- SUNDAY EVENING DEVOTION & PRAYER
Bible Reading — Psalm 4:8
«“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”»
REST IN GOD’S CARE
As this Sunday comes to an end, let us pause and thank God for carrying us through another day.
Whatever burdens, disappointments, unanswered prayers, or worries we may have, tonight we can place them in God’s hands.
We do not need to enter the new week with fear. The same God who has been with us today will go before us tomorrow.
Let us trust Him with our families, work, businesses, plans, finances, and future.
Tonight, choose peace over worry, faith over fear, and thanksgiving over anxiety.
SUNDAY EVENING PRAYER
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this Sunday and for bringing us safely to the end of another day.
Thank You for Your protection, mercy, provision, and unfailing love.
As night falls, we surrender every burden into Your hands. Forgive us where we have fallen short and give us strength to walk faithfully with You.
Give us peaceful hearts and restful sleep. Protect our families and loved ones throughout this night.
Go before us into the new week. Guide our decisions, bless the work of our hands, and help us to trust You even when we cannot see what lies ahead.
May Your presence remain with us, and may Your peace fill our homes.
We surrender this night and the coming week into Your hands.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
GOOD NIGHT & GOD BLESS YOU
May the peace of Christ guard your heart, your home, and your family throughout this night.

Thank You, Lord, for this Sunday morning.
Today, let us focus our hearts on the Cross of Jesus Christ—the greatest expression of God’s love, mercy, forgiveness, and sacrifice.
As we look to the Cross, may we learn to be merciful to our friends, forgiving toward those who hurt us, and loving even when it is difficult.
Let the Cross remind us that we have received grace, and therefore we should extend grace to others.
May Jesus and His Cross remain at the centre of our hearts, our words, and our lives.

- MAKE PRAYER A DAILY RELATIONSHIP, NOT AN EMERGENCY CALL
Prayer should not be something we remember only when we need help.
Prayer is about building a relationship with God.
When you wake up, say:
“Lord, thank You for giving me another day.”
When something good happens:
“Thank You, Lord.”
When you are worried:
“Lord, I give this situation to You.”
When you make a mistake:
“Lord, forgive me and help me do better.”
When you have nothing to ask for, simply say:
“Lord, I am here. Thank You for being with me.”
And before you sleep:
“Thank You for carrying me through today. I commit tomorrow into Your hands.”
Prayer doesn't need complicated words. Talk to God naturally, honestly and consistently.
Don't make God your emergency contact. Make Him your daily companion.

Thank You for the gift of this beautiful Sabbath morning. Thank You for life, for Your mercy, for Your protection, and for bringing us safely into a new day.
Lord Jesus, help us to slow down today and remember that You are our Creator, our Provider, and our source of strength. Fill our hearts with peace and our homes with Your presence.
Forgive us for the things we have done wrong, the words we have spoken carelessly, and the opportunities we have missed to do what is right. Give us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us.
Father, bless our families, our work, our businesses, and our plans. Give us wisdom to make good decisions, courage to face challenges, and patience to wait for Your timing.
Where there is worry, bring peace.
Where there is weakness, bring strength.
Where there is confusion, bring direction.
Where there is lack, provide.
Where there is discouragement, restore hope.
May this Sabbath remind us that our success does not come from our strength alone, but from You.

JESUS CHRIST DIDN’T COME FOR THE RIGHTEOUS ONES
Scripture: Luke 5:32
«“I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”»
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
THE STORY OF THE TAX COLLECTOR
Zacchaeus was a tax collector — a man many people disliked and considered a sinner.
But when Jesus passed by, Zacchaeus wanted to see Him.
Jesus saw him, called him, and went to his house.
That encounter with Jesus changed Zacchaeus.
He did not remain the same person he was before meeting Christ.
Luke 19:8
Zacchaeus responded by deciding to make things right and give back to those he had wronged.
Jesus did not reject him because of his past.
Jesus reached him because He saw what grace could do in his life.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
THE APPLICATION TO OUR LIVES
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT TO COME TO JESUS.
Jesus meets us in our brokenness, failures, and struggles.
NEVER ALLOW YOUR PAST TO KEEP YOU FROM CHRIST.
Your past may explain where you have been, but it does not have to determine where you are going.
A TRUE ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS BRINGS CHANGE.
Grace does not give us permission to remain the same. It gives us strength to become different.
JESUS STILL SEEKS THE LOST TODAY.
The person you think is too far gone may be the very person Jesus is calling.
LET YOUR LIFE BECOME A TESTIMONY.
When Christ changes you, let others see His love, mercy, forgiveness, and transformation through your life.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
FRIDAY MORNING PRAYER
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for coming not because we were perfect, but because we needed You.
Thank You for Your mercy, grace, and forgiveness.
Help us never to allow our past mistakes, failures, or weaknesses to separate us from You.
Give us a humble heart like Zacchaeus — a heart that is willing to repent, change, make things right, and follow You.
Help us also to look at others through Your eyes and not judge them by their past.
May our lives become a testimony of Your transforming love.
In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
REMEMBER THIS FRIDAY:
“NO ONE IS TOO LOST FOR JESUS TO FIND.
NO ONE IS TOO BROKEN FOR JESUS TO RESTORE.
NO ONE IS TOO FAR FOR JESUS TO REACH.”
COME TO JESUS JUST AS YOU ARE.
LET HIM CHANGE YOU INTO WHO HE CREATED YOU TO BE.
HAVE A BLESSED FRIDAY.

Asia Bibi was an illiterate Christian farmhand in Pakistan when, on a sweltering day in 2009, she was sent to fetch water for her fellow farmworkers. Two Muslim women refused to drink from the same container as her, believing it had been made unclean by a Christian's touch. An argument broke out, and days later the women accused Bibi of insulting the Prophet Muhammad, a charge that carries a mandatory death sentence in Pakistan and one she denied from the very beginning.
Bibi was convicted in 2010 and spent the next eight years on death row, largely in solitary confinement, while her case became one of the most watched in the world. Two Pakistani officials who publicly defended her, provincial governor Salman Taseer and federal minister Shahbaz Bhatti, were both assassinated in 2010 for taking her side. In October 2018, Pakistan's Supreme Court finally overturned her conviction in a landmark ruling, citing serious concerns about the fairness of her original trial. The acquittal triggered days of violent nationwide protests from radical Islamist groups demanding her execution regardless of the court's ruling.
Even after being declared innocent, Bibi couldn't simply walk free. She spent months in secret protective custody, unable to leave a hidden room, while authorities negotiated her safe exit from the country amid ongoing death threats. She finally left Pakistan in 2019, reunited with her family, and was granted asylum in Canada. She later said simply, "I was accused because of the name of Jesus, and I knew I would be freed because of Jesus."
Do you think you could have held onto that hope through eight years on death row?

As the sun sets and another day comes to an end, let us take a moment to appreciate the gift of life.
Whatever you may be going through tonight, remember that everyday brings a new opportunity, and every tomorrow carries new hope.
Do not allow yesterday's disappointments to steal today's

May peace fill our hearts, love fill our homes and kindness guide our words and actions.
May God watch over family, comfort those who feel forgotten.
Tonight, choose peace over anger, love over hatred, forgiveness over bitterness, and hope over despair.
Good evening everyone.
