THE ONLY REMEDY TO END THE SWORD OF HEROD

    The Sword Is Still Moving

The sword of Herod did not end in the first century. It still appears today in different forms—persecution, oppression, violence, injustice, intimidation, fear, and spiritual attacks against God's people.
Many believers ask: "Why are righteous people suffering?" "How can the Church overcome the attacks of the enemy?"
The Bible does not leave us without an answer. It reveals the only remedy that can stop the sword of Herod.

    Key Bible Texts

    Acts 12:1–12

    > "Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword... Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him." (Acts 12:1–5)
    Ephesians 6:18
    > "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit..."
    Psalm 91:1–7
God's promise of divine protection for those who dwell in His presence.
    Isaiah 54:17
    > "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper..."

King Herod believed that the sword could silence the Church.
    He killed James.
    He arrested Peter.
His intention was to destroy Christianity through fear.
But Herod underestimated the power of a praying Church.
The sword could kill a man, but it could not kill God's purpose.
Whenever evil raises a sword against God's people, Heaven has a greater answer.
Point 1: The Sword of Herod Represents Satanic Opposition
Herod was more than a political ruler.
He became an instrument of darkness against God's Kingdom.

Today, the sword may appear as:

    Persecution
    Terrorism
    Kidnapping
    False accusations
    Economic hardship
    Sickness
    Spiritual warfare
Jesus warned believers that persecution would come (John 16:33).
The presence of opposition does not mean God's absence.
Point 2: The Greatest Weapon Against Herod Was United Prayer
    Acts 12:5 says:
    > "Prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him."

    Notice:
The Church did not organize protests.
    The Church did not panic.
    The Church prayed.
    Prayer moved Heaven.
    Prayer sent angels.
    Prayer opened prison doors.
    Prayer broke chains.
    Prayer confused Herod's plans.
A praying Church is a victorious Church.
Point 3: God Can Deliver Even When Death Seems Certain
Peter was sleeping between two soldiers.
    He was chained.
    Guards surrounded him.
    The prison gates were locked.
Everything suggested that execution was inevitable.
    But one angel changed everything.
No prison is too secure for God.
No attack is stronger than divine intervention.
No Herod can stop what God has ordained.
Point 4: Herod's Sword Has an Expiry Date
Acts 12:23 records that Herod himself was struck down after exalting himself against God.
The same man who wielded the sword could not escape God's judgment.
    This teaches us:
    Evil has limits.
    Pride has consequences.
God always has the final word.
    Psalm 75:7 says:
    > "God is the Judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another."

    Biblical Case Study

    Peter's Miraculous Deliverance (Acts 12)
    James was executed.
    Peter was next.
Humanly speaking, there was no hope.
Yet while Peter slept, the Church prayed.
    God sent an angel.
    Chains fell off.
    Prison doors opened automatically.
    Peter walked out alive.
This miracle reminds us that God's deliverance often comes when hope seems lost.

    Modern-Life Illustration

There are believers today who have escaped kidnappers, survived terrorist attacks, recovered from terminal illnesses, or been delivered from impossible situations after persistent prayer and unwavering faith.
While not every faithful believer is delivered in the same way or at the same time, Scripture consistently teaches that God remains sovereign, present with His people in suffering, and able to intervene according to His perfect wisdom and purpose.

    Deep Spiritual Insights

The enemy attacks people who carry divine assignments.
Prayer invites Heaven into earthly battles.
    God's timing is always perfect.
Sometimes God allows trials to strengthen faith, but He never abandons His children.
The Church advances not merely through human strength but through dependence on God.

    Practical Action Steps

    1. Build a consistent personal prayer life.
    2. Participate actively in corporate prayer.
    3. Study and confess God's promises daily.
    4. Refuse to live in fear.
    5. Trust God's sovereignty even during difficult seasons.
    6. Stand with persecuted believers through prayer and practical support.

