Lord Jesus Christ Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and the Lord of our lives. The Sacrifice of Thanksgiving "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess His name." Hebrews 13:15 In the Old Testament, people offered various sacrifices to God. But in the New Testament, God desires a special sacrifice from His people—the sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving. It is easy to give thanks when everything is going well. However, when there are tears, struggles, financial difficulties, sickness, or delayed answers to prayer, continuing to praise God becomes a true sacrifice of praise. When Job lost everything in his life, he did not blame God. Instead, he declared: “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” (Job 1:21) That was a sacrifice of thanksgiving. When Paul and Silas were imprisoned with their hands and feet in chains, they still sang praises to God. Their worship shook the foundations of the prison. That was a sacrifice of thanksgiving. True worship is not only praising God when everything goes according to our plans. True worship is saying: “Lord, I may not understand everything right now, but I still thank You because You are good.” Dear brothers and sisters, Thanksgiving is not merely a feeling; it is a decision. There are times when we do not feel like giving thanks. There are times when circumstances provide no obvious reason to praise. There are moments when our tears are so many that words seem impossible. Yet, choosing gratitude during such seasons becomes one of the greatest testimonies of faith. When we thank God in difficult times, we declare: “My circumstances are not the foundation of my faith—my God is.” God does not always answer our prayers in the way we expect, but He always works for our good. The doors He closed were also part of His love. The waiting He allowed had a purpose. The struggles He permitted carried His plan. Therefore, do not thank God only for the things you understand and enjoy. Thank Him also for the things you do not yet understand. One day, when you look back, you will realize that God was faithful through every season of your life. Remember: A thankful heart is never poor, because it is filled with the goodness of God. Be still, and know that I am God. Psalms 46:10 Psalm 46:10 reminds us that God is still in control, even when life feels uncertain. Sometimes we become overwhelmed by problems, responsibilities, and fear about the future. We try to solve everything with our own strength, and our hearts become tired. But today God says: “Be still, and know that I am God.” This means we must stop allowing fear to control our hearts and start trusting God completely. When we become quiet before God, we begin to hear His voice more clearly. When we surrender our worries to Him, His peace fills our hearts. This morning God wants to remind you that you are not alone in your battles. Even when people fail you, God remains faithful. Even when the world becomes uncertain, God never changes. There may be storms in your life right now. Maybe you are carrying burdens no one understands. Maybe you are praying and waiting for answers. Maybe your heart feels tired and discouraged. But remember this: God is working even when you cannot see it. When the Israelites stood before the Red Sea, they saw no way forward. Behind them was the enemy, and before them was the sea. But when they trusted God, He opened a path where none existed. In the same way, God can still make a way for you today. No problem is too big for Him. No broken situation is beyond His power. No prayer is forgotten before Him. Today choose faith over fear. Choose prayer over anxiety. Choose trust over doubt. ✝️God is bigger than your storm. ✝️God is stronger than your weakness. ✝️God’s peace is greater than your fear. ✝️God’s plan for your life is still good. Do not lose hope. Your waiting is not wasted. Your tears are not unseen. Your prayers are not unheard. The same God who calmed the storm, healed the sick, and raised the dead is still working today. And He is able to bring peace, healing, restoration, and breakthrough into your life. Today’s Blessed Morning Bible Verse “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:5-6 Today’s verse teaches us how important it is to trust in God in every situation of life. Many times we depend on our own understanding, experience, and plans. When things do not happen according to our expectations, we become afraid, worried, and discouraged. But God says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” Not half-hearted faith, but complete faith. Not only during good times, but also in difficult moments. Even when no way seems possible, God can still make a way. When people say that nothing can be done anymore, God can still perform miracles. He can open closed doors, rebuild broken lives, and bring new hope even into dry places. Many times we make quick decisions and later regret them. But when we seek God’s guidance through prayer, He shows us the right direction. God’s way is always the best way, even if it seems difficult in the beginning. If today you are worried about a decision, a problem, or your future, say to the Lord: “Lord, I do not want to rely on my own understanding, but I want to trust in Your will.” Today’s verse reminds us that faith is not just words, but a way of living. True faith is revealed when circumstances are difficult and yet we continue to trust in God. Abraham followed God without knowing everything ahead. Moses kept faith even in front of the Red Sea. David trusted God instead of fearing Goliath. And every time, God gave victory to His people. In the same way, today God wants us to let go of fear and worry and place our trust in Him. When we value His will more than our own plans, He leads our lives in the right direction. You may not see the answer today, but God already knows what is ahead. He sees your tomorrow as well. Therefore, keep your faith strong. Your prayers will not go in vain. Make this decision today that no matter what happens, you will never let go of the Lord’s hand. Because those who trust in God are never put to shame. Blessed Morning Prayer for All Members Heavenly Father, We thank You for giving us another new day.
