• God's creation = 100 /evolution = 0
I thought I would do something different today. So often atheists say there are no “real” scientists who support young earth creation or a global flood.

    That simply isn’t true.

Here is a partial list of real scientists and their credentials from CMI's website. And yes, this is only a partial list.

We are not claiming numbers equal truth. But sometimes a little pushback is needed so people can see reality for what it is and understand that this claim just doesn’t hold up.

THE CRISIS OF THE EXHAUSTED LABOURER—WE MUST MINISTER TO THE MISSIONARY!
Grace, mercy, and apostolic fire to the Remnant! I am coming to you today with a deep, prophetic ache in my spirit. We have spent months talking about the harvest, the sickle, and the work, but the Spirit of the Lord has stopped me in my tracks to address a silent tragedy in the Kingdom: The hands that hold the sickle are becoming feeble, and the knees that carry the burden are shaking.
Hear the indictment of the Spirit: We have become a generation that consumes the oil of the missionary but refuses to trim their wick. We demand the "anointed word" but ignore the "anointed welder" who is burning out in the furnace of the field. In our drive for organizational expansion and global reach, we have forgotten that the missionary is not a machine; the missionary is a member of the Body that requires ministering!
Today, we are looking at Hebrews 12:12: "Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees." This is an apostolic mandate! It is time to minister to the sent ones.
THE EXPOSITORY REALITY: WHY THE HANDS BECOME FEEBLE
The missionary—the true labourer—is under a three-fold pressure that the average pew-sitter cannot comprehend:
Territorial Pushback: When you invade a territory to plant the Gospel, the "Prince of the Power of the Air" doesn't give up ground without a fight. The missionary lives in a constant state of spiritual friction.
Emotional Isolation: Many are in the "backside of the desert," far from family, familiar culture, and spiritual covering, facing the "daily pressure of all the churches" (2 Corinthians 11:28).
The Scarcity of the "Aaron and Hur" Support: In Exodus 17:12, Moses' hands became heavy. He was the leader, the prophet, the one with the rod—but he was still human. Without Aaron and Hur to hold his hands up, the battle would have been lost.
INTENSIFIED APOSTOLIC PRAYERS FOR THE MISSIONARY
Let us go into the courtroom of heaven. I want you to pray these with fire and intentionality. We are legislating strength for those on the frontlines!
    1. THE PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL REFRESHING (THE ONESIPHORUS ANOINTING)
"Lord, we lift up every missionary in the trenches today. We pray for a divine 'Onesiphorus' to find them. Just as he often refreshed Paul and was not ashamed of his chains (2 Timothy 1:16), we decree a supernatural refreshing over their spirits. We command the 'spirit of heaviness' to lift and the 'oil of joy' to be poured out! Let them find a fresh well in the wilderness!"
    2. THE PRAYER FOR PHYSICAL AND LOGISTICAL STRENGTH
"Father, we address the 'feeble knees.' We decree physical vitality and divine health over your sent ones. We stand against the weariness of the journey. We pray for the 'supply of the Spirit' and the supply of the saints. Let every financial lack be swallowed up in the abundance of the Kingdom! We decree that their cruse of oil shall not run dry and their flour shall not fail (1 Kings 17:14). Support them, Lord, with the fatness of the earth!"
    3. THE PRAYER FOR MENTAL FORTRESS AND EMOTIONAL ANCHORING
"We bind the spirit of discouragement and the 'Elijah syndrome' that whispers, 'I am the only one left.' Lord, open their eyes to see the seven thousand who have not bowed the knee! We decree mental clarity and emotional stability. Let the peace that passes all understanding guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We silence the voice of the accuser that tells them their work is in vain!"
    4. THE PRAYER FOR FRUITFULNESS AND SHARPENED SICKLES
"Lord, sharpen their sickle! We pray that as they labour, they shall see the fruit of their soul’s travail and be satisfied. Grant them 'apostolic signs and wonders' to validate the Word. We decree that no weapon formed against their mission, their family, or their reputation shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their hands for the harvest!"
THE CALL TO ACTION: BECOME AN APOSTOLIC STRENGTHENER!
We cannot just pray; we must act. We must make the care of the labourer a cornerstone of our structure.
DO THESE 3 THINGS RIGHT NOW:
IDENTIFY AND INTERCEDE: Take a minister or missionary and pray for him/ her / them today seriously, type in the comments YOUR HANDS ARE STRENGTHENED IN JESUS' NAME!" Let us flood this thread with prophetic encouragement!
PRACTICAL REFRESHING: Send a message, a seed, or a note of encouragement to a missionary today. Don't ask them for a "word"; give them a word of appreciation. Be the Onesiphorus they are crying out for.
    JOIN THE MOBILIZATION IN IBADAN:
If you are a tired missionary or a leader sensing burnout, DM this page immediately. We have resources specifically designed to transition you from an exhausted worker into a sustained, empowered labourer.
The harvest is great, but we must protect the harvesters. Strengthen the hands! Sharpen the sickle!