    Questions for Reflection

Am I depending more on human solutions than on God?
Is my prayer life strong enough to withstand spiritual battles?
Do I remain faithful when facing opposition?
How can I encourage and pray for Christians experiencing persecution?

    Powerful Prayer Points

    1. Father, every sword raised against my life and destiny, let it be broken in Jesus' name.
    2. Lord, send Your angels to deliver me from every visible and invisible prison.
    3. Every chain limiting my progress, break by the power of the Holy Spirit.
    4. Father, strengthen believers facing persecution around the world.
    5. Let every plan of the enemy against Your Church be frustrated.
    6. Fill me with boldness, wisdom, and unwavering faith.
    7. Lord, let Your divine protection surround my family and all who serve You.
    8. May my life continually testify to Your power and faithfulness.

    The Only True Remedy

The remedy to the sword of Herod is not fear.
    It is not compromise.
    It is not retaliation.
The Church's enduring remedy is steadfast faith in Christ, persistent prayer, unity among believers, and complete trust in God's sovereign power.
The same God who delivered Peter still hears the prayers of His people today. Whether He grants miraculous rescue, sustaining grace through suffering, or ultimate victory in eternity, His purposes cannot be defeated.

    Call to Action

Do not allow fear to silence your faith.
Become a believer who prays without ceasing, stands firmly on God's Word, and supports the Body of Christ. As you trust the Lord and remain faithful, remember that no earthly sword can destroy the eternal purpose of God for your life.

    PRAY FOR OUR SECURITY PERSONNEL

    Theme Scripture:

    1 Timothy 2:1–2

    > "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."

Every day while many of us sleep peacefully, thousands of security personnel remain awake. They stand at checkpoints, patrol dangerous roads, protect communities, rescue victims, and confront criminals. Many leave their families not knowing whether they will return home.
We often complain when security fails, but how often do we pray for those who risk their lives to protect us?
The Church has a divine responsibility—not only to pray for pastors and missionaries but also to intercede for those entrusted with maintaining peace and order. A praying Church strengthens a nation.
The battle for the safety of a nation is not won by weapons alone. It is also won on the altar of prayer.

    Key Bible Verses

    1. 1 Timothy 2:1–2
Paul commands believers to pray for those in authority so that society can enjoy peace and stability. Prayer is a spiritual investment in national security.
    2. Psalm 127:1
    > "Except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."
No amount of training or sophisticated equipment can replace God's protection. Human effort succeeds only when God watches over the city.
    3. Proverbs 21:31
    > "The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.
Preparation is necessary, but victory ultimately belongs to God.
    4. Psalm 91:11
    > "For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways."
God is able to assign heavenly protection over those serving in dangerous places.
    1. Security Personnel Carry Heavy Responsibilities
Whether they are soldiers, police officers, intelligence officers, civil defence personnel, immigration officers, firefighters, or other emergency responders, they daily face danger.
Many work under pressure, endure harsh conditions, and make difficult decisions within seconds.
Their assignment deserves our respect and our prayers.
    2. The Church Has a Responsibility to Intercede
    Prayer is not optional.
Throughout Scripture, God's people prayed whenever danger threatened the nation.
    When believers pray:
    God grants wisdom.
    God exposes evil plans.
    God preserves lives.
God frustrates the works of darkness.
    God brings peace to communities.
Intercession changes situations that weapons alone cannot change.
    3. Pray That God Will Preserve Their Integrity
    Security personnel face many temptations:
    Corruption
    Abuse of authority
    Fear
    Discouragement
    Bitterness
    Moral compromise
Our prayers should ask God to raise officers who love justice, reject corruption, and serve with integrity.
A righteous officer becomes a blessing to an entire nation.
    4. Pray for Their Families
Behind every uniform is a family waiting at home.
    Many spouses worry.
Children long for their parents' safe return.
Some families have endured the pain of losing loved ones in the line of duty.
Let us pray for divine comfort, provision, strength, and protection for every family connected to our security personnel.

