• LOOKING BACK ON Battle FOR BRITAIN.. IT INVOLVES BREAKING OF NEW GROUNDS.
    Those who can remember, we all know Battlefield Of Britain ain't for the weak or those who faint but its victory is in the hands of those who keep digging.
    Yes leaving the distraction behind.

    Genesis 26:11–31 — #2024.
    Great message to run with through Isaacs Journey in relation to Britain right now.

    Isaac's journey shows a clear progression. He dug a well, and it was disputed — he named it Esek, meaning contention. He dug another, and it was disputed again — he named it Sitnah, meaning opposition. He did not stop or turn back; he moved on and dug a third well, and this time no one contended over it — he named it Rehoboth, the room God provided. There, at Beersheba, God established him, and even those who had opposed him came and recognised that the LORD was with him.

    When Isaac first reopened the wells his father Abraham had dug, and no one contended over them. It was only when he broke new ground — Esek, then Sitnah — that opposition rose against him. Britain has restored what former generations laid down in the faith, yet in pressing forward into new ground for Christ in this generation, the nation has met contention and now stands in Sitnah. One of the Sitnahs' instruments is law. Isaac did not return to the old wells or retreat; he kept digging new ground until he reached Rehoboth.

    Britain the race is not for the Swift but for them who are able to keep going without fainting.
    So, do not stop digging because of Sitnah. Keep digging, keep praying, keep contending for the faith, keep standing for righteousness, and keep proclaiming Christ — until there is a Rehoboth, a place where God makes room to establish His purposes in this nation; until God is recognised in the land and peace reigns.

    It is written about you.. Are you part of the tribe..
    Hebrews 10:7 And Psalms 40;7-8 reads
    Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’ ”
    Are his laws written in your hearts?

    Keep This Word In Mind.
    ‭Galatians 6:9 NIV‬
    Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

  • TOPIC: WHERE IS YOUR ETERNAL DESTINATION?

    Bible Text: “For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.” — Hebrews 13:14

    There is something very peculiar about this world that calls for a sober mood of reflection before God, and should leave every mortal conscience awakened unto God, to live before Him in utmost awe and reverence:

    Every day, a child must lose a mother or father. Every day, a wife must lose a husband, every day, a husband must lose a wife, every day, a parent must lose a child. A sister must lose a brother, and a brother must lose a sister. A relation must lose a relation. A family must lose a family member. A friend must lose a friend. Colleagues must lose a colleague in an organization, and so on and so forth.

    And this happens daily, all over the world and throughout the human race, yet many see it simply as a way of life or say, “Life happens.”

    Yet every day, a child is born into the world, and every day, a human being leaves this world. This is a mystery. And someone will still say there is no God?

    The mystery behind it is incomprehensible to man.

    This tells us that the world is temporal. People live and leave. They come and go.

    But God is man's final Destination.

    The question is: Where?

    Heaven or Hell—eternity has a destination.

    Make the wise choice. Make God your Eternal Destination, and let your final home be with Him in Heaven.

    God's Loving Heart.

  • Dear Father,

    I listened to Apostle Iren's message where he responded to the question, "Would people who have never heard of You be condemned to hell?" The Scripture says, "For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves." The idea is that there is an instinctive moral law, that at a certain age, a person is no longer without the knowledge of good and evil, and judgment will be based on the choices they made in relation to the level of knowledge made available to them.

    This has me wondering: if the level of exposure to knowledge and its application can be a basis for judgment, what about situations where we stumble and fall despite the unlimited body of knowledge made available to us, simply because we have refused to pay the price for its acquisition and application? We may fail to take cognizance of the fact that transgressions caused by deliberate ignorance may not go unpunished.

    In reserving depth for ministers of the gospel, we have refused to take intentional steps toward ours. Concerned about those who do not yet know You, yet for us, the question remains: what have we done with our knowledge of You? If knowledge can be a basis for judgment, would deliberate ignorance be overlooked?

    The ignorance of a few can be overcome by the heightened knowledge of the majority. Perhaps ignorance persists because those entrusted with the knowledge of You have not faithfully lived it or shared it. The question lingers: what have I done with my knowledge of You?

    “𝘞𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥;
    𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘶𝘴—𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥.”

