  • Building People, Not Just Structures

At BMC Ministries, our ultimate aim is not only to build houses, roads, or physical infrastructure, but to build souls, communities, and disciples.

When we step onto a construction site, we carry more than tools; we carry the Gospel, prayer, and care for the worker. We want to minister to the hearts of those around us, pray with them, encourage them, and stand by them in trials.

    We believe:

A strong structure begins with a firm foundation.
Likewise, a strong life requires a foundation in Christ.
As we strengthen buildings, let us also strengthen the people who build them.

So, dear friends, if you are part of BMC Ministries or have partnered with us, ask yourself: Where can I bring encouragement today? Where can I bring hope?

  • Friday Encouragement — Giving God All the Glory
Blessings, dear brothers, and sisters in Christ.
As we come to the close of another week, my heart is filled with thanksgiving to Almighty God for His amazing grace and for the privilege He has given this very small but effective ministry to carry the compelling truth of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ into Pakistan.
Today, as the people of Pakistan celebrate their Independence Day, we rejoice with our brothers and sisters there and pray for their nation. We thank God for every door He has opened for the Gospel, every church that has been established, every pastor and ministry worker faithfully serving, and every precious soul who has heard the name of Jesus Christ proclaimed.
Our ministry may be small by the standards of this world, but we serve an Almighty God whose power is without limit. The effectiveness of any ministry does not depend upon its size, wealth, or recognition. It depends entirely upon the sovereign Lord who chooses to use ordinary servants to accomplish His extraordinary purposes.
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” — Zechariah 4:6
Today, let us especially pray for the Church in Pakistan. May believers grow strong in their knowledge of God’s Word. May pastors courageously and faithfully proclaim the whole counsel of God. May new believers become mature disciples of Jesus Christ. May Christian families remain steadfast in their faith and may the light of the Gospel continue shining into places where spiritual darkness remains.
Let us also pray for peace—not merely the temporary peace that governments and nations attempt to establish, but the true and everlasting peace that can only be found through Jesus Christ.
Our world desperately needs that peace.
Wars continue. Nations struggle. Families suffer. Fear and uncertainty surround millions of people. Yet the message entrusted to the Church remains unchanged:
    Jesus Christ is still Lord.
Jesus Christ still saves.
Jesus Christ is still our only true hope.
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” — Romans 5:1
As we prepare for the Lord’s Day, may we rejoice in what our sovereign God is accomplishing throughout the world and humbly thank Him for allowing each of us to participate through our prayers, our giving, our service, and our faithful proclamation of His Word.
May the Church of Jesus Christ grow strong in Pakistan and throughout the nations, and may the peace of Christ reign in hearts around the world.
To Almighty God alone belongs every victory, every transformed life, every opened door, and every measure of glory.
Serving Christ Together for His Glory Alone.
    Soli Deo Gloria.

  • The Almighty God, who is the Creator of the universe, is beyond compare — supreme in power, unmatched in holiness, miraculous in works, and overflowing with love and mercy.
This transcendent God revealed Himself to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came into this world so that we might truly understand who God is in a way tangible to us.

Indeed, there is none like Jesus — our Saviour, Healer, Miracle Worker, Counselor, Provider, Protector, Mediator, Teacher, Shepherd, Promise-Keeper, the Truth, the Way, and the Source of abundant Life, now and for all eternity.

Have a joyful day and let's exalt the name of Jesus above everyone and everything else in our lives.

    The Gospel From Calvary

WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM?

    ```TEXT: MARK 8:27-38```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` "And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ" (MARK 8:29).

In Mark 8, Jesus fed four thousand with seven loaves, and still the Pharisees sought a sign. Men ate and forgot. Then Jesus took His disciples to Caesarea Philippi and asked, “Whom say ye that I am?” It is the greatest question ever asked. Crowds can call Him John the Baptist, Elias, or a prophet, but you must answer for yourself. Peter answered, “Thou art the Christ.” And immediately Jesus began to teach them that the Christ must suffer, be rejected, be killed, and rise again. The Christ must go to Calvary.