WAKE UP! STOP CALLING DEMONIC WARFARE A "BAD DAY"!
Grace and apostolic authority to you in the name of Jesus Christ! I am coming to you with an urgent, expository indictment against the spirit of slumber that has blinded the modern Church. Too many believers are being pummeled by the powers of darkness, yet they are sitting in their living rooms chalking it up to "stress," "bad luck," or "just having a bad week."
Hear me by the Spirit of the Lord: The enemy relies on your ignorance! Hosea 4:6 declares, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." When you cannot discern the difference between a natural circumstance and a coordinated demonic ambush, you leave your gates wide open for the thief to steal, kill, and destroy.
Today, we are stripping the camouflage off the enemy’s tactics. As labourers in this end-time harvest, we cannot afford to be spiritually blind. Here are the 5 Undeniable Signs You Are Under a Spiritual Attack—and how to forcefully shut it down!
    1. SUDDEN, UNEXPLAINED SPIRITUAL LETHARGY & LOSS OF HABITS
You were once on fire. You had your daily habits locked in, tracking your devotions, consistently accessing your digital document libraries, and feeding your spirit. Then, suddenly, opening the Bible feels like lifting a thousand pounds.
The Indictment: This is not physical fatigue; it is a spirit of heaviness. The enemy attacks your spiritual disciplines first because a soldier who won't pick up his sword is easily defeated.
The Word: Isaiah 61:3 tells us to put on "the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." You must force your flesh into alignment and reignite your daily spiritual tracking. Consistency is warfare!
    2. A BARRAGE OF UNCHARACTERISTIC, INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS
Are you suddenly bombarded out of nowhere with intense fear, irrational anxiety, thoughts of condemnation, or even suicidal ideation? Do not claim those thoughts as your own!
The Indictment: Satan cannot read your mind, but he can drop suggestions into it. These are what the Apostle Paul calls the "fiery darts" of the wicked one.
The Word: Ephesians 6:16 commands us, "above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one." Stop agreeing with the devil’s suggestions and start casting down every imagination (2 Corinthians 10:5)!
    3. EXTREME, IRRATIONAL STRIFE IN KEY RELATIONSHIPS
When you are under attack, the enemy will always try to isolate you. Suddenly, every conversation with your spouse, your ministry partners, or your mentors turns into an explosive, irrational argument over nothing.
The Indictment: The devil knows that one can put a thousand to flight, but two can put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30). He uses the spirit of offense to divide and conquer the labourers.
The Word: James 3:16 warns, "For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there." Recognize the spirit operating behind the person, hold your peace, and war in the spirit!
    4. REPEATED BLOCKAGES AT THE EDGE OF BREAKTHROUGH
Every time you are about to launch that project, publish that material, or step into a new dimension of organizational expansion, something miraculously "breaks" or falls apart at the last possible second.
The Indictment: This is not a coincidence; it is a territorial pushback! The enemy is trying to wear out your endurance so you will abort the birthing process of your destiny.
The Word: Remember Daniel 10:12-13. Daniel’s prayer was heard on the first day, but the demonic Prince of Persia withstood the angelic messenger for 21 days! You must possess the tenacity to outlast the resistance!
    5. A LOSS OF PASSION FOR THE HARVEST
The ultimate goal of a spiritual attack is to neutralize your effectiveness for the Kingdom. You stop caring about souls. You shift from a Kingdom-minded labourer into a mere religious worker, just going through the motions to collect a paycheck or maintain an image.
The Indictment: We are living in an hour where there is a severe scarcity of the sickle! When the enemy can dull your spiritual blade and convince you that souls don't matter, he has successfully taken you off the battlefield.
The Word: Jesus declared in Matthew 9:37-38, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." Do not let the enemy steal your mandate!
    YOUR CALL TO ACTION!
You are not permitted to be a casualty in this war! It is time to rise up, discern the attack, and use the Name of Jesus to command the enemy to release your life, your mind, and your destiny!
    TAKE THESE STEPS RIGHT NOW:
DECLARE YOUR DISCERNMENT: Type "I EXPOSE THE ENEMY AND TAKE BACK MY TERRITORY IN JESUS' NAME!" in the comments to set a public, prophetic decree!
SHARE THIS URGENT BROADCAST: There are believers on your timeline who think they are just "losing their minds" or having a "bad season." Share this right now to open their spiritual eyes and hand them their weapons back!
PRAY THIS WITH APOSTOLIC FORCE: "Father, I repent for spiritual blindness. I bind the spirit of heaviness, the spirit of division, and every territorial resistance fighting my breakthrough. I refuse to be a mere worker; I am a chosen labourer for Your harvest. I sharpen my sickle today. I plead the Blood of Jesus over my mind, my habits, and my relationships! Satan, your cover is blown, and your assignment is canceled! Amen!"