    We know what it means to represent someone. A diplomat speaks for a nation, a spokesperson speaks for an organization, and a child bears their family’s relation. Wherever they go, they carry the weight of who sent them. Whether you’re a new believer finding your voice or a seasoned saint comfortable in silence, the question is not whether we represent someone but whether we are faithfully representing our God.

    Paul declares in 🕮 𝟐 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟐𝟎, “𝘕𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘤𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘺 𝘶𝘴...” An ambassador does not speak on his own authority or promote his own agenda. He represents the ruler who sent him. Paul reminds us that every believer has been entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation, carrying Heaven's message into a broken world with both truth and grace.

    An ambassador may live abroad but never forgets their true citizenship. His conduct, his words, and even his character reflect the nation he represents. So it is with God’s people. Though we walk this world, “𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯” (𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟑:𝟐𝟎). We are strangers here, representing an eternal King.

    Representing Christ requires more than wearing the name “𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘯.” Scripture calls us to “𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥” (𝐄𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟒:𝟏), to “shine as lights in the world” (𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟐:𝟏𝟓), and to let our speech be “𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦” (𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟒:𝟔). Our lives should make the Gospel believable before our lips proclaim it. The message we preach should be seen before it is heard.

    A faithful ambassador does not rewrite the King's message to please the crowd. Don't lower Heaven's message just to raise the world's applause. Jesus Himself declared, “𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘯...” (𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝟓:𝟏𝟔). We are not called to make the Gospel popular—we are called to make it known. Faithfulness is our responsibility; the response belongs to God.

    Before Christ entrusted us with His message, He reconciled us to God through His own sacrifice. “𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧” (𝟐 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟏𝟗). At the cross, Jesus bore our sin and removed the barrier between holy God and guilty sinners. The risen Saviour now sends those He has reconciled to proclaim reconciliation to others. We speak for the King because the King first rescued us.

    When people observe your life this week, what picture of Christ will they see? Would your words, priorities, and attitudes encourage someone to trust the Saviour you profess? You don't need Christ merely to give you a title—you need Him because He is the King whose life you are called to represent. Someone is reading your life before they ever read their Bible. Make sure they see our King.

    𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: Heavenly Father, thank You for entrusting us as ambassadors of Christ. Forgive us for the times our lives have failed to reflect our King. Empower us to speak boldly, live faithfully, and represent Heaven with integrity. May our words and lives point others to reconciliation in Christ. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

    Remember, a dose of God’s Word a day will keep you going all day!

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.
    MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    THURSDAY JULY 23, 2026.
    "DON'T LOSE YOUR COMPASSIONATE EDGE (2)"

    '…When He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them…’ Matthew 9:36 NKJV

    CHRIST’S CONCERN for a hurting world revealed itself in two ways: condemnation towards those who took advantage of others and compassion towards those who couldn’t help themselves. One time He took a whip and threw the money changers out of the temple; another time He healed the sick and fed the hungry. There’s a lesson here: you can become complacent and say, ‘I know there’s trouble in the world. It’s regrettable. But as long as it doesn’t touch me personally, I’d prefer not to think about it. Cheating goes on every day in business and politics. That’s just the way things are.’ Like the priest and the Levite in the story of the Good Samaritan, you ‘pass by on the other side’ (Luke 10:30-36). The sad fact is that even churches that faithfully preach the Word and win souls (two all-important missions) fail in this area. Why? Because they’re afraid of being identified with those who promote a ‘social gospel’. But the opposite should concern us! ‘If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity…how can the love of God be in him?…Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth’ (1John 3:17-18 NIV). What moves you? Success in business? Building a great family? Excelling in ministry? Those are worthy goals, but if you want to know what moved Christ, read this: ‘When He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion.’ So don’t lose your compassionate edge.

