*THE TESTIMONY*
I never imagined that the pain of my divorce would follow me so deeply into my spiritual life. *For many years, I tried to hide it behind worship songs, behind serving in the church, behind the smile I forced whenever someone asked how I was coping. I always said, "God is faithful."* But deep inside, bitterness sat in my heart like a stone.
My name is Victoria Jerry and this is how my journey into hell began. After my divorce, strange things started happening around me. It began with nightmares. Dark figures standing by my bedside, whispering in languages I didn't understand.
Then came the sleepless nights. *I would lie down at 1:00 a.m. and by 5:00 a.m. I was still staring at the ceiling, fighting unseen heaviness that felt like hands pressing on my chest.*
-- I blamed stress.
-- I blamed trauma.
-- I blamed myself.
*But I never imagined it was something much older, something that had walked with me long before I was born.*
It was on a Wednesday evening just after choir practice when I felt something shift in my spirit. We had just finished singing a worship song, and while everyone else laughed and chatted, my heart was burning. Not with the fire of God, but with a heaviness that felt like grief.
As I walked home, my chest tightened. My vision dimmed slightly as though a dark fog was creeping in. I paused on the roadside, trying to catch my breath. A voice whispered inside me: *"You are next. Your mother went through it. your grandmother too. It is your turn."* I shook my head violently. *"No, I'm covered by the Blood of Jesus,"* I whispered. But even as I said it, fear stirred. That night, after preparing a simple meal for myself, I sat on my bed, scrolling through old pictures. My wedding day, the early years of my marriage, the smile I once carried so easily. My eyes filled with tears. *Not because I wanted my ex-husband back. No, that chapter was long dead. But because I couldn't shake the feeling that something had always been wrong, something bigger than our human disagreements.*
*"My God."* I whispered. *"Why did my marriage fall apart so fast?'* No answer came, only silence.
-- Fatigue washed over me thick and heavy.
-- I lay back to rest for a moment, just a moment. *But as soon as my eyes closed, a cold wind rushed through the room. Yet the windows were shut. My skin prickled. My heart started pounding. I sat up sharply. "Who is here?"* I whispered. The air grew heavier, pressing down on me.
*CAUSE OF NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE*
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my chest. My vision blurred. I tried to stand, but my legs buckled under me. My breath came in short, panicked gasps. *"Jesus, help me."* I fell to the floor with a loud thud. My ears rang violently. My fingers felt numb. Then everything stopped. The pain, the ringing, the panic, silence.
*THE REVELATION*
When I opened my eyes, I was no longer lying on the floor. I was standing, yet my body was still on the ground below me. My lifeless face stared upward, eyes half opened. A scream formed in my throat, but no sound came out. *"What is happening? God, what is happening?"* That was when a force, cold and powerful, gripped my wrist from behind. I spun around, and what I saw made every part of me tremble. *A tall shadow, shaped like a man, but with no face, loomed over me. Its voice sounded like hundreds of voices speaking together.* *"Victoria, your time has come. You belong to us."* I tried to run, but my legs wouldn't move. It pulled me backward, dragging me through the ceiling as though it was made of air.
The world around me dissolved into a long, dark tunnel. I could hear screams, deep, haunting, echoing endlessly. The air smelled of burning flesh and rotten decay. I screamed: *"Jesus! Jesus! Save me!"* But my voice sounded swallowed by the darkness. The shadow tightened its grip, whispering, *"Your marriage did not fail by accident. Your bloodline made a covenant long before you were born."*
Before I could understand what that meant, the tunnel grew hotter, fire glowing faintly ahead. My spirit shook violently. *I knew where I was being taken. Hell.*
But even in that terror, a light suddenly flashed in the distance, bright, powerful, cutting through the darkness like a sword. *The shadow shrieked and released me, and I felt myself falling, falling straight into a realm I never imagined I would see with my own eyes.*
I was falling through the darkness, but it wasn't like falling through air. It felt as though invisible hands were pulling me downward, dragging me from one realm into another. The cries grew louder as I descended. *It was as if millions of voices were calling for mercy at the same time, yet none were heard.*
The heat hit me first. It wasn't the kind of heat you feel on a sunny day in Kenya. This one felt alive, like it had fingers. It wrapped around me, squeezing my skin, entering into my nostrils and burning all the way to my lungs. I gasped, but there was no air to breathe. The deeper I sank, the heavier the atmosphere became, pressing on me like a living weight.
