• Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

How is everyone doing today? It is early and eventful in my house. Eventful for old, sleepy people, that is. I made coffee, fixed my husband’s meds, recorded his evening, walked the dog and spent some quality time in the alternative office.

Last night I was able to get the middle part of the yard mowed before I lost daylight and today I will finish. Now, normally, my yard is done in one sitting. However, this week, that has not been the case. With borrowing a mower, I had to wait to get it back and because I borrowed it, I did my obligation to his other property first. I could have waited and done mine all in one stint, but I was having fun. Haha.

So, I have a question for you. How do you decompress? Do you go for a walk/run? Do you dive into a good story? Is it television and snacks? Is there a hobby that you enjoy that helps reset your thoughts? How do you deal with the day’s events as they unfold and/or when you are thinking about them at the end of the day?

For me, obviously, writing is one avenue that I take. Another is mowing—another is music. Of course, there are my phone games … little addictive boogers.

Have you considered prayer as a route of decompression?

A quick research of how many times it is recorded that Jesus prayed is over 25 times. A finer search shows that He withdrew at least seven times to pray. Meaning that he went away alone to pray.

Now, if the Son of God, who came to earth as a human to demonstrate what He wanted us to do, left his pals, his family, his associates to pray and ‘decompress’ with God … don’t you think it might just work for us?

Over the years, in order to make prayer sound OVER important, it has been made out that you need to have a large vocabulary of fancy words and beautiful songs of words that float through the air like a cloud. However, if you read about Jesus’ account in Gethsemane … that was not flowery words … that was “Hey Dad, is there another way we can take care of this plan of Yours? If there is, can we do that instead? Hey, but if there isn’t … I understand.” Jesus was on his face, sweating and pouring out his soul to the Father, pleading for a different solution to this problem. He had become very close to His disciples and the weight of what was going to happen fell on him like a ton of bricks. He felt the burden of His assignment in full force. If the Son of man cried out to God on multiple occasions, would it not seem relevant that we would too?

The enemy would have us believe that if we cannot ‘fix’ or ‘accomplish’ something on our own, that we are weak and worthless. On the contrary, knowing that we have an avenue to strength and power, and then exercising that invitation to sit with Him, settles us and empowers us to persevere. I have confessed many times on here that my prayer life has not been the best. It is improving, however, and I can physically feel His presence as I calm from the day’s events or as I enter the day’s events. Coming from someone who routinely falls down, prayer has given me such strength to continue to take one step at a time each day.

As today unfolds, as the events begin to swallow you whole, as the world tries to dictate your mood, remember that there is One who is always there and willing to listen. Go to Him. Pour out your soul to Him. Cry to Him. Plead with Him. And know that if the answer is not what YOU wanted, that there must be a higher cause. Jesus was not released from his commitment to die on the cross; he accepted it and used it as the way to unlock the doors of death and defeat Satan. What powerful use of your turmoil lies beyond your vision that will help someone in the long run? Release your anguish to the Father and embrace your chosen status, knowing that you were picked to set the tone for someone else in a similar situation.

    Be blessed.

**My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me. Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will. – Matthew 26:38-39

  • Life has a way of teaching you that maturity is not measured by how much you know, but by how well you respond to what you now know.

You learn to choose peace over unnecessary battles, purpose over popularity, consistency over excitement, and character over applause.

At some point, you stop trying to prove yourself to everyone and simply focus on becoming all that God has called you to be.

There is beauty in that journey.

One day at a time. One lesson at a time. One step at a time. 🏽

  • EVIL DOERS AROUND NATIONS β€” GOD'S JUDGEMENT OF CORRECTION NOW SUBJECTED ON YOU

1 Pet 4:17 β€” For time has come for judgment to begin at house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be end of those who do not obey gospel of God?

Hear me, evil doers β€” workers of iniquity β€” around nations β€” altars of darkness β€” voices β€” persecutors β€” lovers of sin.

God has judged His house first β€” and finished.

You saw Red 7 vision l saw in sky after vanished was first a disciplinary action of suffering , testing which was subjected on me His house that l had fallen. and I repented as his house of my fall + shame before God & got cleansed by his blood. 1john1:7 & his word in eph5:26-27 which made me pure before God. 1Tim4:5. Thus this discplined me, corrected me & restored holiness back to meβ€” born again β€” true Israel β€” Believer not practising sin. His word says in 1peter4:17-18 after this judgement of correction made on His house-- me & done . Now subjected to evil doers now.. thus repent, obey & live pure before God through faith in Christ or refuse will perish in sin.