    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of" (GENESIS 22:2).*_
    *Frederick Brotherton Meyer, a Baptist pastor and evangelist in England, contemporary and friend of D. L. Moody, observed that "Consecration is only possible when we give up our will about EVERYTHING." This may explain why most professing Christians shy away from true consecration. For some others, consecration should be moderated in such a manner as not to exceed the boundary set by "common sense".*
    *Abraham, as seen in today's text, demonstrated a high level of consecration. To a normal person, God's command to him to offer his son, Isaac, as a sacrifice to him was an invitation to eternal sorrow. But Abraham's love for and devotion to God were more than skin deep. It was such a commitment that was not hinged on any material benefit. The Lord's demand was explicit: "Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest... and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of..." Isaac was an only son whose name meant _laughter,_ a child of promise and therefore very beloved to his parents. Yet Abraham was willing to sacrifice him to God.*
    *By that act, Abraham's obedience and faith were only being put to the test. He was willing to part with his highest love and hope on earth... to even go on a three-day journey to obey God's extraordinary command. He was moved neither by Isaac's affecting remark nor the thought of how others would react to him. Satisfied that Abraham's devotion to Him was no half measure, God intervened and prevented him from sacrificing Isaac. A lamb was divinely provided in his stead, a pointer to the Lord Jesus Christ, the "Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world".*
    *As you reflect on all these, consider how you will fare in God's test of obedience and faith. If the Lord today requires your _Isaac_ - whatever constitutes your greatest joy on earth - will you be willing to part with it for God's sake? How much do you love God? Do social and material pursuits stand between you and God? Are you willing to place your prestige on the altar for the Lord? The test is ongoing. Will you pass it?*
    *THE DIVIDEND OF DILIGENCE* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽🏽‍🏽🏽
    ```TEXT:PROVERBS 10:1-5```

