Throughout his ministry Isaiah bore a plain testimony concerning God's purpose for the heathen. Other prophets had made mention of the divine plan, but their language was not always understood. To Isaiah it was given to make very plain to Judah the truth that among the Israel of God were to be numbered many who were not descendants of Abraham after the flesh. This teaching was not in harmony with the theology of his age, yet he fearlessly proclaimed the messages given him of God and brought hope to many a longing heart reaching out after the spiritual blessings promised to the seed of Abraham.... Often the Israelites seemed unable or unwilling to understand God's purpose for the heathen. Yet it was this very purpose that had made them a separate people and had established them as an independent nation among the nations of the earth. Abraham, their father, to whom the covenant promise was first given, had been called to go forth from his kindred, to the regions beyond, that he might be a light bearer to the heathen. Although the promise to him included a posterity as numerous as the sand by the sea, yet it was for no selfish purpose that he was to become the founder of a great nation.... “I will bless thee,” Jehovah declared, “and make thy name great; ... in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” ... No distinction on account of nationality, race, or caste, is recognized by God.... Christ came to demolish every wall of partition, to throw open every compartment of the temple courts, that every soul may have free access to God. His love is so broad, so deep, so full, that it penetrates everywhere. It lifts out of Satan's influence those who have been deluded by his deceptions, and places them within reach of the throne of God, the throne encircled by the rainbow of promise. (John 17:17) Reliable The archaeologist William Ramsay (1852-1916) was known for carefully studying the events described in the New Testament, especially in the Acts of the Apostles and in the Pauline Epistles. When he first travelled to Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey), many cities mentioned in Acts were not known, and even less was known about their history.  The Acts of the Apostles was the only historical document, and Ramsay, who was sceptical, fully expected his research to expose Luke, the writer of Acts, as hopelessly inaccurate. Therefore, he set out to thoroughly examine this book of the Bible. He devoted his life to excavating the ancient cities and documents of Asia Minor.  After a lifelong study, however, he concluded: “Further study … showed that the book [Acts of the Apostles] could bear the most minute scrutiny as an authority for the facts of the Aegean world, and that it was written with such judgment, skill, art, and perception of the truth as to be a model of historical statement.” Ramsay further stated, “I set out to look for truth on the borderland between Greece and Asia, and found it here [in Acts of the Apostles]. You may press the words of Luke in a degree beyond any other historian’s and they stand the keenest scrutiny and the hardest treatment.”  When Ramsay turned to the Apostle Paul’s letters, which critics labelled as forgeries, he concluded that all thirteen of Paul’s New Testament letters were authentic.  All reports of the Bible are reliable because God’s Word is truth! God's Word Is Sure Whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. -Mark11:23-24 These are days when we need to have our faith strengthened, when we need to know God. God has designed that the just will live by faith (Rom.1:17), no matter how they may be fettered. I know that God's Word is sufficient. One word from Him can change a nation. His Word is "from everlasting to everlasting". (Ps. 90:2). It is through the entrance of this everlasting Word, this incorruptible seed, that we are born again and come into this wonderful salvation. "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matt. 4:4). This is the food of faith. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Rom.10:17). Everywhere people are trying to discredit the Bible and re[1]move its miracles. One preacher says, "Well, you know, Jesus arranged beforehand to have that colt tied where it was and for the men to say just what they did." (See Matthew 21:2-3.) I tell you, God can arrange everything. He can plan for you, and when He / plans for you, all is peace. All things are possible if you will believe. Another preacher says, "It was an easy thing for Jesus to feed the people with five loaves. The loaves were so big in those days that it was a simple matter to cut them into a thousand pieces 1 each." (See John 6:5-13.) But he forgets that one little boy brought \ those five loaves all the way in his lunch basket. There is nothing impossible with God. Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 17 août 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar. God drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters, at the boundary of light and darkness. (Job 26:10) The earth – ingeniously protected Water is essential for life as we know it. Water can be found everywhere on earth. Clouds carry it there, sometimes it rains or snows, other times fog carries it; even in deserts, dew falls.  