Three truths from this confession: One, revelation must become personal. “But whom say ye that I am?” Not what your parents say, not what your pastor says. Who do you say He is? Your eternity hangs on this answer. Two, the Christ must die. “He began to teach them, that the Son of man must... be killed.” Peter wanted a Christ without a Cross. Many still do. But there is no Christ without Calvary. Three, to follow Him you must take your own cross. “Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” He died on His Cross for your salvation; you take up your cross for His glorification. To save your life is to lose it. To lose it for Him is to find it.

Who is Jesus to you today? A miracle-worker for bread only, or the Christ who died and rose for you? If He is truly the Christ, then follow Him — deny self, take up your cross, and follow.

✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` You can never truly confess Him as Christ until you have seen Him on His Cross.

  • Have you ever had a difficult team member, co-worker, servants in the ministry who's position is often “refusal” of your instruction at certain times.

How do you handle such? Lets share, learn and grow.

  • TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS

    SERMON TOPIC:

    DAVID WAS ANOINTED BUT HUNTED

Many people believe that once God anoints someone, life will become easy. But the Bible tells a different story. David was chosen by God, anointed by the prophet Samuel, and filled with the Spirit of the Lord—yet instead of immediately sitting on the throne, he spent years running for his life.
The oil of anointing did not remove the wilderness. It prepared him for it.
If you have been praying, serving God faithfully, and yet facing opposition, delays, rejection, or attacks, this message is for you. Your battles are not always signs that God has abandoned you. Sometimes they are evidence that heaven has marked you for a greater assignment.

    Key Bible Verses

    1. 1 Samuel 16:13
    > "Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward."
David was publicly chosen by God, but his circumstances did not change overnight. God's promise often comes before its fulfillment.
    2. 1 Samuel 18:8-9
    > "And Saul eyed David from that day and forward."
The same anointing that attracted God's favor also stirred jealousy in Saul. Sometimes the blessing on your life exposes the insecurity in others.
    3. Psalm 23:5
    > "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies..."
God did not promise David a life without enemies. He promised His presence and His provision in the midst of them.
    4. Romans 8:28
God works through every trial to accomplish His purpose for those who love Him. David's years of suffering became years of preparation.
    1. Your Anointing Does Not Exempt You from Trials
David was anointed one day and returned to caring for the sheep.
Soon afterward, he faced Goliath, endured Saul's jealousy, fled into caves, and lived as a fugitive.
Being chosen by God does not remove difficulties. Instead, it gives you the grace to overcome them.

Lesson: Never mistake opposition for God's absence.
    2. The Enemy Attacks What Heaven Has Chosen
Saul was not threatened by David's appearance but by God's hand upon his life.
The devil often attacks people whose future carries great kingdom significance.
Jesus Himself was opposed after His baptism and the Father's declaration of approval (Matthew 3:16–17; Matthew 4:1).

    Lesson:
Your warfare may reveal the value of your assignment.
    3. Character Is Developed Before Promotion
David had opportunities to kill Saul but refused.
He respected God's authority even when Saul misused it.
    The cave became David's classroom.
God is more interested in preparing the person than simply giving the position.

    Lesson:
Character sustains what gifts can only open.
    4. God's Timing Is Always Perfect
David waited many years before becoming king.
During that waiting season, God trained him in leadership, humility, patience, warfare, and dependence upon Him.
When the throne finally came, David was prepared to carry its responsibility.

    Lesson:
Waiting is not wasted when God is the One preparing you.
    5. Your Story Will End in Victory
David's enemies did not write the final chapter of his life.
The hunted shepherd eventually became Israel's greatest king.
    The cave was temporary.
    The throne was permanent.
God's promises cannot be cancelled by human opposition.

    Biblical Illustration

David's life from 1 Samuel 16 through 2 Samuel 5 demonstrates this truth.
    He defeated Goliath.
    He served Saul faithfully.
    He fled into caves.
    He gathered discouraged followers.
    He refused revenge.
    He trusted God's timing.
Finally, God established him as king over all Israel.
His journey proves that God's process is just as important as God's promise.

