in and save us.