On earth, there are 1.4 billion cubic kilometres of water in an endless cycle. Only 0.0001 percent of it exists as water vapour in the atmosphere. To ensure that none of this precious resource is lost, there is a kind of built-in vapour barrier above us. When water evaporates and rises, it freezes into ice crystals. These crystals then fall back down due to gravity.  This process prevents water from evaporating into space, and thus maintains a temperate planet, suited to the continuation of life.  Additionally, we have our atmosphere. If there were neither an earth atmosphere nor an earth magnetosphere, we would be constantly exposed to x-rays, bombarded by solar wind, and hit by meteorites. Life would be exterminated, and the planet earth uninhabitable. However, as it is, the earth travels through the solar system at supersonic speed, protected by the ozone layer and the atmosphere.  I must confess, I lack the belief that all of this could have happened randomly and gradually formed, so perfectly and beautifully. No – God “drew a circular horizon” and formed the atmosphere and the horizon on earth. And into the universe, He placed lights “for signs and seasons, and for days and years”.  With David, I say, “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork” (Genesis 1:14; Psalm 19:1). “With Jesus, every unexpected moment can become a beautiful surprise.” When unexpected moments come into our lives, they can completely change our plans. When things do not happen the way we expected, we often become afraid and wonder, “What will happen now?” But we must never forget one thing: what is unexpected to us is never unexpected to God. When the wine ran out at the wedding in Cana, it was a situation that could have brought great embarrassment to the family. But when that shortage came to Jesus’ attention, it became an opportunity for a miracle. Water was turned into wine; shortage became abundance; worry turned into joy. What was an unexpected problem to the people became an opportunity for Jesus to reveal His glory. In the same way, when you face an unexpected situation in your life today, don’t ask only, “Why did this happen?” Perhaps God is inviting you to wait with faith and ask, “What is He going to do through this?” Where you see an ending, Jesus may see a new beginning. Where you see shortage, Jesus may see a miracle. Where you see tears, Jesus may see the seed of a testimony. “To Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” — Ephesians 3:20 So, do not be afraid of the unexpected. Instead of focusing on the unexpected situation, focus on Jesus who is with you in that situation. Because when Jesus is present, even an unexpected moment can become a beautiful testimony that you will never forget. Your story is not over yet. 🌿 Mystical Gardens Tale 🌿 The Cooling Waters Jill had decided that summer had officially become personal. The heat had been unbearable for days. Not the pleasant kind of summer warmth that made people want to sit outside with a cold drink. This was the kind of heat that seemed to crawl beneath your skin and stay there. Jill woke up irritated. She stepped outside and immediately began sweating. “Wonderful,” she muttered. “It's going to be another one of those days.” Her car wouldn't start. “Of course it won't.” The air conditioner at work wasn't working properly. “Of course it isn't.” Someone had left a door open, letting hot air into the building. “Who does that?” Then someone accidentally bumped into her in the hallway. “Watch where you're going!” The woman stopped and stared at Jill. “I'm sorry.” Jill walked away without answering. She didn't notice the hurt look on the woman's face. By lunchtime, Jill was ready to scream. The restaurant was crowded. Someone's child was crying. A man at the next table was talking too loudly. The waitress brought Jill the wrong drink. “This isn't what I ordered.” “I apologize. I'll get you another one.” “And could you please get it right this time?” The waitress's smile disappeared. Jill didn't notice. Or perhaps she did, but she was too irritated to care. Everything seemed to bother her. A phone ringing. A dog barking. Someone chewing too loudly. A car driving too slowly. A person looking at her for what Jill was certain was too long. “What are you looking at?” she snapped. The man quickly looked away. By late afternoon, Jill was exhausted. And angry. Mostly angry. She couldn't even explain why anymore. All she knew was that everything was getting on her nerves. Then, on her way home, Jill saw something she hadn't seen before. A narrow path between two old trees. It hadn't been there yesterday. Jill stopped. She stared at it. Beyond the trees was a faint green glow. Normally, she would have walked away. But today she was hot, tired, frustrated, and completely out of patience and whatever was there had to be better than here, so she stepped onto the path. Within moments, the world changed. The heat disappeared. Jill stopped walking. A cool breeze brushed across