    ``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich" (PROVERBS 10:4).*_
    *George Washington Carver wisely said, "There is no shortcut to achievement. Life requires thorough preparation, veneer isn't worth anything." Similarly, Thomas Edison reminds us, "Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration."*
    *Proverbs 10:4 tells us, "He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich." This powerful verse reminds us that diligence in our work leads to rewards, while laziness brings failure. As youths, we often face the temptation to seek shortcuts or to delay our efforts, but the Bible teaches us that true success comes from being faithful and diligent in whatever we do.*
    *Diligence means consistently putting in effort, being disciplined, and staying focused even when the results are not immediate. This teaches us that hard work during the right seasons brings success, while neglecting opportunities leads to regret. Let us be diligent in our studies and daily tasks.     A story was told of a girl called Queen. Queen worked very hard and brought many awards to her family. She was already on Government Scholarship in high school. There, she was selected to represent her state in the National Mathematics Competition. Queen won the competition to the admiration of everyone, including her fellow competitors. The State Government raised a podium and set Queen on it, for everybody present to file past to salute the queen.
    God has promised to bless and honour His children who are obedient to Him. How can it be that the One we are commanded to respect and honour now promises to honour us - His creatures? There is nothing God cannot do for a child whose life pleases Him. That was His promise to Israel and to anyone that does His will. That honour manifested in God making Israel fruitful, established and secured.
    *You must do everything to gain the honour, respect, blessing, favour, goodness and mercy of God. Joseph was one child that was respected and honoured. God even caused the king, all Egyptians, the surrounding nations, his father and his brothers to respect and honour him. Your godly and righteous conduct at home, school and in the church will bring divine honour, promotion and respect to you.*
    *TEST OF PERFECT LOVE FOR GOD*
    *TEXT:* GENESIS 22:1-11.
    1And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
    2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
    3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
    4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
    5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
    6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
    7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
    8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
    9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
    10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
    11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
    *Timeless Truth:*_"And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment"_ (Mark 12:30).
    *INTRODUCTION*
    God demands perfect love from the saints just as He had demonstrated His perfect love for man. He requested Abraham to *"walk before me and be thou perfect"* (Genesis 17:1). Jesus also emphasised that the first commandment, broadly speaking, has to do with perfect love for God (Mark 12:30). It is easier for man to profess love for someone without actually, having or demonstrating that love. Great blessings of God, especially those that are earned and not just unmerited, are based on our love for God. True love for God, beyond mere mouth profession, must be tested by God to ascertain its genuineness. It is necessary for man so that man will see himself the way God sees him and not his mere mouth profession. Abraham, did not just profess love for God, He actually, manifested it and great generational blessings followed.
    *1. Costly Test: Futuristic Significance*
    a. Abraham had passed through many things that demanded great sacrifices for God. It started with God asking him to leave his country to a strange land that he had never been to. At a point, he had to also separate from his nephew, Lot that he loved so much. The climax of the sacrifice that God expected from him was the sacrifice of his only promised son. It was a test of his professed perfect love for God. The greater the divine blessings coming the way of anyone, the more severe and demanding is the test of love for God that must be passed. Don't be worried about the trials of faith and divine demands, focus on the blessings, both temporal and eternal, that await you.
    b. *"And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt (or test) Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am"*. Abraham was always available to God without giving any excuse at any time. To him, God is first and every other engagement is secondary. Can you think of what God asked Abraham to do? First, Abraham understood that it was God speaking and not a stranger. Believers should be well groomed in the Bible and in hearing from God that they can discern the voice of God from other voices. *"And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah"*. The divine emphasis was to help Abraham to see the gravity of the sacrifice so that he would be able to make an informed and not just sentimental or emotional decision. *"And offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of"*. Abraham, from his first encounter with God knew that if God would tell him to go anywhere, he would not tell him the exact place as at the first. When he was called to leave his country, he was just told to take off to a land he would show him. God repeated this same mode here. Always watch for the way God uses to lead you. It may not be the same way He leads others. Did Abraham know that it was a test? The context does not show that. This is how man's test is different from that of God. In most cases, when a divine test comes unannounced, the tested will not know that it is a test from God. However, it is a test of his love for God and faith in God.