    Biblical Example:

    King Jehoshaphat

In 2 Chronicles 20, a great army came against Judah.
King Jehoshaphat understood that military strength alone would not guarantee victory.
He proclaimed a national fast and sought the Lord.
God intervened, confused the enemy, and gave Judah victory without the usual battle.
This teaches us that national security depends not only on strategy but also on God's intervention.

    Practical Action Steps

Pray regularly for security personnel during your personal devotions.
Speak words of encouragement instead of constant criticism.
Obey lawful authorities and cooperate with security agencies.
Refuse to aid crime or protect criminals.
Teach your children to respect lawful authority.
Ask God to raise righteous men and women into positions of leadership.

    Deep Spiritual Insights

Prayer builds a spiritual hedge around a nation.
Peace is both a spiritual blessing and a societal necessity.
God can expose hidden enemies before they strike.
Every believer has a role in national transformation through faithful intercession.
National revival and national security often advance together when God's people seek Him.

    Questions for Reflection

    1. When was the last time I sincerely prayed for our security personnel?
    2. Do I criticize more than I intercede?
    3. Am I contributing to peace in my community?
    4. How can I encourage those who daily protect others?
    5. Am I helping build a safer society through my words, actions, and prayers?

    Powerful Prayer Points

    1. Father, protect every member of our security agencies wherever they are deployed.
    2. Lord, frustrate every plan of terrorists, kidnappers, armed robbers, and violent criminals.
    3. Give our security personnel wisdom, courage, discernment, and strength.
    4. Deliver them from corruption, compromise, and every evil influence.
    5. Surround them with Your angels and preserve their lives.
    6. Comfort and provide for their families.
    7. Grant peace to our communities, states, and nation.
    8. Raise leaders who fear God and pursue justice.
    9. Let every hidden plot against innocent lives be exposed and destroyed.
    10. May righteousness, justice, and peace prevail throughout our nation, in Jesus' name.

    Call to Action

Beloved, our security personnel need more than appreciation—they need our prayers. Every peaceful night, every safe journey, and every protected community is strengthened when God's people stand in the gap.
Let us refuse to be spectators. Become an intercessor for those who protect our land. As we lift them before God, may the Lord shield them from harm, grant them wisdom in every assignment, comfort their families, and establish lasting peace in our nation.

May the Lord preserve our security personnel, defend our nation, and cause righteousness and peace to flourish, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

  • PRAYER FOR THE DAY - ADAPTED FROM PSA 13.
[1] O Lord our God? Will You forget your children in captivity forever? They have been in their kidnappers den for 46 days now. How long will You hide Your face from us, Lord. Hearken oh Lord; hearken to our cries? [2] Lord of Hosts, how long will the enemies exalt themselves and triumph over us? [3] ¶Consider and answer us, O Lord our God; Give light (life) to our eyes, or do not allow your people to sleep the sleep of death; deliver oh Lord, deliver from the hands of the wicked. Bend their bows, and destroy their weapons of warfare. [4] Jehovah , you're the Man of war, let not the enemy say, “ they have have overcome us, they have triumphed”; let not our adversaries adversaries rejoice in our helpless. [5] ¶Everlasting God, we have have trusted and relied on you and has been confident in Your loving kindness, faithfulness, and graciousness; and power to deliver. Come to our rescue our Lord our God. Our hearts shall rejoice and delight in Your salvation. [6] We will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with us; our God has answered; He has granted us victory; and we will be joyful and rejoice in you our Lord, the El-Shaddai; Jehovah El- Sabaoth.

Arise Lord, and scatter these ones from the pit of hell.

  • TODAY'S MESSAGE.

    SERMON TOPIC:

A NATION UNDER PRESSURE NEEDS GOD.

Beloved, we live in a time when many nations are under tremendous pressure. Families are mourning. Communities are living in fear. Kidnappings, terrorism, banditry, economic hardship, corruption, and moral decline have placed enormous burdens upon society.

