• How to Persevere in Prayer

How do you persevere in prayer? You have to make an effort, because it is not easy. It is easy to start; the difficult part is finishing, because of the opposition that arises along the way.

The enemy will always oppose men and women of prayer. This opposition can happen in many ways: through pain in the body, through situations around us, and even through people close to us. People will be attacked, you will be saddened, troubled, distressed, humiliated, and persecuted.

So, do not forget: many of these struggles are part of the journey of a life of prayer. And this should serve as encouragement to warriors. You must keep going!

    But how do you persevere?

Do what Paul taught: “Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.” Many people want to pray while living according to the flesh, and because of this, the journey seems impossible. But when we are in the Spirit, when we walk and live in the Spirit, we receive life and have life to give.

We must make an effort and not be ignorant of Satan’s schemes. Yet, hallelujah, we must remain patient in tribulations. This is how we will continue.

If you do not renounce your own life and your own will, and if you do not enter this war determined to fight the good fight, you will give up. The burden will become too great, because sin brings bondage and weakness.

Therefore, it is necessary to renounce sin.

The Word says: “Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.” And so you will continue fighting, abstaining from everything that weakens your walk and making every effort to remain steadfast.

Understand this: the struggles, adversities, and opposition you encounter are part of the journey of those who are true warriors.

But you have the armor of God in your hands!

So I challenge you: move forward against them! Glory to God! Go into battle as David went against Goliath.

Do not allow yourself to be intimidated by the Goliaths of life, nor by the Sauls who may cross your path.

You need to have the same attitude as Caleb when he returned from spying out the land together with Joshua and the other men. Caleb said, in other words: “They will be our bread. Let us only be strong, and the Lord will deliver them into our hands.”

    Hallelujah!

This is the secret to perseverance.

If I do not tell you the truth, you may become frustrated. The battles will come because of your prayer life. The counterattacks will come, and they may be very intense, because the devil does not want anyone to persevere in prayer.

That is why you find many people who started but did not finish.

Jesus taught that when someone goes into battle, they must first count the cost, to determine whether they have what it takes to see it through to the end.

In the same way, when someone is going to build a house, they must calculate the cost to determine whether they will be able to finish it. Otherwise, they will begin building and will not be able to finish. And everyone who passes by will begin to mock them, saying:

“This man began to build, but he was not able to finish.”

The world is full of people who began building their houses but did not finish. Many ended up becoming a source of shame and disgrace.

    No!

You must be a courageous man! You must be a giant in faith, able to face the giants of this world and overcome the Sauls who arise along the way.

Do not be afraid. Do not give up. Do not abandon prayer.

Keep fighting. Keep praying. Keep persevering.

Because the one who perseveres to the end will see the hand of God.

  • Going to church does not automatically make you spiritually mature.

    Yes, you heard me.

You can attend church every Sunday and still be far from God.

You can sit in the front row, carry your Bible, sing every worship song, shout “Amen!” to every prayer, and still have a heart that has not truly surrendered to God.

Church attendance is good. But church attendance alone is not spiritual maturity.

Imagine someone who goes to the gym every single day.

    They wear gym clothes.
They take pictures in the gym.
They know the names of all the machines.
They even tell people, “I am always at the gym.”

    But they never exercise.

    Will their body change? No.

They were physically present, but they were not participating.

That is how some people are spiritually.

They are always in church… But they don’t pray.

They hear the Word… But they don’t obey it.

They sing about forgiveness… But they refuse to forgive.

They preach about love… But they hate people.

They shout about holiness… But secretly live a completely different life.

They know Bible verses… But they don’t know the God behind the verses.

And this is where we need to be brutally honest with ourselves.

You can be a church member and still be spiritually immature.

You can know the language of Christianity without carrying the character of Christ.

You can know when to say “Praise the Lord” while your heart is full of pride, bitterness, lust, jealousy, unforgiveness and selfishness.

And sometimes, the most dangerous person is not the person who knows nothing about God… It is the person who knows the Word, hears the Word, teaches the Word, but refuses to live the Word.

Because knowledge without obedience can become self-deception.

Spiritual maturity is not measured by how many years you have been going to church. It is seen in how you behave when nobody is watching.

Can you control yourself when temptation comes?

Can you forgive when you have been deeply hurt?

Can you walk away from sin even when nobody would ever know?

Can you say “no” to something you desperately want because you know God is saying no?

Can you love people who cannot do anything for you?

Can you admit when you are wrong?

    Can you humble yourself?

Can you obey God even when obedience is painful?

