THROWBACK THURSDAY - Seeing news reports of a friend’s house in Canton, Ohio exploding reminded me of what happened to my childhood home in 2018 months after my parents passed away. Fortunately, I have an eternal home waiting for me that will never be damaged by the enemy. THROWBACK THURSDAY - While ministering at parades, you run into various characters. In 2014, I met the Pink Panther. It reminded me of this riddle: What did the Pink Panther say when he stepped on an ant? “Dead ant…dead ant…dead ant, dead ant, dead ant…” (sung to the tune of his theme song)

Throwback when I sat at balcony during the sermon of The Ascending Day of Jesus Christ at church in Indonesia. The song is about the glory to God and atfer this one we continue sang Doxology.

THROWBACK THURSDAY - My late friend Rick Keenan didn’t want many photos taken of him for security reasons. This is one of the few I have of him. In 2017, I stayed a few days with my friend Josh. One day we stopped by Rick’s print shop. He showed Josh and his daughter how he printed up gospel tracts.

THROWBACK THURSDAY - Two days ago, my roommate took me out for ice cream. It reminded me of a defunct ice cream shop in Fargo, North Dakota called the Dutch Maid Grill. While growing up in the 1970s, my dad often stopped here during Sunday afternoon drives and bought ice cream cones for the family. My favorite flavor then was licorice. I ordered that again during my recent ice cream run. 1 Timothy 6:17 says, God “…gives us richly all things to enjoy.”

THROWBACK THURSDAY - In 2014, I attended an outreach in St. Paul that featured two deejays. I already met Matthew John Bentley the previous year at the Future Sound of Worship gathering near Detroit, Michigan. I’ve since encountered Ben Krey at other events. Like these two men, I’ve deejayed playing Christian EDM, but mainly at house parties. God can use any genre of music as long as it glorifies Him instead of sin. The Bible says many times, “Sing to the Lord a new song.”

He was born in the days of king Herod. 🏥 God would have chosen Jerusalem. God would have picked a state-of-the-art hospital, and medical specialists. But No! GOD chose Bethlehem! Can any good thing come out of Nazareth, or Bethlehem? 🤴🏻 God may have let Jesus be born in the reign of a good king. Under the leadership of a benevolent monarch. But No! Jesus was born in the days of Herod. Herod, a despot, a maniac, a ruthless murderer. ____ GOD SOMETIMES HIDES HIS BLESSINGS IN PLACES THAT WE WOULD NOT NECESSARILY CHOOSE!