Below me, the darkness broke open into a horrific landscape, lit by a red glow. Rivers of fire bubbled and hissed like molten metal. The ground was cracked and alive, shifting as if breathing. Screams rose and fell like waves, waves of torment. I landed on a rough, rocky surface that burned my feet instantly. When I lifted them, the rocks clung to my skin like hot tar. I screamed. *"I wasn't supposed to be here. I served God. I loved Jesus."* I prayed. I fasted. I lived as best as I could. *"Why am I here?"* I cried out. A deep mocking laughter echoed behind me. I turned slowly, trembling. A creature, huge, twisted, with a body like charred flesh and eyes burning like coals, stood watching me. Its voice was like broken glass scraping against metal. *"Because your bloodline belongs to us, we have waited for you, Victoria."* My heart froze. *"What do you mean?"* I whispered. It stepped closer, its heavy feet shaking the ground. *"Did you think your divorce was ordinary?"* It hissed. *"Your mother suffered. Your grandmother suffered. Every woman in your bloodline has walked the same path. Broken vows, shattered homes, pain, rejection. We made sure of it."*
I covered my ears, shaking my head. *"No, that's a lie. My marriage ended because of mistakes. We both hurt each other."* It cut me off with a roar. *"You speak like someone who knows nothing. Your pain was our work. Every conflict, every misunderstanding, every betrayal, we pushed it, and you followed just like those before you."* I fell to my knees, crying uncontrollably. *"God, God, where are you?"* I whispered as if in answer, the ground beneath me cracked open, releasing a burst of smoke and fire. I stumbled back, coughing. From the fisher rose an enormous gate made of black iron, glowing from the heat within. *Souls clung to the bars, screaming in agony, their hands burned down to bone.* The demon pointed toward it. *"This is where women from your bloodline are kept. The ones bound by the marital covenant your ancestors made with us. A covenant sealed in bitterness, suffering, and blood."* My ears rang. My body shook uncontrollably. I stammered. *"But but I'm saved. I belong to Jesus."* At that moment, the gate shook violently. *A blast of white light exploded behind me, throwing the demon backward with a furious scream.*
The ground trembled, the sky tore open, and a brilliant, pure light descended like a pillar. I shielded my eyes. Even the flames around me shrank back.
*When I dared to look, I saw Him. Jesus. His Robe was white, far whiter than anything on earth. His Eyes were filled with a mixture of sorrow and authority. The light around Him pushed back the darkness like a storm retreating from the sea.*
I fell flat on my face, shaking like a leaf. *"Lord, Lord Jesus, have mercy on me,"* I sobbed. He came closer, and when His Feet touched the fiery ground, the flames died instantly around Him. With a gentle voice, He said: *"Victoria, stand."* I struggled up, tears flowing uncontrollably. His Presence felt like cool water on a burning wound. It calmed me, strengthened me, yet exposed everything hidden inside me.
I whispered: *"Lord, why am I here?"* I thought my divorce, my pain. I thought it was just life. Jesus looked at me with Eyes full of deep compassion. *"Your pain was real,"* He said softly, *"but the roots were spiritual. You did not know the origin of your battles. You did not know the covenant your ancestors entered into."* I swallowed hard. *"Covenant?"* I echoed. He nodded. *A generational marital covenant. One that bound the women of your bloodline to cycles of broken marriages, repeated patterns, bitterness, and sorrow."*
I shook my head slowly, tears streaming.
-- My grandmother, she was abandoned.
-- My mother, too, I whispered.
Jesus continued. *"And now you carried the same burden. The enemy claimed a right. That is why you were brought here to understand and to be delivered."* I stared at Him, stunned and trembling. *"But Lord, my marriage failed. Does that mean I'm condemned?"* Jesus knelt slightly so His Eyes were level with mine. His Voice was gentle yet powerful. *"Your divorce does not condemn you. But the bitterness that followed opened a doorway, and the curse attached itself to your pain."* My breath caught in my throat. *"Lord, what will happen to me?"* A firmness entered His Voice. *"Come, I will show you where the covenant began."*
He stretched out His Hand. I hesitated for a moment, then placed my shaking hand in His. Instantly, the fire around us parted like curtains, revealing a path that descended even deeper. And Jesus began to lead me into the part of hell, where the root of the generational curse waited to be exposed. Jesus held my hand as we walked deeper into the fiery landscape. Every step we took seemed to silence the screams around us. *Demons hid in cracks and shadows, snarling, but unable to come near. It wasn't because of me. It was because of Him. His Presence was a command they could not resist.*
As we moved forward, I noticed shapes, souls chained to pillars, souls crawling on broken ground, souls crying out names of people they once loved. The deeper we went, the more the flames dimmed, replaced by a heavy darkness that felt ancient, older than any story ever told.