her face. She closed her eyes. “Oh…” She hadn't realized how badly she needed that. The garden stretched out before her. Tall trees formed a canopy overhead. Little streams wound between moss-covered stones. Flowers opened beneath the shade, and somewhere nearby, water trickled over smooth rocks. There were no car horns. No ringing phones. No barking dogs. No crying children. No voices demanding anything from her. Just quiet. Beautiful, peaceful quiet. Jill sat beside the stream and dipped her hands into the cool water. For the first time all day, her shoulders relaxed. She took a deep breath. Then another. And suddenly, something uncomfortable happened... She began remembering. The woman in the hallway. “Watch where you're going!” The waitress. “Could you please get it right this time?” The man at the restaurant. “What are you looking at?” Her coworker. “Who does that?” One memory after another came rushing back. Jill lowered her head. “Oh no.” She hadn't simply been having a bad day. She had been handing that bad day to everyone around her. She had taken her frustration, her discomfort, and her exhaustion and thrown them at people who hadn't caused any of it. The garden remained silent. But Jill had the strange feeling that the giant tree at the center of the garden was watching her. “I was miserable,” she whispered. A leaf drifted down beside her. Jill picked it up. “I was hot. I was tired. Everything was going wrong.” She sighed. “But that doesn't mean I had to make everybody else miserable too.” The breeze moved gently through the branches. Jill smiled sadly. “You know what's worse?” She looked toward the path. “I don't even know if any of them deserved an apology from me.” She paused. “Of course they do.” For the first time that day, Jill laughed at herself. She had spent hours thinking everyone else was the problem. But the garden had given her something the heat never could. Perspective. Jill stood. “I can't undo what I said.” She looked toward the great tree. “But I can go back and do better.” The garden seemed to grow a little brighter. Jill stepped onto the path. The heat returned when she reached the other side. But something inside her had changed. The temperature hadn't changed. Her circumstances hadn't changed. Her car was still broken. The air conditioner still wasn't working. Tomorrow might be just as hot. But Jill wasn't going to let the heat decide who she was. The next morning, she found the woman from the hallway. “I'm sorry,” Jill said. The woman looked surprised. “For yesterday. You didn't deserve the way I spoke to you.” Then Jill found the waitress. She apologized there too. And when someone accidentally bumped into her later that afternoon, Jill felt irritation rising inside her. She opened her mouth. Then stopped. She took a breath. “It's okay,” she said. The person smiled. And Jill smiled back. That evening, Jill returned to the garden. She sat beneath the great tree with her feet beside the cool stream. “Thank you,” she whispered. She finally understood something the garden had been trying to teach her. Sometimes we are uncomfortable. Sometimes we are tired. Sometimes the world seems to be working against us. And sometimes we have every reason to be frustrated. But our circumstances may explain why we're hurting without giving us permission to hurt someone else. The garden could cool Jill's skin. But only she could choose to cool the anger in her heart. And that choice was worth far more than a cool breeze. Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 16 août 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar. When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only. (Matthew 17:8) Seeing only Christ The Lord Jesus went up on a high mountain with Peter, James and John. There, He showed them His glory as a preview of the future kingdom. Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Christ (Matthew 17:1-8). The disciples were impressed when they recognised these devoted men of faith. Immediately, Peter had an idea: “If You wish, let us make here three tabernacles, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” Hardly had he finished speaking when a voice came from the bright cloud that overshadowed them: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”  With these words, God the Father redirected the disciples’ focus to the Lord Jesus. They were to recognise that He is the beloved Son of the Father, the One in whom the Father always delights. When the disciples heard the voice, they fell on their faces and were afraid. Later, they opened their eyes again. They saw only Jesus – Him alone!  This is precisely what God the Father also wants to achieve today with all believers. For example, when we are gathered for the breaking of bread, He directs our thoughts to His beloved Son. He shows us what this One means to Him. Everything else should fade into the background so that we only see and admire the Lord Jesus. Then we will praise and worship the Father and the Son from the bottom of our hearts.  “We shall see Him as He is.” (1 John 3:2) Today’s reading: Joshua 15:20-16:10 – 1 Corinthians 13:1-13
