• *What Does It Mean to Honor Father and Mother?*
    Part Two
Subtopic: *The Revelation of Father and Mother*

“Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.”
    — Exodus 20:12

In the first section, we saw that this commandment was given specifically to the children of Israel (Exodus 19:1–3). It was not handed to the Gentiles. By natural birth, Gentiles were not under the Ten Commandments.

The entire Old Testament is a prophetic witness pointing to the Messiah. The command to honor father and mother is part of the Law given through Moses to Israel (Exodus 19:1–3; John 1:17).

When the Messiah came, He declared: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” (Matthew 5:17). Moses himself wrote about Christ (John 1:45–47).

Thus, the commandment “Honor your father and your mother” ultimately points to Christ.

    ---

    True Israel Revealed
Paul explains that true Israel is not outward but inward: “A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly… No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit.” (Romans 2:28–29).

Circumcision here means righteousness. And Christ Himself is the true Israel.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.” (John 15:1)

Israel was once called God’s vine (Psalm 80:8; Isaiah 5:1–2,7; Jeremiah 2:21). But Jesus declares Himself to be the true vine — the true Israel.

    ---

    The Son and the Father
Israel was a shadow pointing to the Messiah. In Christ, Israel is fulfilled.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Thus, God is the Father who is to be honored by His Son, Israel — Jesus Christ.

    Christ Himself testifies:
“I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.” (John 17:4)

Here we see Jesus honoring His Father. The commandment is fulfilled in Him.

    The Father is revealed.
The Son honors the Father revealed.

    ---

In the next section, we will explore the Revelation of the Mother.

Let’s grow together in faith, wisdom, and grace of JesusChrist.

Is it possible for the devil to repent?

    August 19th, 2026

There’s no record of Christ offering to die for the fallen angels. But God is “merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth” (Exodus 34:6)—it’s just His nature—and I think He bore long with them. There was some kind of probation and mercy extended to Lucifer when he was first entering into his rebellion.

The Scripture says, “He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham” (Hebrews 2:16). There’s a reason for the difference. Satan and his angels were created perfect. They were not deceived in the way that humans were deceived. Lucifer entered a high-handed rebellion into deception. He was made perfect but chose to be proud and to worship himself; whereas Adam and Eve were made in innocence and they were caught off guard by this rebellious fiend. So the devil was more culpable than humanity was. That’s why the Lord had mercy on humans and became one of us in order to save us.

We know from the biblical account that before he sinned, Satan was known as Lucifer and stood in the very presence of God (see Isaiah 14:12). He was closest to the throne of God, and there wasn’t anything more that God could do to reveal His character to him. On the other hand, Adam and Eve were not in that same position. I believe that God gave Lucifer and the angels who believed his lies plenty of opportunity to realize the errors of their way. After all, God is a God of justice, and He’s not willing that any of His creatures should perish.

    Key Bible Texts
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (Hebrews 2:14 KJV)

  • Psalm 68 celebrates God as a mighty warrior who’ll defeat evil (vv. 1-2). It draws on the imagery of the song in Exodus 15 that celebrates God delivering His people from Egypt. In Psalm 68, He’s depicted as “[riding] on the clouds” (v. 4) while scattering “his enemies” (v. 1). The retelling of the exodus deliverance concludes by describing a victory parade that ends with God dwelling and reigning as king (v. 18).

The rest of Psalm 68 (vv. 19-35) praises the enthroned God, recognizing that His people are completely dependent on Him. The psalm entreats, “Summon your power, God; show us your strength, our God, as you have done before” (v. 28). God is a gentle warrior who fights for justice, who “leads out the prisoners with singing” (v. 6) and “daily bears our burdens” (v. 19). Today, as we reflect on the awesomeness of God, we can celebrate His great love for us.

  • JEHOVAH NISSI — THE LORD IS MY BANNER.

Some battles leave us weary, but victory has never depended on our strength alone. The God who went before Israel still goes before His people today. He fights for us, leads us when there seems to be no way, and covers us with His protection and promises.

When fear says retreat, faith raises the banner. When the enemy says defeated, God says redeemed. When the road looks impossible, the Lord reminds us that the battle belongs to Him.

You are not standing alone. Lift your eyes, hold your ground, and trust the One who goes before you. We rise under His banner and walk in victory—not because every battle is easy, but because our God is always faithful.