    Real-Life Application

Many believers today are like David.
A young preacher receives God's call but faces criticism.
A faithful worker loses opportunities because of jealousy.
A Christian business owner experiences setbacks despite honesty.
A student serves God sincerely but struggles before success arrives.
These experiences do not mean God has forgotten them.
Often, they are part of God's preparation.

    Practical Action Steps

Stay faithful even when your circumstances do not match God's promise.
Refuse bitterness toward those who oppose you.
    Develop your character while waiting.
Keep praying and worshipping through difficult seasons.
Trust God's timing instead of forcing your own promotion.
Remember that every trial can become preparation for greater responsibility.

    Deep Spiritual Insights

The anointing attracts both divine favor and spiritual warfare.
God's delays are often seasons of development, not denial.
    Hidden seasons produce visible victories.
God sometimes allows persecution to keep His servants humble and dependent upon Him.
Your greatest preparation often happens where no one is watching.

    Questions for Reflection

    1. Am I discouraged because God's promise has not yet been fulfilled?
    2. How am I responding to opposition?
    3. What lessons is God teaching me during this waiting season?
    4. Have I remained faithful while serving in hidden places?
    5. Do I trust God's timing more than my own plans?

    Powerful Prayer Points

    1. Father, thank You for choosing and calling me according to Your purpose.
    2. Lord, give me strength to endure every trial without losing faith.
    3. Every attack against my divine destiny, be defeated in the name of Jesus.
    4. Father, develop my character while preparing me for greater assignments.
    5. Lord, deliver me from bitterness, revenge, and discouragement.
    6. Let every delay in my life become a testimony of Your faithfulness.
    7. May Your favor surround me even in difficult seasons.
    8. Lord, bring me into the fullness of the destiny You have prepared for me.
    9. Every plan of the enemy against my calling shall fail in Jesus' name.
    10. Father, let my life end in victory, to the glory of Your holy name.

    Call to Action

David was anointed, yet hunted. He was chosen, yet challenged. He was promised a throne, yet lived in caves. But through every season, God remained faithful.
If you feel like David today, do not give up. The cave is not your final destination. The opposition you face cannot cancel the purpose God has spoken over your life. Stay faithful, keep your heart pure, continue to trust the Lord, and refuse to lose hope.

The same God who preserved David in the wilderness will preserve you. The God who fulfilled His promise to David will also fulfill every promise He has spoken over your life. Your anointing is not in vain, your waiting is not wasted, and your testimony is on the way. Amen.

If you have not given your life to Jesus kindly do so by joining a Bible believing Church.

The Enemy Attacks What Heaven Has Chosen Saul was not threatened by David's appearance but by God's hand upon his life. The devil often attacks people whose future carries great kingdom significance. Jesus Himself was opposed after His baptism and the Father's declaration of approval (Matthew 3:16–17; Matthew 4:1). Lesson: Your warfare may reveal the value of your assignment. 3. Character Is Developed Before Promotion David had opportunities to kill Saul but refused. He respected God's authority even when Saul misused it. The cave became David's classroom. God is more interested in preparing the person than simply giving the position. Lesson: Character sustains what gifts can only open. 4. God's Timing Is Always Perfect David waited many years before becoming king. During that waiting season, God trained him in leadership, humility, patience, warfare, and dependence upon Him. When the throne finally came, David was prepared to carry its responsibility. Lesson: Waiting is not wasted when God is the One preparing you. 5. Your Story Will End in Victory David's enemies did not write the final chapter of his life. The hunted shepherd eventually became Israel's greatest king. The cave was temporary. The throne was permanent. God's promises cannot be cancelled by human opposition. Biblical Illustration David's life from 1 Samuel 16 through 2 Samuel 5 demonstrates this truth. He defeated Goliath. He served Saul faithfully. He fled into caves. He gathered discouraged followers. He refused revenge. He trusted God's timing. Finally, God established him as king over all Israel. His journey proves that God's process is just as important as God's promise. Real-Life Application Many believers today are like David. Practical Action Steps Stay faithful even when your circumstances do not match God's promise. Refuse bitterness toward those who oppose you. Develop your character while waiting. Keep praying and worshipping through difficult seasons. Trust God's timing instead of forcing your own promotion. Remember that every trial can become preparation for greater responsibility. Deep Spiritual Insights The anointing attracts both divine favor and spiritual warfare. God's delays are often seasons of development, not denial. Hidden seasons produce visible victories. God sometimes allows persecution to keep His servants humble and dependent upon Him. Your greatest preparation often happens where no one is watching. Questions for Reflection 1. Am I discouraged because God's promise has not yet been fulfilled? 2. How am I responding to opposition? 3. What lessons is God teaching me during this waiting season? 4. Have I remained faithful while serving in hidden places? 5. Do I trust God's timing more than my own plans? Powerful Prayer Points 1. Call to Action David was anointed, yet hunted. • Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