    *Question*
    How is this a test of his faith and a test of his love for God?
    *2. Courageous Triumph: Faith Sacrifice*
    a. Human sacrifice was condemned by God and that was one of the reasons the land of Canaan was overthrown. Interestingly, Abraham counted himself too small to question God since he had no doubt that it was from God. Unquestioning and immediate obedience to God is one of the evidences of our love and faith in God. Willingness to sacrifice your most loved "Isaac" without looking back is true spirituality in action. *"Abraham rose up early in the morning..."* Obviously, he did not tell the wife and all those who could have discouraged him. He had known in his walk with God that God would never do evil but bless. He practiced the consecration of the New Testament saints where in Luke 14:26 Jesus said it is only those who can sacrifice all their relationships for Christ that can be His disciples. *"On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off"*. Three days was enough for Abraham to have a rethink, but his mind was fixed. Those who love God have a fixed mind which cannot be swayed by any relation or public opinion. Abraham also did not allow his young men to go far with him because they could also use emotions to discourage him from doing the will of God. *"And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you"*. The consecrated are not seeking human sympathy. Their song is "I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back".
    b. Abraham decided to go alone with Isaac to the place of sacrifice. Isaac was about 19+ years of age at this time. So, he could carry the wood and other things. He was intelligent enough to ask his father questions. *"And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?"*. This question could force tears and emotions from Abraham, but Abraham was determined to obey God at all cost. Isaac himself had strong faith and confidence in his father and of course in his God, so he did not rebel. He behaved like Jesus who *"....he is brought as a Lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth"* (Isaiah 53:7).
    b. Abraham was a man of faith truly. The New Testament says that he believed God will resurrect Isaac because the promise of God for him was based on Isaac being alive (Hebrews 11: 19). Our consecration to God is a function of our faith in God. When there is strong faith in God as a faithful Rewarder now in time and eternity; when there is faith in the pronounced promises and promised eternity, consecration becomes very easy. *"And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering"*. The father exercised perfect love and faith in God while the son likewise demonstrated perfect voluntary obedience.
    *"And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son"*.
    *Question*
    Do you have the faith of Abraham and Isaac?
    *3. Compensation for the Trustworthy: Faithful Saviour*
    Abraham was totally ignorant of the purpose of the test that it was beyond him and that God wanted to use it for a generational lesson. Apart from the test of his faith and love for Him, it was meant to present a figure of the coming Son of God who voluntarily submitted Himself to sacrifice for the salvation of the whole world. It was to present the gospel in the Old Testament. He really wanted to sacrifice his son before *"the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I"*. What did Abraham lose by his uncommon consecration? Nothing. What did he gain? Revelation of the gospel and confirmation of generational blessings. No sacrifice should be too big for a true child of God. It is always a blessing in disguise. There are always reciprocal blessings when you love God purely and perfectly above all else. God will always lavish the blessings of heaven on you in return.
    *Question*
    Are you ready to fully love God perfectly and always be willing to consecrate anything God demands without questioning?
    *Prayer Points*
    1.Father circumcise my heart to love You perfectly .
    2.Give me grace to be willing that nothing will be too much to consecrate to You .
    3.Give me the faith of Abraham that always looks beyond the present but focuses on Your promises .
    4.Father, Take all Your children deeper in the love of Jesus.
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou Art Dialog God. ⏤ Psalm 90:1-2
    God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ⏤ Martin Luther
    Lord, You have been our dwelling place through all generations. From everlasting to everlasting, You are God. We want to make You the home of our hearts. We aren’t truly at home in this world because it isn’t secure. Everything here passes away. The mountains may crumble, and the hills may disappear. Our souls are immortal and can’t find a lasting home on this earth—no place where they will be sure of undisturbed rest forever. Only You are enduring and eternal, and only in You can our souls find a home, a refuge of love that will last forever. Help us to make our home in You.
    We thank You for our earthly home. We thank You for the love that binds us together, for the refuge we find here from the world’s hostilities. Here we can trust each other and be sure of each other’s love. Deepen our home affections. Draw us closer together as a family. Make our home life sweeter. Help us to be more supportive of each other. Teach us patience as we live together. Help us see the best in each other and give the best of our love to one another.
    May our home life today be tender and affectionate. Fill us with Your divine love so that our hearts and lips will overflow and that everything lovely will grow within us. You know our special needs, and we ask for personal blessings. Forgive us all our sins. Comfort us in our sorrows.
    Give us a blessing now as we go out into the world. May we live in such a way that we are constantly receiving from Jesus and then giving out the good things of divine love. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