  • Teen Bible Adventures Armor of God - Unseen Forces Week 2
Teens face pressure, temptation, confusion, and spiritual pushback every day—but the Bible says the real fight isn’t against people. Paul explains that our struggle is against spiritual forces, not “flesh and blood.” That means the battle is invisible, but the impact is real. Not every problem is just emotional or social—some are spiritual. The enemy works subtly, not dramatically. You can’t win a spiritual battle with human strength, willpower, or personality. It must be fought Spiritually. So this is the reason we need to be prepared.
When we live for God all the way, we are bound to face the greatest threat to us, which is our enemy. In the unseen forces of evil. Listen close to our team today.

  • President Trump has issued a stark ultimatum to Nigeria over the ongoing violence against Christians, and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has confirmed the Pentagon is actively preparing military options in response.

    Compiled By Televangelist HB Morgan

A Unified Warning from the White House and Pentagon:
The U.S. administration has escalated its rhetoric into what now appears to be an operational stance. President Trump, in a forceful social-media post, directly accused the Nigerian government of failing to protect its Christian population from repeated attacks by Islamic extremist groups. He warned that unless Abuja takes immediate and decisive action, the United States will not only halt all aid and assistance but may also intervene militarily.

Trump’s words were unambiguous: “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.”

    Pentagon Signals Readiness:
In a rare and direct public response, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth echoed the president’s ultimatum, signaling that the Department of War is already preparing contingency plans. His reply, a crisp *“Yes sir,”* underscored the seriousness with which the Pentagon is treating the commander-in-chief’s directive.

Hegseth elaborated further: “The killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria — and anywhere — must end immediately. The Department of War is preparing for action. Either the Nigerian government protects Christians, or we will kill the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.”

This statement leaves little doubt that the U.S. military is moving beyond rhetorical condemnation and into a posture of readiness, with operational planning underway should the president order intervention.

    The Broader Context
The exchange between Trump and Hegseth comes against the backdrop of mounting international concern over sectarian violence in Nigeria, where extremist groups have repeatedly targeted Christian communities. The president’s threat to cut off aid — coupled with the Pentagon’s confirmation of military planning — marks a significant escalation in U.S. policy toward the West African nation.

While previous administrations have condemned religious persecution abroad, the current White House has taken a far more aggressive stance, openly threatening direct military involvement if the Nigerian government fails to act.

    What This Means Going Forward:
The coordinated messaging from both the Oval Office and the Pentagon suggests that Washington is prepared to translate words into action. Whether this results in diplomatic pressure, suspension of aid, or actual military strikes will depend on Nigeria’s response in the coming days.

For now, the message is clear: the United States is no longer content with warnings alone. The protection of Christians in Nigeria has been elevated to a matter of U.S. national interest, with the Pentagon poised to act if ordered.

Pentagon Poised After Trump’s Warning — SecWar Pete Hegseth: “Yes sir.”:

The U.S. administration has escalated its stance on religious violence in Nigeria, with President Trump issuing a blunt ultimatum and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth confirming that the Pentagon is preparing military options. The coordinated messaging signals a shift from rhetoric to operational readiness, placing Nigeria’s handling of extremist violence under unprecedented scrutiny.