That is where spiritual maturity begins.

Because Christianity is not just about being found in church. It is about allowing Christ to be found in you.

And maybe this is the question we need to stop asking: “Did I go to church today?”

And start asking: “Did I become more like Christ today?”

Because one day, God will not be impressed by the number of Sundays you occupied a church seat.

He will look at the life you lived after you left that seat.

So please… Don’t just be a regular churchgoer. Be a growing Christian.

Don’t just hear the Word. Live it.

Don’t just carry the Bible. Let the Bible change you.

Because the greatest evidence that you have been with God is not how loudly you worship in public… It is how differently you live when nobody is watching.

I am Anthony Chukwuebuka - THE BOO OF THE BOOLESS; Yes, you can spend your whole life sitting in God’s house and still never allow God to build His house inside your heart.

    Think about that.

  • The father of Will Smith asked him whether he could build a wall when he was a child . He said he couldn't. The father then got him to start building one. Everyday they laid a few bricks; and soon they had a wall . Many people think of success as a quantum leap but it is not . Think of your success like a house you are building . You put one brick on top of the other until you get a house . Be more interested in WHO YOU ARE BECOMING rather than what to do.Your success will be more lasting that way. If you focus on what to do it will have a temporary effect. When you BECOME a better person your results will reflect the new person you have become. If you improve your skills 1 percent every day in any area of your life, you will be 365 percent better in that area a year by this time. This means everyday you must wake up with the intention of BECOMING better than yesterday. The day will come when you will then see the compounded effect of what you have been bdoing. The Bible says the path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter unto a perfect day (Proverbs 4:18). This means it's all about getting better and better day by day. Have a lovely day

  • The Advent Truth
Isaac Newton did NOT simply predict, “The world will end in 2060.” That headline leaves out the most interesting part of the story.

Newton was a serious student of Daniel and Revelation, and he recognized something many Christians today reject: the 1,260 prophetic days represent 1,260 literal years.

The Bible gives this same prophetic period three different ways:

Daniel 7:25 — “a time and times and the dividing of time”
    Revelation 12:6 — 1,260 days
    Revelation 13:5 — 42 months

Using the biblical prophetic calendar, 42 months × 30 days = 1,260 days. Three and a half prophetic years × 360 days = 1,260 days. Applying the day-for-a-year principle seen in Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6 gives us 1,260 years.

Newton understood the year principle, but he differed on the starting point. He considered A.D. 800 significant because of developments surrounding Charlemagne and papal temporal power. Add 1,260 years and you arrive at 2060. Yet Newton specifically cautioned that he was NOT setting a date for the end of the world.

Historicist Adventists understand the stronger starting point to be A.D. 538. Daniel 7 connects the 1,260 years with the period in which the little-horn power would exercise its persecuting supremacy. Following Justinian's recognition of Roman ecclesiastical supremacy and the breaking of Ostrogothic control at Rome, 538 marks the beginning of that prophetic period.

    Now do the math:

    538 + 1,260 = 1798.

And right on time, in 1798, French forces under General Berthier entered Rome, abolished papal political government, and took Pope Pius VI prisoner.

Newton had the prophetic principle right. The crucial question was where to start the clock.

Daniel and Revelation give us the 1,260. History gives us 538–1798.

Bible prophecy isn't guesswork. It is history written in advance.

  • Have you met them yet?

The Chosen isn't just another Bible film. It's the story of ordinary people — a fisherman drowning in debt, a tax collector everyone despised, a woman the town had written off — who met the Savior and were never the same again.

That's what makes it so moving. You don't watch distant saints in golden halos. You watch people like us: doubting, tired, afraid, making mistakes — and yet choosing to believe. And through their eyes, Jesus becomes wonderfully close: someone who laughs, listens, and calls each person by name.

Seasons 1–5 are streaming now on https://watch.thechosen.tv/season-1 , and Season 6 premieres on 15 November 2026 — the story leading to the cross. There's never been a better moment to start.

The Chosen — Wybrani to nie jest kolejny film biblijny. To historia zwykłych ludzi — rybaka tonącego w długach, znienawidzonego poborcy podatków, kobiety, na której wszyscy postawili krzyżyk — którzy spotkali Zbawiciela i już nigdy nie byli tacy sami.

I właśnie to porusza najbardziej. Nie oglądamy tu odległych świętych w złotych aureolach. Oglądamy ludzi takich jak my: zwątpiałych, zmęczonych, zalęknionych, popełniających błędy — a mimo to wybierających wiarę.