    Good morning, brethren. 1. Morning devotion for today. 😀🌹🎀🎁💝🌺 MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY THURSDAY JULY 23, 2026. "DON'T LOSE YOUR COMPASSIONATE EDGE (2)" '…When He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them…’ Matthew 9:36 NKJV CHRIST’S CONCERN for a hurting world revealed itself in two ways: condemnation towards those who took advantage of others and compassion towards those who couldn’t help themselves. One time He took a whip and threw the money changers out of the temple; another time He healed the sick and fed the hungry. There’s a lesson here: you can become complacent and say, ‘I know there’s trouble in the world. It’s regrettable. But as long as it doesn’t touch me personally, I’d prefer not to think about it. Cheating goes on every day in business and politics. That’s just the way things are.’ Like the priest and the Levite in the story of the Good Samaritan, you ‘pass by on the other side’ (Luke 10:30-36). The sad fact is that even churches that faithfully preach the Word and win souls (two all-important missions) fail in this area. Why? Because they’re afraid of being identified with those who promote a ‘social gospel’. But the opposite should concern us! ‘If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity…how can the love of God be in him?…Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth’ (1John 3:17-18 NIV). What moves you? Success in business? Building a great family? Excelling in ministry? Those are worthy goals, but if you want to know what moved Christ, read this: ‘When He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion.’ So don’t lose your compassionate edge. L. Moody, observed that "Consecration is only possible when we give up our will about EVERYTHING." This may explain why most professing Christians shy away from true consecration. For some others, consecration should be moderated in such a manner as not to exceed the boundary set by "common sense".* *Abraham, as seen in today's text, demonstrated a high level of consecration. To a normal person, God's command to him to offer his son, Isaac, as a sacrifice to him was an invitation to eternal sorrow. But Abraham's love for and devotion to God were more than skin deep. It was such a commitment that was not hinged on any material benefit. The Lord's demand was explicit: "Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest... and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of..." Isaac was an only son whose name meant _laughter,_ a child of promise and therefore very beloved to his parents. Yet Abraham was willing to sacrifice him to God.* *By that act, Abraham's obedience and faith were only being put to the test. He was willing to part with his highest love and hope on earth... to even go on a three-day journey to obey God's extraordinary command. He was moved neither by Isaac's affecting remark nor the thought of how others would react to him. Satisfied that Abraham's devotion to Him was no half measure, God intervened and prevented him from sacrificing Isaac. A lamb was divinely provided in his stead, a pointer to the Lord Jesus Christ, the "Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world".* *As you reflect on all these, consider how you will fare in God's test of obedience and faith. If the Lord today requires your _Isaac_ - whatever constitutes your greatest joy on earth - will you be willing to part with it for God's sake? How much do you love God? Do social and material pursuits stand between you and God? Are you willing to place your prestige on the altar for the Lord? The test is ongoing. Isaac was about 19+ years of age at this time. So, he could carry the wood and other things. He was intelligent enough to ask his father questions. *"And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?"*. This question could force tears and emotions from Abraham, but Abraham was determined to obey God at all cost. Isaac himself had strong faith and confidence in his father and of course in his God, so he did not rebel. He behaved like Jesus who *"....he is brought as a Lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth"* (Isaiah 53:7). b. Abraham was a man of faith truly. The New Testament says that he believed God will resurrect Isaac because the promise of God for him was based on Isaac being alive (Hebrews 11: 19). Our consecration to God is a function of our faith in God. When there is strong faith in God as a faithful Rewarder now in time and eternity; when there is faith in the pronounced promises and promised eternity, consecration becomes very easy. *"And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering"*. The father exercised perfect love and faith in God while the son likewise demonstrated perfect voluntary obedience. *"And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son"*. *Question* Do you have the faith of Abraham and Isaac? *3. Compensation for the Trustworthy: Faithful Saviour* Abraham was totally ignorant of the purpose of the test that it was beyond him and that God wanted to use it for a generational lesson. Apart from the test of his faith and love for Him, it was meant to present a figure of the coming Son of God who voluntarily submitted Himself to sacrifice for the salvation of the whole world. It was to present the gospel in the Old Testament. He really wanted to sacrifice his son before *"the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I"*. What did Abraham lose by his uncommon consecration? Nothing. What did he gain? Revelation of the gospel and confirmation of generational blessings. No sacrifice should be too big for a true child of God. It is always a blessing in disguise. There are always reciprocal blessings when you love God purely and perfectly above all else. God will always lavish the blessings of heaven on you in return. *Question* Are you ready to fully love God perfectly and always be willing to consecrate anything God demands without questioning? *Prayer Points* 1.Father circumcise my heart to love You perfectly 🙏. 2.Give me grace to be willing that nothing will be too much to consecrate to You 🙏. 3.Give me the faith of Abraham that always looks beyond the present but focuses on Your promises 🙏. 