    Trump’s Ultimatum:
In a forceful social-media post, President Trump directly accused the Nigerian government of failing to protect its Christian population from repeated attacks by Islamic extremist groups. His warning was explicit:

“If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.”

The president’s words combined both economic and military threats, making clear that U.S. patience has run out.

    Pentagon’s Response:
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth responded publicly and without hesitation: "Yes sir". He elaborated that the Department of War is already preparing contingency plans:

"The killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria — and anywhere — must end immediately. The Department of War is preparing for action. Either the Nigerian government protects Christians, or we will kill the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.” This rare, direct acknowledgment from the Pentagon underscores that the White House directive is being translated into operational posture.

    U.S.–Nigeria Relations: A Long Partnership!
The ultimatum comes against the backdrop of a decades-long relationship between Washington and Abuja. For more than 50 years, the United States and Nigeria have maintained a close security partnership, rooted in Nigeria’s role as Africa’s most populous country and largest economy. The U.S. has supported Nigeria through counterterrorism training, intelligence sharing, and joint operations against extremist groups such as Boko Haram and ISIS-West Africa.

    Historically, U.S. engagement has included:
    - Military training and equipment transfers to strengthen Nigeria’s armed forces.
    - Joint operations through regional coalitions like the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF).
    - Economic and humanitarian aid, often tied to governance and human rights benchmarks.

Despite this cooperation, tensions have periodically surfaced, particularly over human rights concerns and Nigeria’s uneven record in protecting vulnerable communities.

    A Potential Turning Point
Trump’s warning and Hegseth’s confirmation suggest a potential break from the traditional U.S. approach of cautious partnership. While past administrations emphasized diplomacy and capacity-building, the current White House is openly threatening direct intervention.

If carried out, such action would mark a dramatic escalation in U.S. policy toward Nigeria, shifting from support and partnership to unilateral military engagement. The Nigerian government now faces a stark choice: demonstrate immediate and credible protection of Christian communities, or risk losing U.S. aid and potentially facing American military force.

    What Comes Next:
The coming weeks will determine whether this exchange remains a war of words or evolves into concrete action. Nigeria’s response — whether through stronger domestic security measures or diplomatic engagement with Washington — will be pivotal.

For now, the message from Washington is unmistakable: the protection of Christians in Nigeria has been elevated to a matter of U.S. national interest, and the Pentagon is poised to act if ordered.

Nigeria’s potential responses to the U.S. ultimatum range from diplomatic pushback to military recalibration, with each path carrying major consequences for its sovereignty, security, and international standing.

    Diplomatic Response Scenarios:
Nigeria’s first line of defense is likely to be diplomatic engagement. Historically, Abuja has resisted external pressure while simultaneously seeking to preserve its strategic partnership with Washington. Possible moves include:

    - Formal Denial and Rebuttal: Nigerian officials may publicly reject U.S. claims, as they have in past disputes, insisting that the government is already combating extremist groups like Boko Haram and ISIS-West Africa.
    - Appeal to Multilateral Forums: Nigeria could raise the issue at the African Union or United Nations, framing U.S. threats as an infringement on sovereignty.
    - Backchannel Negotiations: Quiet diplomacy may be pursued to reassure Washington of Nigeria’s commitment to protecting Christians while avoiding direct confrontation.

    Military and Security Posture
If the U.S. threat escalates, Nigeria may adjust its military strategy in several ways:

    - Increased Domestic Operations: Abuja could intensify counterterrorism campaigns in the north, both to demonstrate resolve and to preempt U.S. intervention.
    - Diversification of Security Partnerships: Nigeria may deepen ties with **Russia, China, or regional African powers** to counterbalance U.S. pressure, a strategy it has flirted with in the past.
    - Defensive Preparations: While unlikely to engage the U.S. militarily, Nigeria could reposition forces to signal readiness and deter any perception of weakness.