I think the hardest witness that I have ever done is to someone that I love. Someone who is close to me. Someone that I admire. Someone who has overcome battles. Someone who I want to walk the streets of gold with. However, their views and my views are miles apart.

The world has intertwined so many ‘logical’ explanations, ‘logical’ conclusions, and ‘logical’ dismissals for believing in God.

    1. If there is a God, why do kids get sick?
    2. If there is a God, why do those who believe in him suffer?
    3. I asked God to help and he didn’t.
    4. There is no way that the flood happened.
    5. Once you die, you die…you cannot wake up again.
    6. I believe there is a higher power, but I don’t know about Jesus.
    7. Why would anyone purposefully die for someone they don’t know?

Seven very common, very real, very distinctive arguments that I have run into from those that I love. But the one that gets me the most is this: There are a lot of religions; what makes yours the right one?

Anyone else run into these scenarios? Or is it just me?

The first two kind of go hand in hand. Suffering. Illness. Without suffering, how would we know what was good? Without suffering, how could we learn empathy? Without suffering, how would we learn compassion?

Number 3 … I asked, and he did not answer. Hmm. What did you ask for? Money? Revenge? To fix something that He told you not to do in the first place? God always answers, but sometimes the answer is No. When the answer is No to what you are asking, there is a follow-up plan; you just have to be patient. That is one thing that the enemy has exploited to a bare thin thread. We do not have any.

Four has been proven by science. Five, if you can believe in a higher power, then why can you not believe in the Trinity? Then seven, Jesus came, he taught, he demonstrated and he died to demonstrate His love for us. He did not have to … He chose to. To demonstrate that we all have choices … some are more unpleasant than others.

Then finally, the last common one, there are so many religions … blah blah blah … There are. Factions, splits, denominations … I am sure that they are innumerable by now … however, there is only one tomb that is empty. There is only one way to heaven.

So, when you present facts and figures as it were, to family and they still disregard your pursuit, it cuts to the core. But know this: you may have only been the merchant who sold the seeds. Do not be disheartened. You may have only been the worker to plant the seed. Do not be discouraged. You may not be the one at the harvest, but prayerful watering that the right servant will be placed in their path; that is how I get over that hump of fear. Knowing that God has placed me where he wants me for those I am to sow into, and that he will place someone in my loved one’s path to do the same.

Do not let the enemy steal your peace for their salvation; continue to pray and speak love.

    Be blessed.

**So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. – 2 Corinthians 4:18

  • Daily Devotion: 2 Corinthians 4:18

People look at Christians in disbelief. Why? Because we believe in an unseen God. For a short while this God became a man, Jesus Christ, and he lived among the people of his time. He was a teacher, a prophet, a miracle worker and our Messiah.

The unfairness of his ending resonates through the ages. An innocent man, bearing the scorn and the torture of ignorant people and, finally, the crucifixion. Do you really understand what he did for us? He carried the burden of sin of every generation and gave them the opportunity to be forgiven. He was the final sacrifice and he went to it willingly.

Friends, He died for us and in his death we found redemption. In his resurrection we found a promise of life everlasting and in his ascension to heaven we received the hope of his return.

He sent the unseen Holy Spirit to support his people. This includes all nations that accept him as our Saviour.

Do you have the flame of the Holy Spirit burning in you? If not, seek it, for time is getting short and judgment is not far away.

Give your life to Christ, worship the unseen and you will be blessed.