When a nation is under pressure, human wisdom alone is not enough. Political strategies alone are not enough. Military strength alone is not enough. A nation under pressure needs God.
History and Scripture reveal that whenever people turned back to God, He intervened and brought healing, restoration, and peace.

    Key Texts

    Psalm 33:12
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."
A nation becomes truly blessed when it acknowledges God's authority and follows His principles.
    2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
God's prescription for national healing begins with repentance and prayer.
    Proverbs 14:34
"Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."
National greatness is built upon righteousness.
POINT 1: NATIONAL CRISES ARE A CALL TO SEEK GOD
Whenever a nation experiences severe pressure, it should be a wake-up call to return to God.
Many people seek God only when trouble comes. Yet God allows challenges to remind humanity that without Him we can do nothing.

    Bible Example

During the reign of King Jehoshaphat, enemies gathered against Judah. The king did not depend solely on military power. He proclaimed a national fast and sought God.
    2 Chronicles 20:3-4
When the nation prayed, God fought for them and gave them victory.

    Lesson

National crises should drive us toward God, not away from Him.
POINT 2: GOD RAISES RIGHTEOUS LEADERS FOR TROUBLED NATIONS
    Leadership matters greatly.
A nation under pressure needs leaders who fear God, love justice, and value human life.

    Bible Verse

    Proverbs 29:2
"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."
Corruption, greed, and selfish leadership bring suffering.
God is able to raise men and women of integrity who will serve for the common good.

    Lesson

Pray continually for leaders at every level of government.
POINT 3: GOD EXPECTS HIS PEOPLE TO STAND IN THE GAP
God often looks for intercessors when a nation is in trouble.

    Bible Verse

    Ezekiel 22:30
"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land."
The church must not be silent.
    Prayer changes situations.
Revival begins when believers take responsibility for the spiritual condition of their nation.

    Lesson

Never underestimate the power of consistent intercession.
POINT 4: GOD CAN BRING PEACE WHERE FEAR REIGNS
Fear may dominate the headlines, but God remains sovereign.

    Bible Verse

    Isaiah 26:3
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee."
God specializes in bringing peace to troubled environments.
When God steps into a situation, confusion gives way to order, fear gives way to courage, and despair gives way to hope.

    Lesson
Trust God even when circumstances seem overwhelming.

    CASE STUDY:

    NINEVEH'S NATIONAL REPENTANCE

One of the greatest examples of national transformation is found in the Book of Jonah.
God sent Jonah to warn Nineveh of impending judgment because of its wickedness.
The king, leaders, and citizens humbled themselves before God. They fasted, prayed, and repented.
    Jonah 3:5-10
As a result, God showed mercy and spared the city.

    Lessons from Nineveh

    1. No nation is beyond God's mercy.
    2. Genuine repentance attracts divine intervention.
    3. God responds when people humble themselves.
    4. National transformation begins with spiritual transformation.

    PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS

    1. Pray Daily for Your Nation
Make intercession for peace, security, and righteous leadership.
    2. Live Righteously
National change begins with personal transformation.
    3. Support Justice and Truth
Refuse corruption and dishonesty in every form.
    4. Encourage Unity
Promote peace among tribes, regions, and communities.
    5. Share Hope
Be a voice of faith instead of spreading fear.
    6. Participate Responsibly
Contribute positively to community development and national progress.

    QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION

    1. Am I praying regularly for my nation?
    2. What role am I playing in promoting peace?
    3. Am I living according to God's standards?
    4. How can I become an agent of national transformation?
    5. Am I contributing hope or fear to those around me?

    PRAYER POINTS

    1. Father, have mercy upon our nation and forgive our sins.
    2. Lord, heal every troubled region and restore peace.
    3. Father, rescue every kidnapped victim and comfort grieving families.
    4. Lord, frustrate every plan of terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, and violent criminals.
    5. Father, strengthen and protect our security agencies.
    6. Lord, raise leaders of integrity, wisdom, and compassion.
    7. Father, let righteousness prevail in our land.
    8. Lord, bring economic restoration and opportunities for our people.
    9. Father, unite our nation and remove every spirit of division.
    10. Lord, let a mighty revival sweep across our nation and turn hearts back to You.