    Economic and Aid Considerations:
President Trump’s warning to cut off U.S. aid is significant. Nigeria is a major recipient of American assistance, particularly in health, humanitarian relief, and security cooperation. Losing this support would:

    - Strain Nigeria’s already fragile economy.
    - Undermine counterterrorism capacity, which relies heavily on U.S. intelligence and equipment.
    - Push Nigeria to seek alternative funding sources, potentially from China’s Belt and Road Initiative or Gulf states.

    Public Opinion and Domestic Politics
The ultimatum may also reverberate inside Nigeria:
    - Christian Communities: Likely to welcome U.S. pressure as a protective measure.
    - Muslim Communities: May view the threat as an attack on Nigeria’s sovereignty and religious balance, fueling resentment.
    - Political Leadership: The government will face pressure to appear strong against foreign threats while also preventing escalation.

    Forward-Looking Analysis:
The U.S. ultimatum has created a high-stakes diplomatic standoff. Nigeria’s most probable course is to intensify domestic counterterrorism efforts while engaging in quiet diplomacy to avoid aid suspension and military confrontation. However, if Washington perceives these steps as insufficient, the risk of unilateral U.S. action remains.

In short: Nigeria must walk a tightrope — demonstrating sovereignty and capability while preventing a rupture with its most powerful security partner.

  • From the burning of churches to mass displacement and international outcry, the plight of Christians in Nigeria has reached a crescendo—drawing attention from global media, religious freedom advocates, and foreign governments alike.

    Compiled By Televangelist HB Morgan

    Flames, Graves & Exodus: Unfolding Crisis;
Since 2009, Nigeria has witnessed a staggering number of attacks on Christian communities: 18,000 churches reportedly burned, over 50,000 Christians killed, and this year alone, millions displaced from their homes. In regions like the Middle Belt and the north, believers say the violence is no accident—it’s disparately targeted. Some reports estimate 7,000 Christian deaths in 2025 alone, underscoring how quickly the toll continues to rise. Victims speak of raids by armed groups—some shouting religious slogans—attacking villages, setting homes ablaze, kidnapping children, and slaughtering families. Others describe how pastors and congregants flee into forests or camps, carrying nothing but their faith and trauma.

    The Global Alarm: From Capitol Hill to the Courts;
These scenes haven’t gone unnoticed. On October 31, 2025, former U.S. President Donald Trump moved to label Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern” under America’s International Religious Freedom Act, a designation that opens the door to sanctions and the suspension of non-humanitarian aid.

Trump framed the violence as an existential threat to Christianity, naming “radical Islamists” as the culprits behind what he called mass slaughter. Backing this push, U.S. Senators such as Ted Cruz have cited the staggering death toll and the sheer scale of church burnings as evidence of deliberate suppression of Christians. Congressman Riley Moore, too, called for re-designation, arguing that U.S. taxpayer dollars should not support a state that fails to protect religious minorities.

Meanwhile, global non-profits and religious watchdogs have amplified pressure. Open Doors International, for example, continues to publish data showing Nigeria as one of the deadliest countries for Christians, with widespread destruction of Christian infrastructure and forced abandonment of homes.

    Nigerian State: Pushback & Counterargument;
The Nigerian government has not accepted this narrative passively. In response to Trump’s designation, President Bola Tinubu strongly rejected the characterization and defended Nigeria as a country with constitutional protections for all faiths.

Abuja insists that insecurity in Nigeria is not religion-driven but stems from complex issues—terrorism, banditry, communal conflict, land disputes, and arms trafficking. The government and its allies note that Muslims are also frequent victims of attacks, especially in northern regions where violence is pervasive.

Some Nigerian voices have pushed back harder on the genocide narrative. For instance, former media aide Reno Omokri characterized claims of Christian genocide as political, not factual. He argued that the term is misused to distort Nigeria’s internal challenges.
Likewise, critics point out that framing the strife solely through sectarian lines erases Muslim suffering and oversimplifies deeply rooted socio-economic conditions.

Between Two Narratives: Complexity, Truths & Dilemmas:
The truth likely lies amid overlapping realities. Yes, faith-based targeting appears evident - churches, pastors, Christian neighborhoods. But Nigeria’s turmoil is also tied to contested land, climate stress, youth militias, ethnic rivalry, herder-farmer friction, and insurgencies that draw recruits from varied motivations.

Reporting from civil liberties organizations suggests that between July 2009 and April 2023, over 52,000 Christian deaths were recorded—many attributing that number to religiously motivated violence.
Still, government data is scarce, and many incidents occur in remote zones where independent verification is difficult.