“And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-Lord-Is-My-Banner.” — Exodus 17:15

  • Did you know?
Joseph's wife was Egyptian. Almost nobody talks about her, or how controversial that actually was.
Genesis chapter forty-one says the Pharaoh himself gave her to Joseph. Her name was Asenath. Her father was the priest of On, the center of Egyptian sun worship, the highest religious position in the country. family that worshipped the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, married the daughter of Egypt's top pagan priest.
No conversion scene. No moment where she rejects her father's gods. Scripture never mentions any of that. She simply becomes his wife, and later, the mother of his two sons.
Those two sons were Manasseh and Ephraim.
Genesis chapter forty-eight records something almost nobody talks about either. Jacob personally blessed those two grandsons, placing them equal to Reuben and Simeon, his own original sons. Full inheritance. Full standing. No hesitation.
Which means the bloodline of a pagan sun priest's daughter became the direct root of two entire tribes of Israel.
Here's where it gets stranger. Joseph died in Egypt, generations before the Exodus ever happened. But before he died, he made his family promise something. Carry my bones out of this country when you finally leave.
Genesis chapter fifty records that promise. Exodus chapter thirteen records it kept. Moses himself carried Joseph's bones out of Egypt, centuries later, exactly as promised.
So the son of an Egyptian priestess didn't walk out of Egypt. Joseph bones did, carried by the very nation his sons helped build.

  • Daily Bible Lesson.
THE USA IN BIBLE PROPHECY! Rev 13:11

At the height of the papacy's power, its "iron teeth" fell upon Protestant Reformers. WHO PROTESTED THE CATHOLIC CHURCHES UNBIBLICAL TEACHINGS....

Many of those who were not martyred, however, found a means of escape to the New World.

Revelation prophesied this exodus in the symbol of a faithful woman, who represents God's true church. This woman, "persecuted" (12:13) by the dragon through papal Rome, fled "into the wilderness" during "a time and times and half a time" (v.14), the same 1,260 years of papal supremacy. Thus, the prey escaped the predator, and the most notable republic in the world was born.

In 1776, the United States declared its independence. It established its own rule of law, the Constitution (1787) and the Bill of Rights (1791).

By 1798, simultaneous with the head wound to the Roman Church, the nations of Europe recognized the United States as an independent world power, one built on TWO UNIQUE PRINCIPLES REPRESENTED BY the earth beast's two-lamb-like horns:
    (Rev. 13:11) ...
REPUBLICANISM, a government without a king, and
PROTESTANTISM, a church without a pope.

( The two lamb like horns in verse 13:11 represented the 2 principles America was founded on..)

    1) We were a republican Nation ~
    we had a constitution
    had, had had....
and 2) we were blessed by God for being a
    Protestant nation)

The United States became the standard bearer of freedom of conscience and embodiment of the separation of church and state--all that the Roman Catholic Church was not.

    THE IMAGE OF THE BEAST!!!

But the Bible makes a surprising prediction: AMERICA WILL FALL AWAY FROM ITS FOUNDING PRINCIPLES and advocate for the sea beast,
(Papacy) the very power the Founding Fathers resisted. Revelation 13:12-15 has a few key take aways:

    A. The United States forms "an image to the beast"
    (Rome)
This is not a statue; rather,
"an image"is a "representation" or "RESEMBLANCE."
Hence, an "image of the beast"(v.15) will be a religiopolitical power that look, speaks, and AND ACTS LIKE THE PAPACY!!!

    B. The image of the beast will use a combination of deception (v.14) and coercion (v.15) to achieve universal worship of the papacy (vv.12,15).

    C. The ultimate power behind the transformation of the United States is the dragon, Satan, who extends his "authority" (v.12) from the sea beast to the earth beast (v.4).
According to the Bible, the United States will one day LOOK, SPEAK, AND ACT LIKE THE PAPACY.

FACT: During the 1,260 years, the little horn "[persecuted] the saints of the Most High" (Daniel 7:25). During this period of papal supremacy, dubbed the Dark Ages, the Catholic Church labeled as heretics those who followed the Word of God over its own doctrines and, sources state, it condemned more than 50 million people to death.

  • The Kitchen Newsletter

    Good day,
Welcome to The Kitchen, where we explore, prepare and serve the contents in the Body of the Word as the delicacies of God—to create the form of the Father on the earth, to make the earth in His likeness, and to take charge of the economic destinies of nations for God.

Relax, and let's journey through the scriptures to see the Body of the Word.

What if the descriptions of the body of Jesus Christ in Scripture are not merely descriptions of what John or Ezekiel saw—but windows into the invisible God?

John was on Patmos when he heard a voice behind him. He turned, and what he saw was extraordinary: a figure like the Son of Man, standing among seven golden lampstands. His hair was white like wool, His eyes were like blazing fire, His feet like bronze glowing in a furnace, His voice like rushing waters, and His face like the sun in all its brilliance.

John did not encounter an idea.

    He encountered a Person.

He encountered Jesus Christ, the living Word of God, in the appearance of a man and with a body (Revelation 1:1–2, 12–17; Ezekiel 1:26).

This gives us a remarkable way of reading Scripture: the Body of the Word is a revelation of the invisible God.

Hebrews 1:3 calls Christ “the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being.” Paul similarly speaks of “the light of the knowledge of God’s glory” in the face of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6).

Therefore, when Scripture describes the eyes, face, feet, voice, garments, or other details of the Word, these descriptions are not empty imagery. They invite us to inquire into the Person they reveal.

    Consider the eyes.