My hedge was bleached β€” not removed β€” to test β€” to purify.

Job 2:6 β€” Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.

I was wounded β€” motorcycle, dog, flesh torn β€” but not given to death β€” Ps 118:18 β€” Lord chastened me severely, but has not given me over to death.

My faith was tested by fire β€” 1 Pet 1:7 β€” but failed NOT β€” gold came out pure β€” Job 23:10 β€” I shall come forth as gold.

Red No.7 means complete β€” John 19:30 β€” It is finished. My correction is done.

NOW YOUR TURN β€” JUDGEMENT OF CORRECTION NOW ON YOU

1 Pet 4:17 β€” if it begins with us first, what will be end of you?

Because God finished with His house, He now turns to you.

Your judgement of correction is now set β€” now subjected on you β€” this is order of God β€” Ezek 18:30 β€” Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.

This is not accident β€” this is ORDER on you.

And hear warning: This punishment to you will be harsher than that subjected on His house.

Luke 12:47-48 β€” that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare... shall be beaten with many stripes. For everyone to whom much is given, much will be required.

To His house β€” bleach hedge β€” wound β€” but spare life β€” to preserve for calling.

To you evil doers β€” many stripes β€” because you knew β€” you built altars β€” you sent voices β€” Eph 6:12 β€” you fought calling that fights Satan β€” 1 John 3:8 β€” you persecuted to make calling fail β€” Rev 12:17 β€” you knew.

To me β€” chastening of son β€” Heb 12:6 β€” whom Lord loves He chastens.

To you β€” wrath of judge β€” Heb 12:8 β€” if you are without chastening... then you are illegitimate and not sons.

Matt 10:15 β€” it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in day of judgment than for that city.
Heb 10:29 β€” Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled Son of God underfoot?

Voices β€” of evil altars β€” the motorcycle accident β€” dog hit in accidentβ€” God counted them.

Now unless you repent and live pure before God through faith in Christ, harsher correction falls β€” disease beyond wound β€” torment beyond voices β€” shame beyond nakedness β€” loss beyond flesh β€” Ps 11:6 β€” Upon wicked He will rain coals; fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be portion of their cup.

    WHAT GOD DEMANDS NOW:

Repent β€” Acts 17:30 β€” God now commands all men everywhere to repent.

Believe in faith β€” 1 John 1:7 β€” blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin β€” 1 Tim 4:5 β€” sanctified by Word and prayer.

Live pure β€” Rev 14:4-5 β€” These are ones not defiled... without fault before throne of God β€” 1 John 3:9 β€” whoever born of God does not practice sin.

Be true Israel β€” not practising sin β€” Matt 6:33 β€” seek first Kingdom and His righteousness, and much more shall be added.

IF YOU REFUSE β€” JUDGEMENT OF DESTRUCTION FOLLOWS

If you refuse to repent now in this correction β€” judgement of destruction is already appointed.

Prov 11:21 β€” Though hand join in hand, wicked shall not go unpunished.
1 Pet 4:18 β€” If righteous one scarcely saved, where will ungodly and sinner appear?
2 Thess 1:8-9 β€” In flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from presence of Lord.
Rev 20:15 β€” Anyone not found written in Book of Life was cast into lake of fire.
Gal 6:7 β€” Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; whatever man sows, that he will reap.

  • WHAT IS SIN?

1 JOHN 3:4 KJV 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Sin is breaking the Law, missing the mark set by God.

The word "sin" is a translation of the Greek word "hamartia" which means to miss the mark.

ROMANS 3:23 NLT 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.

Religious tradition labels many things as sin which the Bible does not. People make up all kinds of rules based on what they think is right. But God is the judge and only God can decree what sin is.

MARK 7:9 KJV 9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

God has not left us to wonder what sin is. The Bible reveals it to us. We don't have to guess, or make it up as we go.

Just because you do something someone else thinks is wrong does not mean it is a sin. So don't let people condemn you over things the Bible does not clearly say are wrong. God is the judge.

COLOSSIANS 2:8 NKJ 8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

Another error is to think being tempted is a sin. Temptation itself is not sin. You cannot help being tempted. Even Jesus was tempted -- but He never yielded.