This ambiguity has real consequences. If the global community treats this as religious persecution, pressure may mount for targeted sanctions or intervention. But if seen as generalized insecurity, then the broader national strategy must adjust.

Why This Matters: Faith, Humanity & Policy:
This crisis compels a deeper look at the intersection of faith and governance. For Christians living under threat, abandonment isn’t an option—they look to strength from within, from international Christian solidarity, from media amplification, and from pressure on governments that wield diplomatic weight.

For foreign governments, decisions now carry moral weight: Will Nigeria remain a “partner” in development and security? Or will it face punitive measures if judged to be complicit in religious violation?

For Nigeria itself, the challenge is existential. Either it upholds a vision of multi-faith coexistence or risks deeper fractures—religious, regional, political.

In short: Nigeria’s Christian persecution has moved from local tragedy to a global flashpoint, testing the capacity of nations, churches, and international law to respond.

From the burning of churches to mass displacement and international outcry, the plight of Christians in Nigeria has reached a crescendo—drawing attention from global media, religious freedom advocates, and foreign governments alike. Compiled By Televangelist HB Morgan Flames, Graves & Exodus: Unfolding Crisis; Since 2009, Nigeria has witnessed a staggering number of attacks on Christian communities: 18,000 churches reportedly burned, over 50,000 Christians killed, and this year alone, millions displaced from their homes. The Global Alarm: From Capitol Hill to the Courts; These scenes haven’t gone unnoticed. Nigerian State: Pushback & Counterargument; The Nigerian government has not accepted this narrative passively. • Together in Christ: 'Strong and Courageous' — Deuteronomy 31:6
    Friday, September 27, 2024
[As Moses was handing over leadership to Joshua, Moses said to him,] "So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before [the nations across the Jordan River]. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you."
    — Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT
    Key Thought...
Encouragement from faithful Christian friends is a great blessing! Their words of affirmation and support are a great encouragement when entering a new undertaking, facing personal trials, or stepping into a leadership position. Their prayers for our strength, holiness, and courage mean a great deal when we face pushback from Satan and doubt from those around us who have less faith. I especially love those messages when these friends couple their words of encouragement with God's promises or biblical prayers. Here are two passages that mean a great deal to me:
[The Lord said to Isaiah,] "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.. . ."Those who attack you will come to nothing. For I hold you by your right hand — I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, 'Don't be afraid. I am here to help you. Though you are a lowly worm, O Jacob, don't be afraid, people of Israel, for I will help you. I am the Lord, your Redeemer. I am the Holy One of Israel.' " [1]
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. [2]
Words of encouragement and affirmation that come from God and are attached to people we know in Scripture make them very powerful for us. We know their lives' outcomes and can follow their examples of faith! [3] God's presence and power in their lives can bring God's presence and power into our lives. So, please hear two messages today from our devotional thoughts on relationships:
I am praying each of these Scriptures over you as I send this devotional to you. I may not know you personally until we are with Jesus in glory, but you matter to me, and I want you to embrace your life of faith with strength and courage as Joshua did!
You know friends, leaders, and folks who are struggling and who need you to share some biblical encouragement with them. These words of Scripture and your prayers can help them continue strong in their faith while under trial, in leadership, or facing hard times.
[1] Isaiah 41:10, 12-14. The wording both here and in Isaiah 41:8 show that "Jacob" sometimes refers to the nation of Israel.
    [2] 2 Timothy 1:7-8.
    [3] Hebrews 13:7.
    Today's Prayer
Almighty God, please use these words from Your holy Scriptures to bless those I love and want to encourage:
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort [them] and strengthen [them] in every good thing [they] do and say. [A]
Now all glory to God, who is able to keep [us] from falling away and will bring [us] with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen. [B]
    [A] 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17.
    [B] Jude 1:24-25.

Ending the Leftist Think Monopoly on Campus | Richard K. Vedder
For learning and discovery communities to flourish, there has to be a diversity of ideas that are explored and debated, with multiple perspectives discussed civilly by veteran scholars--the faculty--as well as inquisitive young learners--the students. While campuses in recent years have obsessed over what are intellectually relatively unimportant dimensions of diversity, such as the skin color of