    John says:

“His eyes were like blazing fire.”
    — Revelation 1:14

    Why blazing fire?

Hebrews 12:29 tells us, “Our God is a consuming fire.”

The image therefore takes us beyond the physical description of eyes. It begins to tell us something about the nature, passion, desire and activity of God.

The Body of the Word becomes a language through which the invisible God makes Himself known.

And this is where the subject becomes particularly provocative.

    The Father has a hunger.

We often speak about our hunger for God. But what if Scripture also teaches us to consider the hunger of God?

Isaiah speaks of the tongue of the Lord as a consuming fire (Isaiah 30:27). Jesus declares:

“I am the bread that came down from heaven.”
    — John 6:33

    And:

“I am the bread of life.”
    — John 6:35

Then He makes the statement even more striking:

    “This bread is my flesh.”
    — John 6:51

The bread placed continually before God in the tabernacle was called the bread of the Presence (Exodus 25:30).

So the Body of the Word is not merely something we study. In this revelation, the Body of the Word is the food of God—the object of the Father’s intense desire.

The dining table becomes a powerful picture.

Song of Solomon 7:2 speaks of a rounded goblet, blended wine and a mound of wheat. The imagery presents the Body as a place of nourishment and abundance.

What if our understanding of the Body of the Word is itself part of the Father’s desire?

What if the question is not merely, “How much do I know about God?”

    But:

“What does God desire to find in me?”

This takes us directly to the image of the blazing eyes.

The eye is described by Jesus as the lamp of the body (Matthew 6:22). The blazing eyes of the Word therefore present another dimension of the Body: the lamp of God.

    A lamp searches.

    A lamp illuminates.

A lamp reveals what is hidden.

Psalm 11:5 says that the Lord examines the righteous, while Psalm 14:2 says that He looks down from heaven to see whether there is anyone who understands and seeks Him.

    Notice the connection.

The blazing eyes are not merely looking at us.

They are looking for something in us.

    They are looking for understanding.

The Father is looking for the knowledge of the Body of the Word in the hearts and minds of His people.

That changes the way we think about revelation.

    Psalm 119:130 says:

“The unfolding of your words gives light and understanding to the simple.”

The Word contains depths that must be unfolded.

And when the details of the Body of the Word are unfolded, they bring light—the revelation knowledge of the Father (Psalm 119:130; 2 Corinthians 4:6).

This is also why Jesus said:

“These are the Scriptures that testify about me.”
    — John 5:39

The Scriptures are not merely information about religious subjects. They testify about a Person.

The descriptions of the Body of the Word therefore become places of investigation.

    The eyes speak.

    The face speaks.

    The feet speak.

    The garments speak.

    The voice speaks.

And through these descriptions, we begin to encounter dimensions of the Person of the Word—and consequently dimensions of the Father.

The emotions of God are also revealed.

Isaiah 59:17 describes God clothing Himself with zeal “as a cloak.”

A garment covers and expresses the person wearing it.

If the garments of God are described through Scripture, and Scripture testifies about the Word, then the imagery of God's garments becomes another doorway into understanding His Person.

The Body of the Word, therefore, becomes a profound vocabulary for understanding the emotions of God.

    His zeal.

    His longing.

    His desire.

    His hunger.

    His compassion.

    His grief.

    His expectation.

    His pleasure.

    His intensity.

These are not abstract theological categories. They are dimensions of the Person of God that Scripture progressively reveals.

And who searches these depths for us?

    The Holy Spirit.

Jesus says in John 16:13–15 that the Spirit of truth will take what belongs to Christ and make it known to us.

    Paul adds:

“The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.”
    — 1 Corinthians 2:10

The Body of the Word is therefore not a closed mystery.

It is a treasury to be searched.

The Holy Spirit searches the deep things of God and unfolds them so that we can know the Father more precisely.

This is why revelation is more than acquiring information.

Revelation is discovering what is already contained in the Person of the Word.

And perhaps this explains one of the great spiritual questions of our time:

Why does God seem to be searching the hearts of His people?

Because the Father is looking for a place where the Body of theWord can be understood.

He is looking for hearts that can become tables upon which His food is received.

He is looking for minds that can accommodate the revelation of His Son.

He is looking for people who will not merely quote Scripture, but will allow Scripture to reveal the Person of Christ.

The blazing eyes of the Word are still searching.

    And the question is:

What are they looking for in us?

Perhaps the answer is simpler—and more demanding—than we imagined:

    Understanding.

An understanding of the Body of the Word.

    An understanding of the Father.

An understanding deep enough to shape how we live, how we build, how we govern, how we work, and ultimately how we participate in the economic destinies of nations.

The Father wants His form reproduced on the earth through people who have seen, understood and received the revelation of the Body of the Word.

This is why we must return to Scripture—not merely to read it, but to unfold it.

Because somewhere within the details is light.

And somewhere within the light is the knowledge of the Father.

And somewhere within that knowledge is the revelation of the Person of the Word.
