Matthew 26:2 NASB
“You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be handed over for crucifixion.”

Our Lord Jesus knew exactly what will happen to Him and He did not run away from it, though difficult!
How many christians run away and complain about the difficulties because of being christian.
But He already told us difficulties will come just because we choose Him!

“Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also."

May we be faithful to our christian calling including to being persecuted just like our Lord Jesus Christ. In Your Name we pray. Amen.

Acts 12:6 NASB
"On the very night when Herod was about to bring him forward, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and guards in front of the door were watching over the prison."

What kind of person can sleep the night before his execution!
Only one who is sure about his relationship with God, who knows he's doing exactly what God wants him to do. In complete Peace and the Presence of God! Amen.

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!"

May we follow with the Apostle Peter's and Paul's example....in complete Confidence, Peace and Joy, always in His Presence! Though they were in prison and persecuted, they were free in Jesus Christ! Amen.