4.Father, Take all Your children deeper in the love of Jesus🙏. *HYMN:* Nothing Between *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* EXODUS 23-25. 2. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou [art] God. ⏤ Psalm 90:1-2 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ⏤ Martin Luther Lord, You have been our dwelling place through all generations. From everlasting to everlasting, You are God. We want to make You the home of our hearts. We aren’t truly at home in this world because it isn’t secure. Everything here passes away. The mountains may crumble, and the hills may disappear. Our souls are immortal and can’t find a lasting home on this earth—no place where they will be sure of undisturbed rest forever. Only You are enduring and eternal, and only in You can our souls find a home, a refuge of love that will last forever. Help us to make our home in You. We thank You for our earthly home. We thank You for the love that binds us together, for the refuge we find here from the world’s hostilities. Here we can trust each other and be sure of each other’s love. Deepen our home affections. Draw us closer together as a family. Make our home life sweeter. Help us to be more supportive of each other. Teach us patience as we live together. Help us see the best in each other and give the best of our love to one another. May our home life today be tender and affectionate. Fill us with Your divine love so that our hearts and lips will overflow and that everything lovely will grow within us. You know our special needs, and we ask for personal blessings. Forgive us all our sins. Comfort us in our sorrows. Give us a blessing now as we go out into the world. May we live in such a way that we are constantly receiving from Jesus and then giving out the good things of divine love. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/18/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion.
  • Maranatha.
    Pure in Heart and Life.
    Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8.
    Into the city of God there will enter nothing that defiles. All who are to be dwellers there will here have become pure in heart. In one who is learning of Jesus, there will be manifest a growing distaste for careless manners, unseemly language, and coarse thought. When Christ abides in the heart, there will be purity and refinement of thought and manner.
    But the words of Jesus ... have a deeper meaning—not merely pure in the sense in which the world understands purity, free from that which is sensual, pure from lust, but true in the hidden purposes and motives of the soul, free from pride and self-seeking, humble, unselfish, childlike.
    Only like can appreciate like. Unless you accept in your own life the principle of self-sacrificing love, which is the principle of His character, you cannot know God....
    When Christ shall come in His glory, the wicked cannot endure to behold Him. The light of His presence, which is life to those who love Him, is death to the ungodly.... When He shall appear, they will pray to be hidden from the face of Him who died to redeem them.
    But to hearts that have become purified through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, all is changed. These can know God. Moses was hid in the cleft of the rock when the glory of the Lord was revealed to him; and it is when we are hid in Christ that we behold the love of God....
    By faith we behold Him here and now. In our daily experience we discern His goodness and compassion in the manifestation of His providence. We recognize Him in the character of His Son.... The pure in heart see God in a new and endearing relation, as their Redeemer; and while they discern the purity and loveliness of His character, they long to reflect His image. They see Him as a Father longing to embrace a repenting son, and their hearts are filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory....
    The pure in heart live as in the visible presence of God during the time He apportions them in this world. And they will also see Him face to face in the future, immortal state, as did Adam when he walked and talked with God in Eden.41Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, 24-27.
    **## My Today's Meditation**
    Please do not take this personally.
    **Reflection Points:**
    "If my pride stop me not to learn, accept the truth, what will I gain?"
    - What is Christianity without love?
    - Must you show me love only when I am your kind, your relation?
    When I make mistake, will you correct me out of love or anger?
    - Can you forgive me when I wrong you?
    - Does the business I do, life I live, bless God and man or the opposite?
    Why can't you tell him the truth than going behind to destroy his image?
    - Will it bring curse upon my generation?
    - Am I forgetting I will die one day?
    - What will be my legacy, what people will love to copy from my once lived life?
    - What do you gain praying for the downfall of others, wishing failure to the common man?
    - What will you gain using your position, money, properties to oppress and mislead others?
    - Do you love hurting others?
    - Would you like that to happen to you?
    - Can you help me without expecting something in return?
    - Must I have enough before I share?
    - Must I be perfect before I learn to change?
    - What if I was the one in need, how would I love to be treated?
    - How many times do you pray for others and show love, mercy, forgiveness, and kindness like God did to you?
    - Am I really qualified to judge one another?
    - Do you know all you’re fighting for is vanity and naked you shall go back?
    **Key Scriptures:**
    **Matthew 7:12** - *"So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them."*
    **1 Corinthians 13:1-2** - *"If I have not love, I am nothing."*
    #NOUVELLE_VIE
    Bonjour bien-aimés
    Notre méditation d’aujourd’hui porte sur : LA RESURRECTION DE JÉSUS DEBUT D’UNE NOUVELLE VIE.
