  • Matthew 28:6 is one of the most powerful verses in all of scripture because it contains a phrase that quietly reveals the absolute faithfulness of Jesus Christ.

“He is not here, for he has risen, just as he said.” (Matthew 28:6)

    Just as He said.

That phrase melts my heart every time I read it because it reminds me that Jesus always fulfills His word completely. Before the cross, Jesus told His disciples repeatedly that He would be betrayed, crucified, and rise again on the third day. (Matthew 16:21) And when the women arrived at the tomb, heaven itself announced the resurrection with this simple but powerful reminder:

    Just as He said.

Jesus did exactly what He promised.

I think many people struggle trusting God because life has disappointed them so deeply. People break promises. Relationships fail. Circumstances shift unexpectedly. But the resurrection stands as eternal proof that Jesus Christ is completely trustworthy. The empty tomb is heaven declaring that every promise connected to Jesus can be trusted fully.

And honestly, I love that the angel did not simply say, “He has risen.” The angel intentionally added, “just as he said.” It is as if heaven was reminding humanity that Jesus had already spoken victory before the battle even unfolded.

That changes the way I view every promise in scripture.

When Jesus says He will never leave you nor forsake you, He means it. (Hebrews 13:5)

When Jesus says no one can snatch you out of His hand, He means it. (John 10:28)

When Jesus says your sins are forgiven through His blood, He means it. (Ephesians 1:7)

When Jesus says whoever believes in Him has eternal life, He means it. (John 3:16)

The resurrection proves Jesus does not speak empty words.

    He fulfills what He promises.

I think this verse also reveals something beautiful about the finished work of Christ. The resurrection was not an emotional recovery after tragedy. It was victory accomplished exactly according to God’s plan from the very beginning. Sin was defeated just as He said. Death was conquered just as He said. Separation was removed just as He said.

Everything Jesus accomplished happened exactly as heaven promised.

And honestly, I think some of you need to remember that today.

Maybe life feels uncertain right now.
    Maybe prayers feel delayed.
    Maybe circumstances look confusing.

But the empty tomb still declares the same truth:
Jesus is faithful to His word.

The disciples once stood devastated believing everything was over. Fear filled their hearts. Hope seemed buried inside that tomb. Yet while humanity thought the story had ended, heaven was already preparing resurrection.

    Just as He said.

That means your current situation is not greater than the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. The same Savior who walked out of the grave still holds your life in His hands today. His promises are not fragile. His grace is not temporary. His finished work is not incomplete.

And I think one of the most beautiful parts of the resurrection story is that Jesus did not rise merely to prove His power. He rose so humanity could live fully reconciled to the Father forever. (Romans 4:25)

The empty tomb is not merely proof that Jesus lives.

It is proof that the cross worked.

Proof that sin was fully paid for.
    Proof that grace is greater.
Proof that death lost its authority.
Proof that believers now stand righteous before God through Christ.

    Just as He said.

Those four words remind me constantly that Jesus can be trusted completely. Not partially. Completely.

And if He fulfilled the greatest promise of all through His resurrection, then you can trust Him with every other promise connected to your life as well.

  • I got born again in 2017 September in my 1st year in College. Before I got born again I mobilized young people to attend night clubs and dance while drunk with alcohol and smoking. The Lord totally delivered Me from addictions and today I'm drawing many youths to Christ through the Gospel of the word and music. I'm glad that I totally changed and right now I'm a New Creation in Christ

  • Maybe nobody has ever told you this clearly before, but Jesus truly loves you. Not a future version of you. Not a cleaned-up version of you. Not the version of you that finally gets everything together. He loves you right now, fully knowing your story, your struggles, your questions, your regrets, your pain, and every hidden thing you carry inside. Nothing about your life surprises Him, and nothing about your past has made Him pull away from you.

I know many people picture God as distant, angry, or impossible to approach. Maybe religion made you feel condemned. Maybe life wounded you deeply. Maybe people claiming to represent God hurt you. Or maybe you simply feel too far gone for God to truly want you. But when you look at Jesus, you see the heart of God clearly. Jesus moved toward broken people constantly. He touched lepers nobody else wanted near them. He forgave people drowning in shame. He ate with sinners. He restored failures. He welcomed hurting people close instead of pushing them away. (John 14:9)

The truth is, humanity was never created to live separated from God. Deep down, every person is searching for something. Some search through success. Some through money. Some through relationships, substances, pleasure, distractions, or achievement. I know that personally because before Jesus changed my life, I tried filling emptiness with worldly things and substances too. But no temporary thing on earth can fully heal what only the love of God can restore internally.

    That is why Jesus came.

God did not send Jesus into the world because He hated humanity. He sent Jesus because He loved humanity deeply. (John 3:16-17) Jesus stepped into our broken world willingly. He lived the life we could never live perfectly, then went to the cross to carry our sin, shame, guilt, condemnation, and separation from God upon Himself. The cross was not an accident. It was love on full display.

When Jesus stretched out His arms on the cross, He was thinking about humanity completely. Every failure. Every addiction. Every hidden regret. Every painful mistake. Every moment of darkness. Jesus willingly took our place so we could be brought near to God forever. Scripture says, “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

    Notice that verse carefully.

Jesus did not wait for humanity to become perfect before loving them.

He came while people were still broken.

That means you do not need to clean yourself up first before coming to God. So many people think they must fix themselves before Jesus will accept them, but the gospel says the opposite. Jesus is the One who restores people from the inside out. He does not say, “Change first, then come to Me.” He says, “Come to Me.” (Matthew 11:28)

And the story does not end at the cross.

Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead. Death could not hold Him. Sin could not defeat Him. Darkness could not overcome Him. The resurrection proved that Jesus truly is the Son of God and that eternal life is now available freely through Him. (Romans 10:9)

This is the beauty of the gospel.

Christianity is not about becoming religious enough to earn God’s acceptance. Christianity is about receiving what Jesus already accomplished for you through His finished work. Salvation is a gift of grace. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Through faith in Jesus Christ, your sins are forgiven, your relationship with God is restored, and you become a child of God forever.

And I really want you to hear this part clearly.

Jesus is not waiting for some future version of you before He is ready for you.

    He is ready now.

Right in the middle of your questions.
Right in the middle of your struggles.
Right in the middle of your brokenness.
Right in the middle of your fear.

He already knows everything about you, and His arms are still open.

That is the beauty of grace.

    You may feel unworthy.
    You may feel ashamed.
    You may feel exhausted.
You may feel like nobody fully sees your pain.

    But Jesus does.
And the cross already proved your value forever.

So if your heart feels drawn toward Him right now, do not ignore that. The love you have been searching for is not found in temporary things. It is found in the One who created you, died for you, rose again for you, and desires relationship with you forever.
    Jesus loves you deeply.
    He died for you completely.
And through His finished work, the door to the Father is already wide open for you right now.

  • Do not become double minded concerning what God has already revealed to you.

There comes a point where faith must become settled. Where you refuse to negotiate with fear, doubt, culture, or past experiences.

Stand firm in what you have come to believe. Not because circumstances are perfect, but because truth does not change when feelings do.