    Conclusion

A nation under pressure does not need despair; it needs God.
The answer to insecurity is not only stronger institutions but also spiritual renewal. The answer to fear is faith. The answer to corruption is righteousness. The answer to national pressure is divine intervention.

Let us pray, repent, trust God, and become instruments of peace.
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." (Psalm 33:12)
May God heal our land, restore our peace, and grant us a future filled with hope. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

TODAY'S MESSAGE. SERMON TOPIC: A NATION UNDER PRESSURE NEEDS GOD. Key Texts Psalm 33:12 "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." A nation becomes truly blessed when it acknowledges God's authority and follows His principles. 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." God's prescription for national healing begins with repentance and prayer. Proverbs 14:34 "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people." National greatness is built upon righteousness. POINT 1: NATIONAL CRISES ARE A CALL TO SEEK GOD Whenever a nation experiences severe pressure, it should be a wake-up call to return to God. Many people seek God only when trouble comes. Yet God allows challenges to remind humanity that without Him we can do nothing. Bible Example During the reign of King Jehoshaphat, enemies gathered against Judah. The king did not depend solely on military power. He proclaimed a national fast and sought God. 2 Chronicles 20:3-4 When the nation prayed, God fought for them and gave them victory. Lesson National crises should drive us toward God, not away from Him. POINT 2: GOD RAISES RIGHTEOUS LEADERS FOR TROUBLED NATIONS Leadership matters greatly. A nation under pressure needs leaders who fear God, love justice, and value human life. Bible Verse Proverbs 29:2 "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." Corruption, greed, and selfish leadership bring suffering. God is able to raise men and women of integrity who will serve for the common good. Lesson Pray continually for leaders at every level of government. • TODAY'S MESSAGE

IN THIS PERIOD OF BANDITRY AND KIDNAPPING — LORD, HAVE MERCY ON US.

    A Cry From the Heart

Beloved, we are living in challenging times. News of banditry, kidnapping, violence, and insecurity fills our communities. Many people leave their homes not knowing what the day may bring. Families are living in fear. Travelers are anxious. Parents are worried about their children.
In moments like these, the Church must not respond with panic but with prayer. We must not surrender to fear but run to God, who is our refuge and strength.
Today, our cry is simple yet powerful:
    "Lord, have mercy on us."
Mercy is what we need when human strength fails. Mercy is what we need when danger surrounds us. Mercy is what we need when we cannot control the circumstances around us.

    Key Bible Verses

    1. Psalm 121:7-8
"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."
God's protection is not limited by location. Whether at home, on the road, in the marketplace, or at work, God remains our Keeper.
    2. Psalm 91:1-2
"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

Protection is found in God's presence. The closer we walk with Him, the greater our confidence in His covering.
    3. Lamentations 3:22-23
"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not."
Many dangers are unseen. Every day we survive is evidence of God's mercy.
    4. Mark 10:47
"Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me."
Blind Bartimaeus understood that mercy can change impossible situations. Today, we cry for mercy upon our families, communities, and nation.

Point 1: God's Mercy Preserves When Human Security Fails
Security agencies have their role, but ultimately our safety comes from God.
    Psalm 127:1 says:
"Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."
This does not mean we neglect security measures. It means we recognize that our ultimate confidence is in God.
When God's mercy speaks, danger is diverted, traps are exposed, and lives are preserved.
Point 2: Fear Must Not Replace Faith
The goal of terror is not only to harm people physically but also to imprison them emotionally.
The enemy wants believers to live in constant fear.
Yet God says in Isaiah 41:10:
"Fear thou not; for I am with thee."
Faith is not pretending danger does not exist. Faith is believing that God remains greater than every danger.
A fearful heart loses strength, but a trusting heart finds peace even in difficult seasons.
Point 3: Prayer Is a Weapon Against Darkness
Throughout Scripture, whenever darkness increased, God's people prayed.
The Church cannot be silent while evil increases.
    2 Chronicles 7:14 declares:
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray... then will I hear from heaven."
    Prayer invites divine intervention.
    When believers pray:
    God releases protection.
    God exposes wicked plans.
    God strengthens leaders.
    God comforts victims.
    God restores peace.
Point 4: Mercy Must Lead Us to Repentance
National crises should also lead us to examine our hearts.