    La période comprise entre Moïse et Jésus est appelée la période de la Loi. Durant cette période, les Israélites étaient jugés selon leur obéissance aux commandements de Dieu : « Fais ceci » ou « Ne fais pas cela ». Les bénédictions et les malédictions dépendaient de leur fidélité à observer la loi. C'est pourquoi ils s'efforçaient de garder les commandements afin de rétablir leur relation avec Dieu. Pourtant, pas un seul homme n'a pu satisfaire Dieu par l'observance de la loi.
    « Or, nous savons que tout ce que dit la loi, elle le dit à ceux qui sont sous la loi, afin que toute bouche soit fermée, et que tout le monde soit reconnu coupable devant Dieu. Car nul ne sera justifié devant lui par les œuvres de la loi, puisque c'est par la loi que vient la connaissance du péché. » Romains 3:19-20
    Cette situation a complètement changé avec la venue de Jésus-Christ. Jésus a parfaitement accompli toute la loi. Ainsi, lorsque nous appartenons à Jésus par la foi, Sa justice devient notre justice. C'est comme si nous avions nous-mêmes parfaitement observé toute la loi.
    Par nos propres efforts, nous ne pouvons obéir qu'à quelques commandements, et encore de manière imparfaite. Mais lorsque nous sommes unis à Christ par la foi, tout ce que Jésus a accompli nous est imputé. Quelle merveilleuse bonne nouvelle!
    « Car Christ est la fin de la loi, pour la justification de tous ceux qui croient. » Romains 10:4. Aujourd'hui encore, beaucoup de personnes disent : « Je dois vivre honnêtement », « Je dois faire le bien », « Je dois mieux obéir à Dieu ». Mais lorsqu'elles échouent, elles tombent dans le découragement, la culpabilité et la condamnation. Elles s'efforcent de mener une vie morale et droite, mais finissent souvent épuisées, sans paix ni joie.
    Or, par la résurrection de Jésus-Christ, Dieu nous a fait passer de la loi du péché et de la mort à la loi de l'Esprit de vie. Désormais, nous ne vivons plus sous la condamnation de la loi, mais sous la direction du Saint-Esprit. C'est Lui qui nous conduit et nous donne la capacité d'accomplir la volonté de Dieu.
    « Il n'y a donc maintenant aucune condamnation pour ceux qui sont en Jésus-Christ, qui marchent non selon la chair, mais selon l'Esprit. En effet, la loi de l'Esprit de vie en Jésus-Christ m'a affranchi de la loi du péché et de la mort. Car chose impossible à la loi, parce que la chair la rendait sans force, Dieu a condamné le péché dans la chair, en envoyant, à cause du péché, son propre Fils dans une chair semblable à celle du péché, afin que la justice prescrite par la loi soit accomplie en nous, qui marchons, non selon la chair, mais selon l'Esprit. » Romains 8:1-4
    La résurrection de Jésus marque donc le début d'une nouvelle vie. Nous ne cherchons plus à être justifiés par nos œuvres, mais nous recevons gratuitement la justice de Christ par la foi. Libérés de la condamnation de la loi, nous marchons désormais sous la conduite du Saint-Esprit, qui accomplit en nous ce que la loi était incapable de produire.
  • Matthew 13:31-35
    Jesus has given us a parable describing the spread of the gospel and now He gives us a parable regarding the Kingdom of Heaven. So he uses two different parables to teach the same lesson. He says that the kingdom of heaven is like the mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds.
    First, we have to clear this up. There are some rather ignorant individuals who use this verse to prove to themselves that the Bible is not inerrant because the smallest seed belongs to an orchid, not a mustard seed. They then puff themselves up to a level of importance they bldon't actually possess. See? They say, Jesus incorrectly named the wrong seed as the smallest so they conclude the Bible can't be 100% true. Understand that there wasn't a person present during this discourse who had even seen this orchid which by the way was not indigenous to that geographic area.
    Jesus told them, of all the seeds you are familiar with, the kingdom of God is most like the mustard seed, which though small, is capable of growing into a massive tree and becoming a home for many birds of the air.
    This small thing will grow to contain the population of the world. That's part of the message. Next, Jesus uses the concept of leaven in relation to the kingdom. He says a small measure of leaven in a large lump of dough grows to affect the entire loaf. The small measure of truth in a message can expand to be Included in the totality of the dough.
    The gospel is of such a nature that it will expand to be a home for all people's. And it will grow to include all of those who want to make their home with Him. Those who refuse to understand scripture will continue to distort His word in these passages and elsewhere.
    One lesson to take from this is that the default setting of God's kingdom is one of growth. It is meant to expand worldwide, and the influence of the gospel is meant to spread throughout the other areas of their lives. This is one area where leaven is used in a positive sense.
    For passover, the leaven represents sin and must be removed thoroughly from the house before the meal begins. And while it doesn't represent sin here, the concept of a tiny portion affecting a large area or volume of material over time is clearly present.
    And Matthew is sure to Include the old testament prophecy to again back up his assertion that Jesus is the Messiah that the Jews have been waiting for. That eschatological lesson that everyone interprets wrong has been mentioned and is coming again. Stay tuned.
    [31] He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a person took and sowed in his field; [32] and this is smaller than all the other seeds, but when it is fully grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the sky come and nest in its branches.” [33] He spoke another parable to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three sata of flour until it was all leavened.” [34] All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak anything to them without a parable. [35] This was so that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled: “I will open My mouth in parables; I will proclaim things hidden since the foundation of the world.”