I whispered, trembling, *"Lord, where are we going?"* Jesus answered with a firmness that carried both justice and sorrow. *"To the foundation of your battle, to the altar your ancestors raised."*
A sudden wind, cold and sharp, swept past us. In the distance, I saw a structure forming, rising like something alive.*It looked like a broken shrine carved out of black stone, covered with symbols I had never seen before. Old tribal marks glowing red like embers. Skulls were embedded in the walls. Thick chains dangled from wooden beams. Each link pulsing as if carrying a heartbeat.* I stepped closer and froze as I realized something terrifying. The women chained to the altar looked familiar.
-- One had my mother's eyes.
-- Another had my grandmother's posture.
-- Another looked like an older version of me.
My voice cracked. *"Lord, who are they?"* Jesus replied, His Voice echoing across the darkness. *"These are the souls bound by the marital covenant your ancestors made with a demonic spirit of destruction, a curse passed down through the women of your lineage."* My knees weakened. *"Lord, what covenant? My family never spoke of this."*
*THE COVENANT WITH DARKNESS THAT IS THE FOUNDATION OF EVIL PATTERNS*
Jesus lifted His Hand and instantly a bright screen like a window into time opened in the air before me. *The scene was old, ancient, trees, huts, fire light, tribal clothing.*
I saw a woman, strong, desperate, crying. *It was my great great grandmother. She was kneeling before a witch doctor.* My breath caught. *The witch doctor drew strange symbols on her arms, chanting as he mixed herbs and animal blood.* My ancestor cried out: *"Save my marriage. Save my home. I cannot lose my husband."* Her voice shook with anguish. The witch doctor looked at her and said: *"If you want your husband, you must vow. You must surrender something precious."* She nodded eagerly. *"I'll give anything,"* He replied. *"Then offer your bloodline. Let every woman after you carry this burden instead."* My heart shattered. *"No, no, she didn't know. She didn't understand.'* Jesus looked at me gently. *"Ignorance does not break covenants, and desperation often births great bondage."*
*We watched as she cut her palm and let her blood drip onto the small altar built of stones and bones. The fire on the altar erupted violently, turning black. A demonic figure rose from it, tall, horned, covered in smoke. It placed its hand on her head and declared: "I accept your vow from you to your daughters and your daughter's daughters. These marriages shall never stand. They shall know rejection, sorrow, and abandonment. Unless the covenant is broken by the One with Power above all powers."*
Jesus closed His Hand, and the vision vanished. I fell to the ground weeping so hard I could barely breathe. *"So all this time, the pain in our family, the betrayal, the constant heartbreak, it wasn't just human failure."* Jesus answered softly. *"It was a covenant, an agreement your bloodline never renounced, and the enemy used it to destroy each generation."* I sobbed. *"Lord, why didn't we know? Why didn't anyone see it?"* Jesus knelt beside me and touched my shoulder. *"Because curses hide in patterns and pain blinds the heart. But I have brought you here to reveal the root so you may be free and free your children after you."*
Before I could respond, a deep rumble shook the ground. The ancient altar began to glow, and the chains on the women rattled violently. From behind the altar, a demon taller than any I had seen emerged. Horns twisted, body covered in ashes and scars, eyes like burning oil. *It pointed at me with a long bony finger. "You do not belong here, daughter of light. The covenant binds you. Your marriage fell because we fed it. We whispered bitterness into your home. We fed your fears. We stirred rejection. We destroyed your peace. And now you dare come to break what we own?"*
I felt fear rise like cold water in my chest. *"Lord, I can't face that thing. I can't."* Jesus stepped in front of me. His Voice shook the entire realm. *"Enough."* The demon staggered backwards, screaming. *"You have tormented this bloodline for generations. Today, your right ends."*
The ground split open. Chains snapped on their own. The altar began to crack. The air filled with furious roars from the kingdom of darkness.