Sometimes God uses difficult seasons to awaken people spiritually.
    Joel 2:13 says:
"Turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful."
The answer is not merely political or economic. Our nation needs spiritual renewal.
Mercy flows where hearts return to God.
Point 5: Be a Carrier of Hope, Not Panic
Many people spread fear every day.
    Believers must spread hope.
Jesus called us the light of the world.
People around us should hear words of faith, encouragement, wisdom, and prayer.
The world has enough fear already. Let the Church become a source of hope.

    Biblical Case Study:

    Peter's Miraculous Deliverance

In Acts 12, Peter was arrested and imprisoned under heavy guard.
Humanly speaking, his situation looked hopeless.
But while Peter was in prison, the Church prayed earnestly.
God sent an angel, opened prison doors, removed chains, and brought Peter out safely.

    This story teaches us:

No prison is too secure for God.
No captivity is beyond God's power.
No situation is beyond divine intervention.
    Prayer can bring supernatural deliverance.
The same God who delivered Peter is still able to deliver His people today.

    Deep Spiritual Insights

    1. Mercy Often Protects Us From Dangers We Never See
Many attacks never happen because God's hand stopped them before they reached us.
    2. Prayer Is Preventive, Not Only Reactive
Do not wait for trouble before praying. Build a lifestyle of prayer.
    3. God's Presence Is Greater Than Any Threat
The safest place on earth is not a location—it is a life hidden in God.
    4. God Can Bring Good Out of Difficult Times

Periods of crisis often produce deeper faith, stronger prayer, and greater dependence on God.

    Practical Action Steps

    1. Pray daily for God's protection over your family.
    2. Speak Psalm 91 regularly over your household.
    3. Avoid unnecessary risks and exercise wisdom.
    4. Stay alert and security-conscious.
    5. Support victims and affected families through prayer and practical help.
    6. Pray for leaders, security personnel, and communities.
    7. Encourage others with faith-filled words.

    Questions for Reflection

    1. Is fear controlling my thoughts more than faith?
    2. How consistent is my prayer life concerning my family and nation?
    3. Do I truly trust God's protection?
    4. Am I spreading hope or spreading fear?
    5. What practical steps am I taking alongside my prayers?

    Powerful Prayer Points

    1.
Father, in this season of insecurity, let Your mercy speak over our lives and families in Jesus' name.

    2.
Every plan of kidnappers, bandits, and wicked men against innocent people, be frustrated by the power of God.
    3.
Lord, preserve our going out and our coming in from every form of evil.
    4.
Let divine protection surround our homes, communities, schools, churches, and workplaces.
    5.
Father, expose every hidden camp and secret operation of wicked men.
    6.
Grant wisdom, courage, and effectiveness to all security personnel protecting lives.
    7.
Comfort families who have lost loved ones and bring freedom to those in captivity.
    8.
Let peace return to our communities, states, and nation.
    9.
Revive Your Church and raise prayer warriors across the land.
    10.
By Your mercy, let Nigeria experience divine intervention, healing, and restoration.

    Call to Action

Church, this is not the time to surrender to fear. This is not the time to become discouraged. This is the time to pray more fervently, trust God more deeply, and stand together in faith.
When darkness increases, the light of God's people must shine brighter.