HEBREWS 4:15 NKJ 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

A common mistake is believing that having bad thoughts is a sin. It is not a sin to be tempted with bad thoughts. It only becomes a sin when we embrace those thoughts as our own and decide to act on them.

JAMES 1:15 NLT 15 These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.

God is against sin because it is deadly. Sin brings forth death, not life and blessing. God loves people, so He is against everything that harms people.

All sin harms people. (Just because you don't see how a sin would harm anyone, does not mean you know more than God.)

But no human can be right with God by never sinning. We have all fallen short and need a Savior. It is only by God's grace and His forgiveness that we can be right with God.

ROMANS 3:20 NLT 20 For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.

We can be glad because Jesus came to save sinners, and He paid the price for the forgiveness of all sins by shedding His blood.

EPHESIANS 1:7 NKJ 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

SAY THIS: Only God has the authority to decide what sin is.

    God bless you!

    TEXT: REVELATION 20:11-15
TOPIC: THE GREAT WHITE JUDGMENT THRONE

    REVELATION 20:11-15 (NIV)

11: Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.

12: And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

13: The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.

14: Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.

15: If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

    THE GREAT WHITE JUDGMENT THRONE

The time will come for all humans, living or dead, to face the Great White throne of judgment (vs.11-12) based on their deeds.

Everyone will be judged fairly, as "all have sinned" (Rom.3:23). Believers would have been condemned but Christ's sacrifice paid their penalty (Rom.6:23).

Regardless of how one dies, all souls will be resurrected for judgment. The lost will be judged, while redeemed believers were raised during the Rapture and previous resurrections.

Those not found in the Book of Life will face the "second death" (vs.14-15, cf.Rev.3:5).

QUESTION: How do you treat your faith in light of the Book of Revelation?

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, let me not stand before the white judgment Throne for Christ's sake, Amen.

  • Devotion: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

β€œMy grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.’ I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ’s power over me. I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

We are nothing compared to Christ. It would do us well to remember that we are, after all, God’s creations, and while He made us in a perfect way, we live in an imperfect and sinful world, a world that we often find seductively attractive and even drawn to. God made us perfect, but we, because of our human nature tend to tread a wider road than the one He intends for us. We always want the β€˜easy’ way out. This β€˜easy’ way often involves atrocious acts, things that we never thought we’d be capable of. This is our weakness, our human nature, but luckily for us, we serve a powerful God.

    * God is infinitely more powerful than weak man – Daniel 4:35: β€œHe looks on the people of the earth as nothing; angels in heaven and people on earth are under his control. No one can oppose his will or question what he does.”

    * Man was born weak – Job 14:1-2: β€œWe are all born weak and helpless. Alle lead the same, short, troubled life. We grow and wither as quickly as flowers; we disappear like shadows.”

    * God is all powerful – Jeremiah 32:27: β€œI am the LORD, the God of the whole human race. Nothing is too difficult for me.”

    * God holds our lives in His hands – Job 12:10: β€œIt is God who directs the lives of his creatures; everyone’s life is in his power.”

    * God will show mercy to all so that His Name can be glorified – Acts 10:35: β€œThose who worship him and do what is right are acceptable to him, no matter what race they belong to.”

    * In our weakness we have received redemption, sowe owe our life to God – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: β€œYou do not belong to yourselves but to God; he bought you for a price. So use your bodies for God’s glory.”

Do you understand that your weakness is proof of God’s glory? Do you know your trials and troubles are proof of His patience and mercy? They are not punishment for a worldly life, they are tests that each Christian must endure to prove his worth.

Are you prepared to take up your cross, carry your burden, and show the world that you can thrive in the Name of the Father?

Rescuers struggling to reach disaster zone after more than 160 killed in Nepal-Tibet flash floods

More than 160 people have been killed in Nepal, and hundreds of tourists are missing, after a massive flash flood and mudslide

The missing tourists include more than 100 from India, 54 from the US, 34 from Australia, and 33 from the UK, as well as more than 100 from Nepal itself, according to officials. The area is popular with pilgrims and trekkers

The US, China, the EU and India are among the countries that have pledged assistance or dispatched relief supplies

Dozens of Nepalese police officers and army personnel are also missing, as well as power workers. My family was swept away in front of me, one woman tells us - she and her son survived by climbing to a rooftop

Authorities initially thought an earthquake may have preceded the flooding - but the US Geological Survey now says the "seismic energy was instead generated by a landslide"

May those still in danger be protected and may everyone affected find strength. Pray for Nepal.