Jesus turned to me. *"Victoria, what was hidden has now been revealed. But before the covenant is broken, you must see the full consequences. You must understand the weight of what bound you."*
He extended His Hand again. *"Come, there is more to see."* With trembling legs, I stood.
*THE REVELATION OF THOSE WHO DESTROYED THEIR HOMES WITH BITTERNESS, ANGER, AND UNFORGIVENESS*
The next revelation awaited. Jesus led me away from the ancient altar. And as we walked, the atmosphere around us changed. The flames grew taller and darker, moving like living creatures. The screams grew sharper, filled with regret and torment. *It was as though Hell itself knew what was coming next, and it wasn't pleased.*
We entered an area that looked like a vast canyon. The ground was cracked into deep trenches filled with liquid fire. *Human figures, men and women, were trapped in these trenches, their bodies contorted by pain, their mouths open in silent screams.* The smell of burning flesh was overwhelming. I covered my mouth, trembling. *"Lord, where are we?"* Jesus looked ahead with sorrow in His Eyes. *"This is the place where those who destroyed their homes through bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness cry out."* *"But for you, I bring understanding, not condemnation."*
I swallowed hard as we walked forward. I could feel hostile eyes watching me from every crack in the canyon walls. Shadows hissed my name, whispering accusations. *"You failed. You were not enough. Your marriage died because of you. You were easy to provoke."* I pressed my hands against my ears, shaking my head. *"No. No. Stop."* Jesus touched my shoulder and immediately the voices faded like dust blown away by the wind.
He said softly. *"The enemy has accused you for years. But today Truth speaks louder.'* Suddenly a bright screen appeared before us. Another vision. *This time I saw my own marriage unfolding from a spiritual perspective.* I wasn't prepared for what I saw.
-- I watched myself and my ex-husband in our small living room arguing. *But behind us, in the unseen realm, demonic figures hovered around, whispering words into our ears.* To him, they whispered: *"She thinks you're useless. She doesn't respect you. Walk out. Leave. Don't apologize."* To me, they whispered: *"He doesn't love you. You're alone. Say something hurtful. Don't let him win."*
-- Every harsh word we spoke, I saw the demons celebrating.
-- Every tear I cried, the spirits fed on it.
-- Every moment we withdrew from each other, chains tightened around us. *Chains I never even knew existed.*
I broke down in tears. *"Lord, I didn't know. I thought it was just life. I thought he didn't care."*
Jesus looked at me with so much compassion, it melted the shame in my heart. *"Your marriage was attacked. The covenant empowered the enemy to weaken every attempt at peace, and the bitterness that followed opened even more doors."*
He lifted His Hand, and the vision shifted.
Now I saw my mother, young, beautiful, broken, crying alone at night
-- Then my grandmother packing her bags after a violent argument.
-- Then two of my aunts, both divorced before age 30. *It was the same pattern. The same pain, the same cycle.*
I covered my face, sobbing deeply. *"Lord, this curse destroyed all of us, every generation, every woman."* Jesus nodded. *"And its goal was to destroy you as well. The covenant demanded your tears, your pain, and your isolation. Hell celebrated every moment you felt unworthy, rejected, and forgotten."*
Then He added with a Voice that shook the darkness. *"But I have come to stop what has continued for too long."*
Suddenly, from the ground beside us, a pit opened violently. Fire roared out, and a massive demonic spirit rose from it, its body shaped like a serpent with a woman's face twisted in torment. Chains wrapped around its torso like armor. It pointed at me and hissed: *"She is ours. She carries the mark. Her marriage ended because of me. Her bitterness gave me strength."* Jesus stepped forward, shielding me with His Light. *"Silence."* The demon shrieked and fell backward, trembling. Jesus turned to me and said: *"Victoria, you needed to see how far this curse reached. You needed to understand how the enemy used your wounds, your confusion, and your brokenness. But take heart. Understanding is the doorway to freedom."*
I wiped my tears, breathing hard. *"Lord, is there still hope for me? For my future, for my children."* His eyes softened with a love I cannot describe. *"There is not only hope, there is destiny. But before I release you, the covenant must be broken. And that will happen now."* My heart pounded. Fear and hope wrestled inside me.
Jesus extended His Hand again. *"Come, the breaking point aw