Lift your voice today and cry:
"Lord, have mercy on us. Have mercy on our families. Have mercy on our communities. Have mercy on our nation. Let Your protection, peace, and salvation cover us."
And as we trust in Him, may the Lord be our refuge, our shield, and our defender in Jesus' mighty name.
    Amen.

  • On one of our churches workers WhatApp group chats..someone posted a frightful message concerning the kidnappers and kidnapping in the country, Nigeria. I was so piqued, and moved to create this image with chat GPT backed with strong scriptural arguments on how we should not be afraid but have faith!! I almost gave personal testimonies of God's divine and supernatural interventions in my life and family, over the years, the decades but I did not..
It would have become an epistle.

Guess what it was "deleted" by the admin..we have wishy washy Christians ( believers) in our generation #GodsGraceAndMercy #ThisGeneration #FaithlessGeneration #TheTruth

  • Dear Father,

In Nigeria, forty six children were kidnapped, and even more terrifying is that they showed no mercy to the children between the ages of two and seven. They are beaten and treated like criminals--innocent young minds who can barely distinguish evil from good.

I wonder if they are old enough for questions to linger in their minds, or if, according to their nature, they forgive the kidnappers each time they are mistreated. I also wonder how long this traumatic experience will linger after they are finally free. After praying, I dreamt that the nation needs to come together as one, build unwavering strategies, and fight for the change we desire to see.

When men built a tower to reach heaven, You Yourself affirmed: “Behold, the people is one, and nothing will be restrained from them...” For a long while, our desire for change has remained trapped in webs of intention and conversations, and we experience no change because we employ similar strategies--none that fully honor the power of speaking with one voice.

When all businesses shut down operations and we deny ourselves comfort, stepping right into the streets--both rich, poor, small and great, with no taxes paid and no future election honored until we see change...I believe the united voice of the people is capable of overcoming the terror that has gripped the nation.

Dear Father, In Nigeria, forty six children were kidnapped, and even more terrifying is that they showed no mercy to the children between the ages of two and seven. • Controllers & Rulers Of Marriage.

    19th of April 2026.

Women control while men rules in marriage.

As a woman if u can't control ur husband, you are not a good woman.

And as a man if you can't rule over ur wife you are not a good man.

Any man that cannot allow her wife to control him doesn't love her.

And any woman that cannot allow her husband to rule over her doesn't respect him.

What Does It Mean To Control & Rule In Marriage

For Example let me use Nigerian government as example cus I am from Nigeria. His excellency Ahmed Bola Tinubu is the president of Nigeria & Christopher Musa is the Chief of Army staff of Nigeria.

Chief of Army staff controls legions n battalion of Nigeria soldiers but doesn't rule them but Tinubu rules. Why because Chief of Army staff Christopher Musa was chosen n appointed by Ahmed Bola Tinubu and can be removed at anytime.

A controller can be removed n replaced by the decision of the ruler but a controller can't remove or replace the ruler by his own decision. So therefore a ruler is more powerful than a controller.

    Ephesians 5:21
[21]Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

In marriage brethren not only the wife that submit , husband also submit to the wife too. Submit yourselves one to another in the fear of God, so therefore both parties needs to be submissive to each other.

The husband submit to the controlling of the wife in love while the wife submit to the rulership of the husband in respect.

A woman controls in respect while the man rules in love.

I pray for every marriage that suffering right now. Let the fear of God to submit to each other be restored now in Jesus name we pray Amen. For it's written what the Lord has joined together let no man put asunder. Every cheating wife be delivered in Jesus name we pray Amen n every cheating husband be delivered now in Jesus name we pray Amen. Let faithfulness be restored back in ur marriage now in Jesus name we pray Amen. I present ur children into the hands of Almighty God they will be like olive plant round about ur tables according to the Word Of God in Psalms128. Ur children will not end up in drug addiction, prostitution, arm robbers, kidnappers, they will become what the Lord has destined them to be in life in Jesus name we pray Amen. Ur children will not bring shame n sorrow to u in Jesus name we pray Amen.
